This was so frustrating. You, Mingi and Yunho were supposed to start your journey together through Hoenn after graduating from college. The three of you had even decided on who would pick which starter before you'd visit Professor Birch's lab in Littleroot town.
And now all of that planning had gone to waste.
Yunhos parents had decided that all of them would move to a far away region named Alola after you three had graduated and there was nothing none of you could do or say to put a stop to it. Yunho barely got any time to say goodbye to you two before he was whisked away on a plane.
Therefore the carefully crafted plan the three of you had made for how you'd travel and what you'd finally do on your journey had been ripped apart.
You and Mingi had still gone to get your very first pokémon's together. Yunho had specifically told the both of you to start your journey together and to make sure to do all you both wanted to do. He had then also whisked Mingi away from you and the two of them had whispered to each other looking very serious as they were bent trying to hide behind a plant as they spoke. Only problem was the plant may have been tall but they were significantly taller than said plant.
You had ended up laughing so much at their silliness you'd almost tripped over your own feet when making your way over to ask them what on earth they were doing. To which both had fumbled and almost knocked the plant over as they both denied even talking to each other.
And now here you and Mingi were, partners next to each other as you wandered into a new little town called Misty Village which is located in-between Slateport city and Mauville city. Mingi was holding his partner torchic in his hands, the tiny little chick pokémon could not keep up with her trainers long legs and would constantly make a fuss if she had to walk on the ground next to Mingi, resulting in your friend carrying her most of the time to please "her royal highness" as he had lovingly dubbed her. Your partner on the other hand was happily trotting next to you, finding joy in just walking with you. You glanced down at your mudkip who was easily one of the happiest pokémons you'd ever come across. There never seemed to be a dull moment with him around and was there one thing he loved doing then it was sightseeing.
Sometimes when you two sat up camp he'd find the most scenic place to just sit and take it all in, often your whismur would join him in sightseeing while your third and currently final pokémon shroomish would scoff and follow you instead like a little shadow.
It was funny really how both you and Mingi had three pokémon each, the two of you hadn't meant to have the same amount of friends but it just happened so naturally that neither of you questioned it. You're brought out of your daydreaming when you hear Mingi chuckle for himself causing you to look at your friend curiously.
"What are you giggling about?" You ask, taking in his smile and how his eyes are shining with such happiness.
I wonder if he'd ever look at me with such shining eyes. You muse to yourself before focusing back on what Mingi is about to say.
"I just realized I got two pokémon's who refuse to walk next to me because I walk too fast for their little legs and that both want to be carried all the time. Imagine if all of my friends ends up like Torchic and Bellossom?" He asks and torchic looks up at him with curious eyes letting out a little "Torchic?" as Mingi smiles and give her little head a kiss.
"Hmmmm it's either that or they turn out like Bagon who likes headbutting you from time to time." You mention and with that he giggles again.
"Then if I can choose I'll take a few more passenger princesses rather than more friends who will headbutt me or perhaps bite me." He says, thinking back to the most recent time bagon had headbutted him in the stomach.
He knows the little dragon pokémon means well and that that's how he shows affection. Mingi just wishes from time to time that he would show affection in a less brutal way. But the last time, Mingi had made a little cardigan for his friend with a pair of wings. It hadn't looked good at all and he had worked weeks upon weeks to sew the cardigan but bagon had been so happy he'd shed tears upon seeing the wings on the cardigan and then he had promptly headbutted Mingi in affection.
It was to the point where he never took it off and if Mingi tried just so he could wash it his friend would run and hide behind your leg, peeking out and scolding him from afar.
"Awww but he's just showing his affection for you Mingi! Plus you literally gave him wings, the one thing he wishes he could have so he could fly. That probably meant more to him than you know." You muse, nudging Mingis arm with your elbow.
"You're right, I know. Bellossom have now started to ask for a little bracelet... she often points at mine and then show her own little arms." He confesses and you feel your heart slowly melting at the affection he has for his friends.
"I think that would be cute, I could teach you how to bead a bracelet if you'd like? I just need to buy some material first." You tell him.
"You'd do that for me?"
"I'd do anything for you."
"I'd do anything for you as well Y/n." He says sincerely and he's reminded of the two tickets tucked away securely in one of the many pockets in his backpack.
Two tickets to the meteor shower in Mossdeep City at their Space Center. He wished to ask you if you wanted to go with him there and watch the meteor shower. It would be the perfect place to confess and ask if you wanted to be his partner. Yunho had encouraged him before he had to leave for the plane that he should take this time to actually confess to you. Claiming that it was easy to see you also had feelings for him, something Mingi had denied and said that couldn't possibly be true. Then Yunho had the audacity to say alright bet! So now if Yunho was correct he'd owe him lunch, drinks and dessert next time they see each other.
What Mingi doesn't know is that you also have feelings for him, it's just that you don't know how to bring it up and tell him about it. You had once confessed to Yunho about how you had tried once when you and Mingi worked on a project together in college only to chicken out in the last minute to which Yunho had tried to urge you to confess with a beaming smile and an attitude that said just do it you won't regret it.
"Hey Y/n, I was just wondering... Do you think you'd like t-" Mingi starts but is interrupted by your mudkip.
"Mudkip! Mud!" Your partner screeches in joy as you see him rush forward in happiness.
"Mudkip! Wait don't run too far!" You call after the little blue creature, sprinting after him in worry that you'd loose him in the crowd at this new place. Mingi sprints after you as well trying to keep his eyes on both you and your partner. He doesn't want to loose sight of either of you.
Your partner just calls back to you in happiness as he jumps into a fountain in the middle of the square you have entered where he swims around in happiness and splashes about.
"Mudkip! You can't just run away like that! What if I lost sight of you or you got lost!" You scolded your friend whose only response is to splash some water in your face and jump around laughing adorably.
"God you're impossible to stay mad at." You sigh as you bring out a towel to dry your face.
"Mudkip next time just tell us where you wanna go instead of running away and giving us both a heart attack thinking we might loose you." Mingi joins in on the scolding and the two of you can hear an older woman who's sitting at the fountain chuckle about how the two of you look like two parents scolding their child.
Does it cause Mingis face to turn beet red and yours to heat up to the point you think your face is on fire? Yes, yes it does and the two of you are quick to splutter out apologies to her for the commotion you four caused.
"Oh don't worry dearies, it's nice seeing trainers really care for their pokémons, it warms my heart. And this sweetheart just seemed to want to have some fun." She pets your mudkip who had swam up to her in curiosity as she spoke.
"I hope he didn't splash you with any water when he jumped in?" You ask worriedly, ready to offer up your towel in case she'd say yes.
"Oh no he didn't. I'm completely dry."
"That's good, Mudkip you and I will have to have a talk about running away after this." You grumble and he just nods happily as he swims up to the two of you and jumps up on the stones so you can pick him up with your towel to dry him.
"Well... At least we know people here are nice." Mingi mumbles as he looks around, he's slightly bummed he didn't manage to ask you about the tickets but the day isn't over, he will just try again soon he tells himself.
"We have a festival going on here in Misty Village if you two would be interested? There's all kinds of things to do, eat food, learning how to do pokéblocks, vendors selling things and more." The old lady kindly tells the two of you before she stands up and bids the two of you goodbye.
"Pokéblocks? I wonder what that is." You ask as you hold mudkip, still wrapped in your towel.
"Perhaps we should go and find out? It must be something for our pokémons and I wouldn't mind learning something new if It could benefit her royal highness." He says as torchic chirps out in happiness at her nickname.
"Let's go and see what they have to offer!" You grab his hand and wander into the crowd and towards all the different stalls.
Mingi has to fight the blush on his cheeks from you holding his hand and he can see how torchic laughs at his blushing face, she's clearly enjoying him being flustered over you taking action and holding his hand.
"Don't you laugh at me." He grumbles towards her quietly.
"Hey look! That stall is teaching about berries and their benefits! Let's go there! I wanna know more so we know what to pluck next time we see them!" You gasp as a young man is standing at a stall, berries lying neatly on his table with small notes next to each one.
"Hello! Care to learn a bit about berries and their benefits? You'll get some berries at the end of it if you'd like?" He asks when he spots the two of you walking closer.
"Yes please! We wanna know more!" You say happily and Mingi looks at you from behind with a fond look.
"Mudkip!" Your partner agrees with you.
"Of course I'll tell you everything you need to know!" The young man smiles happily as the four of you stand looking at what he's got displayed.
"Are all of these all of the berries you can find in the wild?" Mingi asks as he eyes the wide array of colorful berries on the table.
"Oh no these are only a handful of them! There are about 43 different kinds of berries in the wild here in Hoenn." The vendor tells him and both you and Mingi stare at him with wide eyes.
"43?!" The both of you exclaim at the same time and the vendor laughs heartily at your reaction.
"I know I reacted the same way when I first learned how many there were and they all do different things you know!" He picks some up and showcases them for you.
"I think I recognize some of these." You murmur as you point towards what you think is an oran berry and a pecha berry. "That one is an oran berry right? It helps heal your pokémon when they need energy and the pink one is a pecha berry which helps heal your pokémon if it's been poisoned right?"
"You would be correct! This one over here is commonly mistaken for a pecha berry but it's actually a magost berry and is more commonly used in either cooking or when making pokéblocks!" You and Mingi look closer at the two pink berries he's holding up, you note that the pecha berry has more of a heart shape and is a darker pink closer to the stem and down at the bottom is a lighter pink while the magost berry is just one solid pink and round instead of heart-shaped.
"Hey what kind of berry is this one?" Mingi asks as he picks up an orangy red berry that is round with what looks like spikes coming out of it.
"That is a tamato berry, it's very very very spicy. I would not recommend eating it or giving it to any of your pokémons. It will only lower their speed, if you wanna spice up your cooking it could be good to use in small quantities unless you can tolerate spice of course."
You look at Mingi as the vendor speaks and you can practically see the cogs turning in his head thinking that it cannot be that spicy and you just know he wants to try it despite being warned not to.
"Mingi... don't do it..." You try and take the berry away from him but that causes him to only turn his body away holding the berry as high as he can.
"No! I wanna try it."
"Mingi please last time you ate something super spicy you couldn't taste anything for three weeks."
"It can't be that spicy!" He argues as he looks at you with those big round eyes and you groan knowing you cannot say no or change his mind.
"Fine but don't come to me whining that you can't taste anything or that it's too hot for you!" You grumble, knowing that if he came to you whining that it's way too hot and spicy you'd try and help him in a heartbeat.
"Are you sure you wanna try it?" The vendor asks and Mingi just nod before taking the largest bite he could out of the darn berry. You stare at him as he chew slowly but surely and then he swallows it and at first you'd think there was nothing wrong at all until you notice the small beads of sweat traveling down his forehead and then you notice the red starting to creep up from his neck.
"T-torchic?" His partner looks at him concerned before wiggling out of his grip and jumping onto the table and runs over to you with worried eyes.
"Torchic?" She leans into you and you pet her little head as you watch Mingi go bright red in the face as he tries to pretend everything is fine.
"Mingi... you okay?" You ask, fearing he might pass out from how red he is.
"I'm... I'm fine." He says and he manages to uphold that facade for about three seconds before he starts gasping trying to cool his mouth down.
"It's hot! Y/n it feels like my mouth is on fire!! What do I do what do I do what do I do?!" He waves his hands around as he takes deep gulps of air and you panic looking around for something to cool him down.
