"I'm actually here to see William," said Tony. "I gave a talk at the science fair at his school and he asked a couple of questions. They were more about the superhero-y stuff than the science-y stuff so I couldn't really answer them at the time, but I thought we could chat."

Oh crap. Billy pressed his hand to his head, trying to fast track his own thought process. What would mom think? Super hero-y stuff? What did that mean? He'd never been super fascinated by that, except for his recent diving into the Vision. He patted his leg and Greg quickly trotted over, paws on his hips and he eagerly accepted a cuddled as he tried to eavesdrop, just a bit more before he put a fucking stop to this.

“So… why don’t you ask her out?” This was none of his business. Maybe he should just stay quiet— after all, things there were very different than in his home universe. But one thing didn’t seem all that different. Even though his parents weren’t together, and even though he hadn’t been around for too long, Logan could still see the way Tony acted around Pepper. 

“I mean, it worked out in another universe…” He pointed to himself. “Besides, you’ll never know unless you try. At least, that’s what the… version of you I know always tells me.”

It was a lot to hope for. She knew that. But she knew the loss of Howard hurt the people she cared most about.

"I'm sorry, I know that's difficult," she noticed him trying to straighten up a bit.

"So... Pepper is your boss, that tracks."

"So... you still Iron Man in this universe or?" (it's been forever and I'm a sucker for multiverse stuff.)

Tony looked up at the girl and pulled his reading glasses down his nose to look at her. "Am I still... what?"

It was just a small ping, nothing more. Just a tiny little glimpse of normalcy that shouldn't be there, and it probably meant nothing at all. He should really just shrug it off, grab himself a drink and call it a night early...

But he can't because this little ping had awoken a fire of hope inside Peter's chest, a temporary connection to his deceased mentor's servers that should not have been possible. He'd tried everything in the first months after Tony had been gone, desperate to find some proof that it was all just a fucked up nightmare... but even EDITH couldn't find any connections. Of course, it made sense. He was dead.

But when this split second connection reached him on that fateful friday evening, he couldn't let it go. He spent the whole night trying to get precise coordinates and when he did find them, he ran to his piece of shit pizza delivery car and drove. Hours. He didn't care if this was all for nothing because for the first time in a long time he knew what he was doing. He had hope and a goal.

Finding a literal cottage with obvious Stark tech installed was not what he had expected. His logical brain tried to believe this was likely just Pepper's safe house or something but.... then he caught a glimpse of Tony Stark himself, alive, and the young vigilante just fell to his knees. Tears streaming down his cheeks, mouth half open in shock, just... kneeling in the man's driveway.

He snorts. " You can say that" He stiffen for moment, he dawn a smile but didn't reach it eyes. It hurt to see Pepper but same way he knew it wasn't his Pepper. " Buongiorno" he added accent just in case. Glad he been to Italy once or twice.

A golden round portal, made of golden sparks, appeared before the reader. A man with glowing circle on his chest, and a robotic arm ( replacing his one he use to have ). The man stables, looking back as the portal closed. He blinks standing up, mouth open as he sees the reader. " Hey... I'm Tony Stark... do you " he blinks for moment. " Do you know where cloest burger joint is" he asked.

For Tony, waking up one morning to find out that his arc reactor had suddenly gained sentience was somehow not the strangest thing to ever happen to him. However, the fact that his arc reactor was now a gorgeous woman with glowing blue hair… well that was DEFINITELY something he never expected to happen.

Oh. My. Gosh. Billy grimaced as he hid behind the wall, and crossed his fingers. All he could do was hope that Mr. Stark didn't embarrass him, or at the very least, didn't out him as a supposed Maximoff. Please, please, please?

Howard Reaches the Future - Closed RP

Howard was working on a new machine to travel through time. He had his doubts about this actually succeeding, but Howard figured he might as well try it since he had already tried making a flying car. He finishes adjusting a couple of parts on the machine and then steps inside. He presses the buttons to start the machine and take him into the future. A blue-ish light surrounds the time machine and it shakes violently. After a few minutes, the blue-ish light and shaking stop, but there’s a sharp cracking sound from somewhere in the machine and the doors open. Howard blinks and steps out of the machine. “Hello? Where am I?” He asks, uncertain about if he’ll get an answer.
