On the day you were born, you were entered into the intercooperative social contract by which most humans abide.
You literally would not have been fed, clothed, sheltered, or even so much as taught how to talk without people being willing to tolerate your existence and assist you in a civil, courteous, and/or neutrally polite way.
Do not break the social contract.
Those who abide by the contract are covered by it and get to benefit from it.
Those who break the contract are no longer covered by it, and thus are not be allowed to continue to benefit from it.
There are those of us who will uphold the covenants of the social contract...including the punishments one may accrue from breaking it.
Do not break the social contract of mutual tolerance and bare minimum courtesy with ill behavior.
Being nice to someone you don’t like is not manipulation btw it’s being civil

What is the Amendment 80 Program? a 2022 Overview
If you are related to the commercial fishing business in (or close to) Alaska, then you must have heard of Amendment 80. If you have not, or you want to know more about it, then this article is for you: we will tell you everything you need to know about Amendment 80 Program, up to date until 2022.
What is the Amendment 80 Program? The sea-food sector employs more workers than any other non-government sector in Alaska, around 60.000 people. In that context, the Amendment 80 sector is a fleet that is made up of trawl catcher-processors. They target a variety of fish species in the Bering sea, around the Aleutian Islands and in the Gulf of Alaska. Rock sole, Yellowfin sole and Flathead sole, Pacific cod, Pacific Ocean Perch and Atka Mackerel are some of them. Those fish are certified as sustainable.
As Alaska’s biggest export the fish caught has global destinations, though the impact is local. Amendment 80 has led to job creation in areas like shipping, ship repair and maintenance, longshore and cold shipping, which leads to a financially healthy state.
So, what if I am working in the commercial fishing industry but not as a processor? Things get a bit more complicated.
Exceptions to the Amendment 80 The amendment 80 allows the creation of cooperatives, so qualified vessels can enter partnership with the processors once they have submitted their proper applications. There are some exceptions, however, that give some species sideboard limits, prohibit vessels from participating in any fishing of Gulf of Alaska flatfish or disallows vessels with less than 10 weeks of experience from participating in the cooperatives.
Commercial Fishing Permits Center Can Help you With your Amendment 80 Permit A list of marine life is covered by Amendment 80, a list commercial fishing boats should be aware of to avoid any legal complications. Flatfish Exchange Application, Amendment 80 Vessel Replacement, Amendment 80 Quota Share App, Amendment 80 QS Transfer App, Amendment 80 Intercooperative Transfer CQ, Amendment 80 Cooperative Quota Permit App and Amendment 80 Limited Access Permit can be processed at our site.

Modern Olive Growing Starting to Overtake Traditional Methods
Traditional olive farming accounts for 70 percent of the full surface space of the world’s olive bushes and professionalduction from these groves accounts for 60 percent of the worldwide whole.
In the meantime, modern high-density and super-high-density groves constitute solely 30 percent of the world’s olive tree surface space, however their yields account for 40 percent of world olive oil manufacturing.

These are among the information emerging from analysis just lately presented by the Agri-Meals Enterprise College (ESNEA), Intercoop Consultoría and Juan Vilar Strategic Consulting at a conference in Spain.
Eighty-seven percent of the worldwide surface space of olive groves are positioned in 9 Mediterranean countries, the place traditional olive farming nonetheless dominates the scene.

Yearly, 1.5 percent of the curhire world olive tree surface area is transformed into modern or intensive orchards, the place professionalductivity far exceeds the capacity in traditional groves.
Right this moment, the worldwide surface of traditional orchards stays at 8.1 million hectares, of which 3.7 million – almost one-third – cannot be mechanized. The world has simply over 4.4 million olive farms, with an average dimension of two.6 hectares.

Given these numbers, the Spanish research famous that the trail for traditional olive developing is to put money into quality and differentiation, comparable to natural farming, from which the additional virgin olive oil can command higher prices.
Nonetheless, modern and intensive groves can pursue similar targets, the consultants added, and their profitability can develop much more by efficiently managing professionalduction prices.
Based on the professionaljections, the number of organic olive groves will continue to develop steadily because of the elevated demand for sustainin a position and environmalestally-friendly merchandise

