i think its funny that im still really shy about the fact that i think romantic quackcicle is reductive to c!quackity's character in a way that personally grates me and not in the common discourse interpretation of "u only hate the /r because you dont think c!slime can be romantic " (not a question of c!slime its entirely abt what i personall think makes c!q's arc satisfying which is trope subversion bla bla bla).

bc like first of all i dont think abt dsmp as much second of all who gives a shit its been like two years. i am like busy in life people have jobs this is not on anyones minds but i still fear the almighty discourse God bless. anyway i put stuff in tags i really hurt my hands somehow so i cant type w as mjuch dextertiy so work w me and the typos

#nightmare.personal #also it means more 4 me bc i related heavily to parts of c!q's narrative #and i saw a parallel in me that makes me reflect harder on this #which like isnt totally fair i guess but also tbf i think i also imagine this in a very narrative way aside from my own experience #of if someone has had significant adverse romantic experiences due to trauma etc etc #is it not more interesting that their last relationshop which went badly was built on a platonic foundation that was incredibly close #showing that he is capable of having that level of confidence with an equal that does not introduce romance which in his past-#-put him on uneven grounds due to the various circumstances accompanying his romantic history #like he could truly just have an equal who was a friend that more than the ones he did have like c!fool etc was like truly There #and then THAT betrayal to happen where it has nothing to do with like a romantic curse but to do with him personally #that to me is way more compelling than guy who cant stop having fucked up romances #bc what is the lesson to dhtat. never fall in love? i feel like thats not the takeway for his character #in isolation if their arc preceded like say k/s/q then i would reverse and assume a /r for quackcicle & /p for ksq yk #idk there are like 2 ppl whose opinions on c!q i care about and both of them are thes but those r my thoughts #i could write a bigger post but i just dont gaf