"Umm water... we need water!" You start searching your bag but can't find anything. "Argh! Okay uhhh.. Oh! Mudkip!" You turn to your partner and point towards Mingi.
"Use water gun on Mingis face to help cool him down!!" You say and you can barely hear Mingis little "wait what" before mudkip blasts him with a stream of water in his face.
"Do you feel better now?" You ask hesitantly as he shakes his head trying to get rid of the water from his face.
"Yeah... Thanks to the both of you, I genuinely thought I was gonna explode from how hot it was."
Torchich runs back up to her trainer and look at him with worried eyes, is there another thing she absolutely hates then it's when one of you gets hurt. She's always very sweet and right now she's doing her best to check up on Mingi as tears forms seemingly as if she thinks he was hurt very badly.
"Hey, hey your royal highness, don't be upset. I promise I'm okay, I was just dumb trying to impress Y/n but I made a fool out of myself. I won't do it again okay?" He says with a gentle smile as he crouches down to her eye level. She looks at him with teary eyes before running up to him to nuzzle his face chirping.
Mingi picks her up and kisses her little head before turning to mudkip and crouching down to him.
"Hey buddy, thanks for blasting me with the water, it really helped." He smiles and mudkip jumps forward into his arms with happiness.
"I think we should abandon any thoughts of eating things people say are super, super, super spicy for the rest of the day." You mutter as you place your hand on your hip and he looks up at you and chuckles.
"Were you worried about me?" He teases with a smirk and you roll your eyes.
"Nooo..."
"You sure?"
"Okay maybe a little worried, you looked like you'd explode with how red you were." You confess trying to act nonchalant even though you had felt panic for a split second before remembering that mudkip was a water type and could therefore help out in the situation.
The two of you apologized to the vendor for the scene Mingi caused by going against what he had recommended and the young man only laughed and said that it was nice seeing two young adults actually interested in berries to the point where he gifted the two of you a book on berries in the wild and other herbs you can eat or use to help heal your pokémons. The two of you had tried to deny it but he insisted, saying it might be for Mingis best if you two had one so he don't go around eating other berries he shouldn't and end up in trouble again.
That had made Mingis face burn in embarrassment.
The two of you then wander down the street after bidding the man goodbye. The street is filled with people, old and young and their pokémons. It's surprisingly cozy and the atmosphere is great and it's a nice break from always being out on the road and sleeping in sleeping bags under the stars.
Which is great until it starts raining and the two of you have to try and set up a tent in panic. Leading to both of you sitting in said tent absolutely drenched.
"Hey Mingi." You start trying to muster up the courage to tell him you like him more than a friend since Yunho had encouraged you to do so a few months back.
"Yeah?"
"You know I-" You start but when you make eye contact with him it's like the words get lodged in your throat and you can't get it out. "You know what never mind, I forgot what I was gonna say." You say laughing awkwardly.
"Mudkip! Mud Mudkip!" Your partner points one of its stubby little legs at you with an accusatory tone as if scolding you for not telling him.
Mudkip did after all know about your feelings for your friend. You had told him plenty of times during restless nights when Mingi snored away in his sleeping bag. Your other friends knew as well as they sometimes refused to go to sleep if you were awake, shroomish would plop himself in your lap and just sit there, sometimes staring at you, sometimes chatting with you and one time he had even put you to sleep by using sleep powder on you. Something you had berated him for the next day and then promptly after that thanked him for the good nights sleep.
"Hey buddy I'm sure whatever Y/n wanted to tell me will come back soon. It happens to the best of us that we forget sometimes. Plus you know you can tell me anything, I'll always listen." He says in that lower voice he gets when he's being very sincere and mudkip looks at him and then huffs looking away to the side.
"Speaking of that ummm I was wondering if you want-" Some kids rush in between the two of you laughing as they chase a balloon and it stunts Mingi who once again feels like his moment to ask you about the meteor shower has been lost.
"What did you want to say Mingi?" You look at him, mentally making sure him and your partners are okay.
"Oh nothing we can take it a bit later I promise." He says before he barely have time to process the fact that he failed yet again.
You nod and look around seeing a place you wanna go to, it’s a stand where you can learn a bit more about taking care of your pokémons and they seem to be giving out bags with things inside for people visiting.
“Oohhh I wanna go over there! They seem to be helping with pokémon care and I’d like to ask them for some tips on taking care of Whismur, do you wanna come with me?” You turn to face Mingi who looks thoughtful for a moment before noticing another place.
“I think I’m gonna go over there to the flower stand, Bellossom would probably enjoy all the flowers.” He says as he thinks of his little grass friend and you smile fondly at him.
“Mudkip wanna come with me?” You ask your partner who is still in Mingis arms.
“Mud!” He wiggles out of Mingis grip and then jumps down onto the ground before trotting up to you happily.
“Shall we meet over at the gigantic flower pot in twenty minutes?” You ask thinking that that would be an appropriate time for the both of you to explore the two places you’d like to visit.
“Sure! See you soon?”
After that the two of you split up and as you walk over to the stand you’re greeted by a kind lady who asks what she can help you with and you tell her you’d want some tips on taking care of your whismur, letting her know that she often cries and doesn’t like when her fur gets wet leading to you finding it hard to clean her if she’s gotten extra dirty.
“Ah I see, it could just be that she has a very gentle nature, sometimes if they do they can feel a lot of things be very overwhelming all of the time. For cleaning her I’d suggest you try using a damp cloth instead of water, that way it might not feel as unpleasant as she thinks it is.” The lady explains and you nod thinking that what she has said might actually be true.
“Would it be okay if I brought her out so you could just perhaps do a little check?” You ask wanting to make sure her tips would actually work on her and not make it all worse.
“Of course, I’ll gladly have a look at her.” She says and you’re quick to bring whismur out of her pokeball.
“Hi Whismur.” You say happily as she looks around before spotting you and she perks up giving you the cutest little smile as she runs up to you.
“Whismur!” She greets you happily and the lady smiles at your interaction as you let her hold your hand in her little paws.
“Just from this interaction alone I can tell you care a lot for her and that she’s well taken cared of. She is probably the happiest Whismur I’ve ever seen and I’ve seen a lot of them. None have been this happy as yours.”
“Wait really?!” You look at her in surprise before looking down again, happiness spreading in your chest at the thought of getting such nice praise for how you’re raising your pokémon.
“Yes really, Whismurs can be notoriously hard to take care of since they have such sensitive hearing and a lot of people dub them as cry babies so seeing yours calm, happy and generally content is a sight to behold. Good job!” Her praise makes you grin, it’s not often you get praise and getting this good praise from someone who knows what they’re talking about is something else.
She then brings over a damp towel and hands it to you so you can see if whismur will prefer it over just water. You take your time at the stall, asking her lots of questions regarding pokémon care and getting more tips for how to continue to take care of them in the best way possible.
In the other stall Mingi is sitting on the ground with his torchic on his left side as bellossom dances around in happiness at being surrounded by flowers everywhere. The vendors had told him he could make his own bouquet if he wanted to and hand it to someone he cared about and his first thought had been to create something for you. You had once during college mentioned offhandedly how you’d love to be gifted a bouquet of flowers some day and now he had his chance to gift you a bouquet he had made all on his own.
“Okay Torchic, Bellossom you two will have to help me here.” He leans down and gathers them closely as he lowers his voice to tell them what’s going on. ”I want to make a bouquet for Y/n but I need your help in picking which flowers goes nicely together. Think you two can help with that?”
Torchic jumps up and down before nodding happily while bellossom does some little twirls around as she puts her little paws up to her face looking absolutely delighted at the request.
”Bell, bellossom!” She’s quick to point out some baby’s breath together with some sunflowers as she looks at Mingi with intensity.
”Okay yeah we can go with those two.” He nods as he plucks some and starts building the bouquet together.
”Do you two think I should add some carnations?” He adds as he holds up some darker red ones together with a few white ones as well and torchic nods seemingly approving of his choice to add the two pretty flowers.
The three of them sit for a while building the bouquet together, torchic demands he add some thistles as she spots them to which he does because who is he to deny her anything? He soon sits in silence, tongue sticking out lightly as he concentrates on making the bouquet pretty and after what felt like an eternity he thinks he’s done. He had added som greenery to give it variation and made sure to show both his little friends for approval before he went and asked for a ribbon to tie it all together.
”Think Y/n will like this?” He asks and to his surprise his third and final pokémon decides to come out of his pokéball just at that moment.
”Bagon?”
Mingi is surprised, usually this little fella stays in his pokeball unless Mingi calls for him. Bagon ignores him as he studies the bouquet intensely, his little arms crossed making it look like he’s thinking really hard of it’s okay or not.
“Torchic tor?”
“Bell bellossom!”
“Bagon Bagon!” The dragon nods after he and the little ladies seemingly discuss it back and forth before all three giving Mingi their approval.
“Thanks you three.” He chuckles finding their actions funny. All three of them looked at him encouragingly as if saying you got this go ask them about it now! Bagon was even holding out its little paw as if he were doing a fist bump upwards to show that he was supportive.
“Oh what a lovely bouquet you’ve made! So full of beautiful meanings.” One of the older ladies holding a bucket of flowers says as she passes Mingi.
“Oh thank you! And meaning? What do you mean by that?” He asks curiously to which she responds by telling him that every flower has a hidden meaning and then explains what the flowers he’s picked means. By the end of her explanation after she’s walked off his cheeks are tinted a rosy color before looking at his partners.
“Did you two know about this when you helped me pick out the flowers?” He asks suspiciously and torchic just giggles before hiding behind bagon and his little cardigan while bellossom just gives him an innocent smile pretending like she doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
He clears his throat as he tries to will away the blush that's crept up his cheeks after knowing the meaning behind his bouquet and stands up.
"I think the time is up now, let's go and see Y/n and hopefully I can ask about the tickets this time."
The four of them wander out and towards the big flower pot you two had agreed to meet at. It seems he's the first one there so they stay there and wait for a while before spotting you, mudkip and whismur making your way over there. When you spot him you wave excitedly before holding up a big bag as if to show off the presents you got from the stall you had visited in excitement.
"Look at all the things I got for us Mingi!" You say as you open the bag for him to peer inside and see the large amount of things you had been gifted.
"Woah that's a lot of things."
"It is and I learnt so much so now I will be even better at taking care of our pokémons! I can teach you as well if you'd like."
"I'd like that." He smiles before looking down at the flowers and then he holds them out quickly towards you.
"I made these for you."
"For me?" He can hear the surprise in your voice and when you take them from his hands he dares glance at you and nod. "You said you wanted a bouquet of flowers once in college remember?"
"You remember that?" You asks not believing he'd actually remember your offhanded remark about being gifted flowers.
"I remember everything you tell me." He mumbles as bagon nudges his leg trying to make him remember what they wanted him to do.
"Hey Y/n do you think you'd like to go with me to umm."
"Yes? Go with you where?" You ask looking at him, part of you feel hopeful that perhaps he'd ask you to go with him somewhere special and when Mingi makes eye contact with you the words get stuck once again in his throat and he doesn't really know what to say.
"Go with me to the stand over there? They're teaching you to make pokéblocks." He can hear bagon groan down near his leg and he opts to ignore him knowing that if he looks down the little dragon type will 100% scold him from backing down once again.
