ZKDKZ WELL i think venti is really interesting tbh. he seems fine on the outside, cracks some jokes etc and looks carefree and just, yk, free, but deep down he's still mourning the loss of his friend and became an alcoholic. he lost not only the boy but now his people, because he freed them; just like he freed dvalin. he's obsessed with freedom, but i wonder if it's a healthy one? like,,,

when you look at anemo characters, they're also free, in a way, but they lost something and this something chains them to a certain duty (disregarding jean bc i don't know her im sorry but it could be losing venessa (?) and becoming the head of the knights etc). xiao lost the other adepti + rex lapis, and he's carrying the burden all by himself. kazuha just mourned his friend's death properly, and is now more free, but that's really recent. sucrose lost her friends, but she remains obsessed with their promise to the point where it's part of the reason she became albedo's assistant

they're not really free, just like venti isn't. also, he's kind of hyperfixating on this whole freedom thing, so, yk. YEAH.

and albedo also fits the whole idea of what we talked about imo!! probably wouldn't have guessed. although he does get a little more lively when he talks about his interests, and you do too, so 👀
