1/9/25 sketchbook page; another day of notes, this time on babylonian constellations (note that i worked off modern star charts, so this is more an attempt to draw parallels than a credible look at the actual period interpretations)

1/3/25 sketch page. no butts this time (sorry) but have a roper and a 17th century dog?
#hyperionskies art#sketchbook#art#you may recognize the roper and ropees from the tiktok that popped out of my queue today#the dog is from a painting#at some point i should record which one bc i have Plans for that dog#i think ive figured out what i want to do with#andras#thats the bitch i had to go find his name#im determined to at least sort out the basic setting and plot threads for this thing andras is for this year#i got stuck on setting bc i wanted a big scope that mapped to irl but didnt want to worry about researching EVERY CULTURE ON EARTH CURRENT#OR PAST#but also didnt want to step into yeah this is global but also white american#and i LIKED the idea of it mapping to irl and not a made up modern setting#for reasons#so this has been a major conundrum for me thus far#anyways. andras also had some adjustments he needed#and i think i know what im doing there

2/8/25; been playing a lot of ffxiv lately with my bun. thinking about naming him Sunny Ashclaw - i like them separately but im not sure if they go well together or not yet
