So instead of sleeping, I wrote this to my dream parenting!AU

Aemond is this one, who is most outraged about the rumors about the ancestry of her older sister's children and takes it as a personal attack. Because… because he has very personal reasons!

For the first time, Aemond hears whispers from the maids shortly after Luke's birth. It's an incoherent ‘princess's children,’ ‘dark hair,’ ’strong‘ and, what makes him clench his fists, ‘bastards’. He goes to Aegon and retells what he has heard, but his brother shrugs lightly and says to ignore the ‘chatter of stupid laundresses because our nephews are Targaryens and nothing else matters’.

But Aemond is not willing to accept this. He doesn't want to hear a single insulting word about his sister and her children. Especially little Luke. Not after he's been waiting so incredibly long for him to appear!

The fact is that when Daeron and Jace were born, he was still too young, and so they ‘belonged’ to Aegon from the beginning. Helaena belonged… to her own world, and Aemond… he belonged to no one and no one belonged to him, not even the dragon.

But one evening, as usual, Rhaenyra came to say goodnight and revealed that a new member would soon be joining the family. From that moment on, Aemond knew that he would soon no longer be alone.

He was patient and impatient at the same time. On the day his youngest nephew was born, for the first time in his life, Aemond ran away from his classes and hid in the corridor, not far from Rhaenyra's chambers. Until a deafening baby cry reached his ears, and he followed the sound as if enchanted.

The midwives and maids were bustling around, but no one noticed the little boy slipping into the room. Everyone's attention was on the princess, and it was understandable - Rhaenyra looked exhausted. But all of Aemond's attention at that moment belonged to a small screaming bundle in the arms of one of the women. Aemond needed to see it. Aemond must see it!

‘A healthy boy, Your Highness!’ someone said as he handed Rhaenyra the bundle.’

Oh… Aemond must see the boy!

But for some reason his legs did not move, he was literally frozen and could not take one step. A terrible thought crossed his mind: what if nothing changes anyway? Aemond was supposed to have his own dragon, an egg was put in his cradle, but the dragon never appeared, and the egg turned into stone. So, the appearance of this boy does not mean that he will want to belong to Aemond and that Aemond will belong to him.

But he didn't have time to go deeper into his fear, because at that moment Sir Laenor almost tripped over him as he ran into his wife's chambers. But the knight stopped in time and gently held Aemond.

‘Oh, Aem, kiddo, what are you doing here? Have you come to meet your new nephew?’

Aemond nodded uncertainly in response. Laenor smiled back at him and put out his hand.

‘Then let's go!’

The two of them walked over to his sister's bed and Laenor pulled him onto the edge. When Aemond cautiously moved closer, Rhaenyra looked up at him and asked with a gentle smile:

‘Do you want to welcome us, little brother?’

Once again, he could only nod in the affirmative, and she turned the still sobbing baby towards him.

‘Then say hello to our sweet boy. His name will be Lucerys.‘

And then this happened. The crown of the baby's head peeked out from the open blanket, with its sparse dark hair. As soon as Aemond dared to reach out and pull back the edge of the blanket to get a better look, his finger was gripped incredibly tightly by a very small hand. He felt as if his heart had skipped a beat. But the child stopped crying.

And as he looked into the dark eyes of the tiny, round, red face, Aemond realized that at least some of his fears were unfounded.

He really wasn't no longer alone. And he will at all costs protect, defend and cherish his sweet Lucerys!

turbo is connected to the last piece of his code in the whole arcade - a trophy he gifted to felix in mid 80s as a symbol of him genuinely caring about their relationships on par with being the best racer. felix also gave him one of his medals and both kept their gifts next to other rewards, but when roadblasters and turbotime were unplugged, the medal was gone with everything else

now, after burning in cola-lava turbo is basically dead, but scraps of his code still were intertwined with the trophy (after all, it was his first winner's cup, but felix never knew about it), giving turbo an opportunity to exist as a shadow incapable of interacting with anything and anyone besides felix, who kept the trophy even after the roadblasters incident

in episode 36, touga and saionji went on a bike ride. with the knowledge that this took place after the nanami duel (episode 32), where she was subjected to the unblemished and violent truth of her relationship with touga and who he was as a person, the fact that saionji was wearing a yellow helmet here, a colour associated with nanami, is interesting. touga wore his signature colour, red. perhaps saionji willingly filled touga's void by being a stand-in for nanami after the siblings' fallout.

