i cannot understand people who think its crazy and weird to talk to your pets????
one its an amazing way to bond with them (esp with rolly, she recognizes my voice)
two. have you never experienced the joy of coming home after a long day and seeing your pet get so excited as you excitedly squeak their nicknames and run to greet them??
before his passing, i called rowdy: -bug -buppy / bubby -puppy -goober -buddy
i call rolly: -honey -sweetheart -beautiful -girl -gorgeous -love
cant explain the difference in nicknames but idk man !!!!! i love these guys so much !!!!!

4️⃣6️⃣ ______ something something fuckface virus happy spring break DOD-affiliateds can't travel now not that I do anything recreationally casually or for fun anyway but the spite in me is activated by it being removed as an option ______ - 🌒 I made another executive (but retroactively coach-approved) smith squit decision this week - I basically cluster-set all my reps because of how exertive squats are for me, & it occurred to me that I don't treat any other movement like this. [It's also no secret that my legs need the most growth, so every stone is worth turning.] Couple weeks ago I stripped working weight & rebuilt my form to stop letting my hips disengage & kick back on the way up, which changed a lot as far as activation. Now I'm trying to eliminate the complete stop & extended time at the top between reps, more of a continuous up&down to reach a muscular, not systemic, stopping point. In one way this has been easier to stomach on squat days but in another way harder bc I have to ruthlessly reduce weight to ensure this execution remains intact. 🌒 Figured out a way to progress my hyperbutts since tapping out the whole stack on the other cable machine - moved it to the regular cables which have a little more weight available, & then worked out how to position my feet almost on the ground instead to eliminate the issue of the attachment being too high off the ground for any ROM at all (which is why I was using the other cable machine before). 🌒 DB binch - tryna take out some pause at the top from these too, not that there was much anyway but still. 4️⃣2️⃣ ______ Anxiety at a consistently high enough pitch to produce physiological manifestations & almost nightly stress dreams lately with the addition of this 3wk nightly (unpaid) training for my job. Half of it is worry that I won't know how to do my job bc as of right now I really don't, & half of it is sheer cognitive dissonance about allowing this much stress from something at the bottom of my very small priority list & clocking a flat 0 on content I actually care about. That's always a hard no in my life & this has a very short deadline for turning itself around once I actually start working. I will not revolve my life around it the way I have had to for the training course. This thing owes me a lot of energy back right now so TBD. One more week & I get schedule control, & a lot more hours, back. ______ - 🌘 Coach said we need more mid back meat so more mid back meat order has been placed 🌘 So, feedback from last check-in included advice re: hip drive in squats, which was, I think, the last straw I needed to make me bite the bullet & reconstruct my squat with as much weight removed as necessary to do so, bc I was already not pleased with how much my hips have been kicking back again lately & letting my back take over the grind. This seems to happen with my compounds almost cyclically - I progress until I realize I'm letting form slip, then have to strip the movement down & restart. So this week I mentally accepted I would be surrendering some load & not going any heavier than I could with my ass UNDER IT THE WHOLE TIME. This ended up being less weight on my top set than I was previously using for backdowns. Cool cool cool cool cool cool but hey my actual ass was sore for days in a way it has never been sore from a bilateral squat pattern. 3️⃣2️⃣ ______ Where do I go to get my 300g Club membership card bc I'm in ittttttt 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 +25g carbs AND +25g protein - first non-carb bump! Putting me officially a thousand calories over where I ended my cut 5 months ago. Almost 2x the calories. & still only a few lbs up on the scale. More than I've ever consistently eaten outside of probably that 10 months I tried to heal from permacutting by eating intuitively & gained 50lbs. Def ate more then bc if I ate "intuitively" now I'd be eating more than this for sure! We are experimenting with higher protein, which is relieving bc it was macro gymnastics on the regs to not go over on protein with such high carbs due to the protein in those carb sources adding up, & this rising proportion of lower-quality protein was making me anxious also. Excited to see how the meatsuit responds. In the feedback from this check-in coach said he refers other clients to MY profile as an example of exercise technique - I had to back up & re-listen to make sure I heard that right, then I made the ugly face 😭😭😭 Deload next week then one more accumulation meso - I picked the location for this post bc that's exactly what he said 😶 ______ - 🌘 REDEMPTION ON SMITH SKREET - sonned the triple I failed 6 days prior, finally really slingshotting out of the fatigue from the sinus dumpster fire. & yes, still going shoeless & I think I'm gonna keep it that way for smith smith squits. 🌘 DB binch backdowns - almost lost the last one 🌘 Hyperbutts - I'm already almost using the whole stack here folks I'm gonna need to figure something out soonly... it's got another side so maybe I can set up in the middle & use both cables???
