do you have any kind of update to the radioactive plate? just curious couldn’t find one

Unfortunately I don't have an update for you! I'm still waiting on the university equipment to be repaired so that I can have the plate (and now a few other much more concerning pieces) tested to find out more information. My best guess atm is its a weird uranium glaze painted on to a lead plate, but I still dont know for sure or what its origin is. I'm trying to save up for a radiacode to get some idea what it could be beforehand, and I'll make a post about the plate again and the other pieces as soon as I know more. Thanks for the ask!

#cursed plate #my collection #asks #uranium #radiation #i'm looking forward to sharing information about a completely different Radioactive Artifact #but that one concerned a local nuclear physicist i know so its now in secure storage till it can be determined WHY its spicy #(it is an item that should in no way be spicy and may be contaminated by an orphan source or something)#but yay the equipment is So Functional /s and so we are STILL waiting on the university to repair things #radiacode looks more likely in the short term #i am very surprised its not more of a priority but i guess nz just falls into that box of we dont really Do nuclear much besides medicine
