i might rb this later but i do want to make it clear that i'm cool with pretty much everything being turned into a thread, especially asks from prompts i've rb'ed... i try to write those open-ended enough so they CAN be threads, but u can also just save them/move on, whatever, if you want.

also, there's not really a point where i stop accepting asks for a meme or anything. i do sometimes delete memes from my blog if i've reblogged a bunch with no posts to separate them or if they get no replies for quite a while.

i think i'm realizing i do better with coming up with replies to action-/emoji-based memes than sentence-starter memes so i'll probably be reblogging more of those. i luv random, non-meme stuff in my inbox.

but tbh i do think the best way to start rping with me is either sending in something spur of the moment or plotting with me on discord. if we're mutuals and u want my discord info then let me knowwwwww.

ANYTHING ELSE: joo!!!! my looooooove thank you for sending this in . i actually have … so many thoughts about these two fndsjnsdkjsd already the fact that they are both so similar is really interesting to me . they are both the big fight first ask questions later type of people . they are very hot headed stubborn people . zoya a little bit less i'd say because i think she is more of a team player than 99 and by default that makes her a little easier to reason with .

i think what would make a potential ship so great with these two is that it's so unexpected . they share a lot of interests like biking , keeping in shape , wanting to fiercely protect those close to them . these things make it so zoya and 99 have a very easy time mutually understanding each other . the way i can see this working is some kind of secret-ish relationship that they indulge in whenever they see each other back before 99 is with the MBCC at first . since 99 was a mercenary that frequented syndicate a lot , i can see that they have definitely crossed paths before and maybe even worked with each other . so i think giving them some history is a good way of fleshing out a potential ship .

when 99 is with the MBCC , i could see their potential relationship being more ‘ open ’ and long distance . they care about each other and their safety but at the same time , their paths have diverged and cannot always be together . this makes the times when they do finally meet up all the more sweet though! the build up to this though i can see being funny and interesting since they're both so stubborn fdnjsfnks 99 is going to be very taken aback by her developing attachment but she is the type of person that can't help but pursue it. she isn't the ‘ run away ’ from your feelings type and more of a ‘ just dive in and learn later ’ kind of person. let me know what you think!

anything else i want you to know about me / my character / my shipping habits: seph and iako are such a unique duo like... i don't think i've ever written a dynamic quite like this one and i'm very excited about it?? generally the best way to get to seph's heart is to stick your neck out for them / put your life on the line for them even when you don't have to, because it contradicts the narrative that they tell themself about humanity.

it helps that she has a soft spot for other femmes and felt protective the instant she met iako for reasons she could not explain if she tried. i think... seph's boss is going to have a problem with it if/when seph does develop feelings, especially if iako's faction is opposed to the unseen but even if it's not — she's an attachment, and they worked very very hard to make sure seph had none of those (that weren't also under his thumb and therefore another point of control.)

that's later down the line though. for now, i love the idea of forced proximity / them constantly going head-to-head and kicking the shit out of each other until they're forced to bond for some reason or another.... fight back to back.... protect each other..... they're a two-dog pack with no leader. let's put them in danger—

experience: i turn to dust whenever i see this because I don't even know, what is the concept of time. I started with an indie blog for an oc, moved on to groups since i felt i never fit in the more indie space, before taking a break i tried indie again but then decided just to take a break in general from writing. Later I joined a group and for like 4 years I think (3??) I was in groups and really enjoyed it but somewhere along the way it started becoming too much and now I'm back in indie.

preferred roleplay type: oh i have no idea. I like paras usually either small or medium, I can never really write longer ones but sometimes inspiration does strike! I also like texts :)

pet peeves & dealbreakers: when its clear the person hasn't read the rules, just skim them that's fine I do that sometimes but at least take a look before replying they are there for a reason (depending this can be a dealbreaker, mostly there is one rule I have that seems to go ignored at times especially), misgendering my muses i don't mind when it happens once , it does break my heart a little when its open starters and its there, usually i'll point it out but if its something that continues happening than I just can't, I'm always careful to check others muses.

plots or memes: both :) I enjoy just having an idea of a plot and see where it goes

best time to write: i'm not sure actually.

are you like your muse?: not really but there are themes that I like exploring that are a bit like me, mostly the theme of loneliness which is more prevalent with henry I think even if we have nothing in common xD

I love the idea of them being enemies to lovers—or even lovers to enemies, and eventually, enemies with benefits. Both come from the criminal underworld, which would bring so much tension and unspoken desire between them. That alone makes his mouth water. There could even be an assassination attempt. The toxicity of their relationship really draws me in. And even though it’s toxic… oh, Nastka… this man would worship Kisumi. He’d adore that fox, pray to him every day, to later beg to be made a sinner every night.

