just realized that if we follow the schema of the meet the team videos release dates being their birthdays, scouts birthday is the same as my sisters... which also happens to be 6 days before mine 😭 even in 1960's new mexico i can't escape the april birthday gauntlet

#the yapper #when it comes to self insert lore i like to have Some approximation of my irl family in there in spite of how um. not great they are #mostly just because it's hard to conceive of a version of myself Without those experiences #but my sister is far and away the most chill living person in my family #so i think fossey regards vir sister similarly #and when scout offhandedly mentions his birthday she's immediately like ''oh! same as my sisters!'' and then notes the 6 day gap #i think its one of the first things to really endear fossey to him #which is very important given that their depression-induced paranoia was at an all time high #meanwhile scout is just like Oh great i gotta share a birthday month now 🙄#(he doesn't care. he will just be very obnoxious about being Three years older instead of Two for that 5 day period between their birthdays)#AND IN FAIRNESS it's not as bad as it is irl because my MOM'S birthday is in between mine and my sister's
