yes, fuck cops. but also if you think you understand WHY cops are bad, you should probably dig more into why. if you're completely self assured that you know the full breadth of why the system of policing is so rotten, you have failed yourself.

#exoticbutterstxt #i still have a lot of books i need to read about this topic #and theres a lot i still dont understand #and/or will never be intimately familiar with #however i make an effort to learn about this and other injustices #i've had bad experiences with police but because i have the benefit of white feminine perceived fragility #i am shielded from the brunt of what people of color experience #and all i can do to try and understand is continue to be open to learning #instead of assuring myself i get the gist and therefore dont need to learn any more #and you should be doing the same
