Y'all as much as I want to rush towards naming the newest ghoul with you guys, I think we should wait at least a month before settling on a name. It's kinda fun to have at least one ghoul with multiple names (e.g., Haze Ghoul with all the names she's picked up...my favorite name to use for her is obviously Haze, but...) I really don't want to repeat that with the newest Ghoul. It makes things confusing and I really don't want naming confusion to be a new trend in the fandom--also, we barely know this ghoul yet! I think we should wait a bit! That's my two cents, anyway.

Either way, although I'm fine with Storm, I feel like we should come up with a LITTLE bit more of a creative name. (But nothing too crazy--basically best fit with the elemental naming scheme the other ghouls have). I'm personally jonesing for Cyclone or Hurricane. Something powerful!

Doof: "You see Perry The Platypus, about a few weeks ago I entered The Tumblr Sexyman Showdown. It's a contest for only the sexiest of men-- now now, Perry the Platypus, before you roll your eyes at me, it's not the conventional kind of sexy, no, no! It's the pathetic, the silly, the unconventional! Only for the acquired tastes. Like me~!! So I joined in, and you wouldn't believe it! I plowed through the competition! Bracket after bracket, I dominated the votes. That is, until the final round... when I was put up against Stanley Pines of someplace called 'Gravity Falls'-- for some reason, even though he claimed to come from a place called Gravity Falls and I come from the Tri-State Area, the competition listed me to come from someplace called 'Phineas and Ferb', and I have no idea where that is or who those people are--I was kicked to the curb! He won by a landslide! Well, not literally though, that's a metaphor--that's how Bill Cipher won against Jack Frost from Rise of the Guardians, and I KNOW that place doesn't exist--b-but anyway, Stanley won and I only got second. And it doesn't make any sense! Sure, Stanley is similar to what the true Sexyman is, but he's not the greatest! For one thing, he's not that pathetic--jeez, if anyone is the most pathetic here, it's me! He's not that tragic-backstory-able, or anything, he--and worse yet, he's HOT! I mean, he's not that much of an acquired taste! Sure, he's older, but that's it!! Clearly, the people are biased! Which is why I made...THIS!"

Doof: "BEHOLD! THE UNHANDSOME-INATOR!!!!"

Doof: "With this, I can make anyone ugly--so ugly that their ugliness is JUUUST too ugly to be a Tumblr Sexyman! But too handsome to be truly ugly...and I can also tweak it to make myself just a little more handsome, hehe! With this, I will make the ENTIRE TRI-STATE AREA Sexyman ugly, and shoot myself so I will be the most acquired-taste-handsome out of all of them, winning the love of all of the TRI-STATE AREA, AND ENACTING MY REVENGE AGAINST THE TUMBLR SEXYMAN CONTEST!!!"

Doof: "--Or wait, come to think of it, this isn't really revenge, I mean, the contest's over and it won't come back until next year so this scheme prooobably should've been postponed until then... not to mention this inator isn't exactly that tweaked, it's a rushed job and has some...ahaha...side effects...unless I CRANK UP THE RANGE OF THE INATOR!"

Doof: "Yes, Perry The Platypus, I will become the most tumblr-sexyman handsome by proxy in all of the tri-state area AND GRAVITY FALLS, OREGON!!!"

*beat*

Stan, still grinning: "...whatever that is."

*A beat. Then the door to the Mystery Shack slams open. It's Ford.*

Ford: "Stanley! I'm back!"

Stanley: "Hey, sixer. Back from another one of your little adventures?"

Ford: "I suppose you could call it that! Ever been to the tri-state area? There are hundreds of anomalies there! Did you know that all the platypuses are teal there?"

Stanley: "Yeah, yeah...well, make sure to tell me later. I'm reading the paper."

Ford: "Well, don't get too absorbed. We're going to Italy tomorrow, remember? We're visiting the Vatican! Lots of great things to explore there! We might even see the pope!"

I know plenty of y'all don't like Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man [the show] because y'know, how its Peter's VA said something douchey and all, but like, I feel as though that, just for a second, it's important for me to share with yall that when Harry first shared his first name, I had forgotten that Harry Osborn existed.

Therefore, for a few minutes I lived in a beautiful world where in the newest canonical Spiderman dimension in the multiverse, Mary Jane was a confirmed POC male, genderbent with the rhyming name Harry (keeping the reddish hair to maintain a recognizable trait) and this version of Peter Parker was going to be confirmed bisexual in a later love plot as he grows beyond his crush on Pearl, which explained why Harry was in so much of the marketing.