from episode 34 onwards, we saw that these two spent more time together and, in a way, were closer than before. in that episode, touga waited for saionji so they could spar, as a preparation for touga's upcoming duel with utena. in episode 35, touga approached saionji, who was practicing alone in the dojo, and asked if he'd spar with him. later, they had a heart-to-heart conversation at the student council spot, where saionji questioned touga's beliefs. in these instances, it would seem that touga was almost desperately seeking out saionji for whatever reason he had. we know beforehand that touga fostered nanami's dependency on him over the years to feed his need for power and control over others (these manifested as the results of his sexual abuse by the kiryuu adoptive parents), at least over another person. with nanami out of the picture for good, this feedback loop is broken, and he's left alone. hence, he pursued the only other person he was close to, and the only one who'd respond in kind. saionji, on the other hand, can be said to have a soft spot for touga, with him being his only friend since childhood. despite his open disdain for touga, he'd always go back to him. in a way, he's similar to juri in this regard. their actions betray their words. but a distinct difference between them: juri tried to move on from shiori, but saionji kept coming back to touga. we could interpret his disdain as being born out of obligated care for him.

in episode 36, after the bike ride, they met up at the student council spot to discuss touga's decision on whether he'd duel utena or otherwise. then, after losing to her, they laid down on the duelling arena where touga affirmed saionji that it's not over for them and that they'd see till the very end. in episode 37, touga and saionji rode a stationary bicycle at the student council spot. later, saionji joined touga to meet up with akio in his room; together in damnation. it's like they were back to being good friends like in the old days. saionji, who urged that they should rise from their coffins, accompanied touga to be sexually assaulted by akio. if he couldn't save him, then he'd go to hell with him.

addendum: my brilliant oomf @tasaq pointed out that saionji wasn't even wearing the helmet, which could indicate that he either couldn't or refused to fully fill nanami's role. or perhaps he was being reckless.

the end of episode 39 showed the two of them sparring and having a playful banter about saionji trying to catch up on his lessons. on the other hand, nanami prepared tea for all three of them. it is a hopeful conclusion; there is hope to rise from their coffins and leave altogether.

Like two puzzles pieces, you and him were made for each other. He needed you, and you needed him. Or well so he thought. But it didn't matter what you thought, after all your the one who's tied up.

Glisten thought as he studied you in your bound state. "You understand why I had to do this right?" He said as he fiddled with the light pink ribbon he had tied you with. It was the same he wore, you looked perfect with it. You looked perfect with.. him.

Your muffled cries were ignored as he caressed your face with a loving look on his face. "You just kept giving others your attention, it's was so annoying. Your eyes belong to me, why would you wanna stare at anyone else??" He said looking at you with an annoyed look on his face.

"Atleast that wont be a problem anymore, now you will only look at me." He said caressing your face only to be interrupted by you turning your head away from him and squirming trying to get away. Letting out a heavy sigh and forcing you to look at him "Stop being such a brat! Or that pretty face will be adorned with bruises." He said looking at you angrily.

You quickly stopped not wanting to be hurt more than you already were, after all you thought that glisten was your friend, someone you could trust. You wished you could've known, maybe that would've saved you from this fate. "Good girl. You can't run from me... literally." He said laughing at his own joke "Because no matter how far you go, I'll always find you." He said holding your face with both of his hands.

Oh he loved you so much, he would do anything for you. He yearned for you. He could never get enough of you. He wished you loved him as much as he loved you, hopefully eventually you'll get used to being with him. Because you would never leave. You were made for him, you were where you belong. So you will stay perfectly with him, forever.

I think 9-1-1 really messed up with the back half of this season (and by that I mean the last like 4-5 episodes). This season had so many things going for it in terms of character arcs, and potential future storylines, and they disregarded pretty much all of it.

Before lab rats they had set up almost all of the characters with something for the season, and after they just dropped all of them??? For example Eddie’s whole choosing joy thing, and learning how to stand up for himself and what he wants, totally lost in the last few episodes because he learned that what he had chosen to do to get his son back and repair that relationship was wrong. Which like yeah Eddie really should have moved them back sooner and he belongs at the 118 with his family, but he should have realized that for himself, with some input from Chris, so we really get to see how their relationship has healed and how choosing joy helps that. But we got none of that.

