i'm sorry, but lila going in depth about enzo's cart (in english nonetheless) in her secret notebooks + enzo's introduction in book 2 stating that lila has had a liking for him since childhood. i just loveee how it's not this overstated romance, it isn't necessarily going in that direction at all at this point, but it's still such a Statement, and such a fitting one at that, to have her practice a new language on something as prosaic and essential as enzo's fruit and vegetable cart. it feels very grounded and that's always incredibly touching to me. it's a bridge between something enzo is doing strictly for survival and what used to be the only declaration of affection from a boy in lila's life for a long time. enzo's fruit selling business underlines the true nature of earning money (which he would have been conscious of way earlier than elena and lila), but lila decides to focus on that exact cart in her involuntary outbursts of creativity and determination to keep up with elena. the point i am trying to make is that lila and elena have always saw money and writing as interconnected, but their idea of money wasn't the kind of money that enzo is familiar with. so to have lila write about something that is representative of the more tangible, rather tiring reality of making a living, and to have her do that unprompted, purely in the form of description, is blindingly endearing to me. it's bringing the dream and the privilege of studying (+ that childlike excitement and innocent romantic fulfilment lila feels exiled from and associates with enzo's gift) on the same level as the actuality of everyday challenges and that's exactly what the relationship between lila and enzo eventually amounts to.
it's also... so... moving to me how lila writes about the tools rino and fernando use in the shoe shop and how that admiration clearly is the root of her admiring enzo's equivalent of this and how book 1 ending is so loud about the way work has shaped lila's hands (stefano makes this exact observation too out of false admiration that lila senses as adjacent to her own and so much of her faith in stefano resides in this sentiment, this acknowledgement of her and her family as they are) and how this is brutally mutilated for her once marcello makes his big entrance that is only big to lila (and elena) and how she gets to restore this feeling in enzo.
#I HATE BEING THIS PERSON BUT I LOVEEEEE HOW MUNDANE IT IS. it's quiet and consistent and a big deal exactly because it doesn't make#a big deal out of itself. you can easily miss that because we get lila and enzo in flashes coloured by elena's reception of them#but the indisputable truth is that they spent days months YEARS in each other's orbit doing completely ordinary things#things that were deeply rooted in a shared struggle to survive. they work so hard on some days they don't get to see each other#it's So. Important. especially in relation to the studying/money conversations#i can talk about them forever. as individuals and as a partnership#not being verbose number 1 enzo scanno quality to meeeee. but that's a different essay#i mean not just verbose his tone isn't overflowing with emotion either. elena even describes it as unmindful#that + marcello who bursts out crying and smooth tongued stefano and later nino#nobody will write a poem and put enzo scanno in it and thank god for that. you will find a nino and a stefano and a donato in them#but they can't be appealing unless they're fictitious#about the last paragraph... you know when lila helps stefano put on the shoes and then in the show she helps enzo take his off...#ferranteposting#otp: diagram of the door opening#dylanlila.mp3#mbf summer#l'amica geniale#lila cerullo 🫀

Something that always annoys me is the idea only 1 language learning method works. Which is not true. While it may be possible that, for a particular individual, only a few out of many study methods may work well enough for That Individual to make progress and stay motivated... that doesn't mean all the other study methods won't work for anyone else out there, or that those few methods will work for every other given person.
Obviously if you've been studying a while, then you already figured out what kinds of things work for you and don't. If you're a beginner, just wading into studying?
I would suggest you simply look for study methods that: 1. Teach you new things regularly, 2. Review and practice things you've learned, 3. Include studying things you need for your particular goals (for example if your goal is to read X book then the study materials at some point should involve reading practice and some words the book contains, if your goal is to talk about Y then the study materials should include some information about pronunciation and words you'll need to be able to say).
As you can imagine, a TON of study materials will meet these requirements. And you can study a given skill in a LOT of ways.
(Reading is my focus lol so just for reading, a beginner might: do vocabulary study with lists or conversations with native speakers or watching shows and looking words up or listening to dialogues with a transcript like in a textbook or graded readers or a picture book with word labels in the target language or a video game with labelled objects in target language, all of those things as long as your vocabulary is improving or reading practice is happening would help you make progress). So to improve reading skill as a beginner: you could study with a textbook, a podcast with transcript, a classroom or tutor with words written down in target language (like TPRS), a video game, a TV show and a translate app on your phone, a friend you talk with (who either writes words down or you look up words you hear with a translate app), a friend you text with, srs flashcards like anki (provided there's text) etc. As long as there's new words, and/or you're practicing reading, the study method may work. If it works will come down to if you can stay motivated doing it regularly, and make sure you regularly learn some new things and review/practice things you've already studied.
So consider those things when you see people selling a study method as a product (especially when it's costing you money). Consider if it teaches you NEW things, and are those new things related to your goals, and how MUCH new stuff will it teach you before you finish it? Consider if it provides review or practice, or if you can use it's materials to review on your own making up your own method, or if you'll need to do separate review/practice.
So examples:
LingQ. Can it teach you many new words? Yes, thousands, since you can import any texts you want when you get done with their provided material (I have no idea how much their beginner material covers though in terms of words... I would hope 1000-3000 words but that can be researched). Is your goal reading? It's suited to reading, so you will practice and review often with it. Cost? I think it was $12 a month when I last had it, and the price may have increased. Is it worth it? Depends on a learner's needs. I found it was wasting my money, so I chose to use free tools like Pleco and Readibu apps - since those apps are suited for Chinese learners and have better translations, Pleco has better paid graded reader material if I was going to spend money, and both Pleco and Readibu let me import texts so I can learn thousands of new words just like LingQ but free. Now that I'm not a beginner, I often use Microsoft Edge to read chinese... since I can still click-translate words easily (all my web browsers have that tool free), and Edge's TTS voice is helpful for pronunciation and sounds quite good. I read webnovels online so Edge works well. But it's translations aren't as good as Pleco or Readibu, so if I still needed translations more I would use them. So... is LingQ a good study method? Its certainly a study method marketed to buy. Well... the method is suited to improving reading skill, at least. It costs money, which is a negative, but it does offer a lot. However: everything it does regarding reading can be done free with other apps or sites or web browsers on their own. So if paying money motivates you to read... sure. LingQ does have a few word tracking features a learner may find worth the money, keeping in mind the actual read-to-learn method can be done free without lingq. (Also... while LingQ is a valid option for improving reading, if the learners goal is speaking then it would be important to think of what study activities the learner will do OUTSIDE of LingQ to improve speaking... because I've seen how LingQ is marketed as "how to learn a language" but it's only focused on some skills. It has vocabulary and grammar in some sense, since you'll read a lot and encounter new words and structures. But it doesnt have speaking or writing practice at least last time I was on it. Those activities would need to be worked on, on your own).
You can do that kind of cost/benefit contemplating with any study method material you see being sold. Amother example: there's a beginner Mandarin course called Mandarin Blueprint. It teaches like 800 words. Thats all. It may be worthwhile for a beginner... who still needs to learn 800 common words. But if you already know a few hundred words, the benefit of the course is less, you'll need to find a new material to teach you more new stuff soon. And the price was like a few hundred for the course... which for me personally was too much to spend, when I had already learned 800 hanzi from a book that cost me 12 dollars and 2000 words from a free user made memrise deck. The course claimed to get a person speaking, competent, but anyone not a beginner would say speaking basically with 800 words is nowhere near the level of working in Chinese or just doing a lot of daily life stuff, or reading/listening to media. (Although for the motivated beginner if you're learning 800 words on your own like I was, its definitely close to the point of jumping to learn more words and start reading kids and teenager books, and watching easier shows if you're willing to look new words up). So to me... Mandarin Blueprint felt like overselling some basic beginner materials. (Again when I know several other things that teach beginner stuff either more in depth so HSK test prep classes, and college courses, or that teach beginner stuff to the same depth as Mandarin Blueprint but free).
Some study materials aren't going to act like they teach everything. I've seen chinese courses just for learning to speak tones better and general pronunciation - probably worthwhile if your goal is to improve speaking and a teacher could help improve the issues your having. But a learner needs to be aware for that course that they'll need to study vocabulary on their own, its JUST a pronunciation improvement course.
#rant#i saw a lot of comments on forums yesterday thinking automatic language growth alg was like snake oil#aka a scam. but it can be done for free (free lessons online) and for people who#learn well from visual context and guessing (i learn well that way) the lesson style DOES result in learning new words and grammar#so provided you can find ALG type free lessons that teach 1000+ words (ideally 3000+ words) then you will learn#enough grammar and words to then move onto native speaker content to continue studying. so all free#i have not seen yet how ALG helps students with speaking or writing yet though. so i can only say it for sure improves passive skills#specifically listening with new words and grammar. and listening translates to reading if you practice that on your own#even just with subtitles or podcast transcripts.#the issue for me is can i find alg courses that teach a thousand words in a timely manner (and free if thats my personal requirement)#i think Dreaming Spanish and Comprehensible Thai do have enough free courses to teach 1000+ words#so those ones would get you to possibly intermediate b1 level in passive listening skill#and then its up to you on if 1 that meets your goal 2 you learn well with that lesson type 3 you are motivated to do the lessons#like... duolingo itself is not completely useless... it teaches 3000 words on most courses (and maybe 1500 common words). the big issue for#me with duolingo is it takes me AGES to complete a lesson and complete a course (years). cause i cant focus on it#whereas with duolingos content... its beginner content. at best it will get Reading skill to A2 or low B1#and maybe other skills if you practice OUTSIDE duolingo with the words and grammar u learned.#so getting to A2 vocab shouldnt take me more than a year to learn (based on how i study). i can learn it in 6 months if i#just study a wordlist on paper and a grammar guide online. so since duolingo takes me 4 times LONGER to study than the other methods i use?#duolingo is a waste of my time. not worth it (and it markets itself as if it will get a learner to B2 when it wont. and it markets#as if 1 lesson a day is all you need. to make progress in 6 months in duolingo like my wordlist study...#you'd need to be doing duolingo 1-3 hours a day... which duolingo does not tell u to do. and most learners dont

