salt tastes really good to me. Here’s a little piece of lore of my life cause i reminded myself i love the taste of salt water:

You know how everyone had that one thing they always ate in secret as a kid, food or not? Well mine was salt. And no i dont just mean some extra salt ok my french fries, or needing more salt on some chicken. No no, i mean as in i’d eat it from tje container. I’d either eat the leftover salt thibgs from the top (which i’ve never understood why i did it) or pour some out, act like it was an accident, and eat it to “clean it up”. Yeah i needed excuses for everything as a kid. When my mom found out, she went first her usual ‘you’re gonna explode if you___’ spiel, but even that didnt stop it. She then resorted to telling me i’d turn into a sheep if i didnt stop. Why she chose a sheep? No clue! Im sure if i ask her, she’ll tell me she wont remember that or not know the reason anyway.

I was so terrified of turning into a sheep and being sent away to a random farm that i stopped. The only other time after that where i ate salt again was after i got pounced on by a huge dog while at my sister’s godparent’s house. Straight up knocked 7-8 year old me on the ground. I distinctly remember someone escorting me back to my mom, and while i was sobbing she poured a handful of salt right into her palm, held it up to my mouth, and said ‘here, eat your salt’ (in spanish, butt still)

not the best party i’ve been too, butt 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

#funnily enough i was never scared of dogs despite that #and i KNOW those dogs were mean cause apparently the godparents told their kids to not let us play around those dogs #i was not aware of this damn rule until i was shoved over by a dog #and i still owned a huge huskey and whatever the heck my other dog was at that time #awe i miss them #anyway #yeah idk why i shared this #i think it’s cause i want to taste salt water again #i only drink salt water cause i have a canker sore not cause im a salt eating freak again #i promise #glorbiez life story #im a very open book with everything except personal stuff (obviously)
