AU where Stan loses his voice while he's on the run from a throat injury. So he starts communicating with his hands. No, not sign language, he doesn't have time to learn that shit. He always moved his hands around when he spoke, he just has to do it even more now. Without speaking. And using his facial expressions. And hoping people understand him.

When he gets the postcard and arrives at Gravity Falls, Ford notices Stan has been overly quiet. Which is not a thing Stan has ever been. He always talks! Is he seriously holding a grudge at him? If anything, he should be the one to hold a grudge at him (which he does)! Why does he keep moving his hands around?! He's seriously giving him the silent treatment? That stupid, immature, irresponsible- wait, what's that scar on his throat? And why is it so big?

While writing the tags I thought to myself: What if instead of a throat injury, his "friends" caught him and cut off his tongue instead? It'd be slower and much more painful, and it'd make eating so much harder. So yeah.🙃

a quick illustration of something that popped into my head. Every time I read/remember about Turtle’s exile from his band of brothers after failing to find Snapper I feel like crying/murdering his brothers. Who does that to a kid who was just doing his best? Anyways, this is his hatchmate sister (who died halfway through incubation) and the other two that were supposedly his fault. I think their spirits would comfort him during his lowest point, before he eventually enchants his forgiveness back.

I rewatched Zuko and Azula's Agni Kai recently and it's left me wondering – when Zuko begins to goad Azula into striking him with lightning, was he making the decision to kill her?

Because had Azula shot lightning directly at him like he planned and not at Katara, the most forthright implication to me is that he was intending to strike Azula with her own lightning. And Azula, for all her mastery, would not have been able to counter that.

On the other hand, maybe he wasn't planning to kill her at all and was simply planning to redirect it elsewhere (similar to what he did with Ozai). But given the tone of tragedy throughout the Agni Kai, the fact that they both acknowledge that this fight will be "the end" to them, I don't think it's inaccurate to read Zuko's actions as him preparing to kill Azula, even though an Agni Kai doesn't have to end with death (and in canon it didn't). Also, why goad her into striking him with lightning if he wasn't planning on doing something intentional with it? If anything, it adds another layer to the tragedy to me, because I don't believe Zuko wants to kill her. And it stands in such contrast to the way that Azula desperately wants to kill him.

I also think that there would have even been something sadly poetic in that sort of demise for Azula should the Agni Kai had gone this direction: Azula, struck down by her preferred sub-skill. Azula, struck down by the very bolt of lightning that she intended to kill her brother with. Azula, struck down by her own power.

i still have a long way to go till i finish the iliad so i dont know everyones story yet, i do know however that cly like many before and after her arent often portrayed with the complexities that make them them, that make them human, but instead as paragons or pariahs. and i think theres lots to be said on the matter, but i dont want to get ahead of myself lol. anyway enjoy :D

I like to think alternate Leo was about 17 when he got ricocheted into the universe. I also like to think he turned 18 at some point as he was still away, becoming an adult and meeting that milestone in his life all alone.

Time to think about how alone the pale king was when he died. He had lost everything. His kingdom yes, but even his closest relationships.

His trusted friends, who became dreamers, gave up their lives and all for a hopeless cause. His wife was driven away by her guilt and her grief. His child who he had learned to love, he sacrificed for nothing.

Almost every character that we know of who had a personal relationship with PK had either been sacrificed or had left him.

And of course all of it was his own doing. (At least largely his own doing.)

Still he sat completely alone in that throne room when he died there.

so irrationally angry when ppl completely baby daeho and act like the only personality traits he had in s2 were sweet and scared as if he didnt threaten the os curse them out and almost get into a fight (only stopping when jungbae held him back) like he is literally prone to lashing out when hes intimidated to make himself seem bigger and that is exactly what he did with gihun in s3 his first instinct when someone threatens him is to get violent first in the hopes that theyll back off before they even try his character makes so much objective analytical sense everybody just ignores it.

Jey Uso and Wheeler Yuta are parallel characters in my mind.

Both wrestlers who had the shit beat out of them in order to join their team, both forced to do horrible things by their leader because they didn’t think there’s any other choice. Both of them watched the leader they once loved slip deeper and deeper into madness, pulling more people into their spiral. Both of them fell in so deep that they stopped fighting it, accepted violence and anger as a part of their lives.

Jey Uso got out. He has found real friends, found his place in the roster and made amends to all the people he’s hurt. Even Roman has started to see some of that forgiveness.

Can Yuta do that? Is there anyone left on the roster who would reach out a hand to Yuta like Cody did for Jey? Where is the line between forgivable and unforgivable and has Yuta been dragged across it?
