Understanding the Different Types of Industrial Plugs and Sockets
In the industrial world, the importance of reliable and robust electrical connections cannot be overstated. Industrial plugs and sockets are the backbone of electrical connectivity, providing the critical link between power sources and industrial equipment. Balaji Switchgears understands this necessity and offers a wide range of high-quality industrial plugs and sockets designed to meet the diverse needs of various industrial applications.
Introduction to Industrial Plugs and Sockets
Industrial plugs and sockets differ significantly from their domestic counterparts. They are engineered to handle higher voltages and currents, withstand rough handling, resist environmental hazards, and maintain connectivity in demanding industrial environments. The design and manufacturing of these connectors follow stringent standards to ensure safety, durability, and compatibility across different systems and regions.
Types of Industrial Plugs and Sockets
The types of industrial plugs and sockets can be categorized based on several factors, including pin configuration, voltage and frequency ratings, degree of protection, and specific applications.
Pin Configurations: The number of pins in an industrial connector can range from two to five or more. The configuration depends on whether the system is single-phase or three-phase, with additional pins for neutral and earth connections. Common configurations include 2P+E (two poles plus earth), 3P+E (three poles plus earth), and 3P+N+E (three poles plus neutral plus earth).
Voltage and Frequency Ratings: Industrial connectors are designed to accommodate a wide range of voltages, typically up to 1000 V DC or AC. The current ratings can go up to 800 A for heavy-duty applications. Frequency ratings are also considered, with some connectors rated for frequencies up to 500 Hz.
Protection Degrees: The degree of protection provided by an industrial plug or socket is indicated by its IP rating. For example, an IP44 rating signifies protection against solid objects larger than 1 mm and water splashing from all directions. An IP67 rating offers complete protection against dust ingress and temporary immersion in water.

Specifications of Industrial Plugs and Sockets
Adherence to international standards is crucial for ensuring the safety and interoperability of industrial connectors. The IEC 60309 standard is widely recognized in this regard, providing guidelines for color codes, dimensions, configurations, voltage, frequency ratings, and degrees of protection.
Color Codes: To prevent accidental mismatches that could lead to equipment damage or safety hazards, IEC 60309 specifies color codes for different voltage ratings. For instance, blue indicates a voltage rating of up to 250 V (AC), red signifies 400 V (AC), while yellow represents 1000 V (AC or DC).
Dimensions: The standard also defines precise dimensions for plugs and sockets to ensure a secure fit that prevents accidental disconnections.
Configurations: The layout of pins is standardized according to IEC 60309 configurations. This uniformity ensures that plugs from one manufacturer can be used with sockets from another without compatibility issues.
Applications
Industrial plugs and sockets find applications across a broad spectrum of industries:
Manufacturing: They power machines that perform cutting, welding, shaping, or assembly operations.
Construction: Robust connectors are used on construction sites where they are exposed to dust, moisture, and mechanical stress.
Hazardous Environments: In areas with explosive gases or combustible dust, specially designed connectors with higher protection ratings are employed.
Conclusion
Selecting the right type of industrial plug or socket is paramount for maintaining operational efficiency and safety standards in any industrial setting. Balaji Switchgears‘ extensive range of industrial connectors ensures that businesses can find the perfect match for their specific requirements.

warnings. it's just the prelude, so no major warnings. angst a little bit. industry parties. mentions of alcohol and drugs. original non-canon characters. mentions of not so great friends (surround yourself with people you love). not much more i can think of, if i missed any, please lmk.

