right i'd be in Shock if any official ghost thing ever explicitly said 'perpetua is a trans man'. maybe i'm just pessimistic but it seems like a very unlikely thing to happen, especially with the direction the band is taking now. and it is a band, not a plot, at the end of the day. so idk. but allow me to live for a moment in a beautiful world where that's a possibility. if such a huge and relevant band, still growing in popularity, announced that their 'lead singer' is trans - it wouldn't matter that the real guy is not. idek what to say. a band that calls its fans its 'children' and acts like a religious organisation, announcing its support for trans people in such a prominent and novel way, following up what they've already done (the enter sandman charity cover) as support... maybe i'm just feeling dramatic because i'm in the uk rip. but my love for them would be undying
