Coming back to Avalon with Keith felt really natural — like we were finishing a conversation we started long ago. Has anybody ever asked you, if you knew then what you knew now would you do anything differently? With this experiment, I got to actually go back and try things I wouldn’t of thought to do 20 years ago. After years of exploring these songs together structurally, we wanted to capture the life that these songs took on when we played them live in their various states. Couldn’t have done it without Keith, the most incredible friend and collaborator I could ever ask for. He knocked this out of the park.