would i rather plot first or jump right in and see where it goes?: develop their relationship first | jump right in | something in between ( AHH, hello, hello, eulalie! how nice it is to see you :) thank you very much for sending me one of these prompts, my friend!! i always get so thrilled whenever someone is interested in potentially shipping with me tbh. but anyhow... whenever it comes to shipping, i usually sort - of like to do a blend of plotting and jumping into things, so you + others may notice a pattern in this aspect haha. let me just say to start that i believe maybe discussing the dynamic between thana and barton further / getting more of an idea of what kind of ship we'd both like to see in them in would probably help us in the long run to drop things + make the most out of our interactions so that's part of why i chose this option (: though yeah, you may notice that i selected some maybe's (in italics) and some things i could definitely see between them (in bold). and i guess i got kind of inspired by just,, thinking about how they might successfully become a ship in the first place, because i know that you were talking about how you believe thana could match barton's freak (and i love that for them LOL), but the fake relationship / dating thing is MMM. it's really speaking to me right now personally but i would loveee something forced proximity between them too and/or slow-burn is always good. and i was thinking, but of course this is just an idea and nothing is set in stone, that if you wanted to go the fake relationship route... it could be because either barton's ex 'doesn't understand that it's over between them' as he'd probably say so he tells them that he's already got somebody new and that is actually... thana, his friend, who is pretending to be his partner or vice versa. so yeah. that's just my two cents on that, though. i also could sort of imagine a firstly unrequited love on barton's side [like, barton liking thana, but them not liking him back] that might later develop into them liking them back but once again... these are just ideas that i'm throwing out there.)

anything else i want you to know about me / my character / my shipping habits: ( okay, let's goooo / j lmaooo i kid, i kid! but first thing i wanna highlight here is that, i'm not sure if i mentioned this in the convo's that we've had already, but whenever barton falls for someone... he falls really hard and i'm talking about 'love as consumption' hard 💀 so, although barton would never EVER want to do anything to make someone feel like they have to be in a relationship with him, he may seem just a little bit clingy / possibly more physically affectionate than usual [not in a creepy way, though. i mean that he'd probably just be looking for excuses to like touch their shoulder maybe or might actually try asking thana if he could hug them, which is actually SUPER rare for him] with thana. and this isn't really either a good thing or a bad thing so much as it is something that just exists. though, the whole 'love as consumption' thing where he wants to crawl into his loved one's skin is definitely leaning more on the bad side of things because it is an unhealthy way to love someone, to say the least JSJSJ though barton certainly isn't the pinnacle of health or anything so he probably wouldn't even care if someone pointed this out to him ngl lmaooo.

but yeah, i just thought i'd bring that up and also, concerning what you wrote about thana taking time to open up to someone... it may not seem like it BUT barton is very much willing to be patient in regards to this. because i mean, he has conflicts with navigating his emotions himself, so i feel like he could kind of understand where they're coming from with this — you know? because being vulnerable is opening yourself up to rejection and such at the same time as it being freeing / allowing you to build up trust in your relationships. so, i assure you that no matter what kind of potential ship they could have, that barton wouldn't be an arsehole to them in this way or in any way if he could help it.

the man treats his romantic partners rather well most of the time, after all, because like i said; they are someone that barton may admittedly be a bit unhealthily attached to ahahhh. but i'm sure they'd get along just splendidly especially if thana themselves are a participant of the 'love as consumption' trope. though i think that's all i have to say regarding his character itself for now! i'll give you a little brief overview of my shipping habits, though, now because i feel like it might be important. i am pretty flexible whenever it comes to ships so if there was something that you had in mind for them that is or isn't on here, but i didn't bold / italicize for some reason, then i totally encourage you to let me know! and absolutely tell me your thoughts about my answers if you'd like in IM's or on disc if you'd like.

People who don't understand explaining why a villain does bad things does not mean I think it was right. People who refuse to admit that Anakin Skywalker is a HUGE part of Star Wars. People who want to make tragedies happy. People who can't accept that some people like canon.

EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS?: Um well, I started rping a soap opera on invisionfree in 2007, Tumblr in 2011 and indie rping in 2016. I have played Glee characters, The Vampire Diaries, tons of time in the Marauders Era of Harry Potter, Sons of Anarchy, Game of Thrones, Vikings, Versailles, Star Wars, American Horror Story, The Umbrella Academy, One Tree Hill, and I'm sure I'm missing some. I don't write many OC's. I had one in the Marauders Era, but really, that's it. I've also adminned probably 20 tumblr RPs, had 4 last over 2 years. I messed around with indie a tiny bit in 2013, but I hated the idea of switching to icons so I refused until there were no SOA rps and I made an Indie Jax Teller.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT?: Angst and Smut and angsty smut. Fluff, it has to be the right ship and I do better if I have an angsty thread too. I can do more fluff with a ship like Naley than most of my others.

PLOTS OR MEMES?: Both. I am honestly up for either one, depending on my mood. If your meme sits too long and you want to plot, just message me.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: I can write anywhere from 2-40 paragraphs. I'll do one for the write person. But, I don't do sentence replies. I really have some people and characters, I can write novels on.

