Computers are very simple you see we take the hearts of dead stars and we flatten them into crystal chips and then we etch tiny pathways using concentrated light into the dead star crystal chips and if we etch the pathways just so we can trick the crystals into doing our thinking for us hope this clears things up.

Ah, I just wanted to ask, why did Nadao shut down, if it's okay to bring it up? It seemed like they managed so many well-known actors, so the closure felt unexpected. Was it sudden?

Of course it's always to ask about Nadao. I live to answer these Nadao Bangkok asks btw so yes feel free to send anything at all time about Nadao. My friend Rain (@williamests) asked this exact question a year ago so lemme link up my answer down below because I don't think my thoughts on it has changed since then.
However to expand upon your question, I think for I'll discuss about the unexpectedness which was briefly elaborated in my previous ask. First of all here's an excerpt from my ask last year
And I would say that after two years since Nadao closes down, it's been pretty clear that the closing down of Nadao was more ideology-motivated than business. While Nadao officially shut down it's business, the actual company itself was renamed Tada Entertainment to accompany P'Yong Songyos Sugmakanan's pursuit of making the next perfect idol groups.
One must be quite confounded by P'Yong Soyos' new pursuits but watching the documentary of how 9x9 (Nine By Nine) was formed, I think it becomes very clear that P'Yong has always harboured an interest in making the next big Thai pop group, similar to Kpop idol group style. I highly recommend watching this if you have time, or at least the first two episodes of the 9x9 documentary. It's honestly one of the realest documentaries I've ever watched of an idol group, the way they talk about each other here is basically how they talk about each other in real life, even now.
I would say P'Yong's general pursuit and ambitions in the music/Thai pop industry coupled with Nadao's roster of artists outgrowing its target group are the biggest reasons for Nadao closing in general.
I'm always grateful to Nadao for bringing us some of the best series in existence (crazy to think how In Family We Trust is conceived as a part of 9x9 project, with the main purpose to make a series to star all nine boys of 9x9) yet it swept the Nataraja awards (Thai Emmys) that year. This is yet another stellar example of how Nadao ended up excelling at what they don't plan to do (producing series) than what they do intend (managing artists/boy groups). 9x9 was a successful project though, don't get me wrong, I'm just trying to make the case that IFWT is more successful than P'Yong probably intended it to be (though P'Yong was pretty ambitious with this project himself, getting all the experienced older lakorn actors into this so perhaps he did plan for it to be that successful). Even though, there were many Nadao artists that left before they completely closed down like James, Peach, Nonkul... I really like that most Nadao artists remained very close with their fellow Nadao peers, and often times ending up in same projects together once again.
I'm always sad about Nadao closing down but seeing how most former Nadao artists have no trouble finding works on their own after its closing, I'm very happy to see them flourishing and doing their own thing. I love that there's a huge family energy when it comes to Nadao because the senior artists always consider their junior like their little brothers and sisters (Ice Paris being the MC for both DICE and BUS showcases, Tor and Ice being the MCs for the 789 Survival). P'Yong has previously talked about how "Nadao isn't just a company, it's like a home. That's why when some of their artist left Nadao, P'Yong considered it more as them "graduating" so they can grow and build path on their own."
Sorry this was a pretty long excerpt from my last ask, all just to say that I think Nadao Bangkok closing wasn't sudden at all to the artists, but it's probably more sudden to the public because they were doing so well with hit TV series like ITSAY and IPYTM.
But even in the case that they technically "closed down", most of the Nadao managers who were managing Nadao artists before, kept on managing their roster. For example, Tor, Billkin, PP, Thanaerng and JJ's current managers are still the one with them since Nadao days, Feb who manages Ter Chantavit, Ice Paris, Junior still manages Ter and Ice, only Junior not being managed by her anymore since he moved to GMMTV but they're so close to the point that they meet up every 3-4 months. Pao is still managing Oab and New, and for a long time was still manager for Fuaiz even after he's signed with BOC.

