Three Were Burned

▲— It was a rather nice day out and Flame was feeling particularly sociable.  It wasn't too common that he was feeling sociable enough to actually seek out conversation, rather than just say hello whenever someone sat next to him on a bench.  Which seemed to be how he introduced himself to most people outside of school.

        Even though he hadn't planned it, though he rarely ever did, Flame had found himself once more in the park.  Though, as a change of pace he was sat on a swing, gently swaying back and forth on the seat.  No one was around, which made him feel almost as if his eagerness for conversation wasted today.  It was more than a little upsetting, were he entirely honest.

        As he swung on the swingset, he noticed someone had taken the other swing, which surprised him that he hadn't noticed.  He had apparently become too engrossed in the act to notice.  After the initial surprise wore off, the teen stopped his swing and looked to the other.  He tilted his head, waiting to see if they would stop.  When it became apparent they wouldn't, he cleared his throat.  "Hello." He piped up.  "I'm Flame, if you care to know that."  He said, a little louder than when he'd said hello, so that he could be heard.
