I have vague ideas for what Rosemary's play style would be like as a canon character, but I don't know nor care that much about meta to actually consider the details, so here's a list of skills/passives that I think would be neat based on her symbolism as a shepherd/character in general. I get super rambly at the end so no pressure to read this at all LOL I just like getting my ideas down.

Once again I'd like to acknowledge that this would probably make anyone into actual meta cringe. But I'm not a game designer I am just here to throw ideas for symbolism down.

Elemental skill - "Poison Ivy" - Applies dendro cores, when a core bursts it also stuns the enemy temporarily. Kind of similar to Tighnari's skill.

Elemental burst - "Shepherd's Voice" - Groups enemies together and does some sort of dendro damage to those in the group. I've always imagined this as a toss of her polearm, almost like a boomerang, since her signature weapon is meant to mimic a shepherd's crook.

Passive skill - "Sheep Fold" - When Rosemary is in the party, shield duration is extended. This is based on "sheep folds", where shepherds will combine herds and then take shifts staying awake at night to protect the communal herd. Basically extra duration of defense.

Passive skill - "Room in the Herd" - When using an omni-obiquity net to collect animals for the teapot, there is a chance you will receive two. (Maybe it's guaranteed since there is basically no benefit to this unless you really give a fuck about the teapot and they are only decorative rather than actual materials and the nets themselves cost mora LOL)

Passive - "Borrowed Time" - When Rosemary's HP reaches under 30%, she will immediately restore 50% of her HP. However, the 50% will immediately begin depleting. This acts almost like a bond of life, the idea is that she is able to push through and expend extra energy, which gives the player extra time to heal or clear status issues such as frost or saves her from being knocked out in the heat of battle, but it's not "free" HP. Dehya has a similar passive where when she's under a certain amount of HP, she'll slowly regain a certain amount over time. Rosemary gains it immediately, but she can only keep it long enough to fix her status. Something like this would mirror Dehya's helpful skill of regaining some HP/pushing through, but is adjusted a bit more to reflect Rosemary as a character with health problems. Maybe, like bond of life, if you heal normally it will clear the depletion and you can keep whatever you gained in time. No clue if this is making any sense. Okay like say Rosemary has 10K max HP. She gets under 3K, so she regains 5K immediately, but she will lose 5K HP within a certain time frame. You have her at 8K now, but if you take 4K damage or smthn within this timeframe and don't heal, she will die bc she will lose that "borrowed" 5K. Again, this is mostly meant to extend her time on the field or give the player a second chance to act fast and heal her if she is really low health.

This is an afterthought, but I think it worked out nicely that she would work harmoniously in a team with Barbara and Diona, too. I mentioned this in my fic, but she's protective of both of them, so having Barbara as a healer and Diona as a shielder working well with her would be kind of cool, too ^-^ ofc dehya has to be there for melt/burgeon/burn/vaporize reactions. Dehya and Rosemary and their two kids Dehya didn't ask for.

these were for kendall if im not mistaken... well she has been in at best two somewhat serious relationships, three if we count whatever the hell she had/still has with marci... not necessarily her favourite thing but she always spirals. blocks the person on every platform, doesnt go out for days if she can, drowns a bucket of ice cream and binges her comfort movies. also tends to dive bomb into a new relationship straight away like girl get help...

umm not really i wouldnt think so... kendall has that stuck-upness about herself that makes her not enjoy most things that are fun. like girl get help for real

well yes... or kind of? she was literally on fire at her 2022 silverstone crash so i guess i can count that as such lol. kendall has had a few rather serious incidents but she loves to downplay everything to appear stronger

This is my opinion, and how NETFLIX edited DTS. There are always different perspectives. Not hard feelings if you disagree.

Ep1. Stroll has way too much money. Lance looks miserable in almost all the events. Love Lance and Alonso

Ep2. Confirmation about everything I dislike about Redbull. Nick deserved to end the season.

Ep3. Lando made me cry. Confirmation that I love Lando. McLaren needs to keep him happy or else.

Ep4. Hass disappointment as always. The episode was also so dull

Ep5. Gasly Ocon Civil War. Nothing new also boring

Ep6. Lewis needs a car to achieve the ultimate. This is not it. Totos frustration shows big time.

Ep7. More Alpine yawn.why do we need 2 episodes? Otmar hope you come back soon.

Ep8. Forza Ferrari. Carlando love and heartbreaks for Charles

Ep9 didn't know Daniel as arrogant. Liam was amazing but ungrateful, and Yuki had everything against him. RB.2

hanzawa masato hadn’t been expecting any love whatsoever. that it is unconventional (or bizarre, or off putting, or so on) is salt in the wound.

