leo can't suppress the growl that resonates deep in his chest. he understands having reasonable doubt, but of HIM ? he wasn't the project's and the government's favourite little darling assassin for nothing. he has half a mind to take his rifle and waltz back to his employers covered in brain matter and request, respectfully, at gunpoint, that they STOP pairing him with people.

GRANTED, this was a contact that was recommended to them. doubting him was not doing any good either - but to blindly follow his demands without a shred of skepticism was just as bad. the aggression in his movements, his lack of agreement towards scoping things out: these make HOUSTON worried that something will go off because of the other's haste. a CLEAN JOB takes time & patience. the latter, this man was lacking.
