I sent an ask to @emeraldwatts , and I wrote the fanfic that I said I was going to write :)

Title: “I love you”

It was a late night for the two of them, Garrett and Andrew. Garrett forced Andrew to go on a Harry Potter marathon, all in one night. It was about 2am when they finished all of the movies, and needless to say, Andrew was basically asleep already. Garrett was so into the movie that he didn’t realize Andrew lay down on top of him, with his head on his chest. By the time the movie was over, Andrew was already snoring. Garrett, not being able to move, turned off the projector with the remote, and started to stroke Andrew’s hair, while drifting off to sleep.

Garrett woke up to Caleb walking in the house.

“Goodmor-,“ Caleb stopped, then continued, “,I’m sorry, am I interrupting something?”

Garrett answered, “Oh, no! We stayed up late watching Harry Potter. I guess we just fell asleep.”

Caleb laughed and asked if they were still

up for coffee. Garrett said “Of course!” They then began to talk about Garrett’s feelings for Andrew, but quiet enough to not wake Andrew up. After about 10 minutes of talking, Andrew began to tussle around. Garrett panicked, so he pretended to be asleep.

“Good morning Andrew!” said Caleb.

“Oh, good morning Caleb!”

Andrew replied while rubbing his eyes.

He let out a bit yawn, then realized where he was laying.

“Oh shit! I must’ve been either drunk, or really tired to be cuddled with Garrett all night!”

Caleb looked confused, “Why?”

“Well, I uh, kinda, uh, maybe have feeling for Garrett. But, for all he knows, I’m straight. And I uh, don’t know how to tell him. I’ve ember even told him I loved him, even as a friend. It’s just when I see him, my brain turns to mush, and all my problems go away, and so do my thoughts. I guess uhh-“

Andrew trailed off, noticing he was blushing dramatically.

Caleb knew that Garrett was still awake, but he didn’t say anything.

“Oh my gosh! That’s so sweet Andrew! I can tell just by the way you looked when talking about him, you really love him. He brings out the best of you.”

Those words made Andrew smile. There was a certain twinkle in his eye. Caleb, noticing his eyes light up, called it “the Garrett twinkle”. Andrew was going to

reply to Caleb, but Garrett started to “wake up”.

“Good morning Gare!” Andrew and Caleb said in unison.

“Oh, hi Caleb! Let me get ready really quick, then we’ll go!”

After about 10 minutes, they were on their way to Starbucks. Caleb insisted on driving, and forced Andrew and Garrett into the backseat together.

“I want to be like an uber” Andrew knew that was bullshit, but he played along, only because Garrett was sitting so close to him.

Garrett decided that it would be a good idea to kind of playfully flirt with Andrew, just to see his reaction. Since Garrett knew that Andrew was head over heels for him, he wanted to play around a little. Don’t get him wrong, Garrett was in love with Andrew too (and had been since they met), but Garrett always thought that Andrew looked cute all flustered and everything. The first thing Garrett did was start to touch Andrew’s knee. He tapped it a few times before resting his hand on it. He heard Andrew’s breathing hitch, and Caleb saw through the rear view mirror that he started to blush wildly. Caleb and Garrett tried their best not to burst out in giggles and smiles, but they don’t know how good of a job they did on that.

After they got their coffee, they decided to walk around for a bit. Garrett, being the wonderful flirt that he is, purposefully brushed his hand against Andrews throughout the walk. Andrew tried his hardest not to make eye contact, but once he saw that Garrett was looking at him, he couldn’t help it. He looked up at the taller man with a huge grin in his face. He had never seen someone so perfect before.

A few hours later, after Caleb dropped them off, they were both chilling on the couch. Garrett, who was actually tired, laid his head down on Andrew’s shoulder. He could feel the ginger’s heartbeat increase and his temperature rise. After a few minutes he fell asleep. All Andrew could think about what Garrett. He tried his best not to imagine them kissing, but, eventually, the temptation got the best of him. He imagined Garrett placing his hand on his cheek, he imagined closing his eyes, he imagined locking lips with the taller man, he imagi-

He heard Garrett start to move around, then wake up.

“Oh, hey Andrew! You’re looking rather handsome today!”

The words hit Andrew like a truck. Sure, Garrett complimented him all the time, but with those thoughts he just had, it just hit different.

“Uh, th- thank you Garrett. Did you have nice nap?”

“Sure did!”

“I’m happy to hear that!” Andrew said with a smile.

“Let’s go on a walk before the sun disappears?”

It was about 6pm, the sun was setting. They stopped at a park to watch the sunset while sitting on a bench. Garrett turned to Andrew, who was already staring at him. He suddenly snapped out of it, but it was already obvious that he was looking.

“I need to tell you something” Garrett said

“Huh?” Andrew started to become anxious, but he kept it all inside of him.

“Remember this morning, when Caleb came over?”

“Yea?” Andrew didn’t know where this was going.

“Well, I woke up before you, and when you woke up, I pretended to be alseep, I don’t know why, but I did. I heard your conversation with Caleb.”

At this point, Andrew was basically a tomato. He turned bright red and started to fidget with his sleeves. He was going to respond, but right as he opened his mouth, Garrett put his hand on his cheek. Holy crap this was actually happening. Andrew was too shocked to do anything. Before he could get a chance to react, their lips were locked. Garrett wrapped his arms around Andrew’s neck. After what seemed like the best hours of their lives, they finally let go. Andrew, trying to catch his breath, started to smile.

“I love you Siwicki”

“I love you too Watts”
