its so frustrating how a lot of scu fans cant handle other sonic fans not having the exact same taste in sonic media that they do. like i feel like you can say something negative about literally any other sonic media on here and people generally wouldnt care that much but the second you say anything less than positive about the movies people start getting all weird about it and trying to argue with you ive had it happen to me and seen it happen to others as well .... like the sonic franchise is very big and has many different media types and writing styles not everyone is going to uncritically love everything. get over it ? im not trying to be mean but idk what else to tell you
#this isnt solely about the person who sent me that ask last night i was actually already thinking abut it before#(though it is very confusing that they did i literally havetn been talking about the movies lately they just yelled at me out of nowhere#i mean they apologized so no big deal i guess but like. huh)#i mean i understand not wanting to see a bunch of hate of something you like and its fine to disagree with peoples criticisms#but people are being VERY unreasonable about it when it comes to sonic 3#cant help but wonder if this sort of behavior is a result of the fact that a lot of people acting this way got into sonic through the movie#after sonic's reputation improved a bit and dont know what constant widespread hate for everything sonic actually looks like#so they dont know how to handle criticism or opinions they disagree with regarding what sonic media is good or bad#and place sonic fans criticizing it because they love sonic and think sonic and its stories and characters deserves better#in the same category as people who just mindlessly hate on sonic for no reason#not that im saying anyone who likes the movies is a new fan or that new fans are fake fans but you get what i mean hopefully#also this is going into hater mode but personally. sonic 3 is one of the least deserving candidates of this type of defensiveness#like. for one its not that goodand actively disrespects the source material in so many ways. but thats more of a subjective opinion i guess#but also its a very popular and successful movie . most people who watched it liked it from what ive seen#randos on tumblr not liking it isnt taking away from that ??????#also paramount doesnt deserve your money anyway#like whats the point in defending it so hard . who cares..

I'm realizing I have a lot of mlm/wlw best friend duos in OCs....
#my characters#she is talking to her best friends crush who has a crush on her best friend and the crush is not catching on#that she means haha you stand a chance just talk to him haha its killing me to hear him complain how HE doesnt stand a chance#uh her name is colette and she is a dream warden#which is basically another dimension where dreams and nightmares are in uhhh#something similar to a jail cell kind of???? like the wardens can see the dreams when someone is having them#and they patrol the path around the cells to make sure nightmares stay in check#they also cannot die and are just kind of ... there until they want to retire#her and her partner (best friend) have been patrolling for a long while together#and they interact with four other wardens#one pair of wardens is two women and one of those is colettes gf#then the other two wardens are a pair of guys#and recently (like over a century lol) one of the guys retired and was replaced by another guy#and the new guy is the target of the crush doki doki#colette and marcus (the best friend partner guy) were p shocked the other guy retired but marcus is like i lost a friend and gained a crush#but as said before in these tags they cant die so if a nightmare attacks them and they are injured they just recover#but some injuries are more extreme and require a sub warden during that recovery#unrelated is it just me and my computer screen and bad eyesight or does my art show up really pixelated for people on tumblr?#it looks smoother in my art program and i dont always go back to look at my art on pc and i just did and it looks fuzzy and low quality#it looks fine on my phone though when i scroll ? bu t ?????

A few silly little small sculptures that I made with some of the leftover clay from the main one I did recently
#sculpture#birds#neopets#sparkly little aishas my beloved.....#Though I actually kind of liked them with a matte finish more?? I wanted to try out making them sparkly and shiny..but#I think they might have looked better before adding all the shine. BUT I kind of like both. Maybe I should make two more that aren't shiny#just to have variation lol... an entire army of tiny aishas.....#The little house is so bad lol I hada headache at that point and kind of just wanted to get everything over with#(I bake the clay all at once so I had to get the smaller ones done to go with the main one)#and was like.. zero effort into making things line up or measuring at all. one window on one side is like twice as big as on the other lol#but I think from afar ifnot examined too closely it's still kind of cute. The birds were also just random like 'what can I shape out of thi#s small blob of clay I have leftover' etc. I did actually put irridescent eyeshaow on the pigeon but it just doesnt show up in photos ToT#The other bird is not anything in specific... some sort of random fantasy creature bird with slight purple on it's wings or something#The strawberry is exclusively just a quickly done accessory for the birds.. I wanted them to have a little meal to share#even though I dont know if birds eat strawberries#the last picture in the set is them all sitting on a shelf (the most well lit place I could find) but looks weird#since it has all of my avocado pit eyes in the background......... ominous backdrop for such peaceful little creachures..#you kind of cant tell what they are from that angle though i guess lol
