the difference between till at the start of round 6 and round 7

he doesn't seem like he's trying at all during round 6, having already fully given up living after losing mizi

but in round 7, even though he's lost even more, he's clearly putting all he has left into it

and the reason for that... has to be ivan, right?

he must have recognized ivan sacrificed himself for him, so for the sake of ivan's feelings till tries his absolute best to respond to them and perform that till sings at all here is for ivan

...but at the same time ivan is what haunts him

obviously, right? there's no way watching someone you were so close to you die like that right in front of you can give you actual "strength" (and this isn't even getting into the kiss...) contrary to ivan's (clearly wrong) conviction that till doesn't care enough for him to become a trauma to him, that's exactly what happens

this inextricable mix of love and hate, hurting and healing... this is the tragedy of their relationship to the end no matter how much ivan and till care for each other, they can't ever cure each other

if sif's island is still physically there, there could be an argument that the inhabitants are also still there and perfectly fine, and the island is just separated from the outside world. the island's separation from the rest of the world happened while sif was on that boat after running away from home. so in this theoretical situation, from sif's parents' pov, they actually ran away and never came back.

do you think their parents ever wonder what happened to them or what he's doing now. if he's living his life away from them in the outside world, eating all the non-veggies to his content, or if something bad happened and that's why they never came back. do you think they tried to go after him, but forgot everything immediately after leaving the island, and are now just living their lives in vaugarde or somewhere else, not knowing that they got there because they went looking for their missing child or that they had a child in the first place. do you think they ever ran into each other at some point and had no idea of their relation to one another.

The obvious solution was to put him in the Lazarus Pits and resurrect him. Although there was always a risk of him going mad, the pros far outwayed the cons.

Except the Pit didn't give him back.

Ra's, unwilling to lose his perfect heir, turned to cloning. The result? Many, many failures, and finally, one Damian Al Ghul.

Damian wasn't perfect. Far from it, really. He differed from Danyal in such critical ways, from their mannerisms to their loyalties, but.

Ra's had his heir, and that was enough.

it is very telling that average genshin players cannot comprehend seeing an actual mature, qualified leader that is actually good at taking her job seriously after meeting archons who either is still childish, clowning whimsically, or straight up incompetent.

#it's kinda funny that the best God in terms of actually fulfilling their duties to the T is the mortal one #there's absolutely nothing wrong with the other archons their flaws make their characters extremely compelling #but it's kind of insane to call mavuika bland for being good at her job as if she's still not inherently flawed with the martyrdom complex #people keep pointing out to her: aren't you tired? don't you have dreams of your own? isn't your want important too?#she's such a fascinating character yknow #mavuika #that is #she cares so deeply about the humans in natlan and she has abundant love for them and actively doing things to give natlan a better future #and yet she could NOT remotely take her own advice and wisdom for herself #you kinda have to remember not all archons are here because they want to be archon #nahida did not ask to be an archon neither did ei #and don't even get me started on furina #zhongli and venti take archonhood like parenting as expected from them but they're so ancient that they're entering their silly granpa era #focalors is the first instance we see of 'new' god doing something... godly #she is forever the punkest archon for what she did but her plan still equired a great suffering nonetheless #after all when you want to save your nation by going AGAINST the system you cannot do it without sacrificing a soul or two #which leads me to why people think it's irrational to kill off capitano when what he's doing is also punk #focalors dared celestia by returning the hydro authority to the dragon they stole it from and destroyed hydro throne #forever changing the institution that is The Seven #capitano dared ronova by giving his immortality to lord of the night and by that rewriting ronova's curse on him #he changed the rules of the ley lines forever #anyway.#narratively speaking capitano is a great foil for mavuika and I'm just glad it's him we met in natlan #hyv didn't make the short animated for mavuika just for you to call her bland

#neo twewy #neo the world ends with you #ntwewy #twewy #the world ends with you #shoka sakurane #my art #the girl of all time...#i love shoka. so much. she's probably my favorite neo character #i think her demeanor is interesting and i like how it reflects a lot of her former struggles and insecurities #like how she places little value on her life and how she isn't used to being taken seriously or being appreciated #and also how. similar to rindo. she felt directionless before she discovered an artist/brand to look up to #also there's her psyche. telewarp #i think a lot of the character's psyches are kind of clear in their interpretation #like fret's arc involves rediscovering himself and learning to be more genuine #and his psyche is remind. like how he needs to remind himself of his own identity #but i've seen a lot of different interpretations for shoka's psyche (which is to say. the “true” meaning is less clear)#i've seen some people discuss how telewarp could indicate that she killed herself by falling from a high place #my interpretation was that it's just because she's constantly moving. both figuratively and literally #she moves from biological family to shinjuku reapers to the wicked twisters #she moves from shinjuku to shibuya #and from rindo's perspective. she moves from an online space to real life #also all of these changes are kind of a “rebirth” of who she is as a person #which ties into her connection with phoenix cantus too #so. yknow! just some food for thought