Horoscope for Friday, March 7, 2025

Aries (March 21-April 19) Don’t get your belly in a rash today. Take a breath and stay focused on home, family and your private life because you want to make improvements in these areas. Nevertheless, if you act too quickly, especially without thinking, you might have regrets. Therefore, double check everything.
Taurus (April 20-May 20) There’s nothing worse than thinking that you know something when you don’t. You might fall victim to this today because you feel intellectually confident; and yet, your mind is confused and hesitant. Therefore, postpone important decisions until tomorrow.
Gemini (May 21-June 20) Postpone important financial decisions as well as major purchases until tomorrow because there’s an element of confusion present today that might trip you up. Obviously, when it comes to spending your money, you don’t want to have later regrets. Be smart.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) Think twice before you set your plans for home improvements in action today because someone might not agree. Instead, go slowly and point out the advantages of your ideas so that others have a chance to appreciate what you want to do. If someone else is part of the decision-making, they might more quickly agree with you.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22) Today you can’t count your chickens before they’re barbecued. No matter how favorable things look, especially because you have the support of others, make no assumptions. Furthermore, steer clear of controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues in order to keep the peace.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Relations with partners and spouses as well as friends and groups will be lively, interactive and possibly competitive. In fact, group sports and teamwork might be exciting choices for you today. Nevertheless, squabbles about financial or physical support from others might put a damper on things.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) You’re high visibility. In one way, you’re comfortable with this because your ambition is aroused. You’re excited about making an effort to achieve something. Nevertheless, a minor squabble with someone could take the edge off how you feel today. (It was ever thus.)
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Vacation plans, creative ideas, the arts and fun activities related to kids might be in the works today. These areas promise high-energy and enthusiasm. Nevertheless, hygiene details or problems related to your job or even your health could create challenges. Don’t give up. Wait until tomorrow to initiate your ideas.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) A conversation with a parent or a family member will be enthusiastic today. You might have ideas about how to improve your home or improve a family relationship. However, discussions with kids could be challenging. Ditto for romantic relationships. (Oh well.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Be patient with female family members today. Don’t get caught up in the game where someone “has to be right.” Listen to what others have to say, and hopefully, they will listen to you. Meanwhile, this is a lively day. Enjoy short trips, sales, marketing, reading and studying and writing.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Regarding financial matters today, you feel confident. You might even make a major purchase or explore moneymaking ideas. Ironically, day-to-day conversations, especially with coworkers, will not flow easily. Wait until tomorrow to put your plans in action.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) You feel confident and physically vigorous today, which is why you’ll enjoy any kind of physical activity, especially competitive. You might be keen to begin something new. Nevertheless, responsibilities with kids or doubts about a creative project might change things for you. Wait until tomorrow to act.

