Hello, and no thanks. I realize I definitely should tag my reblogs but I am not gonna tag any post with "vore." I tag with the nsx/sfw tags and I have to, but there's a couple of dedicated tags and you might be better off just blocking people if that's gonna be a hassle, because I suspect that those other vore accs may also be nsx vore accounts.

The main v,ore tag is for the v,ore,are,philia folks, and since my art is nonsexual and I'm a minor I do my best to keep out of those tags for the convenience for those people and for my own sake. Those people obvi dont want minors in their community, they don't wanna follow+like what could be a minor's posts when they're looking for porn, and I don't want my posts to be seen as sexual - there's already wayyyyy too many sfw/nsx posts in the main tags and I am not going to join them, especially because I used to be one of 'em.

as someone who lives in PR, the outrage has mostly been about the fact that people believe they want to kill all the cats. that what they've talked about so far is "removing" them and most people know that as code for euthanizing. like is said in the article there is an organization feeding, spaying and neutering and tagging the cats. a plan that worked along with this organization to rehome the cats rather than a sudden, vague plan coming from people that have never before cared about the cats would probably appease people more. what the protesters are asking for is accountability, they demand to know what the ambiguous language they used means and want to ensure the protection of the cats. i completely agree that cats should be indoors bc it preserves their lives as well as native wildlife but PR is a colony and it is also an island with tourism as a main source of income with viejo san juan (place in question) being one of the most gentrified, touristy areas. so people dont believe they're doing it for the wildlife and cat's safety but to appease to tourists bc the cat park is smelly and they don't wanna clean it. i highly doubt if people didnt complain that they wouldn't just kill the cats

honestly I think I fall somewhere in the middle of the issue. yes, it is messed up to euthanize animals if it is solely being done for tourism’s sake. however, *many* TNR programs aren’t effective at reducing disease long term & they still pose the risk of spreading disease to wildlife and to each other. I can see why people are upset but cat colonies, even with human intervention, are hazardous for the cats themselves.

I came across this study that was conducted in 2018 and while it is brief and only one source on a large issue, I found it to be interesting.

Hi so I'm interested in getting into the Kingdom Hearts series but I dont know which games to start, which games to avoid, and whether or not some of the games are canon or not. Could you help me please?

So the best thing you could get if you want to get into the series is this. (ignore the price tag Amazon has on it you can buy it at Walmart for like $20). It includes every game/cutscene movie in the series (except for the mobile game and the recently released Melody of Memory). Either way its the perfect collection to get you caught up to speed (I got caught up back before this complete collection existed so back then there were two collections you had to buy before they compiled them into just one lol). Either way, it includes basically every single thing you’ll need to get the (almost) complete story of KH. When it comes to what you’ll want to experience with it, here’s my take on things (in order of how you should play/watch them and what they are in that collection): 

Kingdom Hearts (full game playable in the collection): Absolutely MUST play, its a great game and its story is the most simple in the series, very fun and charming and sets up some of the major characters (namely our main Destiny Trio) very nicely. Even if its not the first timeline wise, you’ll want to start with KH1 because of how it introduces the series and its concepts and characters in the most simplistic of ways

Chain of Memories (full game playable in collection, but honestly? I recommend just watching the cutscenes online its NOT fun to play through in my opinion): Again experience the story of this one at least. Its the direct sequel to KH1 and its where things start to get... kind of confusing. To fully understand what happens in this one, you may have to revisit it more than once, I’ve watched through it twice now and I’m still fucking baffled by a lot of it tbh but it sets up 2 so for that its worthwhile I guess?

358/2 Days (Cutscene Movie in collection); So you can watch all of the cutscenes in this one on the collection in a few hours. Its a pretty touching and emotional story focused on the Sea Salt Trio though it does have some... kind of confusing tangents in it too tbh. Either way its well worth the time to look into to learn more about certain characters, as well as the inner workings of Organization XIII

Kingdom Hearts 2 (full game playable in collection): MUST play, its fantastic tbh. Its often cited as the fandom’s favorite for a reason; it builds a TON on what KH1 set up, offers some really fun Disney worlds, and its plot is absolutely fucking batshit and I love that about it. Highly recommend this one for some of the character moments in it especially there are some really funny, really touching, and really heartbreaking scenes in this one, its a wild ride

Birth By Sleep (full game playable): MUST play though its kind of not that great to play in my opinion? Then again I suck at KH games so I might not be the best to ask in that regard XD Its story is great though, focusing on the Wayfinder trio and their absolute tragic backstory. Speaking of backstories, this a prequel, set like 10 years before KH1, something important to keep in mind going into it to avoid confusion (though you do see younger versions of some characters that show up in the “present” games so I suppose that helps lol)

Re:Coded (cutscene movie): Ugh... honestly? You can skip this one, it adds fucking nothing and its boring as hell to get through. If you really wanna sit through it, feel free to but its mostly a big old confusing waste of time if you ask me, one that doesn’t really add much to the story at all. 