And then I remembered Harry Osborn existed and then I fell to my knees realizing the dream was never real and yet...

Moral of the story is I still want them to kiss, and also Parksborn solos

NEW ART CHALLENGE

So I know that Filbrick punishing Stan by putting him out in the rain with that sign "Extra Stan - $3 or better deal!" was pretty dang sad, but...

I feel like we're forgetting that the price that he was "selling" Stan at was NOT that cheap at the time.

Today, $3 is just a drop in the bucket. To modern eyes, $3 looks like Filbrick considers Stanley completely worthless and is ready to just throw him out for the price it takes to buy a candy bar. But back in the 1960s, $3 was a good amount of money. It's equivalent to about $30 dollars today (yes, 10 times the amount). $30 still isn't a lot, but it definitely isn't that cheap (especially back then). Most goods in the 1960s could be bought for less than a dollar, so the average shopping trip would usually go up to about $3 - $7. Also, Filbrick was "accepting higher offers" meaning the offers could, if Stan was actually being "bid on" go up higher to numbers like $50.

You might think that this makes this scene a liiiittle less painful, but it doesn't. $3 was a large amount, but not THAT large. It's the kind of money that can be lost and made back in a week or so if you have a good job. Maybe even just a few days. It still isn't a lot.

In the 1960s, Stan would basically be worth (each item listed is worth 3 dollars, not the entire list combined, by the way):

• 3 large containers of Tide Laundry Detergent

• 9 boxes of tissues

• 3 drive-in movie tickets

• 30 Apples

• 3 pounds of pork chops

• 3 giant sized tubes of toothpaste

In other words, all filbrick thought stan was worth wasn't even something tiny or stupid, but just the price of the plainest necessities. Minimum price of a shopping trip for such. It was worth than saying he was worthless, he was saying he was mediocre, extremely average, and plain. He wasn't nothing, he just MEANT nothing.

So I'm jumping on the bandwagon. For anybody who's making fics, here are my best guesses as to who the "parents" of each of the petri dish children are in Karma.

Before I start, I want to clarify here that, judging by the way that these kids were made, every child is the product of one male character and one female character. So, unfortunately, no Mizisua kids or ivantill kids, or anything else in between.

From left to right (in the scene itself):

Hyuna/Till - They definitely have Hyuna's hair, but those sharp eyes and teal irises are 100% Till's. They also look to have a bit of Hyuna's face shape.

Sua/Till or Mizi/Till? - Okay, work with me here. This is the hardest one for me to figure out. I've seen a lot of people argue that this is actually a Mizi/Till child. In total honesty, I'm not too sure myself--if the theories about how every child corresponds to a cover are right, then this is 100% a Mizi/Till kid. Sua never covered a Till song, and vice versa, but Mizi and Till did have an UTTE cover together. But from appearance alone, I'd assume this is a Sua/Till child. The choppy and thin hair consistency mixed with the silver hair really signifies a mix of Sua and Till to me--however, I could definitely be wrong. Unlike all the other kids, this little one isn't showing their eyes, making it harder to tell what genes they have. I'll reluctantly say that this is most likely a Mizi/Till child, but unless Vivimeng releases a comic or something that gives us a better look at the kids, I'll never be sure.

Mizi/Ivan - They're 100% a Mizi/Ivan kid. The pink hair is obviously mizi, and those dark eyes with the red irises are characteristic of Ivan. It's kind of a no-brainer.

Luka/Hyuna (and maybe Sua?) - This kid is, at first glance, very very clearly a mix of Luka--the tan skin is obviously Hyuna's, and other than that, the kid is basically a carbon copy of Luka. That said, their eyes are notably more akin to Sua's than Hyuna or Luka's. I checked the footage to see if there was another angle, assuming that this was just a lighting issue and the purple-ish tone was actually something like Hyuna's grey eyes reflecting in the light, but this kid undoubtedly has purple-ish eyes. Again, if the cover-kid theory is right, then this would make sense--ROMH was sung by Luka, Hyuna, and Sua, and this kid is definitely a mix of the three. How the aliens pulled that off? Don't ask me.

Luka/Sua - The second easiest one (the first being the Ivanmizi kid), in my opinion. They're very short, like both Luka and Sua, and have Sua's hair consistency with Luka's golden eyes. Very clearly Luka and Sua mashed together. They even have the same passive expression.

And thats the most detailed breakdown I can give you. I know I sent out a post confidently claiming that the silver-haired kid was a SuaTill child earlier today, though I took another look and am definitely reevaluating myself...Either way, hope this was a helpful read, and happy fanficking!
