Hair Headcanons for the Nolofinwions:

Fingon: His hair isn't quite black, it's actually a very deep brown, just like Anaire's. Sometimes, in the sunlight, it gets lighter, golden-brown highlights. The golden ribbons Fingon braids into his hair bring out the effect beautifully. He usually wears his hair up in box braids with ribbons, and sometimes uses blue or white instead of gold.

Turgon: Deep, deep black with some of the same iridescent effects that Finwe's hair has. No one has ever seen his hair looking the slightest bit unkempt. He often wears diamonds in his hair to create the effect of stars in a dark sky. As far as styling goes, he prefers locs to braids. Even for a Noldo, he keeps his hair long, especially as the King of Gondolin.

Aredhel: Also black, and very shiny. Just like Fingolfin, she gets white streaks in her hair after the Helcaraxe. Often wears it up in complicated hunter's braids with thin, wire jewelry woven in. The jewelry, which imitates patterns of vines and leaves, was worn by many hunters in Valinor, and they took the tradition to Middle-Earth with them.

Argon: His hair looks exactly like Fingolfin's– one of the many things that makes Argon very like his father. He also wears more Vanyarin styles, leaving his hair partially loose instead of braided hair. Unlike Fingolfin, however, he never gets white streaks in his hair. He dies before he has the chance to.
