        1 blog year anniversary + grendoc’s anniversary!

   november has come and with it comes a series of major anniversaries! not only did i start writing this tricky little bastard (who’s come to mean the fucking world to me) as of november 2nd, 2017, i also made an amazing friend in @grcndel around the very same time. it’s difficult to put into words how ruben has impacted me as a person, or to find a way to describe ruben himself. you’ll never meet anyone else like him - ruben is compassionate, ruben is hilarious, ruben is endlessly inventive and a huge source of inspiration for me not only as an artist, but as a human being. i’ve become a much stronger person since we met; he’s encouraged so much of my growth and has helped me find the nerve to stand up for myself and for what i believe in. together we’ve learned how to communicate our feelings and not to be ashamed of them. i personally learned how important it is to be my own person as opposed to sitting passively, or going along with what the people around me want or expect. it’s a journey i’ve needed to go on for years, and i’ll forever be grateful that ruben got to be part of it with me, and helped guide me along the way.

   as for gren and murdoc themselves, i don’t really know where to start with them either! both of these characters are deeply precious to me, as individuals and as a unit. they’ve been through so much - in their respective canons and together - and there’s still so much left to tell. we’re still at the very, very beginning of their escapades, which ruben and i are so excited to share the rest with you guys. i speak for us both when i say we’re so grateful for all the interest and enthusiasm that’s been shown towards them. we’re so happy that these two have manage to inspire as much happiness and hope in others as they’ve inspired in us, and hope they continue to do so in the future!
