Spent most of my day listening to old #cassetetape of #LesterBangs opine on everything from exploitation films to the #Mc5 in a series of audio tapes that have made their way to me like unholy relics of rock. The best today was a bizarro gig on Wpix where Lester played dj, dropped s-bombs, played teenage jesus and the jerks, and played a mel blanc record of daffy duck doing anti-dope commercials.