Union Cross/KHX/Back Cover: Ok so this is where it gets really confusing. Union Cross is the KH mobile game which I don’t recommend playing because from what I’ve heard its very grindy and basically its “pay to win”; so instead, I recommend getting caught up on this one through watching the “cutscenes” or reading through a plot synopsis online; This is another prequel, set waaaaaay before any of the other games and it has some... stuff thats significant mostly for the sake of KH3 and whatever will likely come after it more than anything else; Its story is... fine. Confusing as hell, but fine. Back Cover is a movie that’s on that collection that tells the story of the Foretellers and its boring as shit but I would recommend at least knowing what happens in it to understand the story of the first Keyblade War. 

Dream Drop Distance (full game playable): Absolutely recommend this one, its a delight to play through and has a really fun (but also hella fucking confusing) story (confusing is a word thats very often used to describe KH for a reason XD); Its set after KH2  and follows Sora and Riku and its basically building up towards KH3 and elements that show up there. Again, highly recommend this one its one of my favorites of the bunch 

Fragmentary Passage (full game playable): Though that game is only like 2 hours long. This is sort of another prequel though its also set during KH1 and you play as Aqua, who I’m in love with :) It was kind of made as a KH3 tech demo and that’s why its so short but its pretty fun and its story is compelling enough to keep you going as it continues building the way towards 3

Kingdom Hearts 3 (full game playable): Absolutely play this one; I may have my problems with its story, but its a hella fun time gameplay wise and its story has... its moments where its not fucking stupid. Though some of it is fucking stupid and I just have to deal with that :) Anyway KH3 is the conclusion of what’s called the “dark seeker” arc, which is really just the arc where we have Xehanort and the Organization as antagonists, tho knowing this hell series I’m sure they’ll all fucking come back someday :P Anyway its the culmination of a lot of things throughout the series and while some ends aren’t tied up the best, others are beautifully here. Totes recommend even if I personally have a very love/hate relationship with it ^_^ 

Re:Mind (bonus online purchase): This isn’t a game but its KH3′s DLC and it likely isn’t included in that story so far set. It basically adds more onto KH3′s ending and sets up for whatever game will come next after it (and also sets up MoM) 

Melody of Memory (not included in set): The newest game in the series and a rhythm game at that; its largely just a recap of past games and their events, but the gameplay is really fun and addictive, plus KH music slaps. It does have about 15 minutes of brand new story content tacked onto the end of it, which again, is setting up for whatever game likely comes next, but if ya wanna skip it, I wouldn’t blame you, its waaaaaaay too expensive right now, I’d honestly just wait for a price drop :P 

Dark Road: This is another mobile game and it basically tells Master Xehanort’s backstory; I personally haven’t looked into this one because I don’t give a single fuck about that asshole’s history but ya can if you want more context into his character  I guess :/

And those are all the KH games. There’s a fucking lot of them and I hate them all. I also love them all. I basically love/hate this entire hell series,, so much so that I decided to write a shitty angst fic about it (which I highly recommend if you do actually go through all of the KH games, Keys to the Kingdom is basically an AU of KH3 and also sort of a “fix it fic” of sorts XD its a good, tragic time all around XD (forgive the shameless self promotion)) Anyway, enjoy the insanity that is KH!

34. Have you ever cried while writing a reply?

Oh god, so often! While reading and writing, ngl. I’m very attached to my muses (especially Rick feels like a part of my soul) and every pain they go through I feel, everytime they suffer, I suffer with them. And I also cried cause I was so happy for my muse when there was a certain happy ending or love confession etc. But I admit I’m a crybaby, I often cry (like Rick ��🏼‍♀️)

35. Do you read other people’s threads or do you only read your own?

It depends on the mood. I don’t search for other threads on purpose, but if I see something popping up my dashboard I read over it and if it’s interesting I read through the whole thread 👀 it often gives me inspiration and I’m always in absolute awe when I see what you guys create ♥︎

36. What’s one thing that other people seem to hate that doesn’t bother you?

Being “exclusive”. Don’t get me wrong, I hate being obsessive and demanding to be exclusive to anyone. BUT I personally don’t like to write with one character from different muns. That’s not because I don’t respect different portrayals, on the contrary I love there is variety. But as I mentioned a few times, I’m VERY attached to my muse (especially Rick) and feel everything he feels. For Rick it would be confusing to write with two different versions of a character cause it would feel like cheating for him, so it feels strange to me too. Besides that I as a mun have an absolute spaghetti brain so if I would write with for example five different Loris, I would totally mix up who I wrote which story with and which feelings Rick has towards that characterization 😂 I’m really horrible in that. I don’t mind different verses and love jumping between that, but I prefer to write with just one mun of a certain character. But again: if someone asks you to be exclusive to them, be careful. It’s just my personal preference to do it anyhow.

