I just want to say... Yes. The Bible gives us a vague description of how Jesus looks. I don’t care. I have a representation of the image of Jesus I grew up with. Yep it’s white Jesus. But was he white? Nope not as the Bible describes. Honestly I will see him soon enough, getting to know him through personal relationship and reading the word has been the most important thing I have focused on in my life... if I get to heaven and he says “hey man! You should have focused more on the 3 scriptures that describe how I look!” I’ll deal with it then but till then I’ll focus on doing what I believe Jesus thinks is most important helping people to get saved and strengthening the family of God, and right now what you think Jesus looks like isn’t getting you any closer to him. In fact if your hung up on it you may find your own point of view is coming between you and him. No matter what color you think Jesus is or interpret the scripture there as, he loves us all. My God came to this world in a man and submitted himself willingly to the constraints of this life we live in. He willingly submitted to the religious authority in his time here on earth but he stood against religious authority that leads men away from God. Some of us are afraid to stand in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for this very reason. Jesus didn’t have to let the religious and world authority persecute and hang him on a cross... but he did. He could have followed the religious authority and focused on keeping them happy instead of pleasing the Father. BUT THANK GOD HE DID NOT! I am part of the family of God because he honored the Father and not men.
