Two ♡♤ Husker/Dust springtime allergy wavs are coming next, some time in May! (8. and 9. in listening order.) I lovingly refer to these two scripts as my twin wavs as they were written at the same time. (and in honor of An/gel and Mo/lly 🧁🎉🕸).

i just read the entire wiki page of jan hus and i have to admit i didn't expect to find myself in tears from laughing by the end. john wycliffe and jan hus were og haters who fully exploited the idiocy of the high medieval doctrine. here are some quotes i believe to be art and comedy in its purest form;

I keep toying with the idea of Caboose having radio control equipment as an explanation for why he can control brakes (and because it was a late use of retrofitted cabooses irl). One of the more infamous examples of it irl was in Canada and him being Canadian would be so fitting with being unassuming, and the over the top “aboot” accent would be kind of fitting to his name.

and then I realized that the Canadian trucker protests were a thing and had possible links to Russian influence and lol wow he ties into my stupid “Rusty is a Russian agent” AU if you flip his allegiance. It even makes sense because it would be hard if not impossible to radio control a steam engine vs anything more modern. Apparantly it was tried at least once with a fireless one and it was a slippy dumpster fire so he might be able to stall him I guess.