"Oh sure!" You say, trying to hide the disappointment since you had thought that Mingi would ask you something else entirely after gifting you flowers.
Your little gang ends up sitting on the ground with two pots in front of you as the instructor goes over how to make pokéblocks for your pokémons, describing them as a kind of snack a lot of them will prefer and going over the different colors which co-respond to a different flavor and how certain pokémons will prefer one flavor over the other.
You and Mingi sit and concentrate as you put in the berries you've chosen and the other ingredients, stirring around as you make sure nothing will burn. Mudkip looks at what you're doing with concerned eyes, he trusts you a lot but right now he's not so sure he trusts what you're doing with how much steam is coming out from the pot.
"Hey look! I managed to make some blocks!" Mingi shows off his blocks proudly from the little dispenser you'd pour the batter into to then plop one block out at a time. They are a bit wonky looking and you weren't sure they were supposed to look like that at all.
"You sure those are edible?" You ask and he gasp at you looking offended.
"You don't think my pokéblocks are edible?! I put in blood sweat and tears into these." He says dramatically before plopping three of them out.
"Here guys don't you wanna try some? I made them for you!" He beams and his pokémons eye the pokéblocks with suspicion. Torchic is the brave one and tries one and she makes the strangest face, looking similar to how you feel when eating a lemon, before running around in circles and crying out seemingly how bad it was.
"Don't think she approved of it." You muse forgetting to momentarily stir your pot.
"Whismur! Whis!" Whismur is quick to remind you in fear of yours turning out worse than what she had just witnessed.
"It can't be that bad Torchic!" Mingi looks at her surprised before looking at his other friends, bellossom is pretending to be asleep while bagon just stares at him with a don't you even dare type of face.
"Here I'll try one and prove they're not bad!" He says before plopping one in his mouth and he chews a bit trying to pretend it tastes good but his facial expressions betray him.
"That bad huh?"
"Yeah ummm this needs some more practice I think, eugh don't worry guys I won't feed you any more until I'm better at this." He makes sure to throw his away.
"This is why you leave the cooking to me." You boast proudly and Mingi gives you a massive side eye.
"I don't think they should be a burnt color like yours are." He hits back and you look down at your blocks.
"They're not that bad! Here Whismur! Try one!" You hold one out and she just pretends she couldn't hear you, looking around hoping someone would save her. "Mudkip? You wanna try one?" You try again and he trots up and sniffs at one of them before taking the tiniest bite with a polite smile.
"See!"
"He is not enjoying that at all!"
"It can't be that bad!"
You quickly eat one as well only to start coughing at how bad the taste was.
"Yeah no no ew that wasn't good at all... I think I need more practice at this as well." You mutter before apologizing to mudkip for having to eat that.
"I guess making pokéblocks isn't our forte at all."
The two of you start snickering and giggling after making eye contact finding this whole scenario funny. You both agree that if you are to create any for your friends that the two of you will work together and always taste before giving any to your friends to make sure they actually taste well.
"Oh yes you wanted to ask me something earlier Mingi? When those kids ran between us and right before we split up?" You ask curiously, it's been on your mind the entire day the fact that he's tried to ask you something but every time something has come up which has made him unable to properly ask what he wants to.
"Oh hehe." He laugh as the two of you stands up ready to walk out from this place and bagon stares at Mingi with so much intent ready to do something drastic in case Mingi doesn't ask you this time.
His patience is running thin.
"Oh it's nothing don't worry about iitt!" Mingi barely has any time to finish his sentence before bagon headbutts him in the back causing him to fly forward and land onto of you with an oof.
"Ah! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for that to happen! Bagon! You can't knock into me like that." He berates the pokemon before checking up on you.
"Ar you okay? Did I hurt you?? I'm so sorry..." He sits up and makes sure you're okay.
"I'm fine my butt hurts a bit but otherwise i'm fine.. Are you okay?" You ask.
"I am. Okay here goes nothing I guess." He says taking a deep breath before continuing. "Y/n, do you want to go and watch the meteor shower in Mossdeep city with me at their space center? I got two tickets and I would like to go with you if you want to? I know we weren't suppose to head to Mossdeep next but I'd really want to do this with you." He blurts out before he lets the opportunity go again.
"Meteor shower?" You say before your eyes light up. "Of course I wanna go! Oh Mingi that would be so much fun!" You say as you also think about how it would be pretty romantic to watch the stars fall together with him.
"Yeah?" His gummy smile is making an appearance again and you giggle at bagons proud look behind the two of you before nodding.
"Yeah, I'd like that."
It takes a few days to get to Mossdeep city but the two of you manages to hitch a ride with constable Jenny to the closest port to take a boat over so you'd get there quicker than you would walking. You still have the flowers Mingi had gifted you sticking out of your bag and every time you looked at him your heart warmed at the sight. Getting these tickets to the space center wasn't an easy task meaning Mingi had gone out of his way to get them behind your back just so he could ask you to go with him.
A part of you wondered if this was a date or not. Perhaps you should take Yunhos advice and confess to him when the two of you are watching the meteors. What could go wrong? Yunho had insisted that Mingi wouldn't reject you and that you'd get the outcome you were hoping for so perhaps it would be a good idea to tell him today?
Those were the thoughts running through your head as the two of you got off the boat and steered your way towards the space center. It was almost time for the meteor shower to start since the boat had taken up most of the day when traveling.
"Hello and welcome to Mossdeeps space center, are you here for the meteor shower?" The receptionist asks kindly as you two enters, hand in hand.
"Hello! We are! I got two tickets right here." Mingi tells her before handing over the tickets. Once they were scanned the lady let you both inside and told you to go up the stairs to gain access to the top floor to be able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful show.
"I'm so excited to see the beautiful show, especially now that I'm here with you." You confess, cheeks heating up slightly at the confession.
"I'm just glad you said yes." He admits, cheeks turning a slight rosy color as well.
Mingi guides you to a spot in the middle of the open balcony where a little bench is sitting and the two of you sit down together. Your hands still linked together as if it will help the both of you to gain courage to say what you want to say.
In Mingis head Yunhos words from right before he left for the plane echos. "You should confess Mingi, I know they'll say yes I promise they feel the same about you. Go for it." Should he go for it? He thinks he should, it's the perfect place to confess and if he doesn't do it now he might regret it for the rest of his life.
In your head unknowingly to Mingi, Yunhos words are also echoing in your head. You think back to that conversation and wonder if Yunho knows something you don't, you haven't been able to figure it out if he's telling the truth about Mingi liking you back or if he's just being a nice friend who's encouraging you to speak your truth. And in this moment you decide it's best to do so. No matter what the consequences might be.
"Hey Mingi I need to tell you something."
"Hey Y/n I need to tell you something."
The two of you look at each other in surprise before chuckling at the fact that you both said the same thing at the same time.
"Sorry you go first Mingi."
"But you spoke first." He says and you shake your head insisting he should talk first thinking he just wants to tell you something normal.
"Okay then... Here goes nothing. I really like you Y/n, not like like you only as a friend, I like you more than a friend." He starts before looking you in the eyes and holding your hands in his tightly. "I love you like a lot. More than I think I realize myself and I just had to tell you before I explode from keeping it inside for much longer." He confesses sincerely and you gape at him in surprise, never would you have thought that he'd confess to you.
"It's okay if you don't feel the same I just had to tell you."
"I love you too!" You blurt out to stop his ramblings.
"Wait really?"
"Yes! For a long time now actually, ever since college when we first met, that's when my crush started which then developed into something more. I was actually gonna confess to you as well but you beat me too it." You smile and the smile Mingi gives you could rival a thousand suns before he dives in for a hug.
"Would you want to be my partner?" He asks quietly as if he's scared you'd say no right after confessing you have feelings for him.
"I'd love nothing more than that Mingi." You tell him before lightly holding his chin after breaking the hug. "May I give you a kiss?"
"You may." He giggles and you lean in giving him a quick little kiss on his lips before settling in next to him, leaning your head on his shoulder as he leans his head on yours.
The two of you continue to cuddle as the meteor shower starts up in the sky, everything is just perfect in this moment in time and you couldn't be happier. Perhaps you need to thank bagon later on for giving Mingi the push he needed to ask you to come here with him.
Speaking of said pokémon, he and the others bursts out of their pokéballs to join you in watching the sky. Some cuddle in your laps while others sit on the ground in front of you enjoying the scenery.
"You know what I just realized?" Mingi muses and you tilt your head up to look at him. "I owe Yunho a drink, lunch and dessert now the next time we see him."
Yeah you think, perhaps neither of you would have had the courage to confess had he not urged the both of you to say something.
But for now you'd enjoy the perfect evening with your friends and boyfriend.

Could I maybe request a Mari x Reader fic? Maybe them trying to stay warm during the winter nights and/or just being extremely close and the other yjs catching on?
tysm for ur rq anon!! i hope i managed to writw what u wanted n like it<33
Mari Ibarra x reader
summary: just how u and mari started to get really close and be each others safe space when things got rough during winter<3
notes: Missing mari like a mf to the point winter is a trigger word for me cuz she😭died😭during😭winter😭also wilderness has been hella boring without the only latina diva frfr
˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀˚ ༘♡ ⋆。˚ ❀˚ ༘♡ ⋆˚
༘⋆ if being stranded in the wilderness wasn't already enough, when winter came everything got worst, jackie’s sudden death changed everything, it was obvious to tell after that how everyone was different, the numb feeling of losing someone very dear was still fresh, you could feel it was just some few days ago since laura’s accident, and jackie now being gone put a toll on everyone’s mental health again, especially Mari, who was in charge of the food, in a more realistic way, the one in charge to keep everyone alive.
༘⋆ the bear’s meat won't last till spring, shauna always taking way too long to bring it, everyone stressed and being forced to keep inside the cabin, and especially, not letting you both have time alone.
༘⋆ you and mari werent the closest, but if theres one thing you were “grateful” for the crash, was that it got you closer, she's such a sweet girl, funny, lovely, fearless, always so responsible with the chores, she was just so cool it made you wonder why you never befriended her before everything.
༘⋆ but there was something about her that made you heart soft, maybe its the way she isn't afraid to stand up for her word even if got her some icky looks from shauna, or how shes with you, kind, always including you in everything and never letting you be alone, whatever it was, it just made you fall even harder for her… and it was the same for Mari.
༘⋆ there was still some fear of being out to everyone, even when tai and van decided to came out in that attempt of party, so you decided to be closer when no one was watching, it was more peaceful and comfortable, especially at nights.
༘⋆ Mari’s favourite time is when everyone was asleep, its only at that time when got to hold you during night without fear of someone noticing, just you and her being closer till your noses rubbed together, small talks sometimes discussing what could have happened if the plane never crashed, how she missed slushies, and promised you that as soon as you got rescued she’s gonna take you to try the best cheese burgers.
༘⋆ thats why after winter came mari changed, not being able to be alone with you and just pretend that everythings fine made her more annoyed, she refused to sleep together because it was “too risky now” but you know how bad she missed being able to hold each other under the covers.
༘⋆ days passed and at this point you didnt care anymore, that same night after shauna came with the great news that “we’re out of meat” and made mari more annoyed, you decided to crawl to her mat while everyone was in their fifth hungry dream and just finally be by her side again
༘⋆ it surprised her but you neither know that neither of you could go more days without eachother
“wait what are you doing??”