So to their artists, Nadao Bangkok is really like home. You will NEVER catch a long interview of Tor Thanapob where he doesn't bring up Nadao and P'Yong (seriously). Of course I understand that our teenage years are the ones that shape us the most but still... like it's truly family to them.
However, if we look at not just artists under Nadao but also the creatives who were working for both Nadao and GDH, I do think Nadao Bangkok closing was imminent and crucial to the development of their own repertoire especially looking at the recent works of Nadao Bangkok/GDH series creatives. To simply put, all the directors who were directing Nadao/GDH series all immediately got a full-length feature film with GDH, following the closing of Nadao Bangkok.
Hongvivatana Twins (Great Men Academy) with Me & You & You
Pat Boonnitipat (Project S: Skate Our Souls, Bad Genius Series) with How To Make Millions Before Grandma Dies
Boss Kuno (Project S: Side By Side, My Ambulance, I Told Sunset About You, I Promise You The Moon) with The Paradise Of Thorns
Seua Pichaya (Hormones, Project S: Spike) with 404 Run Run
Claire Jirassaya (One Year 365) with Flat Girls
I think people often forget that Nadao Bangkok is first and foremost a company created to manage GDH-signed artists, so it's understandable that occasionally they also produce series with the intention of featuring their actors/showcasing their actors' skill. But with the GDH creatives being raised the way they are, actors need to fit the work not works being written to fit the actors (ITSAY and IPYTM are the exceptions, not the rule). Like what JJ said in an interview during Spare Me Your Mercy promo when being asked about getting cast in the series. JJ elaborated that his working process for accepting works is he'd ask for a short script and request to cast/read for the first because he thinks it's unfair if he just accepts a role offered without casting 🥹
Nadao and GDH's tradition is that no matter how famous you are, whether you're P'Sunnny, P'Ter or P'Tor, you have to be cast. You have to try, if you don't get it's fine.
So yeah with Nadao Bangkok closing down and rebranding as Tada Entertainment and its three subsidiaries: SONRAY (managing boygroups BUS and DICE), ILY Lab (managing girlgroup MXFRUIT) and 5x6 House (a production company, led by Ping Kriangkrai Vachiratamporn, more information here). I think this allows Nadao directors like P'Ping Kriangkrai or P'Meen Tossaphon not to feel pressured about having to create works to fit the artists they're managing, meanwhile P'Yong gets to pursue his idol/artist management pursuits.

Or for writers/directors who were originally under GDH that for the longest time worked to create Nadao/GDH series, finally getting their big breaks which they ended up working on directorial debuts that are very personal and dear to their heart. You can definitely see this most obvious in You & Me & Me - a coming of age film about twin sisters by the Hongvivatana twins

Or in Flat Girls - a coming of age film about a sapphic chubby teenage girl growing up in flats for police aka Claire Jirassaya's personal story.

Boss Kuno also highlights his own need for 100% completely creative control within a project, especially since he's used to that when working under Nadao Bangkok. So this entire Boss Kuno interview will pretty much tell you exactly the reason why these former Nadao creatives end up creating the works that they do. Most have gone freelance or still developing projects at GDH 559, 5x6 House or Looke but one thing is for sure, they'll always strive for independence and all actors for their projects must be cast.

a lot of media assumes robots would be immortal but i think its a lot more interesting to explore robots dealing with their parts wearing down and battery life shortening and all the horrible little failings that come with being a complicated machine. sure they can replace parts but you'd assume you cant completely ship of theseus them, or it'd have pretty big rammifications on their sense of identity. idk. give me robots with distinct, unique signs of aging. as a treat.

there is very little in the actual document, it is mostly in the conceptual phase, on my "someday" list, waiting for me to go back and finish re-reading @mxmollusca's amazing In Favor With Their Stars (because I need to get the vibes of the thing in my head again), but fuckit, here is all the text I have written so far, because at some point [checks document history: ok, all the way back in June] I got this one little bit in my head and decided I needed to put it down before I forgot:
He doesn’t always sleep in the full suit, but more often than not, because he does like a good cuddle as he’s falling asleep — and sometimes, to wake in the night with Stede curled close around him, and depending how Stede’s feeling when he wakes, well — it’s nice to sleep with the one you love. [does Ed still have the little kraken toy?] Stede’s been experimenting with higher-fidelity textures, lately, as Ed plays with different sensors in the suit. They enjoy tinkering together
And yes, it does cut off mid-sentence. I swear, this fic will happen at some goddamn point, I have no idea when, but there are little images and ideas that just kind of float into my head from time to time, and I very much want to make it happen.

Perry/OFMD crossover!
Alas, I do not have any actual text for this one - the doc is a mix of book recommendations from @frommybookbook, some discussion copied from our Slack DMs, and a rough outline.
The concept is that it's the OFMD characters in a Perry Mason story, most likely that Nigel Badminton is the murder victim and either Ed or Stede has been accused - or as I said to Laura in those DMs: "Stede really has the dumb blonde who disregards Perry's advice vibes lol" (also Stede definitely has to go to Vegas to get divorced from Mary, because that works as both an OFMD story beat and as a common plot point in Perry Mason stories/episodes)
It's been on the back-burner partially because I need to dig into more Perry source material to get the language right (similarly to why I haven't gotten into that ifwts tentacles fic, actually), and partially because it's got to have Plot, which is its own challenge.
I did tell Laura on Monday that if she watches S2 I would love to talk to her about how to incorporate some of those story beats into the thing, so we'll see.
