yesterday i looked into finding another pdf library for java, since i want my program to maybe have some more features that the one im using rn cant do. found one that has paid and free versions, with the free version limiting the size of documents you can save.

how do they enforce this, i wondered? its a code library, how do they prevent people from just going in and modifying it to remove the limit? well, turns out you dont get to actually download the library! your program has to reference an online source.