intercepted signs
aries-libra: there is an imbalance between feeling like yourself and feeling loved. you may have felt your opinions weren't taken seriously or weren't heard, leaving you self-conscious and highly sensitive to the opinions of other people. you may now feel you have to fight to be heard or struggle to trust your own opinion of people or situations. your childhood home may have been very strict and even militant, with hard punishments for mistakes or wrongdoing. nowadays, you are probably quite hard on yourself, or conversely, may struggle with discipline and find it very hard to stay on top of your tasks. you may have grown up around authoritarian types, or angry people, leaving you with inadequate emotion regulation skills now. you may find it hard to control your anger, or may swing in the opposite direction and be a people pleaser, struggling to assert yourself. you might feel empty at times and feel you have to hide parts of yourself to be accepted or loved. some people with this interception find it very hard to stay single, with their loved ones being their anchor and feeling empty and disjointed when not in a close relationship or not with loved ones. being alone can be very frightening with an aries-libra interception, but with patience and kindness, it won't be like this forever.
taurus-scorpio: the imbalance here is between control and chaos. you may have grown up in a difficult financial situation, or in an insecure home. conversely, you may have grown up financially very comfortable, but with caregivers that just didn't have much time or energy to spend on family, whether that was due to work or pleasure. as an adult, one of two things may happen when it comes to money, food and other resources; you may find it very hard to spend, especially on yourself, and live a very 'simple' life with few possessions and an emotional need to save or hoard money or essentials; or you may find it hard to save, spending your money indiscriminately and perhaps overindulging on things that make you feel comfortable. of course, there's nothing wrong with spending money on yourself, but it's important to think on your goals and more basic needs first. when it comes to relationships, a taurus-scorpio interception tends to indicate that love wasn't given freely in childhood. you may have felt you had to earn it, or that you weren't deserving somehow. nowadays, you may subconsciously 'buy' love, or even overcontrol your own resources and struggle to share, both emotionally and materially. finding a comfortable middle is the key here.
gemini-sagittarius: there is an imbalance between curiosity and wisdom. you may have grown up an intelligent but disorganised child, with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge. bursting at the seams with energy and ideas, you might have felt a bit of an outsider growing up, like you didn't connect very well with your peers. you caregivers might have struggled to keep you stimulated and so boredom and escapism might be big themes in your internal experience. something else that could have happened, was the stifling of your curiosity. a lot of things can cause this, but it often relates back to bullying or harsh criticism in childhood making you feel 'stupid'. as an adult, this tends to make you highly self-critical, shutting down your ideas before they can really take shape. some people with this placement are afraid of academia and feel they 'can't' learn or study, while some use their academic pursuits to fill an emotional void. ultimately, this placement can cause delays in finding meaning and figuring out your path in life, but it doesn't erase it. it takes conscious effort to allow yourself to be curious, and let yourself explore the many options that life brings.
cancer-capricorn: there is an imbalance between comfort and stability. often, this placement denotes an unstable childhood; whether that is because of financial issues, a lot of house moves or travel in childhood, or issues relating to your parents, home just may not have felt all that safe. you may have felt the need to retreat inside yourself a lot, creating vivid imaginary worlds and dreaming these hard years by. you made it to the other side, but now what? the instability of childhood isn't something that's easily shaken off. it lingers, and often in one of two ways; you seemingly thrive in chaos and confusion, feeling dangerously bored when things get too 'normal'; or you desperately crave softness and sweetness, seeking comfort above all else. really, both of these options are comfort-seeking, though it's not always obvious. some will become very rigid and defensive in adulthood, focused on protecting themselves physically and emotionally. you grow up to be a sensitive soul kept behind bulletproof glass, which, while safe, is really no way to live. you are safe now, you can keep yourself safe, and you can do that while also letting yourself be a little bit vulnerable and letting love in.
leo-aquarius: the imbalance here is between the inner child and the empowered adult. if you have this placement, you may have grown up feeling disconnected from your peers. loneliness might have been something you faced a lot, and that could have led to your younger self feeling they needed to perform; to earn love. we all seek attention and affection, it's a very natural thing, but when you aren't given it freely, you learn that you only get it if you do something special, or even, be someone special. as an adult, you may try very hard to stand out, not seeing your authentic self as interesting or special enough for others to love. learning to find self-validation and not need to chase the conditional love of others is a real skill that takes time and work to master, but it's well worth the effort. you are bright, but work best when the work means something. you can't just clock in, clock out; and here lies the key. you are inherently special, as we all are, but more than that, you find your place in the world, your people, your passion, through meaningful, special work. you can achieve great things for yourself and your community when you find it.
virgo-pisces: there is an imbalance between pragmatism and pessimism. with this placement, you weren't taught discipline properly. that could either mean that you were raised to an unreasonably high standard, with militant and perfectionistic caregivers, or your home was chaotic and confusing, with no real structure or predictability. neither of these houses are healthy ones to grow up in, bringing us to the present day. you may find it very difficult to manage your life now, feeling at the mercy of the external world and easily becoming burned out and despondent. addiction can be an issue here too, as a means to escape the overwhelm of daily life. the key really does lie in mastering the basics, which can feel unfair at times, as you should have been taught these skills much earlier and not have to teach yourself now. it's helpful to remember here that what happened wasn't your fault, but what happens now is your responsibility. prone to anxiety and overwhelm, the world can be a very depressing place, but you can find balance between desperate escapism and cold, hard reality all the time.
libra-aries: here, the imbalance is between conflict and authenticity. growing up, there was an emphasis on things looking perfect, despite how they really felt underneath. you might have grown up with fundamentally good, but somewhat distant parents, and they may have been people pleasers themselves, spreading themselves too thin to really be present in your life. alternatively, you may have grown up in a codependent house, witnessing unhealthy relationships and what could be seen as a lack of will to improve things. as a result, you might feel you raised yourself, and are now a fiercely independent person. relationships can feel like a power struggle to you, more so than a close connection, and you can subconsciously 'fight' your partners for dominance. you don't like to submit or feel dependent, and so relationships can be very difficult for you. you may even feel you're better off alone, and they just aren't worth the hassle. while nobody needs to be in a relationship, being able to connect with people when you want to is an important skill; humans aren't built to survive alone, after all, and so reframing love as a positive, rather than a negative, can be a very helpful thing.
scorpio-taurus: there is an imbalance between power and connection. your childhood home may have held secrets, and trust was in short supply. you may have found your experience of childhood to be chaotic and even frightening. you were probably a sensitive child, and whether sceptic or superstitious, you might have had experiences you just can't explain away growing up. now, you are likely quite spiritual in your own way, and this brings a sense of meaning to your life. you may be quite concerned with making your space, appearance and professional life comfortable and steady, which, though an admirable goal, can become all-consuming if you aren't able to confront what drives it. the need for material security can sometimes be underpinned by a lack of emotional security within, which an out-of-control childhood could absolutely induce. reaching out to your shadow or inner child can help immensely to bring you fully into the present and help balance your need for safety.
sagittarius-gemini: here, the imbalance is between exploration and containment. traditionally, this placement would indicate moving around a lot as a child or having quite an unorthodox upbringing. whatever the case, you probably grew up with some very intelligent, though perhaps eccentric or ego-driven caregivers, who praised your uniqueness and interest in the world. whether it is through bullying, unkind words from family, or cruel feedback from teachers, you may have grown to feel you couldn't really think for yourself; that you were unintelligent or incapable of reaching your goals. education may have been a difficult experience, leaving you with a lot of internal conflict or confusion. now, you flounder a bit, unsure of where you're going and why. you can easily become close-minded and gossipy, as your active mind needs constant stimulation but academic pursuits can be daunting. finding some of your childhood curiosity, and nurturing that spark, can really help you to figure out what's going on for you and what is meaningful to you. you need to explore without just wandering, and wander without getting lost.
capricorn-cancer: there is an imbalance between expertise and cultivation. growing up, you may have been described as an 'old soul'. as a kid, this can feel like something to be proud of, but in reality, it tends to mean you've had to grow up too quickly. you might have been a carer, or had to fill the role of 'man of the house', whatever your gender... ultimately, you didn't get to be a kid the way that we all should in childhood, and so you might have struggled to fit in with your peers. as an adult, you are seen as mature, sensible and a go-getter, but underneath, you may struggle to care for yourself properly. you might have a really hard time with accepting and feeling your emotions, with anxiety around losing control or being seen as weak or childish. there's nothing childish about feeling, it's part of the human condition and caring is what makes us strong. you are a kind, compassionate person but may find you treat yourself very harshly, with high standards and strict punishments. finding some balance and learning to nurture yourself the way you do the rest of your life is what will really help you in the long run.
aquarius-leo: the imbalance here is between doing good and being good. growing up, you may have felt 'other' somehow; maybe you were an eccentric child, or grew up with an unconventional lifestyle, or had issues that got in the way of school and friendships. either way, you never quite found your people in childhood, and were left feeling somewhat anxious and unsure of how to act around your peers. like capricorn, you may have been seen as an 'old soul', but not quite in the same way; with aquarius intercepted, you perhaps weren't able to really express your uniqueness, and had to perform and fit in. as an adult, you may spend a lot of time worrying about where you belong, and who you belong with. your style, taste and friendship groups may change frequently, and you might not really know who you are outside of these things. some internal work can be helpful here, to get to know yourself, who and what you align with, what your morals and values are. forget other people for a moment and live for yourself; you'll find your people along the way.
pisces-virgo: here, the imbalance is between illusion and overwhelm. your childhood home was most likely chaotic and confusing; there may have been addiction issues, illness in the family, role reversals or frequent house moves. you had to become adaptable, and you did. but a deep sense of sadness and worry might have followed you through childhood, leaving you feeling easily overwhelmed and almost numb sometimes. as an adult, you may cling to routines, health and wellness as a way to feel okay, and this can be a great comfort, of course. but when life gets stressful, you may find you don't have many coping skills and are deeply affected by anxiety, sleep and health issues. the beauty and calm of wellness trends are very soothing, to be sure, but they are mostly skin deep. taking some time to pull back the curtain and look inwards is where you will find real healing. you have a quick mind and a big heart, and have the ability to see where the wounds lie and how best to mend them, it just takes a lot of bravery to face it head-on.