“just wanted to be with you, and no i dont care if someone sees us”
༘⋆ she giggled but didn't make an effort to get you out of there, instead she just hugged you more closely, mari just missed you so much to care if tai decided to sleep walk again and get van to chase her and then see you both.
“you know i think i was a little stupid to put our whatever is this in a “”time out”” for fear, i actually dont give a single fuck if someone sees us, winter is less cold like this” giving your nose a sweet kiss she moved closer, now decided and fearless if someone saw you like that
“oh finally? you almost got me praying that you finally admit it” a chuckled escaped her but it was true, how someone who didnt give a single fuck about shauna’s state and still faced her now fear her team finding out she likes girls?
༘⋆ Mari missed this, missed you and she knows she gonna need you more than anything now that winter is about to get more rough for you, for her and for everyone….

ᝰ.ᐟ after having to endure locker room conversation since his blue lock days all the way up to his pro days, yukimiya realizes that if he wants to show you just how serious he is about his thoughts on his relationship with you, he needs to make his mark on you. ( fem!reader )

Tumblr media
To love someone is to know them.
You love Kenyu Yukimiya with all your heart; you know his hopes and his dreams, his fears and the tiny voice in his head that serves to either goad or encourage him. The two of you grew up together, attending all the same Catholic private schools up ‘til he went pro fresh out of high school graduation, and you decided to attend a tiny, private all girls university.
You know that he’s kind and funny, much more outgoing and adventurous than you. You know that he can be gentle, and that he chooses to always be gentle with you. You know that he loves you just as much as you love him.
But while distance makes the heart grow fonder, perhaps it’s the distance that has caused this newfound unfamiliarity between the two of you.
“Kenny, I don’t… I don’t understand.” You’re lying down on your painfully small twin-sized mattress in your dorm room. Kenyu’s on top of you, his body hovering over your own. He gives you that familiar, comforting smile of his as he asks you gently (your Kenyu’s always so gentle with you),
“We love each other, don’t we?”
“Of course we do.” You say softly. Your arms are by your side, and you’re playing with the frills on the oversized comforter of your bed. Your whole entire room still screams girl. Yukimiya finds it endearing; he finds everything about you so damn endearing. Your floral quilts, and the stuffed animals he’s won for you from claw machines and unfairly rigged carnival games. Your fluffy comforter, and the way you always love to wear dresses, even when it’s just to attend a lecture.
And your unwavering innocence.
Everyone knows that Catholic private schools aren’t as pristine as the parents of the students like to claim it is, but you’re the only one who remained devout. The only one who genuinely stayed true to the lessons taught. You didn’t drink, you didn’t smoke, you didn’t sneak out. The only parties you attended were birthday parties chaperoned by a trusted adult and held in the early afternoon. You always followed the dress code and never tried to get away with folding the waistband of your school-issued skirt to make it shorter, like some of the other girls did. Hell, Kenyu had to literally ask your father for permission to date you before he asked you out.
And while Kenyu’s always been on his best behavior, it’s not like he’s unaware of the world. He’s not naive like you. And that’s okay. One of you has to know enough to lead the other; Yukimiya’s more than happy that he’s the one taking on that role.
The thing is, Kenyu truly does love you. It’s why he doesn’t rush you, doesn’t try to force you to go further than what you think you’re capable of, than what you think you’re allowed to go. He ignores the hard on he gets every time you two make out, the way your hips sometimes move on their own, grinding against him with no thought to strip out of your clothes and let him finish. You’ve been together since the first year of high school, and now you’re in college, and he’s playing professional soccer, and he loves you, and he still hasn’t even seen your pussy. Honestly, his closest friends tell him he must be a saint.
But the talks in the locker room, the snide comments from his least favorite teammates, the jokes and the teasing and the mocking, condescending tones — gotta protect Yukki’s ears, can’t let him Mr. Private School hear this, as if he’d even know what we’re talking about; damn virgin — all of it is chipping away at his pacifist, mild-mannered demeanor, revealing the feral, greedy egoist that lies underneath.
You had been so excited to hear your beloved boyfriend was flying down to your college town this weekend, just to see you! Your roommate’s out on a holiday with her parents, leaving the dorm room all to yourselves. In your cute mind, this just means more room for the two of you to hang out.
For Yukimiya, it means he has no more obstacles to get in the way of him fucking you for the first time.
“And you know what two people who love each other do, right?” He’s still using the same pacifying, soothing tone he always uses when he’s trying to calm you down. When you skinned your knees and cried from the sting of the alcohol wipes used to clean the cuts, he had used this voice on you. When you cried at the airport because he was leaving the country to meet the team who paid an exorbitant amount to have him on their starting lineup, he had used this voice on you. Right now, you can’t understand why he’s using this voice on you. You’re not hurt; just confused.
“Kenyu, wh-what are you talking about?”
“I’m talking about making love, [Name].” One large palm is rubbing up and down the smooth skin of your thigh. The movement causes the thin fabric of your sundress to rise up. Yukimiya’s never touched you down there before. You don’t know why his touch feels so good, but you do understand what he’s talking about now.
“But Kenny—” Your voice is reduced to nothing more than a nervous whisper, almost as if you’re scared someone is listening in. “—we can’t. That’s for married couples.”
Well, if it’s any consolation, Yukimiya’s always planned on marrying you.
He kisses your forehead, his hand never relenting from its position on your thigh. Your dress remains lifted up at an angle on one side. He can see part of your cotton panties; plain and white. If he moves his fingers up a few more centimeters, he could tug at the waistband of them.
“I know, sweetheart. But I’ve been thinking…” His hand travels from up your thigh to rest on your hip. The one side of your dress is now all the way up, and his thumb rests on the thin waistband of your panties, rubbing reassuring circles to get you to remain calm underneath him. “We’ll get married soon, anyway, right? I love you so much that I need an outlet to show you just how much I love you.”
“Married? Soon?” Your eyes widen. You find yourself daydreaming about marrying Yukimiya, starting a family. Yukimiya’s smile stretches wide across his handsome face. His sweet girl, he knew you’d be putty in his hands after he mentioned that.
“Of course.” He kisses you on your lips sweetly, his hand never leaving your hip. “And I want to give you all the love a husband has for his wife. Won’t you let me, [Name]?”
Kenyu’s always been handsome. You have a collection of all his professional photoshoots, and you know that he has a bunch of fangirls from just his looks alone. It’s so unfair of him, really, to give you that imploring look of his. You can’t say no to Yukimiya, and you think you never want to.
And so you do let him.
Kenyu’s quick. With the speed he normally reserves for on the field, Kenyu’s mouth meets your at the same time his other hand grips your neglected hip. Now both of his hands are bunching up the fabric of your dress, pulling the skirt up to reveal your simple, plain panties.
“Mmph.” You moan into the kiss. This is a bit different than what you two normally engage in; somehow, everything feels a lot heavier, headier. You can’t seem to think straight. All you can focus on is chasing after his lips, matching his hungry pace.
The heat radiating off the two of you is enough for Kenyu to separate from you momentarily. The lens of his glasses are fogged up, and he grins at you, satisfied at the progress you’re making, before taking his glasses off and setting them neatly on your nightstand.
And then he’s back to kissing you passionately again. You’re lost in the pleasure of his kisses, unknowingly bucking your hips up, not knowing why your body is craving friction, for some attention, down there. Your hands reach up to grip the front of Kenyu’s shirt, tugging at him, trying to bring him closer. You’re getting desperate, and he finds it so cute.
“Lift your arms up for me, sweetheart.” He mumbles against your lips, and your head’s too hazy for you to properly register his request. He repeats it, still as gentle as ever with you, and this time, you manage to comply.
“Fuck.” You don’t hear Kenyu curse often; he says it’s impolite to do so in front of his girl. He breathes out the word, and you feel shy all of a sudden as his eyes roam over your body. He tossed your dress to the side unceremoniously, and because the dress itself had padding, you decided not to wear a bra. You’re laying on your bed, nothing to protect your modesty besides your cotton panties.
“You’re the most beautiful girl in the world. The only girl I see.” He praises you, and you don’t feel too shy anymore.
“K-Kenyu—” You look up at him, all doe-eyed and sweet. You’re pressing your thighs together, drawing his attention to the plush of your thighs, the way hiding in between your legs is your special place that only Kenyu will be allowed to see, to touch, to taste, to love. “What do we do now?”
He leans down, whispering in your ear in his familiar, kind voice, “Now, you lay down, and let me show you how much I love you.”
You love Kenyu so much, you think it should be impossible for your heart to have so much room for him. You know Kenyu must feel the same way, but never before has his love for you ever felt so overwhelming. Kenyu pries your thighs apart, forcing you to open your legs for him, but you didn’t know showering you in his love meant that he was going to take his fingers and rub against the mound in your underwear.
“W-wait, Kenny!” You yelp, trying to shut your legs, but he’s too big, too strong. He blocks the movement, keeps you nice and spread for him. “I—” You don’t know what to tell him, and you don’t know how to explain why there’s a tiny puddle gathering in the thin fabric of your panties. Sometimes, you feel funny and this starts to happen, usually after a long makeout session with your boyfriend.
“You’re so wet for me, [Name].” He almost sounds in awe, staring down at your covered pussy almost as if in a trance. The pace he’s using is rather slow; he’s content, for now, with just stroking his fingers up and down your covered slit, fascinated with the way he can watch you slowly drench through the cotton. The wet spot only continues to grow; he bets he can get his fingers damp with your arousal soon, and he wouldn’t even have to take your panties off to do so. “Do you always get this wet for me?”
You want to cry, and you can even feel the tears welling up in your eyes. He looks up, instantly stopping his ministrations, his concern written all over his expression. “Hey, hey.” He shushes you, peppering kisses all over your face. He’s not stroking you anymore, but his large hand is cupping your pussy, the heat of his hand encasing your special place. You’re practically throbbing against him, your cunt aching and hungry for his touch. He just has to get you to open up for him, to understand. “There’s nothing wrong with that. You’re supposed to get wet right here for me, you know that?”
You sniffle, unsure if he’s just placating you. “Really?”
“Really.” His smile is so gentle, his tone so soothing and reassuring. He’s back to grazing his knuckles across your cunt, enjoying the way the fabric keeps on getting damper. “It means your body is happy, and it lets me know that you love me as much as I love you.”
His other starts to tug at your waistband, dragging down your panties until he’s pulling them right off. His breath catches in his throat as he looks down and stares at your pussy for the first time. Your folds are glistening, your little clit peeking out at him, begging for him to suck on, to rub against.
“Cute.” He tells you, tracing a finger curiously against your slit, the tip of his index finger so close to entering your clenching, unbreached hole. “I’m going to make you feel really good now, okay, [Name]? Tell me, have you ever played with yourself down here?”
“Wha-?” You’re confused, appropriately so. The boys and girls were separated during sex education, but you remember your teacher drilling it into your heads that under no circumstances should a young girl ever touch herself. You had been confused at the time, confused as to why anyone would ever. You’ve been taught that only your husband should ever touch you right there. But Yukimiya loves you, and he’s going to be your husband, and now you’re starting to think you know why girls may want to touch themselves. You’ve felt this heat in between your thighs before, this mysterious hunger for something, but now you’re feeling it tenfold. You shake your head, too choked up to speak.