37. How do you feel about tagging triggers? Do you tag them? How do you determine what is triggering content and what isn’t?

I try to tag everything right, yes and I demand trigger tagging a lot. We all write different things, we all cope different, we all can deal with more or less angst and certain topics so I think it’s an absolute necessary for all our mental health’s to have a warning. I think any kind of nsfw is important to tag (even if I wouldn’t personally need it), every kind of questionable topic like self harm, sicknesses, suicide mentions, rape, etc is important to tag and also if you use Gifs think about the poor souls with epilepsy in certain cases! I personally don’t need a tag for sexual scenes or mentions of blood, but that doesn’t mean I’m not aware of the high possibility of triggering someone which I don’t wanna risk. We all have a responsibility to create a safe place here and we should watch each other’s safety for their sake and the community, not for us personally.

38. What advice would you give to someone new to rp?

Put up rules with your personal triggers and if you’re 18+, really it can save you from a lot of drama! Don’t care too much about how your page looks or is organized, but rules and a few words about your character and preferences should be in your profile so others dare to interact with you and know what they are dealing with. If you set everything up, don’t be shy! Search through rp topics of your interest, read through posts, watch and learn and then follow and write the people you wanna interact with. RP is wonderful, just stay respectful and always keep an eye on each other’s rules and preferences. And most of all: don’t be an ass. That goes for the case that someone doesn’t reply to your thread, doesn’t follow you back or answers others first. DONT BE AN ASS. We all have the same hobby and should cherish that fact instead of being stressful about it. It’s a hobby, not a job. Be good to each other and enjoy rp ♥︎

You Drive Me Crazy (Colt x MC)

PART ONE

Hey all! This is my first Colt fanfic ever and I’ve been wanting to write something for him for ages! This is the first chapter of the mini series, which will get interesting later on because this chapter is super fillerish. “How does your last teenage days feel?”

At the sound of Colt’s voice, Ellie jumped and turned quickly to face her friend, now standing in the doorway, smug smile on his face.

“You’ve scared me! I told you to knock!” She squealed throwing a pillow at him.

“I would if you finally learned to close the door, El,” he said looking around the room. “Preparing for college, I see?”

“Mhm,” she nodded, eyes focused on her giant to-do list.

“Yeah, what’s better to do on a Friday night, huh? Especially when your father is on a night shift. Packing sounds perfect,” he teased, peeking at the contents of Ellie’s suitcase.

She turned to him and narrowed her eyes. “I just don’t want to leave it for the last moment!”

“And where’s the fun in this?” Colt asked and Ellie rolled her eyes.

“How are we even friends?” She looked at him jumping on her bed, still in his dirty clothes and she fought the urge to tell him to get up and at least take off his shoes. It never worked though. Ever since she met Colt Kaneko over ten years ago she knew he was a complete opposite of her. The only thing they had in common was the situation with their fathers. 

Both Ellie and Colt couldn’t find a common language with their parents. Ellie’s father being a police officer was very protective of his daughter and rarely ever let her do anything she really wanted. Colt’s father, on the other hand, seemed not to care about his son at all. When still a young boy, Colt tried his best to get approval from his father but Teppei wasn’t exactly the kind of father who would pat his son on the back and say “good job, kiddo.” So Colt stopped trying. His life from then on was full of what he called “fun” and what Ellie called “stupidity.”

She was the perfect daughter who for her own father’s sake postponed going to college and stayed with him for a little bit longer when he didn’t feel his best. Her days consisted of studying, helping her father, meeting with the two friends she had, drawing and constant daydreaming.

His days were full of clubbing, different women he happily invited to his apartment, long drives on his beloved motorcycle and illegal races, but these were from time to time.

Ellie always teased him about his lifestyle and tried to act all “motherly” but Colt never listened to her, however he was glad to have at least one person who seemed to care about him.

Maybe this was what was drawing him to Ellie. She was so different yet she understood him like no other. And never judged him. She was his “safe haven” even though he could never admit this out loud.

“I’m gonna miss you when you’ll be in college,” he sighed playing with one of Ellie’s porcelain figures.

“You can always go back to college too. I’m sure they miss you after so many years of absence,” she smirked at him and he stuck out his tongue.

“It’s Friday night, El.”

“Hmm? Yes, I can see that,” she murmured, counting something and writing the numbers down.

“You should do something fun! I can take you--”

“Colt,” Ellie turned to him, “no offence but we have two different concepts of fun. I don’t like yours.”