I think Tarol’s descriptions and hypothesis are pretty strong, that it’s a holdover from our primate ancestry using social grooming to help improve not only individual health, but the health overall of a particular group.
I used to get ASMR during certain situations a long, long time ago, but I was shamed for them whenever I tried to talk about it, and conditioned to avoid them...and I don’t live in a situation where I get much in the way of  “social grooming” style activities these days.
I do remember clearly that the tingly feeling raised the hair on my scalp, on the back of my neck, on my arms...which is something that would seriously help with a companion grooming thorugh one’s fur, as gorillas, etc, tend to do.
LIving in close physical proximity does a couple of different things to a species.  For one, it provides group help if a predator or other threat attacks; you’re not alone in defending yourself, so you and your companions are more likely to survive.  The more eyes & ears, the higher the chance of noticing something bad in time to either freeze in place as it passes by, fight it as a group, or flee from it before it gets too close.
On the flip side, if one of you develops a mutated bacteria or virus that causes an illness, it’ll spread very quickly throughout the group.  Ticks, fleas, and other parasites are often a source of this problem (such as ticks spreading Lyme disease, horrible thing)...so social grooming helps check for and get rid of such things.
(It’s like a very, very primitive sort of vaccination, only our vaccines are hellaciously more safe than digging through each other’s scalp hair or checking each other’s backs, looking for ticks.  And no, vaccines don’t fucking give you autism.  Autism has always existed. Just look back through fairytales and look at all those descriptions of “changeling childs” and “fey children”...they’re literally descriptions of kids with various types of autism. Don’t make me smack you into next week for perpetuating that bullshit modern myth. I’d really rather not have to.)
Social grooming requires a great deal more awareness of social interaction.  It forces the brain to evolve into more complex thought patterns, including more of an awareness of the passing of time, that our actions yesterday can have consequences today, and that today’s actions can have consequences tomorrow.
The reason why dogs (wolves) were easier to tame and domesticate than foxes (it’s taken several tens of thousands of years to get domesticated fox companions) is because wolves were already social/pack animals.  They were already used to needing to gauge intercooperative actions and strategies for survival.  Humans just upped their game by breeding the ones who were the most socially responsive to our particular pack needs and pack structures...and then breeding them into further specializations.
Retrievers need the stimulation of chasing something that’s been thrown, because that’s what they’re bred to respond to.  Little yappy dogs are bred to be yappy, because they were bred to give alerts whenever a stranger drew near, so on and so forth.  But...retrievers don’t need to yap and bark a lot, and little yappy dogs may be all meh when you toss a ball around them.  Humans are going to be similar.  Not all of us will get the ASMR thing in our lives, but some of us do have it.
...Of course, we might both be wrong, but I think Tarol Hunt makes a pretty strong case for why ASMR exists.
I’m including it here because this could make for a cool science fiction twist on aliens, whether it’s biology or culture.  As we all love to joke, humans will go forth into the galaxy, find the oddest things that could possibly rip us apart and munch on us for breakfast...and we’ll call it “cute” and “adorable” and pet it.  As in, groom it...and that means we could astonish the local sentients by “taming” “the terrifying Zeeblemorphf, a fearsome vicious predator that devours hovercars for breakfast!   And all the human did was stroke its fur to tame it??”
Creative food for thought, at any rate.

The Forms and Knowledge You Need to Be in Compliance With Amendment 80
Are you up to date on Amendment 80? Do you have all of the Alaskan Commercial Fishing Permits that you need to keep your business operating how you want? As busy as you are running your maritime business, the last thing you have time for is to worry about having all of your documentation taken care of. We can help. At our site, you can find just about all of the different permits you’ll need to fish in Alaska how you want to. That’s certainly true for the permits around this amendment. Amendment 80 Explained When this amendment was signed by the North Pacific Fishery Management Council, it was done in pursuit of broad goals. Namely, the idea was to boost both the utilizing and retaining of fishery resources by the non-AFA trawl catcher/processor fleet. Namely, it did so by making it so that non-AFA trawl catcher/processor vessels of all lengths would be covered in the groundfish retention standard (GRS). Additionally, it established a limited access privilege program for non-AFA trawl catcher processors (so as to reduce any GRS compliance costs) while authorizing allocating groundfish species to cooperatives that harvest. Those are just some of the goals of the amendment. As ever, if you have any questions, our staff will be more than happy to answer them. Permits Related to the Amendment At our site, we have many forms related to this amendment. For Example, the “Cooperative Quota Permit App” makes it so that an Amendment 80 cooperative can participate in the program. Additionally, we have “limited access permit” forms that are also what they sound like. One thing to keep in mind about many of these forms related to the amendment: they have to be received by the powers that be no later than 1700 hours A.L.T. (5 PM) on November 1st. (To be specific, that’s the November 1st prior to the year that you wish to participate in the Amendment fishery.) Transfers You May Need Many Alaskan commercial fishing professionals come to our site not so that they can enter the Amendment fishery, but rather so that they can transfer the permits they have. To that end, we make it possible to transfer the Quota Share application you may have, as well as an “Intercooperative Transfer CQ” as well. When it comes to this amendment, we’ve got you covered. More Alaskan Commercial Fishing Permits That said, we’ve got you covered when it comes to far more than just this amendment. For example, as of this writing, we offer commercial fishing permits in Alaska for more than a dozen different species. Of all of the commercial fishing opportunities around the United States, some of the most lucrative very well may be in and around Alaska. At our site, we not only offer the forms that you need to be able to take advantage of those, but also an easier way to fill them out, too. Questions? Just call (866) 292-4204.
