no because cas and dean should've had a physical bond. the amount of times they mentioned 'a special bond', just to not leave it at that? why not have dean laced with a thread of cas' grace in his blood. it wasn't supposed to happen, but somehow ended up being that way after cas ripped from hell by his ankles. like a string of fate was created by themselves, for themselves, because they weren't made for each other, but they are here anyways. an omen of something worth fighting for. why not actually explore the physicality of their insanity for each other.