YOU STARE STUNNED at your manager. Mouth agape, skin drained of all its color, and eyes wide, bulging even, to the point where if you even tried to widen your eyes further they’d pop out of your sockets and roll onto the floor ridden with fallen confetti.
“And you chose to tell me this now?” you questioned, voice fluctuating to a pitched shrill. Out of the frustrated and impending heavy stress-ridden weights you already feel stacking on your shoulders and in hopes that your manager could hear your distaste for the delivery of this news over the bumping music.
“I didn’t know when to tell you.”
There wasn’t enough restraint nor care to hold the scoff that bubbled up in your chest, up to your throat, and out your mouth. “So, here was the perfect place, Corinne?” quirking an eyebrow.
“I knew the news would get you,” pausing to look down the length of your antsy figure, a clear standout in the sea of swaying people against each other. Trying to gather the right words that won’t send you off your rocker, further. “wound up. And I was right. But you’re at a party, the environment is fun, loose, and light. Enjoy it, you’re with friends.” she eases, inching closer towards you, knowing what works with you in the near decade of being your manager.
Your eyes bore into Corinne's, squinting at her just before dropping to eye at the little glittery clutch in your hand that matches your skirt. Flicking at a few of the glitter specs on the clutch with a manicured nail before huffing, shoulders deflating upon the exhale from the involuntary hunch you had them in seconds before.
Corinne’s words soak past surface level for a moment, absorbing, and trying to understand that, while unideal, being in an uppity environment could busy your racing mind from running laps around any and all possibilities on why your boss urgently wants a meeting with you. Yet, still, you would’ve much preferred this news in private. Wrapping your arms around yourself, looking over your shoulders to the people in the room—some faces you knew, whether they're fellow artists, celebrities of varying lists, or casual socialites who find their way into parties like these often, but most of whom you don't know, that's how it's always been; being in a room full of people who you have no idea who they are, yet they know everything about you. Turning back around to Corinne, “None of these people are my friends.”
“Then, colleagues.” she fixes, raising her voice when the music starts to roar.
Instead of scoffing a humble chuckle takes its place. “Colleagues who want to see me crash and burn into the Bermuda Triangle to never be seen again. Then, yes, they are.”
Corinne gives you a look you know all too well, a disciplinary look when the older woman thinks whatever you’d just said was inappropriate. Her head drops and a hand finds home on her waist as her body slants. “Morbid. These colleagues who ‘want to see you crash and burn’ are also fighting with each other to get a feature.”
“There won’t be much to feature on if I get fired.” you gloom, grey, thundering clouds of pessimism altering your mood.
“You’re the label’s darling, no one’s getting fired.” she comforts, or tries. Even after all these years, it’s still foreign to her to properly comfort you in moments like these, but she does her best as the arm against her side raises. The coldness of her hand on your upper arm startles you, an icy comfort soothes over your burning skin, relaxing into her touch. ‘You’re the label’s darling’ runs on repeat like a record on a record player, the only thought that occupies the dark space of your mind right now, attempting to stomach the words in hopes that you’d digest them and be able to believe that Corinne is right.
The pressure of her hand leaves your arm, the pads of her fingers wisping down your upper arm as she catchers her arm to lay at her side once again, taking a step back from you with a click of her heels. Now, it’s Corinne’s turn to look beyond her shoulders to observe the room, everyone’s in their own fantasy land—maybe that’s due to the boos and drugs making their rounds through the room for each guest to get their desired fix—yet, she digress when she focuses attention to the younger in front of her. The pesky grey clouds persisting overtop of your head, your slumped figure reminding her nothing less than a kicked puppy; she pitties you.
“I’m going to network. I think I spotted that one videographer you’ve been wanting to work with.” She hoped that with this mention you’d perk up, but she got nothing more than a tight-lipped smile followed by a weak nod.
“It would be pretty cool if we got him to work on the new album visuals.”
Corinne shares her own tight-lipped smile with you. “Atta girl. Try to loosen up, yeah? You’re going to get more knots if you stay tense.”
A feathery light laugh falls from your lips that she turns her worries to the hypothetical knots you’ll develop. “Noted. I’ll see if I can find my friends.” contradictory to your earlier statement, but it’s a win-some-lose-some situation when all you’ve got is a small pool of people to refer to as a friend. Never genuine a friend, no, but you do develop a bond when mutual use of each other is used to forget the loneliness that is guaranteed with fame.
“You mean colleagues?” she quips, testing you on your past ideology.
There was a space that became as the two of you began to drift apart. “They’re starting to overlap for me.” you shrug, already knowing that both wish to see the same thing happen to you. Leaving Corinne to watch as you disappear into the abyss, pleased that you’ve regained even just a bit of pep in your step—she knows you too well to not know how to get your spirits back on track.
Working your way through the crowd you shout your fair share of “Excuse me’s” and “Right behind you’s”, refraining the best you can from elbowing your way through after a few shoves to yourself; although you’re almost positive that most deserve the elbow.
Balling your fists up, still grasping your clutch in your grasp, as you bring your hands up to your chest, thinking you’ll move fast through the crowd without your arms at your sides. Just when you’re near the other side of the room you hear the shouts of your name—stage name, but name nonetheless—through the music, certain that when you exit the building your ears will be ringing and your heart still vibrating in your chest cavity from the blaring music the DJ is mixing up. Whipping around you squint, attempting to see the caller of your name past the blinding light effects. With defeat, you shuffle through the crowd, following the indicator of the person’s arm flailing in the air every so often.
Not knowing what happened next, if your foot got caught or if someone had shoved you again, but you end up bracing onto someone’s back. Taking a hold of their broad shoulders the best you can, cringing when the blunt sound of your clutch meets the person’s back in the abrupt moment, while your other hand desperately tries to get a grasp on them, but you end up just missing the mark as your sweaty hand (courtesy of the cramped space) slides down the leathery smoothness of their jacket.
It’s a blur when you crane your neck to look out to the crowd once more upon the call of your name, a hand snapping around your wrist and pulling you into their grasp—it’s Gwen, her model legs reaching you quicker than you would’ve ever been able to. Before you can process an apology for bracing on the random person, Gwen is already whisking you through the congested room. Too preoccupied with trying to catch a glimpse over your shoulder from where you previously were to pay attention clearly to whatever she’s rambling about, not that you could hear her anyway over the DJ’s newest mix. But as you move further along, you can no longer spot the mystery person, or well their back, who had generously been in the right spot at the right time for you to catch yourself on them. Not that you’d be able to know what they looked like, just going off of the fact that they’d be wearing a leather jacket—though who would wear a leather jacket in here?
The question would linger in your mind for the rest of the night, scoping through the crowd for anyone who had on anything eerily similar to a leather jacket. And when the night rounds out to an end you’re left with an irk buried deep beneath your skin that the question is left unanswered, with no real reason on why you’re bothered by this.
Yet, this incident out of many—the countless right times, right places missed—unknowingly brings you one step closer to the meeting that’s always been bound to occur.