“I just want you to live a little! You complain about feeling trapped in a cage but you don’t want to do anything outside your comfort zone!”

“It’s not that easy!”

“For example, you’ve always wanted a driver’s license? Tell me, what’s stopping you?”

“My father? You know what he thinks about it!”

“Ellie, you’ll be twenty in three days, why don’t you just stand up for yourself?”

“Well, I’m not you Colt!” she exclaimed and then added, whispering, “And I don’t want to lose my father.”

“You won’t--”

“Just drop it! Please, I have other things to think about right now,” she waved her hand and turned back to checking things off her to-do list. Colt was watching her with a forced disguise on his face. She was so stubborn... He had been trying to make her do more crazy things but he failed almost every single time. The only thing she ever agreed to was riding his motorcycle from time to time. And it was a huge success.

“You’re such a nun!” he finally spoke, teasing her as always.

“Says the American Don Juan!” Ellie teased back with a smile on her face. 

Finally, a smile!

“Wha-aat, me?!”

“You!” she chuckled, “You earned quite a reputation here. Especially after that situation with...what was her name? Alice? Alana? Amber?”

“Err...does it really matter?”

“I guess it doesn’t to you,” she sighed sadly and motioned her room. “I’m gonna spend the rest of the night preparing my stuff so if you don’t wanna help maybe you should go find a new girlfriend for the night.”

Colt stood up and hesitated a little before finally nodding. “Right, I guess I should go. See ya tomorrow, El!”

“Yeah...See you...”

“Wow, I can’t wait to meet her! You’ll see, a few meetings with me and she’ll forget about being all nice and proper!”

“Oh no, no! Don’t break my friend, Mona! She might seem boring but she’s still my friend,” Colt laughed, sitting next to his new collegue during the lunch break.

Ever since his father hired Mona, he finally felt like he had someone to talk to. Someone he could vibe with.

“I think she just needs some stimulus. Maybe going to college without her father will help?” Mona suggested and Colt smiled.

“Probably...”

“Why do you even care about it so much? It’s her life!” she took a sip of her drink and twisted her face as the sour taste filled her mouth.

Colt sighed, “I just want her to enjoy life. I see how miserable she is, I’m tired of her constantly complaining about it.”

“You can’t change her into you, Colt. If that’s what she really wants, her time will come eventually. You can’t speed up those things.”

Colt only grunted in response and Mona waited a few moments to ask another, more important in her opinion question.

“Do you...have a crush on her?” she started, suspiciously studying her new friend’s face.

“No! We’ve been friends forever and I don’t see her this way. Besides, she’d never want a guy like me...Nope.”

“Mhm,” Mona narrowed her eyes as if not believing what Colt just said. But what else could be said? It was all true, Colt wasn’t Ellie’s type. She always dreamed about a prince charming, about having a long-term, stable relationship. And Colt had never been in one. And didn’t know how to be in one either. And most surely, he wasn’t a prince charming. Lost in his thoughts, he suddenly realized Mona was talking to him this whole time.

“Hm?”

“I asked: when do I get to meet her? Is she organizing a birthday party I can crash?” Mona repeated trying hide the annoyance in her voice.

“Ha! Ellie has been to a party once and never again. She said it wasn’t her scene or something. No, she doesn’t have any plans for her birthday... unless... unless...”

“Unless what?” Mona asked impatiently but Colt only smirked and jumped up, startling her.

“I’ll tell you later, gotta go now!”

And without paying attention to Mona’s yells, he drove to Ellie’s house. She opened the door still in her pajamas but with make up on.

“What are you doing here?” she asked confused, letting him in.

“I have a proposition for you. And I don’t take ‘no’ for an answer.”

“Okay...Spill it!”

“I’m taking you on a birthday trip. Well, two days trip to be exact. But I promise it’ll be fun! And we can cross out some things off your bucket list, yes, I know you have one,” he shook his head not letting her interrupt, “we can jump off the cliff at midnight and do all these fancy stuff you’ve always wanted so that you can go to college and actually have something interesting to tell.”

“Jerk,” Ellie shoved him playfully but he grabbed her hand before she could hit him again. “I think Dad won’t mind, he has a night shift anyway. But as for me...Two days with you seems like too much. And what will you do without your girlfriends? What will they do!” she teased him as he rolled her eyes, still holding her hand.

“They’ll survive. So what, do we have a deal?”

“I don’t know...”

“Come on, El! I promise you’ll have lots of fun!”

“Ugh, fine! But we’re staying in a hotel, not in a tent like last time!”

“Yes ma’am! Great! See you then!” Colt hopped on his motorcycle, grinning and mentally planning everything for Ellie’s birthday trip.