“No? Not even like this?” You don’t expect Kenyu to insert his finger. The intrusion is foreign, but not entirely unwelcome. Your walls instinctively clench around his digit, and he has to remind himself to breathe, to remain collected, to take things slow so you can enjoy yourself properly. “You’re clamping down on just one finger.” He breathes out, curling his finger, moving it against your walls. He brushes against a spongy spot inside of you, one that has you jerking up, a shocked, pleasured moan escaping from your parted lips. “That feel good?” He asks, before adding a second finger, both of them bumping against that same sweet spot.
Your legs feel like jelly, and you nod weakly. It does feel good. Too good. So overwhelmingly good that a foreign, euphoric sensation is taking over you. You can’t seem to control your body, and you can’t stop the flow of cute, pleasured mewls flowing from your mouth, and you manage to scream out a warning to Yuki. “S-something is—”
A clear stream of liquid spurts out of you, splashes onto him, soaks your cute comforter.
“Fuck, you’re amazing.” Your walls are too sensitive now, but throughout the whole process, Yukimiya never stops thrusting his fingers in and out of your inexperienced cunt. His eyes are wide, but the gleam in them is sharp, hungry, calculating. “I didn’t even get a chance to mess with your cute little clit. You came just from penetration?” He finally removes his fingers, examining the way your juices are dripping off his digits. “You didn’t just cum, you squirted.”
You turn your head, trying to bury your face in a pillow so he can’t see the embarrassed and debauched expression on your face, but he takes his dry hand and forces you to continue looking up at him.
“That’s a good thing, sweetheart.” He coos, sucking at his fingers obscenely before releasing them from his mouth with a pop!. “It means you’re perfect and all ready for me.”
Kenyu knows that his cock is the first cock you’ve ever seen, and he’ll make damn certain that it’s the only one you’ll be seeing for the rest of your life. There’s no frame of reference for you to use, but you don’t think that men should be so big. When he frees his dick, making a show of squeezing tightly at the base and pumping it, showing off to you, you swallow hard.
He taps the head of his cock against your swollen, needy clit, teasing the both of you. He’s losing all sense of restraint, and even rubbing the underside of his cock against your glistening folds, trying to slick up his cock so it’ll be easier to glide into your soaked cunt, is enough to make him want to cum.
“I’m going to fuck you now, sweetheart.” His voice sounds strained, the gentle tone hanging on by a thread. “We’ll be making love for the first time. Aren’t you excited?”
You nod. Excited and nervous. His cock much larger than his fingers, and maybe he should have prepped you more, but you came so easily. He always knew you were perfect for him. Pleasure is so unknown to you, the tiniest taste of it is enough to take you out. Perfect, perfect, perfect.
He holds your hand and kisses you to distract you from the sting of his cock breaching your virgin cunt. You gasp into the kiss, pain registering in your mind first, but Yukimiya is quick to take your breath away, to swallow up any potential protests that might have come. He keeps on kissing you, his fingers intertwined with your own, and he’s pushing himself as deep as he can go. He only lets up from the kiss the second he’s buried to the hilt, and you greedily swallow up the oxygen you’ve been deprived of.
The feeling of a hard cock inside of you is foreign, but your body clings to his length. Unlike his fingers, with its dexterous ministrations that had you keening and squirting when he brushed them against a special spot, his cock fills you up, stuffs you full. Your cunt is greedily sucking him in, and when he whispers that he’s going to really start moving now, it’s not just one spot that he’s hitting.
You’re not sure what’s happening to your body, but it feels like Yukimiya is wringing out pleasure from you from every angle inside of you.
“Ah, fuck, you feel so good for me, sweetheart. Such a tight pussy, so wet, so warm.” The heat encasing his cock is nothing like he’s ever experienced before. The wet warmth of your pussy is so inviting, so intensely pleasurable, that Kenyu doesn’t think he’ll be able to last. Cumming so soon might be embarrassing, but it’s not. Not when it’s his sweet girl’s pussy that’s begging for his cum.
You wail out his name, your legs reflexively encircling around his waist, locking him in, keeping him close to you as you cum again. This orgasm is practically ripped out from you, your cunt way too sensitive, the repeated battering of his cock drilling into your hole too much for your inexperienced mind and body to handle.
“Kenyu, Kenyu, Kenyu!” When you say his name like that, it makes it hard for him to not immediately bust a load inside of you. Gone is the gentle expression from your boyfriend’s face; in its place is something feral, dark.
When he pulls out, he sees your white cream coating his cock. When he thrusts back in, he hears the lewd squelch of your wet, overstuffed pussy. It’s enough to drive a man insane with lust.
“Hey, sweetheart.” He grunts out, and your head struggles to remain straight, to not loll to the side and let yourself be used. You look up at him, but your eyes are glassy and your mind seems to be in a far away place, so far gone, so fucked out. “We’re going to get married soon. So it’s okay if I get you pregnant right now, right?” His bare cock fucking your virgin pussy raw. He’s going crazy. “I’m gonna fill you up, get you all nice and bred for me. Make you my wife, make you a mommy.”
The domestic daydream makes you tighten up around him, even though your body is too weak to cum again. That’s alright. He’ll just have to cum enough for the both of you.
“Hang onto me, sweetheart.” And you do. Your legs are still wrapped around him, but you weakly raise your arms, holding him close to you. He starts pounding at your pussy, his unrivaled speed and strength turning you into mush. You have to dig your nails into the muscled skin of his back, feeling like you’re on the edge of a cliff, about to crash.
“Fuck, I’m about to put a baby in you, love. My sweet girl, my sweet wife.” He kisses you, messy and sloppy, and he stills. The aggressive thrusts stop, and you realize why.
There’s a new heat entering inside of you; hot spurts of his cum are pouring into you, and he only moves his hips a bit to plug you up further, to make sure none of his seed can trickle out of you.
You’re about to lose consciousness, your brain fried from pleasure and exhaustion. All you do is weakly mumble out his name before the world goes black.
You think if this is what making love is, you love love.
Tumblr media
“Holy shit, Yukki.” Isagi gapes at his shirtless teammate.
Yukimiya glances up, about to pull his jersey over his head. “What?”
“What the hell happened to you?”
“Hm?” He asks, before turning to try to examine his back. Across the pale muscles are thin, red scratches, fading slightly from the time it’s been etched onto his skin by your nails. He smiles serenely, his mild-mannered attitude ever present. “Oh, this? My fiancee likes me close to her at all times.”

OH MY GOD THANK YOU FOR THE SUPPORT ON THE FIRST PART. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT. I tried to take any advice given to me. Thank you!!!
“I am not working with you again. I don’t care that there is another version of me out there causing issues.” Mark gestures wildly before rubbing his temples.
“You have all the superheroes you could ever need on call. You could defeat half of them without me. You don’t need me right now. I have to be there for Eve. If this other version of me is really that big of an issue, then just send every other superhero you have.” Mark walks past Cecil, leaving him alone in Eve’s room.
“Mark, please try to be reasonable.” Cecil follows him soon after.
Mark scoffs, “If I see him, I will take action.” He stops in his tracks. “This does not mean I’m working for you. I will take action if people are getting hurt. Do not expect me to be at your beck and call.” He turns, glaring at Cecil.
Cecil sighs, “If that’s the most you’ll do…”
“It is.” Mark cuts in sharply. “In case you have forgotten, I refuse to work with you. Now, I have other things to attend to.”
“At least let us know if you see him out in public, please, Mark. If not for me, then for the betterment of humanity.” Cecil tries.
“Oh yes, I’ll just shoot you a text! ‘Hey, Cecil, I know we hate each other, but there’s another version of me destroying the world right now.” Mark exclaims sarcastically, holding his hands up as if questioning whether Cecil is serious. Cecil looks at him unimpressed.
“I don’t hate you, kid.” Cecil responds.
“Yeah, okay, but why even ask? I’m sure you’ll know if there’s an attack or something before I do. I wouldn’t even be surprised if you spy on me even when I’m not out saving people.” Mark looks at Cecil suspiciously.
Cecil sighs; he looks like he’s given up. “Just keep an eye out, kid. Please.”
“I will let you know if another version of me decides to attack me. Otherwise, call somebody else.” Mark reiterates, beginning to walk past Cecil.
“Wait,” Mark stops in his tracks. “You know we’re always here to talk, right?” Cecil looks at Mark, who returns a conflicted look.
“I don’t really want to talk to you,” He shakes his head, continuing his path, “but thanks.” Mark continues as he exits the Pentagon.
--------------------------
“Dude, where'd you get this coffee?” You ask, examining the foreign packing of the coffee beans Mark returned with. You take a sip from his cup, and he gives you a weird look.
“Brazil.” He answers.
You roll your eyes. “Very funny. No, seriously, you have to tell me. I gotta know your sources.”
He looks at you, “Can’t expose all my secrets.” He looks at you, amused.
“Okay fineeee, but you gotta promise to get me some more if we run out.” You relent, finishing his coffee.
“...That was my cup.” He sounds a little despondent.
“Sorry, we can make another batch.”  You smile guiltily. He sighs, but goes to make more. You check the bag of groceries he brought. “Woah, this all looks authentic.” You examine the dry pasta that he bought.
“Did you travel to Italy too?” You joke, smiling at him.
“Yes.” He responds seriously. You laugh in response and stand up to wash the cup you stole from Mark.
“Oooh, next time you go, you should bring back pizza or something!” You grin at him, finding it funny how he seems so solemn with his responses.
“Hm, perhaps.” He says as he grabs two mugs.
“Oh, you don’t have to get a mug for me.” You say as he looks up at you, unimpressed.
“Really? So you won’t drink from my cup if I only make one for myself?” Mark narrows his eyes suspiciously.
You shake your head, “No, I won’t, Scout’s honor.” You place a hand on your chest.
Mark sighs before putting away the second mug. He pours himself a cup and takes a sip. He looks at you, then at his cup. “We should put away the groceries.”
You nod, “Of course.” You go to help him put the groceries away.
Mark stops in his tracks, “Are you serious?”
You look at him, then back at the cup you stole again. “Sorry, I wasn’t going to, but you commented on it, so I had to.” You take a slow sip, making it as loud as possible.
“You said ‘Scout’s honor.’ Do you have no honor?” He shakes his head in disappointment.
You snap your fingers, “That’s the thing! I was never a scout.” You put the cup down. “Don’t worry, I didn’t finish it this time.” You gesture vaguely to the cup.
He walks up to you, frowning. He looks at the cup, “You contaminated it.”
You laugh in surprise, “Oh, come on, you’ve drunk from my cups before. Think of this as payment for providing you with temporary housing.”
Mark furrows his eyebrows, “I have?” He hesitantly picks up the cup before drinking from it.
“Uh yeah? Wait, I think? Great, now you got me questioning it.” You sigh, heading over to the couch to turn on the TV. “Let’s see what’s on…”
The camera focuses on a massive floating figure. He seems to be towering over Invincible. They appear to be engaging in some sort of fight. The headline proves that your guess is correct.
“Hey, that looks like what the Chicago Destroyer Invincibile was wearing.” You comment offhandedly. Mark, on the other hand, coughs violently before walking over to watch with you.
“‘Chicago Destroyer Invincible?’” Mark quotes you incredulously.