So, the shoreline serpentine mechanisms
One can get a vague idea of what they probably did in the past ("bite?") with a glance, and they're likely mainly there to allude to the leviathans and look cool but I wanted to analyze them a bit more regardless
And for that, karma gates will once again be pretty useful as a reference point
this serves as both a quick view at how the "head" functions and also how/why these are different from leviathans and not leviathan bones or the like
Now, the mechanism could still be interpreted in a few ways
if we stick closely to the karma gates then the "maws" would retract into the side rails
However, this leaves the center in an awkward state
it could be just a nondescript pattern like in the karma gate
it could also be a mechanism akin to drills

But, I'd like to offer another possibility: zipper maw

combining both options, maybe these dock with each other, one going into the side rails of the other, although there might also be a different head that docks into this like the following layer in the gate/the clampers of a leviathan, kinda similar to the primary cortex conduits in downpour superstructures
it could also just dock into some other structure, like a plug and a socket
Now, on the support beam theory

This is a blueprint for a support beam used for the construction of early industrial areas. You can see these in use not too far from here.
"not too far from here" sounds like it's referring to something in shoreline
now, an iterator's perception of distance would mean this "not too far" could cover anywhere in the whole game
but that would be damn boring
From a writer's perspective, this sounds like it's talking about some kind of structure in particular, and these "serpents" are the most unique structure nearby, short of the chimneys that connect the water surface to the underground sections
One could argue they aren't "in use", but what structure is in use?
One other alternative could maybe be the pillars/collumns in the garbage wastes ruins near the shoreline gate
Worth noting that there are support beams similar to these serpents, although there are no perfect matches anywhere, and the panel assets from the body segments are used for vents and walls
Fun little idea, but what if the mechanism is an assembly, expanding that segmented box body?
no real basis for this other than perhaps just how long some of these are and the vague idea of "construction equipment", but it occurred to me and i wanted to animate it
Now, here's a puzzling pair of serpents
particularly short, coming out of the top of a chimney, and connected to cogs and cables, these strongly give off the impression of construction machines meant to flex and twist and grab stuff

As previously shown though, those "maws" arent exactly designed to clasp shut, so I'm having a hard time imagining them grabbing anything; but oh well, perhaps these do be grabby hands, oversized trash worms that put collumns in place rather than junk into holes

