AU where c!Dream gets turned into a barn owl like RIGHT after doomsday and no one can fucking find him. This is because he spends 24/7 chilling on c!Technos shoulder and begging for scritches. Also pranking c!Phil, c!Phil’s crows, and c!Ranboo - usually be staring through windows in the middle of the night

Omg yes yes yes.

Sometimes Dreams grip on Technos shoulder gets too strong, making it hurt a bit, or it just tears through his cloak, so Techno got out the old shoulder pat he used to have when Phil could still fly. Perfect for Dream to sit on :}

Dream also regularly grabs food for Techno and the hounds. Especially when hes hunting with Techno.

Also, just Dream regularly nuzzling into Techno. Snuggling into him when sleeping and not on his usual sleeping place. Also occasionally just being with the hounds. Sometimes standing on them (like below) or sleeping next to them

Im bad with thinking of pranks but consider him sometimes just flying from behind, grabbing his hat, and putting it on Techno or over a crow.

He regularly scares one of the crows by flying past them. (Same with ranboo, actually.) Dream enjoys it each time and at some point Ranboo notices the owl and doesnt get as scared anymore.

(Maybe also consider Ranboo at one point offers food to the owl and now also gets owl to sit on him. Now Dream gets scritches from three people :D)

There's been a few times where someone tried to intrude on their home. At least till he lets out a couple of screeches :D. Some have enough sense to leave. Some go further and get some more scare tactics. The further they head, the more likely for them to get scratches till they finally leave.

imagine rivalsduo as owls. they sleep in the same hollow all fluffy. they come out at night to scare ppl. someone has mistaken them for mothman before because they're THAT scary. a toddler saw dream once and called him a pigeon and now Techno won't stop calling him that

and dream especially likes to sometimes mess with people and intentionally scares them :D which especially works well with him being a barn owl and they have such a nice screech that could be mistaken for a human screaming the toddler calling Dream a pigeon reminds me of how when i met with an online friend last year and i saw a seagull, i said owl. but also considering that toddler seeing dream again in the future and being not scared of him and dream reluctently letting the child pet him Dream thinks Techno is far away but Techno is just in a tree nearby, watching and barely keeping himself from laughing as he smirks with the softest eyes

Dream flies back to the hollow where Techno already is waiting and the first words out of Technos mouth are "how were the pets?" cue Dream stating he did not let himself be pet.

and Techno is the bigger of the two cause Eagle-Owl are bigger than Barn Owls on average (listen he lives in a snowy region but snowy owl doesnt fit his vibe quite as well. some kind of eagle-owl fits way more)

Okay. took even longer than i thought. I forget 50% of my fics after posting them

so!

1st⭐: Spirit of a Sword

The scene where Dream shifts into a wolf to guard Techno while the guy is still recharging. I had thoughts of that since 2023 at the very least. Back then it was more direct hiding among the hounds. This time it's more, a wolf is the least suspicious to find.

2nd⭐: Phantom of a Book

The owl i picked for Dream is not the first i wanted to go with. I wanted Barn Owl cause my faves and i had a literal presentation on why that owl specifically fits c!Dream. even posted a similar thing on my sideblog. But that owl might have been too big so i picked a smaller one that still fit. Screech Owls are one of the smaller Owl groups.

3rd⭐: Phantom of a Book (again)

All animals that appeared are people I know :D I didn't know where to go at some point with the story and a friend suggested to kill someone. After a bit i knew who i could kill (c!Q) and i asked them if they wanted to be an animal that kills him. They said yes and became the Arctic Fox :D. Wanting more to join in, I asked in the discord I'm in with them if anyone else wanted in as a wolf. That's where a bunch of them came from. Emthynbeloved (Arctic Fox), JuneBug_1320 on twt (Chestnut Wolf), @ravynwillow (Snowy Wolf), @fossilfigalpha (Woods Wolf that likes to steal Techno's glasses), @yawndabox (Spotted Wolf). The squirrel that got shortly mentioned is also based on a certain someone :D (and something i wanna bring in more as thanks for them and their owl mentions in stories :} )

4th⭐: Phantom of a Book (again again) (i blame it being the most recent fic of mine)

STARS! So i already mentioned in the notes that the Lava Walker is based on another fic of mine. The fic in question is Little Strider The constellations I made up also have zodiac signs replacements that are relatively similar. Example given: Eight-legged Creature (constellation that looks like a spider) replaces Scorpio. Leo got Great Dragon, a constellation based on the Ender Dragon :D

5th⭐: Side Quest again not really a specific scene just the cats in general. All three cats - Demi, Faith and Duo - are meant to resemble c!Dream, c!Punz and c!Ranboo. That's also somewhat where the names came from: Demi was shortened from Determination cause of how determined c!Dream is with his goal. Faith cause of the faith c!punz has in c!Dream each other. Duo cause split-coloured appearance + how c!Ranboo often tries to be on both sides of the conflict/stay neutral.

20. Have you noticed any patterns in your fics? Words/expressions that appear a lot, themes, common settings, etc?

More or less. It's common for me to write about a kidnapped/imprisoned character. Also i love to place my characters in forests for some reason from what I remember right now. Also shapeshifter who shifts into an animal to keep watch over someone else. Activaley a part of two fics, though there's many AUs with that. Also all of these three things transfer over to fics and AUs not DSMP related, like the few dnd fics and AUs i have, or the Ninjago one.

21. Would you ever collaborate with another writer for a story?

100%. Or well 80%? 100% if it wasn't for me taking ages to write something sometimes .-. I love coming up with others for ideas. Both just cause hanging out with others and it just widens what ideas could come up. Writing with someone else could be just as fun :D