“What? He destroyed Chicago, it’s either that or that one Invincible wearing white. That doesn’t really roll off the tongue— ooh, that was a nice punch.”
Mark still seems hung up on the “Chicago Destroyer” part. “From planet conqueror to Chicago Destroyer.” He scoffs, muttering the words low enough that you don’t hear.
“It looks like Invincible’s getting his ass handed to him though… Ouch, that looks like that’d hurt.” You comment, watching as the unknown attacker slams Invincible into the ground.
“Yeah…” Mark doesn’t sound very upset, “He’ll probably die here. That guy looks powerful.” You glare at Mark.
“You’re supposed to root for the good guy, Mark. Invincible is on our side.” You shake your head disapprovingly, placing a hand on your chest, feeling offended for Invincible.
He holds his hands up in surrender, “I’m just saying. I mean, look at him. Didn’t you also just say he’s getting his ‘ass handed to him?’” You both look at Invincible getting slammed on the ground and punched into the sky. You grimace as the fight goes out of frame… anddd probably out of that city.
“Okay, fine, but have some faith. Invincible is the one defending us. I mean, what’s gonna happen if this guy wins? Take over the Earth?”

“Yeah, probably,” Mark responds unfazed.
You chuckle at his deadpan response. “Damn, if we were conquered, what would happen to us? I can’t imagine we’re useful to people who can fly and have super strength like that. Maybe we'd be like slaves? I’d be such an awful slave.” Marks looks at you like you’re crazy.
”You wouldn’t be a slave.” Mark responds.
“Aww, thanks, I don’t think you’d be a slave either.” You respond affectionately.
“What? No, of course I wouldn’t— That’s not the point.” Mark shakes his head, looking back toward the TV.
You laugh at his response, placing your hand onto him, “Didn’t realize you feel so strongly about your ability to not be enslaved.” He stares at your hand, but he doesn’t flinch. He moves slightly away from your touch.
“Very funny.” He replies unamused. “He could, though. Enslave humanity.”
“Invincible? Nah, doubt it.” You play dumb, also knowing fully well that if he wanted, he probably could. Mark gives you a disappointed stare. “Fine, fine. If he truly wanted to, he could. I felt like that was pretty obvious. Not sure why you’re so serious about this.” You mumble.
“You could die out there,” Mark states, wow, okay. Somebody is feeling optimistic.
“Of course, I could die out there, Mark. Unless you’re secretly Invincible, then there’s nothing we can do if somebody like that invaded us.” You gesture to the TV, feeling yourself get frustrated by his negative outlook.
“Last I checked, Invincible is getting beaten up out there, so like it or not, we can’t change anything.” He gives you a conflicted look. “I’m going to go do some work. I’ll be at my desk.” You stand up, he looks like he wants to say something, but he doesn’t.
--------------------------
“Conquest was defeated.” Mark later walks into your room.
“Who?” You ask, still a little on edge. Normally, you wouldn’t care about Mark's comments here and there, but Mark had been making comments like this ever since he started staying with you. It was just so unlike him.
He pauses for a moment, and you turn your chair to him. “That guy who was beating up Invincible. He’s apparently called ‘Conquest,’” Mark elaborates. You nod in understanding.
You look over, and Mark is standing over at the door like a lost puppy. A tall and serious lost puppy. The image is so jarring you almost burst out laughing. You sigh, “I’m sorry.”
He blinks, “You apologize a lot.”
You remain silent, “Sorry..?” He looks vaguely amused.
You decide to change the subject, “I tried texting Eve. She is okay. William is fine, too.” Mark hums.
“Did you tell them I was here?” Mark asks. He makes his tone seem casual, but there is something hidden underneath the surface.
“Uhh, not yet, I literally just heard back from her… I’ll text them right now—“ You jolt as he grabs your hand, halting your movement. “Mark, what—“
“Don’t tell her anything. For a matter of fact, don’t tell William either.” He replies with a sense of urgency in his tone.
You frown, “Did you guys all argue or something? Even if they’re mad at you, I still think they’d want to know you’re safe.” You remove your hand from his grip, barely registering the loss of warmth in your confusion.
“Look… just please don’t tell them. They have enough on their plates as it is. They don’t need to find out my house is destroyed.” Mark tries, looking at you with eyes reflecting some emotion.
“Do you trust me?” He asks.
“Of course…” You reply softly. “Mark, you have to talk to them eventually.”
He nods, “I will, but not today. Just… trust me on this.” He looks down at your hand. He looks up, “Don’t tell them.”
You look at his eyes, pleading. This is probably the most genuine emotion he’s shown (other than joy at destroying you in that game of Uno, but you don’t count that).
You sigh, “Fine…” The conflict in his eyes is suddenly gone; it’s back to that blank look. You both sit in silence, before he eventually stands up. You frown, “Where are you going?” You ask, watching as he heads towards the front door to leave.
“Out.” He turns to leave before pausing. “Do you… need anything while I’m gone?” He seems unsure whether he should ask the question.
You smile, “Oh yeah, just that Italian pizza I was asking for earlier. With your skills in finding hidden gems, I can’t imagine it’s too difficult.” You joke, leaning against your room’s doorway. He gives you a deadpan look before nodding and closing the door behind him.
You frown, “He could’ve at least said yes or no.” You close the door to your room behind you. You go back to work for the next few hours.
Eventually, you take a peek out of your room. Huh, still not here. Whatever he decided to do must be taking up quite a bit of time.
You are scrolling on your computer when you see a headline. It reads “NEW CAMERA SHY SUPER VILLAIN FIGHTS WITH GUARDIANS, ALL GUARDIANS SEVERELY INJURED.”
Normally, you wouldn’t spare a second glance, but it’s unusual that all the guardians get attacked. You open the article. The giant photo showing this new “super villain” is blurry. There are no defining features. All you can see is that they are wearing dark colors and are floating over the injured Guardians.
“New super villain is pictured decimating the Guardians. There seems to be no previous record of this figure. It appears as if he was after the Guardians specifically. Nobody knows names, but everybody is asking questions. Why did they do this?”
“Early witnesses describe seeing the fight originally between this mysterious individual and Atom Eve. It must have been a planned attack, as Atom Eve was recently out due to presumed injuries acquired during the Invincible War.”
“Whoever this is seems to have a vendetta against her. As of now, all the Guardians are safe and receiving medical attention. Perhaps the most odd thing about this is that this figure fled the fight. Why? We have no idea. However, we’re grateful nonetheless. Eyewitnesses seemed to see the figure flee soon after they started filming the fight up close. Perhaps the new villain is camera shy?” You snort reading that last line.
You look at the photos provided by various witnesses. All show the initial battle between the person fighting Atom Eve. All you can see is their back, you vaguely register that they look to be masculine, but it’s difficult to tell with the low quality and distance. Eventually, when they turn to face the camera’s direction, it just turns into a blur.
After scrolling through the photos, you read the rest of the article. The second half seems to detail the damage done to the Guardians. It’s crazy how much is occurring right now. First, those Invincibles, then Conquest, and now the Guardians?
“That’s wild…” You mutter, scrolling up and down through the article.
“What’s wild?” A voice says.
“OH MY GOSH! MARK?!” You press yourself to the back of your chair, jumping in surprise. “When’d you get back?! I didn’t even hear you open the front door?”
He doesn’t respond, instead, your eyes are drawn to the pizza box he holds up.
“Oh, you actually got pizza.” You smile, standing up and walking out to the kitchen. He trails behind you and places the box down.
“You doubted me?” He asks as you grab plates for you two.
“Nah.” You grab a slice. “Anyway, where’d you go?” You ask casually, sitting down.
“Out.” He responds, grabbing the plate and getting a slice.
“Ooh, how descriptive.” You chuckle, taking a bite of the pizza.
“How were you while I was gone?” He asks, changing the subject.
“Eh, bored. I was doing some work, but then I got caught up reading an article. Apparently, some guy went out and attacked the Guardians.” His head slowly turns toward you as you speak.
“Somebody attacked the guardians.” He said, looking at you, nodding in affirmation. “Did you see who it was?” He asks casually.
You shake your head, “No. People are saying he’s camera shy. Nobody could get a clean shot without him fleeing the scene.” You chuckle at the thought. Imagine being so powerful that you could take on the Guardians alone, but flee at the first sign of a phone.
“Camera shy.” He repeats, looking at you, and he looks slightly disturbed.
“Yep, at least that’s what the article said. Wouldn’t show his face anywhere. Must be new. Probably doesn’t want people to be able to trace his identity. Hey, it’s kinda funny how he popped up after Invincibile went MIA.”
“I doubt he’d want to fight Invincible. Probably creates too many issues.” He looks at the pizza slice, studying it.
“Where’d you get this pizza anyway? I think this is the best pizza I’ve ever had.” You continue, you turn your gaze to the blank pizza box. Not even a company name on there. You snap your attention back to him, “Don’t tell me you’re gonna keep it a secret too.”
He eats in silence, not making eye contact with you.
“Markkkk!” You groan. “Come on, it can't be that important to keep it a secret.” You frown, looking at him. He continues to eat in silence, ignoring your presence entirely. “We’re friends, right? Come on.”
He finally looks up, “Oh, friends? Hm, didn’t realize.” He says offhandedly. “Are you going to want more?” He asks, looking at the box.
“Changing the subject, I see.” You observe. “We can save it for later.” You finish up your slice.
“Don’t tell me you were actually getting pizza for two hours?” You ask as you start to clean the dishes.
His lips turn up to resemble a smile, “I wasn’t.”
--------------------------
“Are you sure it was him?” Cecil asks, standing across Eve’s hospital bed.
She narrows her eyes before standing up, “Yes, I’m sure. I think I’d recognize Mark when I see him.” She starts to walk to the door.
“Anything notable about him?” Cecil asks, following her to the doorway, she pauses.
“Aside from the fact that he single-handedly beat us in combat?” She asks, turning to face him.
“You barely had any time to recover after Conquest, and you were unprepared.” Cecil justifies, shaking his head.
“We didn’t get the chance to tell you that it wasn’t Mark out there. Don’t beat yourself up.” He places a hand on her shoulder.
Eve looks down, frowning, “He fought much differently than I had expected from Mark, even an alternate version.”
Cecil nods as if expecting that, “He fought like a Viltrumite, right?” She nods. “That’s expected.” He walks past her, gesturing to her to follow.
“Based on the information we gathered, the version that was left behind joined the Viltrum Empire. We highly suspect he was even raised on Viltrum.” Eve follows behind as he explains.
“While I hate to say it, he’s probably going to share more similarities with Nolan than he will with our Mark.” He pauses to look at Eve.
She looks down, conflicted, “But.. isn’t he a version of Mark? Can we maybe appeal to him in some way? I mean, they are the same person in a literal sense. Deep down, maybe he can be reasoned with.”
“I doubt it,” Cecil responds, and Eve looks up at him.
“Have you even tried?” She asks, slightly frustrated.
Cecil shakes his head, “No, and if you know what’s good for everyone, you won’t. He’s a Viltrumite. Our Mark is a different case, and if we’ve learned anything from Viltrumites from Viltrum…” He pauses before turning towards her.
“They see us as lower beings, pets. They cannot be appealed to. Our Mark is the special case. Don’t think that because they’re the same person, they have the same principles.”
She goes silent, “So, what do you want me to do if I encounter him?” She asks softly.