Umbrellas and automobiles are different. Not just because of size, function, and cost. But for a reason we seldom stop to consider. A person can use an umbrella without buying another product. An automobile, by contrast, is useless without fuel, oil, repair services, spare parts, not to mention streets and roads. The humble umbrella, therefore, is a rugged individual, so to speak, delivering value to its user irrespective of any other product. The mighty auto, by contrast, is a team player completely dependent on other products. So is a razor blade, a tape recorder, a refrigerator, and thousands of other products that work only when combined with others. The television set would stare blankly into the living room if someone somewhere were not transmitting images to it. Even the lowly closet hanger presupposes a rack or bar to hang it on. Each of these is part of a product system. It is precisely their systemic nature that is their main source of economic value. And just as "team players" must play by certain agreed-on rules, systemic products need standards to work. A three-pronged electrical plug doesn't help much if all the wall sockets have only two slots. This distinction between stand-alone and systemic products throws revealing light on an issue that is widening today's information wars all around the world. The French call it la guerre des normes—“the war over standards." Battles over standards are raging in industries as diverse as medical technology, industrial pressure vessels, and cameras.

What are the best LED lights for cars?
Choosing the "best" LED lights for your vehicle depends largely on your specific goals, vehicle type, and budget. There is no single "best" choice, as the ideal choice varies for headlights, fog lights, interior lights, and more. Here are the best recommendations based on common applications and key factors:
🛑 Key Considerations: First Legality and Safety:
Headlights and fog lights: Your most important consideration. Not all LED bulbs are legal or safe for use in halogen reflector/projector housings. Many LED bulbs create excessive glare, diffuse light, and obscure vision for oncoming vehicles.
Look for SAE/DOT or ECE certified bulbs designed for your housing type (reflector or projector). Reputable brands design their bulbs to mimic the position and beam pattern of a halogen filament. Look for LED bulbs with adjustable light patterns (like SNGL) to avoid glare and dark areas.
WARNING: Avoid cheap, uncertified "plug and play" LED bulbs that claim to be universal. They are often illegal and unsafe.
Quality & Reliability: Prefer brands known for good thermal management (large heat sink, efficient fan or copper base plate, copper tubing), durable components and stable output. Cheap LEDs break easily and can damage wiring.
Compatibility: Must match your bulb size model (H11, 9005, etc.), housing type (reflector/projector - ask your supplier!), and usually CANbus compatible to prevent error messages on modern cars.
🚨 Best LED Headlight Bulbs (Low/High Beam) Prioritize: Legal Beam Pattern Lifespan Brightness Heat Management
Most Recommended Brands/Options:
Brand and Model Key Features Best Use Reasons for Recommendation
🔆 Philips Ultinon Pro9000 Good optics, beam focus, strong heat management Performance- and safety-conscious users are willing to invest OEM-like beam pattern benchmark, ECE certification, excellent manufacturing quality 🔆 SNGL Competitive intelligent IC led driver built-in a all-new CANBUS system, the compatibility performance has been greatly improved, top-notch thermal management (copper substrate, copper tube, fan, heat sink), more reasonable price, adjustable light pattern, no glare and dark areas, DOT compliant. 🔆 Beamtech Pro Projector Housing Very popular, solid performer Budget-focused projector headlights Great value, generally good in projectors, good heat dissipation 🔆 Hikari Ultra / F3 Series High brightness, generally good beam focus Users who prioritize maximum output Balanced output, generally good customer support Requires careful aiming 🔆 Sealight Scoparc Series Balanced output and pattern control A solid low-mid-range option High efficiency, high reliability with the right housing, growing in popularity
🌫 Best LED Fog Light Bulbs Priorities: Right color temperature (3000K-4300K yellow/white light) Good cutoff frequency Waterproof/dustproof
Most Recommended:
Diode Dynamics SS3 Sport/Pro: (Complete Replacement Housing) Industry-leading performance and durability, SAE-compliant options.
Morimoto XB LED: (Bulb or Housing) Excellent output and cutoff frequency.
SNGL Series (3000K Yellow): Affordable, efficient, and a popular choice for yellow light bulbs.
💡 Best Interior/License Plate/Turn Light LEDs Priorities: No trouble with CANbus interface Desired color (cool white ~6000K common)
⚠️ Key things to avoid “Generic” bulbs: LED type must match your specific bulb socket/housing.
Cheap LEDs (10-20 pairs): Definitely poor performance, glare, short life, fire risk.
Too high color temperature (>7000K): Blue/violet light scatters badly in rainy and foggy weather. Headlights should choose a color temperature of 5000K-6500K.
Projection type: Projection lenses are more adaptable to LED lenses than reflector lenses.
Skip aiming: Headlight aiming and height must be adjusted after installing any new bulb.
✅ Conclusion For safe, legal headlight beam performance: Philips Ultinon Pro9000 or SNGL are top choices. Be prepared to pay a premium ($100-250 per pair).
For great value projector headlights: Beamtech Pro (check specific fit/beam reviews for your model).
Fog lights: Diode Dynamics SS3 (if budget allows) or SNGL (3000K).
Interior: LASFIT or Sylvania offer reliable and affordable options.
Before buying, always verify accessory compatibility and recommended headlight type on the manufacturer's website! Check forums/groups related to your model for proven experiences. Proper installation and aiming are critical for safety and performance. 💡🔧