(not that it doesn’t suit him, he knows himself to be someone who is, in more than one manner of speaking, fairly weird. acknowledging this is further salt in an exacerbated wound.)

tangentially: hanzawa masato doesn’t ordinarily have any particular desire to die, but recent circumstances have pushed him to reconsider.

well, fine, “to die” is something of an extreme. he doesn’t think he actually wishes to die, doesn’t want his heart to stop beating or his neurons to stop firing. it just has to be a violent enough reset, send him back to a youth where he’d wake up every morning and choose to be busy as a fun pastime rather than a survival tactic.

he’s back at the river. he never has his pant legs rolled up. it’s getting on his nerves.

the current is mild today. he can almost make out his face in the water, not that he wants to spend any time admiring his reflection. the sun’s beating down on him, too-warm on his skin. he inhales heat and regrets it.

his eyes reflected are wide open as they stare up at him. the reflection looks like it’s getting clearer.

masato doesn’t like that.

submerging his head, he figures that it couldn’t be any harder to breathe with water in his lungs than it is without.

sometimes, very rarely, when he has time alone with his thoughts, masato forgets how to breathe. becomes over-conscious of it and does it wrong, inhaling without feeling like enough oxygen is getting to his brain. his entire chest will move up and down but it feels like he’s dying.

to be frank, masato feels like he’s dying a lot. running on autopilot, it seems, is better for him in the long run.

but, well. that’s boring.

inhale for elastic muscle activation, exhale for large muscle contraction. draw your arm back, hit the ball.

breathe, won’t you?

leaving tashiro after club is easy. walking to the station to wait for the train is easy. clouds are gathering overhead. he rests his eyes awhile. rookie mistake.

his rib cage is rickety and the joints in his fingers have gone stiff. his neck has hardly any mobility to speak of. images like shadow puppetry are playing on the backs of his eyelids. weird love. mapping intimacy, tashiro drums his fingers on masato’s chest, where the bones of his rib cage jut out. presses down on the joints of each of his fingers until they pop.

stands behind him with his head in his hands and guides it just so until his neck cracks—

masato feels the train’s arrival in his bones. he opens his eyes. he feels geriatric. something about the barometric pressure.

tashiro-kun, do you know any chiropractors?

he squints at his phone, bleary.

with a license, he clarifies, unnecessarily.

masato is a little worried that he might have strange tastes.

it’s like this: being with tashiro gonzaburou is terribly easy for hanzawa masato when he’s not in love with him and wonderfully difficult when he is. this is an on-off situation. this makes everything worse. riddled with impossibilities—frankly masato’s convinced it’s a sickness. or a curse.

standing against the violent current with his feet planted firmly in the silt, masato ponders the symbolism at play. rivers representing cleansing, rebirth, the beginning of things. he, symbolically, watches a coffin bob apathetically downstream to his right. he, symbolically, wades with great difficulty to catch up with and lie in it. cleansing, rebirth, the beginning of things. destruction, also.

masato’s good with literature—the basis is that you cannot build upon what’s already been built. what existed must be razed to be remade. something must die to facilitate a rebirth. religious undertones abound, though flood myths are universal.

definitely a sickness; he wonders if there was ever any basis for this, before. he doesn’t really want to believe that tashiro was the first. selfishness. sickness. the sort of thing the river’s supposed to cleanse him of. what he should do is get out of the coffin, maybe swim around a little.

he doesn’t.

masato stares up at the sky above him, listens to the wood creaking around him. imagines he’s in a boat instead. a flood so great it threatens even the heavens—the rocking of his “boat” is making him a little, well, sick.

he jolts awake. riddled with impossibilities. weird dreams shouldn’t count.

they do, though.

he has reason to believe that the creaking of the “boat” was actually the creaking of his bones. he feels brittle enough to have earned the spot in that coffin. it might’ve been his all along.

he really doesn’t like that.

but also yea it has a certain energy to it, there's so many great arcs in c1/naddpod and specifically within the context of brennan guesting + the fact that grimhawk is quite far into c1, it kinda does have the sucky implication that a lot of people mightve (i say 'might' bc i presume there are people who only listened to the deadeye arc for brennan specifically that voted on this poll) spent so many hours listening to bahumia's characters and world and connected the most with the arc featuring their most popular guest.... feels bad man

but once again, if u adore the grimhawk arc, and hell if u adore it bc brennan's in it and you rlly like brennan, yknow what that's ur right!!! i think it's more of that vibe of when it's a lot of people at once, it does kinda come across a certain way is all,,

dk if it's just me but when ppl say the deadeye arc is their FAVORITE naddpod arc, it tends to confuse me.. like i just know brennan pays no rent in your brain, but favorite arc? to me, grimhawk is soooo anachronistic to the show at large, and to deem it as your darling is like, you're missing the point girlie girl (i am getting hives from bethany's twt poll 😭)
