The sinnohs might as well be a foil to every major player in their whole story (Cynthia, Cyrus, Volo, TAO)
#i should rename kiku actually to go along with the sort of naming scheme/vibes the other three have going#i wanna give kiku and volo some weird dynamic .#like how Cynthia is almost obsessed with Cyrus maybe Volo is almost obsessed with Kiku#as Volo’s… thing with Arceus would probably make him relationship with Kiku funky#Kiku is just trying to vibe and help complete the pokedex for her ultimate goal (sharing the knowledge and love of the world they have)#but like. while Volo is trying to open up the akashic record to meet Arceus .#there’s something about Kiku that intrigues him… doesn’t help that Giratina is almost fixated on her too.#whispering to him unintelligible things about Kiku specifically .#something something the reason why Giratina got banished to the distortion world is due to least favorite child syndrome .#well lessso least favorite child and moreso just jealousy#jealousy over just how much arceus loves the adored one#and it’s only when the mark of arceus and Kiku’s possession of the legendary plate does this get revealed#(daughter of arceus moment)#but Volo is almost fixated on her compared to the sinnoh trio#it makes her uncomfortable . and makes her keep a closer eye on the sinnohs when around volo
