xiao had seen the game before, his friend(s) had talked about it and encouraged him to try it himself. Xiao wasn’t much of a gamer but he thought he’d give it a shot.

Lets say, he loathed you. You did not stop talking, gods above, did you ever run out of topics? 

it did NOT help that he had to of pulled you first! Stuck listening to your voicelines everytime he took a step.

one of the voicelines, though, caught his attention.

Yeah… your okay… he can keep listening until he gets a new character. (he did in fact get a new character, but he didnt switch away from you.)

Xiao as a selfshipper is quiet about it. He thinks it’s embarrassing how much comfort he finds in you, despite his friends telling him otherwise.

Xiao is also quite lonely, and.. your voicelines, always sounding so excited,,, (sounding excited to talk to him, or his character he guesses…) he actually has your good morning voiceline as his alarm tone.

Xiao adores fanart of you, while he far prefers getting your content from the actual game (“fanfiction..? whats that?”) he loves seeing fanart of you. Especially the softer ones, he adores seeing the soft more vulnerable side of you.

He played the HELL out of you character quest. He tried to do everything he could to get his likability from you up. (he kept getting the wrong answers!? so why is it so high… hes not complaining though…)

he embarrassingly has spent actual primogems (his irl currency…) on the game… for you… not his fault at all! why’d the devs put you in that handsome outfit?! the games trying to scam him… 42 primos… gone…

xiao loves it when you get new content! it always comforts him so much! He loves hearing whatever new voicelines or conversations with other characters you have! he’ll analyze whatever content he gets and use it to help him understand your character more!
