Hey. My name is zaga. I was the old isopup owner. I’m not really sure how to go about this, but after some recent stuff has come out I have decided with help to make a document explaining everything. Everything is my own words, just some friends helped me organize certain parts. I think I’ve covered every base I feel I need to address in regards to isopups, but if you think I’ve missed something or just want to discuss then please feel free to message me on discord @cannedtunas

In this document I address my shortcomings, my lack of communication, why the site was buggy, and why I abandoned my species. It also goes over a lot of other stuff I feel is important, including my raffles and refunding people. I want to say that although I posted this in the doc, if I owe you a refund (which I believe there is 1-2 people I do owe a refund to, but I’m unsure of who) then PLEASE message me on discord and i will refund you immediately. The document also discusses my raffles which I will still pick winners for, but with alternative fursuit prizes (tail and paw sets).

Being on the team isn't fun as I thought it'd be either. I'm lowkey tempted to step down.

I'm surprised the species is even still active. I was hoping as they lost popularity, that the mode would be better for staff with less stress.

All of the issues isopups had in the beginning aside my personal main "issue" at the moment is that it really feels like it's run by teenagers. in a bad and messy way.

in regards to the recent ask abt isopups, yeah. I get it. And this is honestly just gonna be a personal vent, just my own feelings about it.

I genuinely miss my game. I never really expected the species to get big, I just wanted to make a cute fun oc game. I still want to honestly, but not cs related. The community was so amazing too, I really regret getting in with the wrong crowd. I miss all of you guys who were there and supported me.

I hope someday I can make an oc game, and I’m working on something but I am not gonna reveal much because I don’t want an isopups 2.0. I do still also think of the friends I lost during that time… while I do think some of those people are better off not in my life I can’t help but miss others of my friends. I guess making isopups wasn’t really worth it for me in some ways, but it also helped me get away from toxic people so that is definitely good.

It’s got imgur galleries and a doc the Terraliens mods made. Civ is NOT someone anyone should support.

Rhys is in the Bulletin too, though that situation is in the comments. Rhys also Mods for Civ’s semi-open species, and let me tell you, they’re both god awful at proper moderation and deescalation. I’d honestly recommend jumping ship from Isopups at this point. Glad to see that the site is at least decently functional now though, Zaga was an awful owner.

Civ doesn't know what quitting means. It's wild to me, as they can likely make just as much money without being netted up in all the drama they create in species spaces.

My second Isopup design! Isopups are a newish semi open species who have their own Lorekeeper site where you can earn MYOs for free.