Also we get barely anything from Maddie or Hen in the back half even though Maddie was set up to be worried about her pregnancy and how her most recent NDE affected her. And with Hen, they did such a poor job in showing us anything about her grief over Bobby, and the only real character moment we got from her was her turning down Captain, something that has been set up for her for a long time. Don’t get me wrong I think Chimney has grown a lot since the last time we saw him as captain and I think he would be great as Captain now especially after the last episode, but to basically take the position from Hen, when that is where all the signs have been pointing for so long kind of sucks.

As for Ravi, while I am so glad he is finally a main it feels like they didn’t give him anything this last bit. The climax of his arc was obviously him going to commit treason for the 118, which I was ecstatic about cause he is so apart of the family, but after Bobby died we didn’t see any of him mourning, or really bonding with the rest of them to cement that bond, even though we know he is truly part of the family of the 118 mains. I just wish we had gotten more time with him outside of the emergencies.

Don’t even get me started on Buck. Buck is my favorite and it just feels like we were strung along this season in terms of anything to do with Buck and his relationships, especially concerning his bisexuality.

Next Athena. I love Athena and I hate how much hurt she has gone through, especially considering this is the third time we have seen her grieve a relationship, and her future with that person. There was no need to put her through that again. We’ve seen her figure out a new future with Bobby after Michael came out, and we’ve seen her grieve over Emmett, the loss of their future together, and the loss of their past. Obviously with each of these she grieved differently and each of her relationships here were different, but with the way this show works they don’t show that very well, so they are comparable because they don’t show all of the complexities when it comes to her relationship and how she grieved differently. It just feel’s reused. Not to say that Angela Bassett didn’t do an amazing job with her performance because she did, but the show itself was the problem here.

There are so many things I can say about Chimney here. I do like how in the last episodes they gave him the arc that will make him captain, even though as I stated previously, I think it should have gone to Hen, because I do think he has changed and grown since the last time we saw him as captain, and I do think he will be good for that. However, I still think they really botched him after Bobby’s death. Especially considering both he and Maddie had NDEs this season. That could have created such a good partnering arc to her about how they feel about that. That could have been something serious for them to consider, about their futures, and just an amazing point to see more of their relationship. I don’t really remember if they gave him a clearer arc earlier in the series that they just gave up on otherwise I would touch on that as well.

Now for Bobby. I hate that they killed him off, especially in a way where he sacrificed himself. They took a character who was suicidal for a long time, who was finally able to be ready to live and live happily and they killed him in a self-sacrificing manner. I cannot repeat this enough. It feels like such a slap in the face to both the character and to anyone who related to his character in this way. I’m so upset about it. I probably would have been upset no matter how he died, but this is bullshit. He was finally ready to live and be happy with his family that he built, and they took that away. There are other ways they could have changed to show go let him live while still moving some else into the spot of captain, because I agree l that I think the show did need a change in that way, because they arcs and the way the show has progressed was calling for it, but I think there were better ways. I know it would have been out of character for Bobby to step down, or to retire without something huge happening, but I think maybe if they had just made so he had no choice, like an extreme injury(I know what show I’m talking about here but still), or something, where he could still be there for his family, and be happy, and grow old with Athena would have been better instead of killing him off. Also his entire send off felt extremely rushed, disappointing, and disrespectful to both the character and the actor.

Didn't really touch on any of the side characters here, but I get why we didn't really see many in the back half cause there was so much going on, but I missed some of them, and would have loved to see more of them, and also show how they were effected by Bobby's death.

As for the fans, I think it was an entirely disrespectful end to this season. Breaking promises that have been made in the past about killing off mains, hyping up things they definitely did not happen this season to increase engagement, queerbaiting(because yes they did fucking queerbait with Buck and Eddie, and they know they did, having a full episode about how Buck feels about Eddie, putting them in Buzzfeed together, and literally calling them Buddie in tweets and promotional things). I can’t speak for everyone but I can say for damn sure that this has broken my trust in 9-1-1 forever. There is literally nothing they can do to regain my trust. I'm pissed as hell. At this point I don't think I will be watching season 9. There are a few things that might change my mind if I happen to see them when it comes out, however this will not be the same as regaining my trust. Honestly, if I do go back and they do pull more of the bullshit we saw this season, I will not be continuing the show at all, which is a shame considering this show has so much potential (that is unfortunately so often wasted).

