Trigger warning for suicide mentions. read with caution

I continuously have memories of the past. I'm glad I still remember the chaos it had brought to me before the fall.

I recently went to go check on how the Quotev revolt was going, when I tell you it had more people that had joined on it, I mean 7,743 people?

So many survivors want their home back, from the admins perspective, they done something marvelous. But in reality they've done more harm than good. [ examples from other survivors from the riot:

1. I had a tough time in the pandemic and my friends on q rlly helped. its so sad they have to take this away from all of us.

2. My friends are the most important part of Quotev for me, and if I can’t connect with them or talk to them, Quotev will mean close to nothing to me.

3. i have been on quotev, or quizzaz, since i was 14. the only reason i stayed on that site and ALIVE is because of the people. when i was in a dark place and i hit rock bottom, those friends saved me from myself. quotev is a support system for many who cannot afford an actual support system. taking away our ability to socialize won't just cost how many users it gets, it will cost literal lives.

4. I've seen lots of people who wanted to kill themselves and couldn't get help in real life. They got help through Quotev. They got help through groups. Dear Quotev admins, do you really want to be the cause of more people killing themselves? Quotev is one of the only places with people I can relate to. One of the only places where I can vent without being judged. The only place where my friends don't misgender me, the only place where I have friends who actually relate to me and understand me and most of all, know how to help. ]

And many more than I can count. It was more than just a quiz site for some people to say. Yes some of us needed to touch grass but it was a place where we could escape from what goes on in our actual lives.

And now, with the plan they've got to stop before it's too late, is gone.

Bit of a sneaky plot twist there, amirite?

A lot of people who hate on Christians have had bad experiences with Christianity/the church in the past. They're used to being judged and hurt for who they are, and because of that, they judge and hurt others.

It's important to remember that the world isn't black and white. The people who scream curses at you and insult you for your identity in Christ probably have people they love and are kind to.

Does this mean it's wrong to feel upset and hurt by their actions? Absolutely not! Your feelings are completely understandable. But we are not called to act like this world. We're called to be examples of Christ.

It's rough, but Jesus never said it would be easy. What's important is that you keep pressing towards the goal. I forget this a lot, chances are you do too. I'm probably going to contradict what I'm saying at some point, because I'm sinful and broken just like anyone else. For that I'm truly sorry.