Cecil looks at her, determined, “Don’t hold back.”
--------------------------
You wake up the next morning feeling a tingle in your throat. No…
You are not getting sick. You refuse to. Maybe if you drink water..?
You take a sip, hoping the tingle will go away. It doesn’t. You try clearing your throat to see if it will go away. Damn.
Mark walks into your room, “Are you dying?” He asks, unconcerned.
“Maybe,” He suddenly looks up alarmed, “I think I’m getting sick.” You both look at each other.
He takes a step back, creating distance between you two. “Oh, come on. Seriously? You’ve been here for days, and you’ve been fine.”
“I don’t want whatever foreign illness you may have acquired.” He grimaces.
“Oh, don’t be dramatic.” You roll your eyes.
“I’m not. I just don’t like viruses.” He states.
“You never even get sick! I rarely see you get sick, if ever!” You exclaim.
“Yeah, cause I keep my distance.” He replies.
“It’s just a sore throat, Mark. It’s not like I have the plague.” You groan. “I’m going to make some tea.”
He watches you walk past him to the kitchen, following behind you. “How did you even get sick?” He asks.
You shrug, “I don’t know. Stress perhaps? I haven’t been around anybody but you recently. Unless you were recovering from being sick when you came over.” You theorize out loud. Mark watches as you grab a tea bag and mug.
“I doubt that. Why would you be stressed?” He asks, sitting down on one of the kitchen stools.
“Not sure. There was that attack all those Invincibles did and that whole Conquest thing.” You guess.
“You weren’t even near those attacks, though.” Mark frowns.
“Yeah, but you were near one of them.” You attempt to clear your throat.
“So you’re stressing over me?” He asks, seemingly confused over the concept.
You misinterpret his confusion, “Mark, you don’t stress me out. Life,” You gesture outside, “does. The possibility of death is a little bit stressful.”
He looks at you, conflicted. You can’t imagine why. “So you’re sick cause you’re stressed about my, what, well-being?” He asks.
You sigh, “Don’t think too hard, Mark.” You can see the gears turning in his head. For some reason, he can’t seem to fathom you caring like that. “I was just guessing anyway.”
“So you don’t even know why you’re sick?” He reiterates, seeming incapable of not understanding how you don’t know the exact cause of your illness.
“That’s kinda what a ‘guess’ means, yeah.” You nod amused.
“Are the hospitals here that bad?” He asks. You can’t tell if he’s actually asking you or not. It seems like he’s talking to himself.
“What?” You chuckle, confused, “I don’t think a cold requires a hospital trip.” He looks at you, seemingly conflicted.
“Okay…” He doesn’t seem to accept the answer, “Do you need anything?” He asks.
You smile, “Probably just some rest.” You clear your throat. “Ugh, I sound awful.” You shudder.
Mark watches you for a moment before leaving the room suddenly. You frown, “Damn, bye I guess.” You mutter to yourself.
You drink your tea for about a minute before he returns. He has a blanket in his arms.
You watch as he walks behind you, placing it on your back like a cloak. His hand lingers on your shoulder.
You feel moved by his kindness, so you don’t mention that you feel like you're burning alive. You accept the blanket. “Thanks.” You smile.
He looks at you, eyes softening for a brief moment before looking away. You wonder if you imagined it, seeing as there’s been nothing but a serious expression on his face these days.
“We can share the bed if you’d like. You don’t have to sleep on the couch. I can’t imagine it’ll be helpful for your recovery.” He avoids eye contact.
You chuckle amused before coughing, “Weren’t you the one who didn’t even want to be near me?” You can feel your face heating up. Damn, maybe you have a fever. You do feel like you’re melting.
He eventually looks at you, all softness (imagined or not) gone from his expression. “The offer stands.” He responds.
“What is this, a business transaction?” You start laughing, but launch yourself into a coughing fit. “Maybe I’ll take you up on your offer.” You say, not thinking anything of it.
Mark nods stoically, not saying anything else on the subject.
“Mark,” you feel reluctant to bring the topic up, “are you doing… okay?” You think back to his distance from Eve and William.
He pauses, unsure where this is going. “Yes, why?” He responds, his tone betraying nothing.
“It’s just… I thought you and Eve had a” you gesture at him, “thing… going on.” You take a sip of your tea.
Mark stared at you, “You thought we were courting?” He asks, seemingly appalled by the idea.
“Yeah, I mean you’re with her all the time. Then suddenly you’re here and refuse to speak with her.” You tap on your mug. “It’s not any of my business, I know, but I just want to make sure you’re doing okay.” You look up at him. He looks at you silently.
“I don’t care about Eve.” He eventually breaks the silence.
You furrow your eyebrows in confusion, “Mark…” You sigh, “You don’t have to tell me what happened if you don’t want to.” You take another sip.
“Just…” you pause, looking up at him. His eyes are dead set on you, his expression cold. “Remember, she’s also your friend. William too. Don’t push them away over something trivial.”
Mark says your name, “Nothing is going on between us. Don’t misunderstand,” you see his expression shift as he says that last part, “I really have nothing going on with Eve.”
You smile softly, not really believing him. You’ve seen them together. They lean into each other like nobody else exists. They share smiles with each other that nobody seems to understand. They seem to exist purely in each other’s existence.
“Okay.” You sigh, not really believing him. “Just, at least try to contact them. They’d want to know you’re safe.”
Mark nods, avoiding eye contact, “Alright.”
--------------------------
After you finish your tea, you go to watch TV on the couch. Nothing interesting is on the screen. You cough again, and you can feel Mark watching you.
You let the TV drone on for a while before you feel yourself drifting off. Suddenly, you hear a knock at the door. Mark’s attention snaps to the door. You sigh, getting up.
You go to the door, covered in the blanket Mark gave you. ”Eve?” You look at her, surprised. “What’re you doing here?” You sniffle.
“I came here to see how you’re doing.” She smiles, amused. She looks at the blanket on your back. “Sick?”
You nod miserably, “Yeah. Woke up this morning not feeling too good. Do you wanna come…” Something catches your attention to your left.
You can see Mark wildly gesturing an “X,” mouthing something along the lines of “DON’T LET HER IN!” You furrow your eyebrows, but he looks at you expectantly.
“... back later? I’m really not feeling too well.” You force another cough. It sounds real since you are actually sick.
She frowns sympathetically, “Of course. Get some rest. Let me know if you need anything. I just wanted to make sure you were doing okay after everything that’s been going on. Haven’t really gotten a chance to check in.”
You nod, as you watch Mark shake his head disapprovingly to the side. “Of course. I’m glad to hear you’re okay. I trust William is fine, too?” You ask. She nods, smiling, “Yeah, both he and Mark are fine.” You nod before pausing.
“Wait, Mark contacted you?” You frown, confused. You see Mark move toward you, still out of view of Eve.
“Yeah..?” Eve frowns even more confused.
You look toward Mark, confused, and he gestures for you to close the door on Eve. “Oh, okay, well, thanks for checking in, Eve. I’m going to rest.” You gesture to your room. She nods.
“Of course, get better soon.” She smiles. You wave as she walks away before closing the door and turning to Mark.
“So…” You say slowly. Mark looks down, glaring at the floor as if it offended him. “You did contact her.”
You sigh, “Mark, I’m not mad or anything. I’m just concerned.” You frown. “Why did you lie about contacting her?” Mark looks up, seeing you looking at him, hurt.
“It’s nothing.” He brushes it off. You furrow your eyebrows. “Mark, if you’re here just to avoid Eve, then yes, it is something.”
”You think I’m here just to avoid her?” He asks incredulously.
You look away from him, “Let’s just drop the subject. I’m going to bed.” You start to go to your room to lie down. Mark watches you leave, and he looks hurt. You can’t imagine why.
As you enter your room, you close the door behind you. You are about to go to bed when you see Mark’s bag open. His stuff is scattered right next to it. You sigh, picking up some of his items and throwing them into the bag. You don’t want to step on it or trip over anything.
When you throw some of his stuff into the bag, you notice some bright piece of clothing stashed neatly in there. You were going to ignore it until you saw a bright red stain on it.
Your eyebrows furrow before you slowly move closer. You didn’t mean to snoop. It’s just that white is a very distinctive color, and a red stain like that doesn’t look normal. Perhaps you can offer to wash it for him?
Suddenly, he opens the door, medicine in hand, his eyes gravitate to you. He looks at his bag. “What are you doing?” He asks gravely.
“Your stuff was making a mess. I didn’t want to trip over it.” You say. He (not subtly) moves to cover your view of the bag, zipping it up.
“Get some rest.” He responds coldly. You feel yourself shrink under his cold demeanor. Is he mad at you because of the (unintentional) snooping, or because of the whole Eve situation? You don’t even know.
You do know one thing, however. Mark is hiding something. You don’t know how big, but it’s something he clearly does not want you to know.
Sure, it may not be any of your business, but you can’t help but feel like this is not something you should turn away from. You sit down on the bed, getting under the covers.
You look at the lone bag that Mark zipped up. He didn’t have to say anything, but the message was clear. “Don’t open this bag.” His eyes told you.
You flip over, facing the other direction. He has been acting so weird recently, distant. You kept telling yourself it was just shock from what happened, but does shock justify lies? You don’t know.
You look towards the medicine he left on the nightstand. You look at the extra blanket he grabbed for you. You snuggle closer to the blanket. Sure, he’s distant, but he’s still Mark. You turn again to the zipped-up bag.
Right?
Side note: I think this will probably be a 4-5 part series. While I will get that done, I also want to make other fics. I have this one idea for a no goggles mark fic that I'm in the middle of writing, so be on the lookout for that if you're interested. I'll probably post that one next. So yes, there will be a part 3. It just might be a bit of a longer wait than this one was though.

ohh of course dear !! been thinking abt it and this req inspired me even more info : obsessive behavior, mentions and acts of murder, stalking, he’s crazy in every universe. gn!reader a / n : this is a gift to you guys for 348 followers. i’m soo grateful n happy <33
SINISTER MARK
he thinks it’s a joke at first. you’ve no real reason to actually want to leave him, right? he’s utterly convinced that there was nothing wrong with the relationship. and to be fair, there wasn’t. other than the fact he was possessive as shit and always had tabs on you. would scare off your friends and constantly linger around you whenever he wasn’t terrorizing the masses. the second he realizes that you’re serious? he doesn’t take it very well. you won’t ever find someone better than him. he won’t let you. just what human could ever be better than him?
“You’re not very good at jokes,” Mark says—voice and expression both hauntingly blank. It sends chills down your spine for the simple fact he’s never had such an empty tone. The way he looks at you is something that you can’t exactly put into words. Maybe he’s disappointed. Maybe he’s annoyed, or expectant, or some other emotion that you cannot be bothered to decipher. Not when there’s blood staining your clothes and his, the floor, your cheeks and his hands. Whatever ‘friend’ you were hanging out with was dead before they’d hit the ground. It’s been twelve days since you had gathered the courage to tell Mark you wanted a break, and it took him this long to take you seriously. Thought, it hadn’t taken much effort for him to take a life. “I don’t know why you thought this was a good idea. . .” He hummed, tilting his head as he crouched down in front of you, watching you tremble like a deer in front of an incomprehensible creature. ”But let’s not do this again, hm?”

