I know that Trump is a fucking idiot, but does he really not know that Connecticut is part of New England? My eyes are rolling.

Of course, all of his cronies - all of the real people pulling the strings behind all of the moves he makes, knows that energy is currently a big issue in states like my own, Connecticut. Energy costs right now are ridiculous and something that many in the state, regardless of political parties are struggling with. Now we have Canada withholding energy, which I fully support, they should do that.

But sadly, that is going to impact the cost of energy in a number of blue New England states that didn't vote for Trump, and will make the current energy situation even worse. So we get this whole tactic of pushing for a pipeline through New England states. Ugh, I cannot!

We don't want a pipeline. We don't want environmental impacts of that. Also, I have no doubt it will cost a shit ton and be something that we would have to pay for. It would likely either never actually made or be some half finished mess that costs far too much. Add Trump's disaster with tariffs and it just creates a chaotic mess, omg.

New England states likely wouldn't give their support for this anyway. (Though, with the rate things are going, States and their rights will eventually be meaningless). But just thinking about the What If of it all makes my eyes roll right out of my head. I cannot.
