trying to talk to my mom abt college and shes kinda giving me advice but i dont think she gets my problem…
#i wanna study like. something in math or data science or biomedical engineering#or not want to its like.. im good at it and ik i could get a well paying job in those fields#and when i look at these majors in colleges all i do is see what they offer and how theyre ranked statewide/nationwide#but when i look at music production and music technology programs i look at all the courses they offer#but i dont want to sacrifice a comfortable life where i can support myself and family just to do something i want#i would feel selfish bc im really big on being able to support my family and give back to them#more than the rest of my friends are#and like. i can definitely handle the rigor and difficultly level of those other fields i mentioned. thats not the problem at all