Anon wrote: Hi, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge here, your work is truly a gift in providing reliable reference to study MBTI. I need help with typing my personality. I am a 29 y.o female, I was diagnosed with anxiety and had depressive episodes. My guess is I am an Ni-dom, I relate more with Fi-Te axis so I’m considering INTJ, but also INFJ because I don’t fully believe I am a thinking type.
For Ni dom and Se inferior (for INTJ and INFJ): I seek explanation for patterns that I see like noticing if the traffic is emptier than usual during a public holiday, then thinking maybe it’s because people are celebrating at home, or people celebrated last night until late. Then such observation informs my future planning i.e. “last year, people celebrated at home so the traffic might be empty during that public holiday and we should schedule a day out”.
Ni-Se is shown in how I often live based on “how things should be”, like following a tested routine that would ideally save time and money but gives me stress and discomfort, and I didn’t allow myself to spend money required to side-step inconveniences that suddenly happen outside of that routine because it doesn’t feel right. I postpone going outside unless all the conditions are met, like leaving at the intended time, have learned the route, and have planned what to do there.
Te-aux and Fi tert (for INTJ): For important project, I want to ensure there is high probability of success by searching for evidence like when applying for scholarship, I searched resumes of past awardees to model a situation i.e. “If I have A, B and C happen, there are higher chances of getting the scholarship. I haven’t found evidence where someone had those three and didn’t get it”, then look what factors I’m lacking and where to get it. In a leadership position, I want everyone to be engaged in the project, but if someone is being irrational, I believe it’s best to go with what gives best outcome because people will come around once they see good result.
I relate to Fi because I use my past experience as a way to relate to others, like often saying “If I were you…” or “I would do that too” which could point toward Fi. Tert Fi also made me criticize myself, like if I have an episode of uncontrolled emotion or if I have made another friend hate me, I would just say “Well, that’s just who you are, a person who have difficulty controlling your anger and bad at socializing".
Past loop behaviour (Ni-Fi but could be Ni-Ti): In high school, I was in science olympics, met people smarter than me, and started to fail more often. I also admired a guy (maybe INTP) because his intelligence comes from genuine interest in knowledge. So I rationalized my failure was because I chased external goals and because I wasn’t genuine enough like the INTP guy, then blamed my parents for giving pressure to achieve things (faulty conclusion), and started hating people who are ambitious or who follow the rules. I was inspired by some of the athletes which made me missed pursuing something competitively, so I decided to be competent in my chosen field starting by having good grades.
Fe-aux and Ti tert (for INFJ): I don’t fully relate with INTJ because I laugh a lot and smile a lot in a large group conversation, especially if I feel the need to impress that group, which I don’t see in the INTJs I knew. When talking to people, I search for topics that would will make it a good conversation (things that will encite strong emotions in them, or talk about their goal, or my goal, it should be a balanced exchange). I often assume what people are thinking, like “This person seems happier when talking to person A than when with me, maybe because I dissociated too much before so our connection was not as strong”. When watching movies, I am often interested in the characters’ motives and how they make decisions, and how the world responds to such characters.
My Fe could be unhealthy because I judge people quickly in a negative direction without having the patience to keep a neutral position to investigate first. My interaction with people ended up making me feel annoyed often because I focused on the bad qualities in people, like people using MBTI superficially to feel superior or people hating for the sake of hating other groups (could be Ni-Ti). I hope I give clear enough details on the function, and thank you again for helping me with this typing
----------------------
The submission instructions state that you must respond to all the points in the guide for every function you are examining. It appears you haven't used the guide properly, so your description is lacking in detail. You have given me the info you believe is relevant rather than giving me specifically what I asked for. This means I can't do a full analysis. There's enough for me to conclude that INTJ is unlikely, but not enough to confidently confirm that INFJ is the correct type.

Change The Look Of Your Room With An Acoustic Baffled Ceiling
Acoustics greatly impacts our daily lives, from how clear conversations are in a meeting room to how quiet a study area is. Effective acoustic solutions are needed where noise can make it hard to concentrate and talk to others. Acoustic baffle ceilings are a novel approach to reduce noise and enhance interiors. Functional and attractive, these ceilings may be used anywhere. From noise reduction to voice clarity, acoustic baffle ceilings have several benefits. Let's look at ten main reasons why acoustic baffle ceiling is a great choice.