About the 2025 rumors: "All those rumors circulating about Franco signing for a seat are 100% not true. There isn't anything signed. For now Franco is a Williams driver, we have 3 races left with them and at the moment we're in Williams. It's so sad seeing people dismiss Symbrock as a Canon ship. These two call each other "Love" and "Sweetheart." These two celebrate valentines together. These two have like 5 children together. Venom gave Eddie cancer at one point so he wouldn't break up with him! ( a little bit toxic but okay). And I' not even mentioning the fact that symbiots feed on the substane from the brain that's responsible for feeling love (which is why Venom can eat chocolate) and that suggest the only reason Eddie is alive is becouse he's so gay for that stupid husband of his to feed him properly

Now that that's said, I also have a little bit of a rarepair that is a throuple of them with deadpool. Like, dude is an infinite food glitch genuinely. They wouldn't have to worry about all that cannibalism stuff. Also, let's face it,Wade is the last person to mind getting freaky with an alien.

And even if they weren't together, Deadpool could be an amazing babysitter. He would have so much fun causing chaos with Sleeper and probably let the other ones go all out. He would be the favourite cool uncle.

My take on bottom!Will Solace

I've seen some people here on Tumblr sharing their opinion on bottom!Will, and I won't lie and say I have pretty mixed feelings about it. Let me explain.

I absolutely LOVE the concept of Will just letting himself feel and surrendering to Nico (or whoever you ship him with). Letting himself take without being in control and finally being able to lift at least some of the weight he carries off his shoulders. I love Will Solace as a character and I think that his trauma is really important to him as a person and as Nico's (or, again, whoever you ship him with) boyfriend.

What I don't agree with, however, is how easily le falls apart like that. I'm not saying that since he doesn't let Nico take control in that way then he doesn't love or trust him any less. (Anzi, he probably even beats himself for it). I just think that it's not "in character" with Will Solace, if it makes any sense.

I totally see Nico and Will being switches in the future and when they mature and grow up, but I genuinely can't picture Will Solace surrendering after years of being in control, be it even against his will (accidental pun very much intended).

(I, for example, have noticed that I trust maybe three people in total, and even around them I can't seem to let my guard down. It's not even about them as actual people, it's just that I've been so used to having the reins in my hands that I legitimately don't know how to pass them to someone else.

My point is, I don't consider this thing about me as something generated from a particularly traumatic event, and I don't think my parents have to do anything with it. I just... Don't know any different. And I live a normal, not majorly deadly life.)

So I can't imagine Will Solace giving out that kind of trust that easily. That boy's trauma is rooted deep in his bones like the Burj Khalifa is rooted to the desert. That boy has been single-handedly running an infirmary for idiot demigods and a whole ass cabin (which, fair, was almost empty, but you know what I mean) since he was thirteen, right after almost all of the Apollo cabin got wiped out so disastrously (I'm pretty sure that's not even a word but I can't be bothered to stop now) that it went down from second most populated to rivalling with the Big Three's cabins in emptiness.

No, Will Solace would NOT let anyone take matters in their own hands if he could help it at all. It would take years to get him to even try bottoming.

And I didn't even talk about his insecurities here.

The first time Voldemort realises he is preoccupied by Harry Potter, he dismisses it as a temporary obsession, an effect of the prophecy’s weight hanging over them both. He reasons that it is only natural to feel that connection, that persistent pull of fate that entwines them. But over time, he finds himself lingering on details that have nothing to do with power, prophecy, or survival.

He notices the way Harry stands, shoulders squared as if ready to take on the entire world with that endless courage. The way he meets Voldemort’s eyes with a gaze that burns with conviction and resentment—a fire even the Dark Lord can appreciate. He observes the shadows under Harry’s eyes, the exhaustion and strain he hides with an almost maddening determination.

At night, when silence blankets his surroundings and the shadows seem to close in, Voldemort entertains himself by wondering how such a fragile-seeming figure holds such relentless strength.

It’s during these quiet moments that Voldemort’s imaginations tend to run wild… and he, in turn, tends to run indulgent.

“Imagine,” he murmurs into the near-darkness, voice barely a whisper of parseltongue. He is alone in his chambers, with nothing but the faint crackle of the dying fireplace to answer him. “Imagine the boy at your side.”

