This is a snippet from like, around the middle half of the chapter. Everyone's usernames (hopefully obvious who is who) will roughly stay like this from this point onward, though they were slightly different at the start.

The timestamps on the messages are to give an indication of how much time is passing and when the messages are sent. I don't personally use military time, but for the sake of clarity, I'm using it to differentiate between am and pm. Their conversation is happening super early in the morning.

This whole fic started as dialogue practice and it just spiraled from there. Feel free to share your thoughts with me!!

Rough concept I was possessed to create while I have been trying to finish a Lavos Deluxe concept I have been trying to make for the better half of a year.

The Orokin script behind is something along the lines of:

Say what you want, but naming the last episode of Ahsoka after a book about Lion Jesus bringing British monarchy into a fantasy land is a fucking power move from Filoni and we should all respect him, at the very least, for that.

At this point I'm just getting high off reading and rereading Good Omens fan fiction to ease the pain of season 2 until October 5.

I will say it's numbing it slowly but surely.

Miyuki Hoshizora/Cure Happy

Note that blood type comes from the “Fan-Made PreCure Series Wiki,” but I am willing to assume they’re right in absence of contradictory evidence. (Seems pretty likely; O is a very anime hero blood type.)

Anyways. Miyuki has a bit more backstory than most Precures: She used to be a shy girl with no friends, until her grandma gave her a mirror to practice smiling with. That didn’t help, so she asked the mirror for a friend…and the mirror provided one. The mirror friend (who is possibly a fairy living inside the mirror) eventually vanished, but not before Miyuki gained the courage to talk to the neighbor kids. Several years later, she runs into a seemingly unrelated fairy and becomes her town’s first Pretty Cure.

By that point. Miyuki is a more typical genki girl; energetic, kind, friendly, optimistic. Also a clumsy slapstick magnet. Maybe that’s part of why she likes reading fairy tales so much; it’s a lot harder for slapstick to happen when you’re reading than when you’re playing soccer or something. (Unless you’re reading near the soccer field.) But also, she really likes fairy tales, particularly their happy endings.

Miyuki starts the series about as brave as any teenager who gets attacked by a wall that turns into a house, not helped by the fact that she didn’t instinctively understand how to use her new powers. But over time, she learns to be effective, to be strong, to be brave. Also, she makes friends along the way! Maybe that’s the real strength.