Main Benefits of Acoustic Baffles Ceiling
1. Noise Reduction: Acoustic baffle ceilings reduce noise. These ceilings absorb too many sound waves to impact heavy things. This makes the room too loud. Whether the noise is from a busy office or the hum of machinery in a factory, sound shields can keep it down. The space is more relaxed and everyone has a better time now that there is less background noise.
2. Better clarity of speech: Echoes and reverberations can make talking to someone in a big, open space hard. Acoustic baffles on ceilings make it much easier to understand speech and reducing sound reflection and making the environment more controlled. Because of this, they work great in classrooms, conference rooms, and public places where clear communication is important. The Ceiling Baffle System ensure that every word can be understood and reducing sound distortions. This makes interactions better.
3. Flexible Design Options: With acoustic baffle ceilings, style and function come together. These systems can be changed to fit any design style because they come in many materials, colours, shapes, and configurations. You can make acoustic baffles look however you want. For example, you can use clean, modern lines in a business office or fun, bright patterns in a creative space. They are a great addition to any room because they can blend in with the decor or make it look better.
4. Improved Productivity: Noise that is too loud can be very distracting, especially at work. Studies have shown that a lot of noise can make it harder to focus and make you feel more stressed. Acoustic baffle ceilings make the space more peaceful and focused so employees can do their best work. These techniques help make the workplace more satisfying and productive while lowering noise-related distractions.
5. Eco-friendly materials: Interior design is increasingly focused on sustainability, hence acoustic baffle ceilings are a fantastic approach to follow this trend. Many acoustic baffles are made from recycled felt and other eco-friendly materials that can be used repeatedly. These options help the environment and ensure your space meets today's green building standards. Choosing environmentally friendly acoustic solutions shows you care about function and the environment.
6. Simple Installation and Maintenance: Acoustic baffles function effectively and are installed the same manner. The ceiling divider system's components make it easy to install. This reduces construction and repair downtime. These systems are also cost-effective since they endure a long period and need little maintenance. They will work and look nice for years since they are sturdy.
7. More Energy Efficient: Not only do these systems make music better, they can also make a room cooler. Acoustic gaps help keep the temperature inside stable and adding another layer of protection. People will need their heating and cooling systems less, which will save them money and energy.
8. Applications with Multiple Functions: Many regions use acoustic baffle ceilings due of their flexibility. These systems meet the acoustic needs of hospitals, workplaces, schools, and auditoriums. Used with felt wall covering, they may completely mute sounds. This versatility ensures you always have the sound you want.
9. Safety Standards Compliance: Safety is very important in any building or remodelling project, and acoustic baffles meet all the strict safety standards. Many systems are made not to catch fire or be harmful to people, so they help keep the inside of buildings safe and healthy. Because of these qualities, they are a good choice for both homes and businesses, giving you peace of mind and their soundproofing benefits.
10. Better looks and more comfort: Finally, an acoustic baffles ceiling helps a space to be more pleasant and comfortable. These devices lower noise levels and enhance the experience of every user of the surroundings. also rendering it more upscale. Whether it's for a business conference, classroom instruction, or restaurant dining, the elegant design and improved sound quality help the environment to seem warm and inviting.
Why Should You choose an Acoustic Baffles Ceiling
An acoustic baffle ceiling is the best of both worlds regarding functionality and style. The fact that it can change how a room sounds and looks simultaneously makes it a good investment. Acoustic baffles are a custom-made solution that can help you communicate better in a boardroom or make a library more peaceful.

Writing this as I'm moving on to my next task of the day. I met Elliot today for the first time, and it was lovely!
He's a gig photographer, and it seems we started doing photography simultaneously but went down different paths. During the Covid lockdown, we both had the idea that we wanted to do more with photography, using cameras passed down to us from relatives. We then went in different directions with it. I went to study it, but Elliot immersed himself in the photography scene and started doing band work. I thought that was incredibly brave, as I don't think I'd have been able to jump right into the deep end like that myself, even though I went straight from nothing into an HNC class.
He's very humble when talking about his work. His photography gigs mostly cover the costs of doing them and his equipment, but that's about it. So, he also works a day job in a cafe. This suits him well him well uits him well because the two never interfere with each other, as the gig stuff is always in the evening, and the cafe isn't open that late.
I expressed my interest in doing band work because it seems like a great time, even though it's unlikely to make money. He was very knowledgeable about how to get in contact with these people and gave me websites to see what's coming up! I really appreciate how open he was about this.
We also talked about how the photography community in Glasgow, at least, is very supportive. However, he has found that some of the older generation of photographers he has met along the way have been quite gatekeepy and look down on photographers. With that in mind it's important to meet up with other photographers, like we have today, not only to combat that elitism but also because it's great to meet other photographers. You don't often get to collaborate and meet your peers on a one-to-one chat basis, especially compared to other creative arts.
We also talked about how he deals with burnout, thinking that if he's going from a day job straight to taking pictures, it must take a toll. But like Cameron, who I interviewed the other day, he doesn't seem to get burnout because it's something he enjoys deeply. At most, he feels like he can't be bothered sometimes after a long shift, but once he's there, he really enjoys himself and forgets how tired he was feeling. I related to this when I did my tattoo shoots, as it was some of the most enjoyment I've taken from a shoot.
We also just chatted about general life because I didn't want the conversation to feel too artificial. I wanted it to all come out naturally and pretty laid back.
One of the things I asked him about was his double exposure images because I was curious how much planning, if any, went into them or if they were just off the cuff. I asked this because one of his images that lives in my brain rent-free is this beautiful double exposure of a singer and a disco ball replacing their head.He told me that, honestly, not really. It's not an environment you can go into to shoot and plan shots because you don't really know what the artists are going to be doing or how the venue is going to be. The shot I was specifically referring to, however, he told me that for that image he was very restricted and could only be in one place when taking his pictures, so he thought outside the box a bit. Rather than all of his images looking the same since he didn't have too much control over the angles, to me I think this was a great idea. It's such a simple tool to have under your belt to make situations that you don't have much creative freedom in, to make those images stand out that bit more compared to the other photographers who also may be shooting at those events.
Eliot does also shoot digital, but not often. When I asked him about it, he told me that as much as he doesn't mind shooting digital, film feels much more intentional to him and that he puts more effort into the film shots compared to the digital ones. I agree with him on this wholeheartedly. He also carries around a little point-and-shoot camera that he uses just for personal fun, little images of friends and family, just for casual shooting. This is something I've been meaning to do for ages, as I think it's important to always have a camera on you, but I never do myself. Other than my phone, maybe a little point-and-shoot is the way to go!

