It depends! There's two possible outcomes: one, their form is permanent and they just gain control again, OR two, they revert back to being human(?) but have leftover effects of, yk, getting their body twisted. Pictured below!

It would be kinda tragic to get their body back but it's permanently changed and just not quite right as it used to be, but at least like this they can live a normal ish life I think

(Also I just like it when characters have an actual remain of whatever happened to them, cuz symbolism and stuff like that)
