2. The Observer, despite his aloof demeanor, has a soft spot for Earth history and culture, which he indulges in with Charlotte by watching historical dramas or reading books with her.

3. He constantly takes her in his arms or by the hand, tries to dissuade her from killing Marat. (😇)