He lets himself imagine the scene vividly. Harry, fierce as always, beside him, eyes blazing but no longer with hatred. No, Harry looks at him with something akin to loyalty—devotion, perhaps. And Voldemort moulds him, sharpens that unyielding spirit, wields him like a blade against anyone who dares oppose him. 

It is, of course, impossible. The boy has proven his defiance time and again, but imagining a world where Harry Potter is his… It’s a delightfully twisted pleasure.

He can see flashes of it when he duels with Harry. He lets their spells clash longer than necessary, twisting his wand in complex arcs to draw out their exchanges. Voldemort always casts his most elegant spells, feeling a shiver of satisfaction when Harry blocks them, though he never holds back enough to allow any real advantage.

They have circled each other, surrounded by the acrid smell of scorched earth and smoke, and Voldemort can see it—the gleam of fire in Harry’s eyes that seems almost respectful, if only for Voldemort’s sheer skill. Perhaps one day, he has thought, as his fingers twist around his wand. One day he will see reason. One day he will recognise his proper place.

Voldemort’s lips curve into a slow, almost serene smile as the firelight casts strange shadows across his features. He knows it is madness to indulge in such thoughts, but he allows it, and the fantasies bloom in his mind. After all, he is a master of bending the world to his will. He would take Harry’s resistance, his fire, his drive—and once he had them if he could just turn them inward, redirect them toward his cause…

“Yes,” he hisses softly, a strange kind of longing in his voice. “Yes, I could make him see.”

And in his fantasies, Harry does see. Voldemort imagines the boy on his knees, not in defeat but in reverence, with that same fierce loyalty that he always displays toward those he loves. Only now, that loyalty is directed at him. Yes, in his mind, Voldemort can feel the heat of Harry’s presence beside him, a flame he can waiver but never fully extinguish—and for reasons he can’t quite explain, he doesn’t want to extinguish it. He wants it close, flaring bright, a fiendfyre only he can command… Voldemort knows it is perverse to entertain such a vision, but he can’t deny its allure.

Obscene behaviour he will never admit to—a summoned bit of parchment and his bent form drafting a letter—a message to Harry. He imagines himself delivering it with a trace of charm, that magnetic charisma he’d once wielded as Tom Riddle. The letter itself is a promise. A darkly tempting offer that whispers of power and knowledge surpassing anything Harry can imagine. Join me, it murmurs from his writing desk, and I will show you things beyond even your boldest dreams.

And as the sun creeps up, joining the dead, undead, and deeply asleep, Voldemort holds the letter before the dying embers of the fireplace and watches blankly as it catches alight. He burns it, scoffing at his own foolishness.

One day, he tells himself as he stalks the halls of Malfoy Manor, irritation under his skin from another fitfully restless night. One day he will either have Harry by his side—willingly or not—or he will be rid of this strange obsession. But until then, he allows himself the indulgence of these fantasies, of a loyalty untainted by fear and of a fire that burns for him alone.

And the next night, in the silence of his dark chambers, with only shadows to witness, when he finds himself with imaginations that tend to run wild… he finds himself waiting—waiting for the day when Harry Potter will be his.

Shadow, despite hating Nine with a passion, is the only person in this entire show that actually sees and understands him in any meaningful way. Sonic's attachment to Nine is based off his friendship with Tails and his inability to cope with the fact that his best friend is gone. In his eyes, Nine is just a gloomy, edgy version of Tails, not his own person with his own motives and desires. He's so used to him and Tails being on the same page, always having each other's back, that he didn't even bother to consider the fact that Nine and him would be any different, and his lapse in judgement is what lead to Ghost Hill being destroyed in the aftermath of Nine's betrayal.

Shadow repeats the sentiment ''they're not your real friends'' over and over in the show. Not only does he offer Sonic a mental out, a way to compartmentalize and stick to their priorities without any regrets weighing him down, it also rings very true to every character Sonic has met thus far. Rebel isn't Rouge, Renegade isn't Knuckles, Thorn isn't Amy and Nine isn't Tails. They're only pieces of their original's personality formed and twisted into their own people with their own lives and their own names. They're similar, but distinctly different, complete strangers in all but appearance. Sonic undoubtably cares about Nine and the others, but that care is built on an illusion, and Shadow recognized that immediately. And for me that's the most ironic and sensible part of it all. That it's Shadow of all people recognizing that so quickly. Shadow, the guy with a history of identity issues plagueing his legacy. Shadow, the guy who cares the least about these other people and made Sonic eat dirt for an entire episode just to sacrifice them one season ago.