User intent is simply the purpose a user has when he or she searches. It usually falls in three types:

Case Study Two: Girls that Invest by Simran Kaur
Episode: Ethical Investing: Can You Push for Social Change with Your Money?
This is an early episode of Girls that Invest and much like my case study of SOTM, has now created more the 300 episodes. This is a another popular podcast on the finance genre that is targeted at women. In this particular episode Sim and her co-host Sonya talk about ethical investing. They give a brief history into the topic and the importance of it, as well as practical information on how to invest ethically yourself. This part of the podcast was the biggest takeaway from me. I want my podcast to have particular applications for my listeners.
Format: I would label this podcast with the co-hosted format. It is quite a natural conversation about the topic so doesn’t feel strictly scripted, although they most definitely rely on bullet points or notes of some sort of particular questions to hit and facts/data they want to reference.
Tone: The tone in this podcast is informative and welcoming. While the content is educational, the host are able to maintain a lighthearted atompshere though there lanagauge that appeals to the younger generation of women. They are also very approachable in their manner of speech so as to avoid making women feeli intimated by the complexities of investing.
Audience: Much like last week, this podcast is aimed at young women aged 18-35 who are beginners in investing and want to learn more in a relatable environment. This kind of content is also targeted at those who want to make informed decisions on their financial planning and want to get advise from people in the know. Especially in this episode but in general it attracts those that are interested in socially responsible investing.
Music/sound: The podcast has intro and outro music but nothing in between. The music is upbeat and playful, again appealing to a younger audience.
Just like last week, this podcast is a big inspiration for me. I actually want to cover this topic briefly in one of my episodes so I may be able to reference it if need be. As a member of the target demographic for this podcast, I do feel that it is effective in being approachable and informative at the same time and may continue to listen for my own benefit.

Horoscope for Wednesday, April 9, 2025

Aries (March 21-April 19) Today you have to put your emotional considerations second to the immediate necessities as you see them in your life. You might have to work for the benefit of someone else? This doesn’t mean you’re being a martyr. It’s just what’s happening. (Some of you will deal with home crafts.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20) This is a third romantic day in a row this week! Small wonder that many of you can’t conceal your feelings from others. However, today there is a slight shift because you need to be yourself. You want to do your own thing. Simple as that.
Gemini (May 21-June 20) This is a popular time for you, but you need to catch your breath. Fortunately, today is the perfect day to hide at home and nurture yourself. Give yourself a chance to relax among familiar surroundings. A conversation with a female relative might be significant.
Cancer (June 21-July 22) This is a fast-paced day! You want to get a lot done and talk to people — and read and study at the same time. (Busy you!) When it comes to talking to others, you want to be heard. This is why you’ll be dismayed if people are just chit-chatting about trivialities.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22) Money issues are on your mind, especially matters related to taxes, debt and your financial interactions with other people. You are a “fixed” sign (like Taurus, Scorpio and Aquarius), which means you like your ducks in a row. You don’t like loosey-goosey finances.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Today the moon is in your sign, which happens for 2½ days every month. When this occurs, it will make you more emotional than usual. However, it also slightly improves your good luck. (Bonus!) Why not test this out by asking the universe for a tiny favor? More porridge?
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Today you need some peace, quiet and privacy so that you can mentally and physically regroup. Because your ambition is strong, you’ve been hustling your buns. Fortunately, this is an ideal day to take a rest and nurture yourself. You can’t run on fumes.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Today you feel a strong need to make contact with friends or people in groups. You might even feel protective or supportive of a friend more than usual. Actually, this is a good day to sit down with a friend (or a member of a group) and discuss your long-term future goals.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) You should know that today you’re high-visibility, which means people notice you more than usual. In fact, some people will actually know personal details about your private life. (Good to know in case you have to do some damage control.)
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Today you have a strong urge to break free from your daily routine and do something different. You might not be aware of this — or you might. Either way, indulge your need for variety, stimulation and a bit of adventure. Do something different!
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) You’re juggling a lot of balls in the air. Financial issues, especially from the past, might come to fruition now. Furthermore, favors and checks might still be delayed. (Groan.) It’s important to define your relationship with the wealth and resources of someone else.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) Today the moon is in the sign opposite your own sign, which means you will have to go more than halfway when dealing with others. This is no biggie. You simply have to be congenial, cooperative and willing to go along to get along. Simple.

3)By nature, human is a very gentle, kind and merciful person. He has charisma and sex appeal.
4)They could be very troubled children.
5)Pregnant women with this situation should be VERY careful to monitor their health.
Neptune in the sixth house:
1)They may have unusual allergies or just a large number.
2)Their health can directly depend on the cleanliness of the house and their food.
3)They should not rely on others. Not everyone works honestly and correctly. Also PLEASE respect yourself and don't help everyone.
4)The best solution for a native is to work from home or to reach the level of a manager yourself, when you don't have to spend time on routine duties. And in order to build a successful business relationship,it is important to give up the use of alcohol and psychotropic drugs, because such a person gets used to them instantly.
5)With a weak Mars in the natal chart, there is idleness and a desire to frequently change the place of residence.
Neptune in the seventh house:
1)With a harmonious Neptune in the 7th house, the native radiates the energy of love and subconsciously waits for acceptance and sympathy when getting married, moving to a new job and entering a University.
2)When the planet is affected, idealistic expectations turn into broken dreams:it is difficult to join the team,do not accept it as it is,you have to sacrifice your interests.

4)Very often such people are very demanding in love.
5)The advice is to deal with your thoughts and ideas. You can't combine incompatible things.Spend more time meditating and being alone to make important decisions.
Neptune in the tenth house:
1)Their work must be creative for career growth.
2)The weak position of the planet provokes intrigues and intrigues of colleagues and strained relations with the boss, and in a strong position, the sharpened intuition of the native will help to get away with it.
3)If their work is normal, they can modify it.For example, such a teacher can teach in an unusual way,and simply differ from others.
4)In a good position a person can give good advice.
5)Your father was a unique person, different from other people, or unpredictable in dealing with you. Perhaps his views were unstable or he was too headstrong, but in any case, he created his own unique life. You may have been separated from it, either literally or figuratively. By interacting with it, you have learned the need to stand firmly on your own two feet, not depend on anyone, and this imprint has formed one of the basic attitudes to life that you will follow as an adult.
Neptune in the eleventh house:
1)In love,an incorrigible romantic.
2)When Neptune is stricken,it has unreliable friends. They should choose their environment carefully even at work.
3)Even the owner of Neptune in the 11th house often has low self-esteem,is shy to show their talents, hides in the shadow of others.Having a fine mental organization,it is vital for him to learn to punch his way with his elbows,so as not to be trampled by the crowd.
4)You can read people's feelings,but you can't distinguish between friend and foe.Paradox.
5)You are the friendliest of all houses!
Neptune in the twelfth house:

2)Like the sixth house you need to value yourself and your time and not help everyone.

law school episode 9 musings
warning: very very long post ahead. i have a lot of thoughts.
hey folks — how we feeling about episode 9?
given that there are so many plotlines in the show, i’m afraid i won’t be able to extend my analysis of the episode as far as i would like, but there are three characters who stood out to me the most last night that i’d like to talk about for now:
kang dan
there’s a lot that we got to uncover about her thanks to professor yang’s trial. if i’m piecing it all together right, the basic summary of what led to her disappearance goes like this:
she was a volunteer for assemblyman ko’s campaign, but upon discovering that he was spreading fake news about his opposition, dan reported him to the authorities (i’m guessing not just the police but also the media) and became a whistleblower. assemblyman ko tried to buy her off with money, but she refused, so he attacked her where she’s most vulnerable instead — by using her family.
i’m not completely sure about this (please feel free to correct me!) but it’s either byeol is (1) the twins’ half-sister, or (2) their stepsister? it’s so hard to tell, especially since korean terms can get lost in translation in the process (i watch on netflix, if that helps). but anyway, sol and dan’s mom married someone who was abusing her, and in exchange for dan’s silence (and her fleeing), the husband signs a contract that he would stop hurting his wife.
so that’s the backbone of dan’s story. however, this still doesn’t answer a lot of things, like where seo byungju or lee manho fits into the equation, the whereabouts of their mom’s ex-husband, or why dan was sent into boston in the first place.
i usually don’t like theorizing, but i do have one: there is an ivy league school located just outside of boston — harvard. (it’s technically in cambridge but you know, i’m taking liberties here.) professor yang said in passing one episode that he thought he saw dan when he went to the school for a seminar or a talk or something. could it be that assemblyman ko offered her an education at a top school in exchange for her silence? it could explain why she gave it up all so easily. what if she took that topnotch education as a chance to prepare, so that when she came back, she had much stronger leverage to take assemblyman ko down, given the knowledge and network of connections she’ll have earned in that school?
the theory’s plausible but i might be overestimating assemblyman ko’s kindness — unless he’s insanely desperate, he might not give a damn about dan’s education. it actually benefits him more if she stayed uninformed, but still. let me know what you think about it.
yoo seungjae
in this episode, we learned a little bit more about how yoo seungjae was able to hack into the professors’ laptops, and they also confirmed some of our previous speculations about him: that his wife yujeong was an ob gyn, and so was he, and that they were trying for a baby. unfortunately, i find it all to be a bit lacking in substance. i was hoping we could get down to the nitty-gritty of why he did what he did.
i say this for one important reason: i don’t know about you guys, but i would never make such a stupid mistake in undergrad, let alone in law school. seungjae has gone to med school, so we know that he knows the repercussions of his actions. why would he go to such lengths? sure, he found an opening, he was tempted, and he took it. but he didn’t just do it once, he did it multiple times, and those offenses add up (hacking, stealing exam papers, and cheating). surely he must know that something like this can ruin careers even before they even start, and not only would he get kicked out of the school, he would also get blacklisted from the industry once he implicates himself. so we understand why he’s so hesitant to testify (especially now that his wife is pregnant).
but why did he do that in the first place? we could say he’s insecure about his skills, but he’s survived med school. how much harder could law school be for him? i just don’t think that the payoff is worth the risk. what must be so important for yoo seungjae to do all of this for? what does he get in return if he successfully pulls it off and gets straight As during his entire time in law school? who is he doing for?
i hope it runs deeper than just wanting a ‘good future’ for him and his wife and their baby or something — because he could just as easily do that as a doctor. there must be another reason he went into law.
still, though, and this is just a personal opinion, even if i did find out his entire backstory, there’s no way i could ever defend him. we see in the show how his guilt builds up (from observing how kang sol A studies so well, to his conversation with jeon yeseul in the hospital), but at this point there is no more excusing what he did. not that i ever condoned it in the first place.
we’re still in the dark about a lot of things regarding yoo seungjae. hopefully by the next episode, we get something. but until then, he is still a shady, shady man to me.
kang sol B
her screen time in this episode was short, but i still wanted to highlight her because she is pretty much a ticking time bomb.
she’s in a tight spot right now because even if she testifies about having seen the sugar packet, the prosecutor will just twist the argument by saying she colluded with a murderer just to cover up her plagiarism.
and now, seo jiho needs her help, probably for something related to his case with prosecutor jin. in exchange, she puts pressure on him to ‘confirm’ that she didn’t plagiarize in middle school, since they were schoolmates and rivals.
there may be more to this plagiarism issue than meets the eye. who knows, we might find out later on that she actually didn’t plagiarize? but given what i know now, i have no reason to believe that she didn’t. i don’t blame her specifically for that, seeing as she has to pay for the consequences for something that her awful mom forced her to do. but now that the mess has been made, i want to see how she cleans it up.
kang sol B is a very elusive character to me. the scary thing about her is that she’s on no one’s side but her own. and that’s why i think she’s a ticking time bomb.
~
bonus: han joonhwi
so that’s all i have for the serious stuff. as a bonus, i’d like to talk about han joonhwi and his four (4) children jeon yeseul, seo jiho, kang byeol, and min bokgi.
one of my friends brought up how it’s so funny how he’s somehow just at the right place at the right time all the time. this happened when he ran into kang sol A when she was looking for yeseul (i still think they were on the phone with each other beforehand but this is just my shipper self talking — truthfully, if the focus was shifted towards that phone call without divulging who it was, i have a feeling it might be more important later on), and when seo jiho confronted prosecutor jin. adding his elevator conversation with kang sol B, i think it just solidified what we already know: han joonhwi is a very compassionate person. but he doesn’t sacrifice his own personality just to appease them — he recognizes that these individuals have agency, and he’s just giving them the little push they need to make them realize what they need to do.
i also felt the need to bring up kang byeol. the show does such a good job of ensuring that all the solhwi scenes that we get, no matter how indulgent and “fanservice-y” they might seem, actually have a deeper purpose. again, i could go on and on about what each solhwi scene has actually contributed to the development of the plot, which is exactly why i love them so much! because all of their scenes are so meaningful. but anyway, it’s nice to see han joonhwi care so much for his, ehem, future sister-in-law.
and for min bokgi — this scene was so short, but i absolutely loved it so much (i tend to pay attention to the throwaway scenes): min bokgi is going off about how yoo seungjae is acting weird, and he says to joonhwi, “hyung, you should call him.” and joonhwi responds with, “sure. eat your food.” it’s such a fatherly thing to do and it’s such a great contrast to bokgi’s dynamic with sol A, with whom he’s so loud and vibrant, moods that both match their personalities, but with joonhwi, who is more subdued, he’s like a little kid in need of rescue from an older brother, or even a dad. ah, i love it so much. min bokgi is such an underrated character. i wish he had more screen time. (if he doesn’t get a central ep, well, you guys know where i’m going with this, right? it means i’ll give it to him myself.)
~
so that’s it for now! i’m sorry i went on rambling again, but if there’s anything noteworthy in this post that you think is worth discussing, please do tell! if there’s anything that you found thought-provoking in the episode that i didn’t get to touch up on, let me know as well!
i personally don’t make any theories about the overarching plot myself, seeing as by the time the new episode comes out, we get fed information that renders the theory useless. still, that doesn’t mean we should stop coming up with our own ideas. sometimes, the theories are more interesting than the canon itself.

