Final Battle

ok so... I've got a lot to say about Benrey's Final Boss Fight in my Splatoon AU... I'll put it under the cut but take the time to read it pls :)

okay so here's how I think the final boss fight is going down:

so Gordon wants to leave the digital space and get back to his life, also 'free' everyone else from the digital space as well. They've all tried, of course, before, but have been stopped by Benrey.

Benrey is the one in control of the simulation, but if Gordon can seize that control from him, then he could possibly escape back to the real world and free the rest. In order to do this, Gordon needs to find several Terminals hidden around the digital space and shoot them with his ink (aka linking it to his DNA)

He fights Benrey by traversing up his body and avoiding the skeleton enemies to reach a launchpad that will take him to a terminal. Benrey sets up elaborate playspaces around the Terminals to try and hide them/convince Gordon to stop fighting and just be friends. But once he refuses, the objects in the space will try and trap him.

You progress until you find the shoot the terminal, then you're back at the main area and have to climb Benrey again to get somewhere else. This repeats until ALL terminals have been given over to Gordon and he is now In Control. With this, Benrey is finally shrunken back down to a normal size, glitching etc.

Then Gordon escapes back into the real world...

New hobby just dropped (new hobby has been brewing for the last 3+ years)

1: 64mo blank book, aka 1/64 of a letter sized piece of paper. Total 1.5 sheets, dimensions ~1x1.5 in.

2: progress pic, the 64mo textblock. second binder clip is an attempt to make something even smaller than a 64mo

3: progress pic, the 64mo cut and folded signatures, ready to be punched and sewn

4: sticker of my bindery logo, which I designed myself :) + quarto notebook bc I made the textblock forever ago as practice, started using it as a notebook, and then figured if I was gonna use it, I should put a hard cover on it. It currently serves as my reference guide (paper size, suppliers, margins, etc).

Anyways it's so over. I'll see you in hell (WIP list)

Try browsing throught witchblr and all you find is: ai generated "aesthetic" posts, same basic protection spells, 20 different tarot readings that are all about nothing else but "omg what will your soulmate be like", 20 different posts about glamour magic, etc...

Like, I feel like witchcraft, as much as I hate saying this, has become nothing but an aesthetic or at least has become so surface level that people treat it as if it was just like the "law of attraction"

There is no exploration of interesting concepts and creative spellmaking, wich sucks for anyone who is trying to delve deeper into witchcraft and diversify

yes!!!! thank you!!!!! id just love to see more variety and creativity in witchcraft posts, advanced or not. ive been trying to sorta do that with this blog? yk, like make posts whenever they come to mind about simple tricks that a witch at any “experience level” (not that its really that linear) could use? and to try and add some variety from the repetitive sort of posts that fill the witchy tags everywhere. idk. but id love if more people would make a larger variety of posts!! less correspondence lists, and “how to do [the same few basic topics]” over and over, uragh idk. and yes theres sooooo many aesthetic posts 💔💔 i think the biggest problem is the over-saturation of like new agey things, too, and THE AI IS SO BAD!! ive blocked multiple accounts that were just ai witchy aesthetic posts or long ai-generated textposts about random “witchcraft” topics. like i just want more variety in the genuine witchposting and less bullshit that has nothing to do with real witches in our tags 💔💔💔 more “exploration of interesting concepts and creative spellmaking” is EXACTLY what i want lol, THANK YOU!!! itd be so funnn. i saw this girl on tiktok the other day who wanted to curse a guy who hit her w his car, so she started by pulling tarot cards to get info on him since she didnt actually know him—which i thought was very smart—and the first ingredient in her spell jar was a toy car painted to look like his, which i also thought was very smart!! like thats not even an advanced practice at all, its just cool to see someone use something in a spell jar that you’ll never see on those unending correspondence lists that take up like 25% of every witchy tag lol. more creativity!!! more variety!!! more uniqueness!!!

I was thinking there aren't enough memes catered to third parties on this site (ex. two muses talking about a third) which imo make rp flow so much smoother sometimes bc it feels more realistic for interactions to not start & end at only the two people directly involved, but then I realized... blud, you have a meme sideblog. with the new "online safety act" I've got to flip my e-safety presentation massively because. well because the info is outdated and also just. huh. what about this is actually keeping kids safe. "give everyone your full id so you can stay online" firstly why the fuck should any online provider have access to your govt ID and second what 13y/o has id like that?? and if you oppose the osa you're no better than... jimmy saville?? I need to include the osa as it has come into effect and I go back into schools (well kids/youth clubs and scouts/brownies/guides etc) in 2 weeks. but what the fuck