And it makes sense. Because he knows first hand how difficult it is to seperate the past from the present, walking the line between being a protector and being a destroyer, his own person or just a weapon and existing as an entity for others to project on until he finally figured himself out on his own, he's able to sniff out Nine's confusion and resentment of Tails from his line ''This is the friend Sonic thought was like me? We're nothing alike'' when they encountered his ghost form before Sonic ever did. And because he doesn't care for him, he never associates him with Tails, giving him the ability to see Nine for who he really is. And Nine's troubled, selfish and volatile, and not to be trusted because his goals never aligned with theirs. He's everything Tails isn't, and that's why Sonic never acknowledged those traits. But Shadow sees Nine, and that's why he was so quick to distrust him.

It's also why he could easily deduce what the motive behind his actions were. Power. It's a motive he can certainly relate to. Something he can understand, but Sonic cannot (bless his heart). It was his driving force for the entirety of SA2. What he was after was the power of the Chaos Emeralds to inact Professor Gerald's revenge on the planet and was he believed to be Maria's dying wish, just like how Nine searches for power to create a paradise where he can live the life he always wanted surrounded by ''friends'' he never had. Both of them didn't think about the damage they caused or those they betrayed in that pursuit because they never factored into the equation in the first place. It's about power to achieve self-fulfilment, and what a broken, lonely, destructive and misguided guy seen by nobody and isolated by everybody will do to see it all through to the end.

Nine and Shadow can relate to each other. They can understand each other. They're can be on the same page when it comes to figuring out what the other person is plotting from eye contact alone (like Shadow immediately realising that Nine was going to use Sonic as his energy source). What Shadow wants from Sonic is to be heard, and what Nine wanted from Sonic was to be seen, and what they can't recieve from him they can give to each other. They're similar, they're compatible, they're both attached to Sonic despite acting otherwise and their mindsets are identical-- and that's exactly why they will never be friends.

He does from time to time, definitely not as often as Grimm does since he's not the one usually initiating the teasing. Not to mention, all the fur on Grimm's neck and shoulders (the primary love biting area for them) is covered in thick fur, which makes attempting to bite them a bit troublesome. Not that it would stop Vyrm, but getting fur stuck to his tongue can't be the most pleasant haha

Thought I'd draw them anyway, not the happiest with the result since my hands were not cooperating well today, but I hope it's good enough nonetheless

And as for the second part of the question, I do really like the mental image of him tinkering with pocket watches in his workshop. Yes, I do think they have an equivalent of those in their world, and Vyrm would undoubtedly be obsessed with the intricate mechanisms. So if there is a #1 pocket watch enjoyer in Hallownest, I think he can safely claim that title.

Ok so hear me out but Mecha pilot au but vore......

Ok so I made the mistake of reading a Mecha au and a vore one shot in the same day and it reminded me of anime I used to love as a teen, dragon pilot.

It's been awhile since I watched it but basically the dragons are disguised as planes and swallow the girls and they pilot from the stomach.

What if some of the Cybertronians on earth are damaged either by quintessons or the government wanting to control them and need extra help. So they figure humans can pilot them from the stomach. I was thinking maybe they have damaged censors or for some reason can't move without a pilot.

I also saw a post about how transformers are basically built to have passengers (especially their earth alt modes) and there was a comment about blind transformers using humans to guide them and I think that could really work here. Also if I'm remembering correctly when the girls connect with their dragons they can see memories and feel their emotions. Now imagine that with the transformers and maybe it's something similar to drifting like in pacific rim.

I think a reason I didn't like Adolescence as much as everyone else did is because it's very unashamed copaganda, despite the fact that it literally opens with a family practically being swatted to arrest a 13 year old boy. Like literally all of the actions taken by the police in the show are never questioned or are completely justified, later in the same episode when the family tries to complain about how their house was basically destroyed and they were treated forcefully, they end up not making an official complaint because "it's just standard procedure" and "well they were telling us to get down on the ground and remain calm, they didn't actually throw us down to the floor with force or anything like that"

That first episode really baited me into thinking there was going to be at least some even mild, lukewarm critique of the police only to be like "actually when that officer in the second episode chases another 13 year old boy through a neighborhood and then when he catches him he shakes him around and yells at him, he's justified because the kid was hiding evidence from him"
