yknow what fuck it. I think chris should be in the car when eddie crashes into a tree. I think the surface level loose ends should be tied up - helena and ramon and their place in chris's life, chris asked to come home, whatever, we're leaving texas with an air of finality and slight apprehension.

all of a sudden it's too late for "I'll explain when he's older." all of a sudden there's no point to the patented diaz family cold shoulder. you two are on your way back to a home you've never fully defined and then you're not moving an inch. suddenly you're realizing there's actually a whole lot you've left unsaid and you better get it out now. don't even get me started on the shannon parallels... eddie and chris are figuring out how to be a team again (they never lost it), gavin mchugh is acting his pants off, eddie is fighting to get back home to his family. then we're home safe and irrevocably changed and what happens now?
