Honestly that's fucking genius.

He has a pretty hard time expressing his emotions himself. Whether he's feeling angrier or whether he's feeling apathetic or the rare silliness...

So, the first time you two met- you both probably assumed the other was an asshole. But uh, EVIDENTLY THAT DIDN'T LAST.

He's always double checking whether or not you're comfortable with shit. That little notepad you have is a GOD SENT.

Honestly? He probably steals your tactic. He scribbles a little '🖕' middle finger emoji for people he doesn't like.

Yeah, Freddy thought it was strange but Norton shut that mother fucker right up. (Literally)

If you ever lost your papers? He'd go out of his way to get you more. These SAVE him and you. So, he's absolutely cool with that.

Honestly? He was a little confused at first.

He probably didn't even realise you were carrying a paper at first. He was just staring at your face as his expression slowly morphed to one of unease as your expression didn't change at all-

Once you gestured down to your paper- OH HE SIGHED WITH SUCH RELIEF! He thought he made you uncomfortable!

He doesn't mind it at all! Whatever helps you out. In fact, if it helps you communicate? He'd rather you use it then be left without it.

He actually finds it pretty interesting. That is pretty damn inventive. He wouldn't of thought of anything like that honestly.

He's always making sure you've got the supplies you need. Is your marker running out of ink? Do you have enough paper? Are you good?

He finds it so endearing as well. It's charming!

i have so much hcs for some survivors that might accidentally call kevin dad or just generally look up to him in a similar way. ganji, tracy, and odd one out, norton.

ganji… kevin, an older non-white adult with a strong sense of pride and gives his hands to people who needed them. more often women than men, but friendly nonetheless. it was strange to approach him, ganji had been a tad intimidated by him, but he’s talked to worse. their initial conversations had been short, with kevin seemingly not want to continue, but ganji remained persistent until kevin reciprocated.

kevin was equally put off by him, but would eventually soften around him. playing cricket with the kid sure helped their friendship to grow. kevin wouldn’t be too proficient in it, but it’s at least a fun event to pass the time. ganji didn’t seem to mind that he sucked and invites the older man to practice together more. its fun. reminded ganji of the days where he would play with his dad. it’s hard though, but ganji doesn’t remember what his parents face look liked anymore.

to tracy, kevin was a pretty bad motivator. he didn’t understand what she was doing ever, and whenever she tried to explain to him, he’d nod and listen, but never retain anything. or she thought. though his verbiage is wrong sometimes, kevin did give her some insightful look into her machines. it’s nice to have someone compliment her about her talent, she did work hard for it and hearing the praise just motivates her. whenever she’s tinkering, she gets excited just thinking about showing it to kevin.

kevin isn’t sure what to make of tracy. clearly she’s a passionate girl with a knack for scrap metal. she always has a stressed expression whenever he comes by her work desk, and kevin tries to elevate it by boosting her self-esteem since he’s unable to directly help with her profession.

norton doesn’t even know why he sees kevin that way. he’s rude, an asshole, and nags him about things he’s doing wrong. benny hadn’t even been this annoying when he was younger. no matter how bad their interaction may be, he some how became dependent to kevin. not monetarily, but he enjoys their curt, often meaningless, bickering. there are even time they’ve gotten into physical quarrels, one time even ending up in emily’s infirmary. it was an awkward silence following the doctor’s stay, but it did give norton something to laugh at later.

eventually kevin would stop entertaining his antics, but norton eventually figured out how to get his attention by messing with the other patrons, particularly female ones. he’d bother them and either they step up or, more importantly, kevin steps in.

kevin absolutely despises him, everywhere he goes, trouble follows. did his parents not teach their manchild manners? kevin doesn’t even know how this started. one day, norton just decided to cause problems for him and only him. he’s insufferable.

I will forever and always rep that Kevin will be the downfall of game 5 until proven otherwise. Every other participant has some sort of skin, or event, or SOMETHING where they see thru the lies and try to fight it and then here he comes with his stupid behind ready to ruin everything while he confidently charges headfirst into the trap and screws everyone else up.

Going back to my roots and draw my no.1 bbg himself. With a few headcannons ofc