TIME TO WRITE?: Um lately, I've been trying to more. School kicks my ass. I'm in my Senior Year for my Bachelor's in Education and even though it's going to last 2 years, I have all the classes I put off. But, I have been trying to do at least five a day. Like right now, I have no replies to do. I have starters but no replies. If I get back on the right sleep pattern, I can crank out 30 replies at 7am. Other than the last two weeks, I can reply a lot on Discord.

so i'm not gonna answer the intimidation memes, it really and truly was more about figuring out if ye find me intimidating! so i wanna clarify some stuff here now, in this neat little post, bc i tend to make these kinds of posts via my prompt blog as a psa, and it gets a little lost out there, so this is my personal post abt this:

i know we know that "mutual means we wanna write with each other". but i also know that sometimes sending a meme feels scary as all hell, and replying to an open might as well be submitting a major thesis without proofreading it, and god forbid we ever comment on a post in case "we get judged".

but here's the thing. i might suck at answering stuff. i definitely suck at remembering to answer things, which leads to me thinking that i did (yk, when u get a starter or a prompt or a message, and ur a little busy, so u mentally construct a message, and u put the phone down, and then ten minutes later u convinced urself that u actually did? YEAH.)

BUT!

if i ever forget to reply, u can literally just send me a tiktok reel or smth that made u laugh or smile, and i'll get back to u. u can double text me, idc! i'm forgetful, that's literally my biggest flaw. i think. i forget the others. joking, ANYWAY! i'm gonna explain a final few points and disappear, okay?

first, when i say things like "aisling shows up on ur muse's doorstep with cookies, what are they doing?", or those kind of "what would they do?" prompts, that's literally me offering a low-energy-low-spoons way of building up a little dynamic. like, here's smth aisling would do. u respond with smth ur muse would do. we have a lil smth cooking, yk?

secondly, the open starters? no expiration date, babes, u can answer those whenever u want!

u wanna plot with me? pls feel free! i won't bite! i'll literally just gaslight myself into thinking i answered ur texts!

memes? no expiration date again, mes amis, i just ask that u add the lines for the actions and symbols ones, yk? just in case i forget to answer it, i'm a fecker with the inbox!

finally. if u are scared of me, u don't need to be. i'm going to start posting daily lists of the stupid stuff i did to make ye see that i'm not scary. and i'm gonna keep doing it, bc the logic of us being mutuals and not writing and being friends? not present. i'm gonna keep u all updated with the silly shite i do on a daily basis and prove that i'm too much of a goose to be feared!

A quick introduction to Public Calls (and Open Starters).

We already have self-advertising and search posts on the FakeVZ Blog which is great, but adding to this by being pro active with your own blog certainly won't hurt and can attract new writers even more. Public calls are small posts which encourage your followers/mutuals to interact with. Calls and starters can be restricted via "mutuals only" rules though, always pay attention to this. Open starters are self explanatory: Texts posted publicly on your blog that others can reply to without needing to plot beforehand or ask for permission to do so. You should tag this text as "open starter" to prevent misunderstandings. Starters written for a specific person are "closed starters" or "plotted starters". First contact in FakeVZ is usually made by dm-ing each other but some people don't feel too comfortable about this. Calls and starters offer different and alternative ways to get something going. Writing in dms often comes subsequently and can feel less forced when initiated via public call. The term "multis please specify" addresses multi-muse blogs btw. but FakeVZ members are almost 100% single-muse blogs. Feel free to copy and paste some of the following examples for your blog if you want.

Like this post for a starter. (Starter Call. You write a few in-character lines (or a lot) to the people who liked the post and tag them in your posts, or they might miss out on it.)

Like this post and I reply to one of your starters. (Reverse Starter Call. Only works when others have opens on their blogs available. Reblog the starter to reply or make a new post with your reply and tag the person.)

Like this post if you want to plot. (Plotting Call. You reach out via dms to people who liked the post. People who liked agree to plot/work on a story-idea ooc with each other. If you have a strict "no pb/no mun/always in character" rule this type of call isn't for you.)

Like this post and I'll go through your wishlist. (Reverse plotting call. You pick an idea from someone's plot-wishlist that you find intriguing.)

Dropping my [Inbox Tag] here, always accepting. (Inbox call. Of course you have to have at least one available meme/prompt on your blog and a certain tag for those to make this call work. "Always accepting" means that prompts don't expire, no matter when they were posted. Some prompts can be an exception to this, e.g. seasonal memes or ooc memes. You can limit those by stating in your later replies that you are "no longer accepting".)

Like this post if you want to receive memes. (Reverse inbox call. You go through other people's inbox tags and send them stuff.)

I think most of these calls can be tweaked for FakeVZ needs, for example "Like this post for smalltalk.", "Like this post and I send a starter to your dms." You can add "specify language" if you write both german and english, etc. Generally, public calls and open starters can help with easing anxiety about contacting someone.
