The philosophy of science and mathematics has been a real game changer for the direction of my life in all honesty
#my ramblings#it's incredible stuff since i love concepts in the sciences (especially physics) and mathematics#however i personally cannot handle being a scientist or mathematican (i commend everyone who is one though!)#on the other hand (from my experience) fellow literature majors (i double major) are generally less favorable towards mathematics#anecdote: one of my writing professors asked “who here likes math�� and i was one of the few people who raised their hand#which that's fine but i really love more mathematical readings of works (especially science fiction!!) but that's kinda hard to talk about#it's easy with hard sci-fi and mathematical literature but it might be fun exploring science and mathematics in other works#hey! that's a fun project idea for me in spare time! might be fun to apply game theory to espionage literature and films
