Quincy is good with kids, so the Operator is drawn to him the most. They stop speaking entirely after the conversation about Parvos Granum and Quincy's 'Power/money is everything' mentality.

(Please have mercy when you correct me, I suck at summarising people >_<)

Until the 'Jade Shadows/Belly of the Beast' event.

Drifter finds him at his shooting range a while later. The image of a Granum token is unmistakable - so are the bullet holes littering the paper.

"Don' get me wrong, cuz: still wanna meet the guy," he explains when they ask. "It just ain't gonna involve tea and cookies, y'know."

And they know.

Amir sticking his finger in Drifter's mouth while they're yawning (like you get the urge to do with cats) turns into a round of beating the horny thoughts off with a stick.

Kubrows don't have fur like that. And the eyes are weird. It's cute though. :)

The Operater would later get a sheep floof as a gift when the Drifter pays a visit.

Had ideas for three Spidersonas/OC's:

The first is a DnD inspired Hunter. She was trained as a hunter from a young age, but earned the boon of the goddess Neith after saving her while she was disguised as a young girl (her canon event). That boon includes gloves that can shoot webbing, boots that help her cling to walls, and a spider companion that helps her fight and warns her of danger. Both she and her spider go by she/her. Haven't decided who her arch-nemesis is yet.

The second has a symbiote named Recluse. They're more anti-heroes than heroes, never going out of their way to help someone unless they feel like it. All they really care about is thriving after her mom passed (her canon event). They're arch-rivals to Black Cat, as they just love to f# with her and mess up her heists just to get a rise out of her. Mainly by stealing whatever she had her paws on at the time and later returning it after they've lost interest. Pronouns include she/her, he/him and they/them.

The last one is a man possessed by The Gatekeeper. He takes the form of a half man/half spider monster: with mandibles, spider legs, extra eyes, venom, organic webbing; the works. He's practically omnipresent, appearing in whatever universe there's someone who the Gatekeeper has judged as unworthy of their powers. The only way to get rid of him is proving their worth as a spider (or him killing them).

I'd say he's the most fleshed out of the three because I could use him as an antagonist in my next-gen fic invoving the universe of 2099 (three guesses why he's in that universe, specifically).

Reposting here to keep things organized.

A little Au I came up with (that's probably already out there somewhere because nothing is original anymore), that I'm calling 'Reversed Fates':

When Zane tried to master Reflected Glory, Kai would take the fall and be exiled instead. Zane is angry that Kai would do something so stupid but that anger is eventually turned inward as he begins to wrestle with the fact that it was his fault for being so arrogant and reckless.

Basically, instead of Team Stax being made up of Kai, Maya and Boomer, it'll instead consist of Zane, Maya and Boomer (the name 'Stax' being in honor of the friend Zane lost so long ago). In the same vein, instead of Team Radikor being Zane, Zair and Techris, it'll be Kai, Zair and Techris (the Zair/Kai shippers are doing a happy mambo).

Most everything stays the same, except that Zane is more of a team-player than he is in canon. He's also a lot more critical of the team's mistakes, since he doesn't want the 'Reflected Glory' fiasco to happen again. He and Boomer also butt heads a lot, as Boomer blames Zane for Kai being exiled.

As for Team Radikor, Zair will take over Zane's position as team leader (just not as power hungry as her brother). Kai's more of the team's strategist, coming up with his usual hair-brained schemes. He's not exactly evil, just a little arrogant.

A lot of things'll change in season 2, since I'm planning on incorporating my Battacor centered fic in this Au too. Especially that cliffhanger ending that is still driving everyone nuts.