OURBOROS AUTOPOIESIS - extreme EFX chain feedback looper

A feedback looper that squeezes the extreme out of your EFX-chain. Perfect for 'Tone scouts', sound-designers and those who like harsh noises. An extended version of the Death by Audio - Total Sonic Annihilation 2 pedal, the METSÄÄN version has a 3 stage MODE selector that switched between 'vanilla'/ORIGINAL and boosted HIGHS or LOWS, which exponentially enhances the sonic possibilities of the original pedal and allows for dynamic frequency shifts in a harsh noise live performance, for example. But this pedal is not just god for harsh noises, but also for subtle tone experimentation, imagine a sound modulator like a delay or tremolo modulating itself in a loop. wonderful textures and abstract saturation might occur. Sometimes, you might get not much out of it and with other set-ups a plethora of unexpected sonic gems. With some EFX chain set-ups an input signal is not needed, as you can generate no-input noise scapes. A experimental sound artist's treasure trove/ pandorra's box. This feedback looper enables you to send the output of your EFX-chain back into it's input, in NORMAL mode, you control the the amount with only the FEEDBACK (Note: this pot works counterclockwise) pot, but in the ACTIVE (indicated by a ultraviolet LED) mode you get hands-on control of GAIN, FEEDBACK, PHASE, FREQUENCY MODE and of course final OUTPUT LEVEL (to tame the potentially destructively loud signal.). The 4x 6.3mm mono sockets on the back side of the pedal are from left to right (when pointing away from you): OUTPUT, RETURN, SEND, INPUT. When the TRUE BYPASS (indicated with a green LED) is engaged, your signal still goes through your EFX-chain in the loop. The Power input is for 'boss-style', center negative 2.1mm DC plugs, that are pretty standard for EFX-pedals it needs 9V DC (PSU not included). Build into a standard die-cast aluminum enclosure individually painted in the the burned out industry camo pattern in chrome and black. Handmade by GRM for METSÄÄN. Buy here. (link to webshop)