How to Pick a Date for Your Spells
The first advice of absolute importance is to avoid starting anything during the Moon's Void of Course. Things like interviews, important business meetings, initiating projects, and especially Spells likely won't turn out well or will remain unfinished.
When planning a date for your Spell, it's important to take into consideration the following things:
Moon Phase
Moon Sign
Day of the Week
Retrograde Planets
Make sure the above bullets points align with the goals of your Spell. We have a Moon Phase Planner for 2020 that has all the above information to help pick a date for your Spells!
For example, if we wanted to do a spell for Material Wealth:
December 24, 2020 is an excellent day because:
the Moon is Waxing and is close to a Full Moon
the Moon is in Taurus, the sign of luxury and material possessions
it’s a Thursday which is ruled by Jupiter - the planet of wealth and expansion
Venus is NOT Retrograde
Now keep in mind that these are guidelines for timing your spells with the best natural energy available. You can do a money spell any time you like (avoid the Void of Course Moon) but it may not have as much supportive energy compared to the above example. This is because of the reasons given in the example. Taurus, the ruler of wealth, is a much better sign for getting money compared to Cancer for example.
The following information will help guide you in planning a date for your Spells.
Moon in the Signs
Aries: ---------------
-Aries deals with energy, independence, competition, taking risks, the Self, and leadership.
-Do Spells that help with healing the physical body, advancing by overcoming competition, increasing vitality, first impressions, and with how you view yourself.
-Aries is a quick starter sign so it is a good to start things where much energy is needed; however it is also an impulsive sign so be sure to follow through with anything initiated during this time.
Taurus: ---------------
-Taurus deals with sensuality, material wealth, self-worth, and permanence.
-Do Spells for money, wealth, acquiring material things, improving your self-worth or self-esteem, and sensual love.
-Taurus is a steadfast and sometimes stubborn sign so it is good for initiating anything that you want to last.

-Gemini deals with communication (all forms), details, correspondence, short distance travel, people close to you such as siblings relatives and neighbors.
-Do Spells for helping communication go smoothly in case of a difficult conversation, improved relations with those close to you, help in all forms of writing activities such as emails, letters, calls, or professional writing.
- Gemini is a communicative sign so it is a good sign to support any form of communication.
Cancer: --------------- -Cancer deals with the family, home, nurturing, personal roots, emotional foundations, land, and property.
-Do Spells to help with improving family life, finding a good home to buy, cleansing/banishing/protecting the home, real estate transactions, and healing from childhood trauma.
-Cancer is a nurturing sign with motherly energy so it is a good sign for Self-love activities.
Leo: --------------- -Leo deals with romance, creativity, leadership, confidence, and children.
-Do Spells to help with romance, love affairs, improving creativity, leadership ability, confidence, success in the limelight, and career advancement in creative fields such as art, music, or acting.
-Leo is a proud sign that enjoys attention so it is a good sign for being “center-stage”.

-Do Spells to help with improving interpersonal interactions, attracting a marriage partner or business partner, making cooperative relationships go smoothly, or getting a divorce.
-Libra is a diplomatic sign so it is a good sign for making or breaking contracts.
Scorpio: --------------- -Scorpio deals with the occult, secrets, the subconscious, research, sex, power, and transformations.
-Do Spells to help with concealing or revealing secrets, increasing psychic powers, any form of divination, personal transformations, attaining power, starting research projects, and attracting sexual partners.
-Scorpio is a transformative sign so it is a good sign for doing shadow work.
Sagittarius: --------------- -Sagittarius deals with the law, religion, philosophy, higher education, learning, foreign places, and long distance travel.

Aquarius: --------------- -Aquarius deals with friends, communities, organizations, social activities, goals, group goals, freedom, and technology.
-Do Spells for help with attracting friendships, success in group activities and community events, creating and achieving goals, and attaining freedom.
-Aquarius is a unique sign so it is a good sign to help in becoming more creative and unique.

-Pisces is a psychic sign so it is a good sign to help develop psychic abilities.
Moon Phases
Full Moon - the highest point in the moon's cycle where its energies are at its peak. This is an excellent time for divination.
Note: when a Full Moon occurs twice in a month (October 31 2020) it is considered a Blue Moon. This is similar to a Full Moon but has more power
Waning Moon - the moon here is decreasing to a New Moon so its energies are that of degeneration. Use this time for banishing, cleansing, destruction or bringing anything to an end such as a relationship or bad habits.
New Moon - on the waning side of the New Moon, it has an ending type of energy as the moon is "disappearing". On the waxing side it has the energy of potential, ready for new beginnings.
Waxing Moon - a time of growth as the light of the moon increases to its peak at the Full Moon. Use this time to do Spells for building something up in your life such as health, new friendships.
Note: it is better to do the Spell closer to the Full/New Moon depending on the goal. Unless you want to do the Spells for multiple days, such as cleansing/banishing, you can start right after the Full Moon and end on the New Moon. This supports the goal of removing bad energy.
Days of the Week
Monday: ---------------
Monday is the day of the Moon. The moon carries feminine psychic energy and is a great day to start developing psychic abilities, perform divination, cleanse the home, or banishing rituals.
Tuesday: --------------- Tuesday is the day of Mars. Mars carries the masculine warrior energy and is a great day for doing Spells where much energy is needed. It is also a good day for black magick where the result is quick and active. Think of the moment when two swords clash.
Wednesday: --------------- Wednesday is the day of Mercury. Mercury rules all forms of communication, documents, short-distance travel, and health. This is a great day for doing Spells related to health, improving communication ability, difficult conversations, and safe travels.
Thursday --------------- Thursday is the day of Jupiter. Jupiter is the greater benefic and rules luck, opportunities, expansion, higher education, philosophy, foreign places, religion, and the law. Use this day for Spells that deal with expansion and opportunities, safe long-distance travels, and educational study.
Friday --------------- Friday is the day of Venus. Venus rules love, beauty, cosmetics, money, luxury, jewelry, and material possessions. Use this day for Spells to bring you money, acquire material possessions, and for successful cosmetic procedures.
Saturday --------------- Saturday is the day of Saturn. Saturn authority, structure, work ethic, endurance, delays, restrictions, boundaries, limitations, and decay.