as much as going home is my holiday, the fact that it is home after all, for someone who left home for uni and hasn’t really been back much since (not bc I don’t love my family, I miss them terribly but that city is not really for me), feels almost like the end of a holiday. It feels like I’m going back to something I’d been on a long, fever-dreamed, endlessly long holiday from.
I go about my day to day life, charmed by the world around me. I immerse myself in music, in art; people say I have endless energy for all those gigs I go to and have admired my enthusiasm for music, but I sometimes catch glimpses of the gaping-mouthed fool being exposed to something they could never have for years: I’m hungry, I’m making up for lost time, I have to see all those shows that never came by mine before. I’m light-headed from possibility. I’m drunk on the power of accessibility, the way things are in reach, the yeses I hear, the ability to be an insider in places that were always shut out to us, that we were seemingly invisible to. I pace myself but I find myself making up for lost teens: all those ‘world tours’ that would skip an entire continent. All those searches for something local that was happening and was truly ours, not propped up by a film industry, not bowing to the political opinions of a ruling party in fear of being mobbed, something that was by us, about us and for us, uncensored. The joys of community.
I immerse myself in people I would never have talked to before, in all those places I was either afraid to or told not to reach for (safety reasons). I am a child inserting my fingers into a socket. Now, that has happened to me when I was a kid and I got shocked so bad that I had to have electrical tape wrapped on my burned fingers for a bit and had to lie down flat on the floor (earthing) for a few minutes. I am a child plugging my fingers in a feverish dream where nothing goes wrong. Somehow, I have wandered and wandered and I am alive. I don’t always know what’s going on, but somehow, I am on the road. I am on some path. To somewhere.
And now I’m going home. It’s been ages since I’ve been, and I feel like I’ll have my feet grounded again. It feels like a punctuation mark, more of a comma, some sort of pause. It’s not a full stop. I have my whole life ahead of me. I’m sure I’m not alone, I’m sure there’s a whole world of people out there that have similarly mixed feelings about going home. You go to visit, but you can never truly return. Some people get homesick and realise they really do belong where they come from, some others have always known they were meant to leave and never come back. These sentiments are not something you can ever explain to an immigration officer, but they are unspoken truth that so many must feel in their very bodies, in their expression, in the way they carry themselves, their outlooks on life, the way they dress, the way they speak (oh, how much of a world is contained within how much you hide and how much you let on! How much you retain and how much you let go.)
I am who I am because of where I come from. I will always carry that with me, and with pride too. I don’t hide it (unless I’m tired and making a quick, anonymous trip to the grocery store in which case yeah, sometimes I do have a generic grocery store pleasantries accent for when I don’t want to explain my entire background, or give it away in my speech and accent. Yes this applies to taxis too, call it the cab pleasantries accent if you like).
But I am also who I am because I left, because there are certain things I cannot take for granted, because there are things I know are different in different parts of the world. You need both those things to make a whole me, and as much as sometimes I do wish I didn’t have to carry two halves on my back, two disjointed halves that could almost never be glued together, I also know I wouldn’t be me without them both.
And so, going back to the first is an interesting moment to look back, for sure. Do people expect you to have changed? Many people don’t get to see the second half of you, and it surprises them. You feel the need to be cautious about showing too much of your change: not yet, watch out. Don’t betray your roots. They feel strong to point out your bends and turns: I am an unbroken bone. You are healing. You will never be as strong as a bone that has never broken. But we are not bones. They too have these pieces they carry on their back that have been glued together. No one ever has a straight path in life. If there was ever a bone analogy, they have patellas (kneecaps, as I now will remember until the end of my life because of the first search result from having googled the band many times). These bones that join other bones. Covered in muscle and ligaments and stuff. Joints that bend and carry (some) weight and move. To have joints is not to be broken. But who is to explain that to someone who will never see you as theirs again. Neither here, neither there.
Anyway, it’s been an interesting six years, and now I’m going home. Tomorrow’s the last day. I vaguely remember writing a shitty poem on the toilet the night before I got on a plane to leave home the first time, it was probably bad and I don’t remember the contents anymore, but it kept coming back to the line ‘last night on earth’. I can’t remember if for better or worse. This time, I’m writing a shitty emo essay that is going to cause a lot of people mild scrolling annoyance (sorry). Which is still more of an impact than writing in a notebook on the toilet ever had. Guess these are just moments that cause you to sit back and think about what you’ve done for a little bit.
This post wasn’t meant to get this long. This was just meant to be a little observation on the fact that you have the luxury of space at home, and that means I’m probably going to be reading paperback books again. I’ve just bought Jarvis Cocker’s Good Pop, Bad Pop for my flight. I’m probably going to luxuriously buy myself a few paperback poetry anthologies. What a life. I’m obviously looking forward to seeing mum and dad and my sister again.
Should the poetry books not fit in my suitcase, I can always leave them at home. Motorcycle Boy*, maybe my sister might even read them. I don’t have to worry about donating them or binning them, or feeling guilty as people look at me exasperatedly while helping me move into my next independent apartment (modest, naturally…): why do you make your own life so hard?? Why did you need to carry so many books when you know you’re going to move?? But those are the small indulgences of going home. Also (and this one’s v specific to my situation) books are so much cheaper at mine. Holy fuck, I’d be out of money instantly if I was spending $24 per book I bought, that is absolutely insane.
*Motorcycle Boy is a song by Fontaines D.C., where singer Grian Chatten is sort of indirectly talking to his little brother who was nowhere near as into literature and poetry as Grian, but after Grian left home, his brother was left to discover it on his own, and Grian sees his brother’s growing connection with literature as almost his way of connecting with his older brother in his absence.
#Long post#i feel I first must apologise to everyone that scrolled furiously going ‘I did NOT want to real allat shit’#Second: fuck you it’s my blog. Third: yes this probably belonged more on a Wordpress but fuck it#The diaries of a first gen immigrant#No subsequent gen has quite the same experience#Long#personal#essay. Jfc.#Writing#Essay#culture#heritage#immigrant culture. I think some of it transcends exactly where you come from. You sort of feel the same way.