OMNI MARK
calm. at least, he seems calm. but he also doesn’t take you very seriously. acts as he usually does, even asks you when the next date night is. as if he’ll even be able to make it with his schedule and how often he cancels on you. looks at you as though you’ve said something ludicrous when you answer that there isn’t a date night—you’re not together anymore. surely, you don’t know what you’re talking about. if you wanted him to plan the next date, you could have just told him. he’s usually the one that does all the thinking, anyway, so it doesn’t really matter. honestly, what made you think you could walk away from him? the one human he cares for, and you’ve the nerve to try and separate from him? funny.
“We’re not dating, Mark.” The way the two of you stare at each other for a few tense moments is a little awkward, though he doesn’t seem to care. He holds eye contact with you before sighing—like you’re a child who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. Like you’ve garnered the nerve to tell some dry joke. “If you have a problem,” Mark starts, arms crossed against his chest as he ignores your exasperated expression, “we talk it out. Like a couple is supposed to do.” “But we’re not a couple anymore. That is what I’m telling you.” You’re attempting to be reasonable, you really are, but you swear up and down he’s making you feel like the crazy one. This has got to be the third time you’ve had this conversation with him, and it hasn’t even been a week. There isn’t any way you can get through to him and you just don’t understand why. Mark scoffs, again, ignoring you. “I’ll make sure I’m not busy. Crime’s been going down, so it should be fine. They’ll manage without me.” “Just kill me already.” You mutter to yourself, unable to decide whether or not you’ll be able to ever get your point across. . . . You’ll just try again tomorrow.

FULL MASK MARK
more pathetic than mainstream mark. this man is like a wet cat in the rain. tries to maintain distance, but ends up following you everyday, texts you without thinking about it while he attempts to reason that it’s okay. you just need some distance and time, and maybe you’ll both get better. ends up outside your window after a particularly bad fight with a villain he had. he didn’t do it on purpose, he just sort of ended up here. call it muscle memory if you will. all he knows is that he’s a mess without you—needs you like oxygen, can barely think or focus on anything without you. probably the only one that tries to be the best he can be for you outside of the main universe. and probably the only one you didn’t really want to break up with.
“ ‘m sorry.”
“Markus.”
“ ‘m sorry,” Mark sniffles, face tucked into your neck as he clings to you. You’d think of it as pathetic if it were anyone but him, honestly. He’d shown up with your favorite candy and drink, bloody and looking like a stray abandoned on the side of the street. You practically had to drag him through the window when he tried to turn back around. It took a bit of insisting and a med-kit to get him cleaned and patched up, despite him reminding you that he technically didn’t need it. You snapped at him to shut up before inevitably pulling him to your room again—letting him stay the night was an easy decision, almost too easy. As of right now, he was simply listening to the sound of your heartbeat, your soft breathing, enjoying the way your gentle fingers tangled in his hair. It was sweet. Familiar. Something Mark had missed so much it made his heart ache and hurt, to the point felt as though it was being ripped apart. Though, if it were done by your hands, he wouldn’t mind.

“Sa…” you can’t even find it in yourself to finish that sentence, to utter his complete name. As if afraid that when you do, it’ll be like summoning some sort of demon. Only this time, it’s the father of your child—same thing.
He looks as shocked as you, if not more so. His eyes widen and then narrow in a rhythmic movement that makes you scared, anticipating whatever utterance will fall from his pretty lips. If only you could go back in time and deny even the thought of going on this whatever with Mr. Ito. Maybe then you could’ve been spared, at least given some time to mentally prepare yourself for seeing the face of the man who has been practically haunting you for five years. Maybe then, he wouldn’t look so…different.
“Ms. Y/N?” Mr. Ito’s confused voice snaps you both simultaneously out of the small staring contest you were just in. When Satoru finally acknowledges the other man, you can see a small tick on his eyebrows. Mr. Ito—well he’s not dumb. Every feature of Satoru reminding him of a small, much younger someone who happens to be in his kindergarten class. “O-oh…is this…do you two…know each other?”
What do you even say to that? Yes? No? Maybe so? It’s all so fucking confusing and complicated, but Satoru seems to save you. “And who are you?” he asks, voice flat and calculating. His eyes dart between you and Mr. Ito, like he’s trying to silently gauge what’s going on between you two. His analytical skills always seem to put you off, so you look away.
Tumblr media
“Um…well, I’m Ms. Y/N’s son’s teacher. Nice to meet you.” Mr. Ito slowly explains, putting on a timid smile, outstretching his tan hand towards Satoru.
To no surprise, Satoru doesn’t reciprocate the welcome gesture. He is instead, clenching his fists by his side. You can see his jaw tick from your peripheral, as if he’s doing his damned hardest not to blow the hell up right now. “Are you now?”
Mr. Ito, caught in the middle of something he has no business in, glances around awkwardly. A weird chuckle leaving his mouth, lowering his hand back down to his side. “Um, yes, sir.”
“Funny,” Satoru laughs, though there’s no humor laced in it. He looks back down at you. “Very funny,” Satoru adds, his voice light, almost conversational. His sharp blue eyes flick from Mr. Ito to you, then back again, but there’s a glint in them you recognize all too well—calm, composed, and dangerous.
Mr. Ito doesn’t seem fazed, meeting Satoru’s gaze with polite confidence. “Yes, we were just discussing some things regarding her son,” he says, his tone smooth and professional. There’s a flicker of curiosity in his expression, though, as he glances between the two of you, clearly piecing things together.
“Were you now?” Satoru’s lips twitch into a faint smile, but it doesn’t reach his eyes. He then casually pulls out a chair from the table and sits, resting one arm on top of it as if he has all the time in the world. “And what kind of things are we talking about?”
With every second that passes, you feel yourself grow closer and closer to pissing your pants. You know exactly what he’s doing, it’s the calm before the storm. Satoru is great at saving face, but after knowing him so intimately, you know his true intentions and feelings. But still, you’re too frozen in place to stop it all before it gets out of hand.
“Well,” Mr. Ito replies, still composed but he spares a look at you before continuing. “Just a few concerns regarding his talkativeness.”  Mr. Ito keeps it vague, still a little on edge by this sudden change of events.
Satoru lets out a low hum, nodding slightly. “Oh, he talks a lot, does he?” he says, his tone almost too soft, too soothing. His eyes slide to you, lingering just long enough to make you squirm. “And that’s become a problem?”
Mr. Ito nods.
Satoru smiles, arms crossing and one leg crossing over the other. “Must be a little troublemaker, he seems to take after his mom.”
The subtle barb stings, but you force yourself to keep your expression neutral. Mr. Ito, seemingly oblivious, smiles warmly. “Hah, well, I’m not sure who he takes after.”
“Correct.” Satoru simply responds.
Mr. Ito pauses then continues. “But, She’s an excellent parent,” he says, glancing your way. “We’ve had a few chats during pick-up. It’s always nice to see someone so involved in their child’s education.”
Satoru’s smile tightens ever so slightly, the corners of his mouth twitching as he leans forward just a fraction. “It is nice, isn’t it?” he says smoothly, his voice calm but edged with something you can’t quite name. “I mean, a teacher like you must see all kinds of parents. You’ve really taken the time to notice Y/N, haven’t you?”
Mr. Ito hesitates for the first time, sensing the subtle shift in Satoru’s tone. “Well, I try to be passionate about connecting with all the parents of my students,” he replies, still polite but less certain now.
Satoru’s smile doesn’t falter. If anything, it widens slightly, though his eyes remain cold. “Of course,” he says, leaning back as if completely at ease. “You’re just doing your job. Going above and beyond, I see.”
You can feel the tension radiating off Satoru, even if he’s doing his best to appear calm. It’s in the way his fingers tap against the table in a measured rhythm, the way his gaze sharpens with every word.
“Satoru,” you interject quickly, trying to defuse the situation before it escalates. “Can we ta—”
“Oh, just a second,” he holds up a long finger, regarding you with such simplicity in a way that makes you feel inferior. Eyes not moving from Mr. Ito’s. “I mean, I should probably be involved in this conversation too, no? Considering I’m the—what do you call it?—Oh, right, father.”
You gulp hard. Mr. Ito once again shifts his position, hands awkwardly clasping together.
“Anywho,” Satoru switches back to the subject at hand. “Passion’s a good thing. As long as it’s directed where it belongs, of course.”
The remark hangs in the air, heavy with implication. Mr. Ito moves uncomfortably but keeps his polite demeanor, clearing his throat. “Well, I should probably get back home, I have some things to grade,” he says, glancing at his watch. “It was nice meeting you, Mr.…”
“Gojo,” Satoru finishes for him, his smile razor-sharp. “The pleasure’s all mine.”
Mr. Ito nods, grabbing his jacket he put on the back of his chair. “Goodbye, Ms. Y/N. I'll see you on Monday.” He still has the audacity to give you a warm smile before leaving the cafe, the bell dinging following his departure.
After a second or two, Satoru’s calm facade finally cracks, his jaw clenching as he exhales slowly through his nose. You brace yourself, knowing that the real conversation is about to begin. The way his eyes scan you up and down in an analytical way makes you feel naked. “And look at you,” he huffs, head tilting in a patronizing way. “Silent and jittery like a little mouse. If I didn’t have other things to say, I’d say you look quite pathetic.”
Blow number 1, there he goes already. Though, you can’t find it in you to rebuttal that. Scared to say anything, honestly. There’s a pause as Satoru picks apart every little thing about you inside his head. You might have felt better hearing it out loud instead of being stuck on the silent end of the stick. Eventually, you find your small amount of courage. “Satoru…”
“Oh, look. You do my name. Thought you would have forgotten it after all the sneaky shit you seem to have been doing these past few years.”
“Can we please talk?” You ask, voice laced with desperation.
“Hm?” His eyebrow raises. “We’re talking right now, right? Why don’t you sit down?”
Hell no. You bite your lip, hands trembling by your sides. “Please, somewhere private.”
“What makes you think you deserve anything right now?”
He’s right, really right. You probably deserve shit with the lies and deceitful nature you’ve been harboring these years. But, can’t he have at least a little bit of sympathy for you? He has no idea about the shit you’ve been going through all this time by yourself. And while yes, you do feel guilty, he should be still trying to address the situation in an adult-ish manner. “Satoru…please. We shouldn’t talk here, let’s just…go somewhere more quiet.”
Satoru mulls over your words, a part of him wanting to drag this out even longer and make you more uncomfortable. You deserve it. But, you’re also right. So, he takes in a deep breath, stands up, and motions his head towards the door in a silent command. Without wasting a second, you turn around and walk out of the cafe with him hot on your tail. Intending to lead him to the secluded park that you and Koji frequently visit because there’s not a lot of foot traffic. Although your ideal spot would be indoors, you can’t exactly lead him to your apartment right now—not that you want to, anyway.
It’s only a few minutes of walking, but the entire time feels horrible. He stares at the back of your head, eyes roaming down to your back, legs, and then ass. In that specific order. Satoru’s always saved the best for last, and while checking you out should be the last thing on his mind, staring at your ass will at least somewhat calm him down. You’re not stupid either, it’s like you can feel his eyes shamelessly darting about. However, that’s the least of your worries right now.
You see the familiar bench in the distance, taking a seat. He sits beside you, leaving a considerable distance between your bodies. There’s another silence, this one feeling more suffocating. It suddenly hits you that you’re about to do this—about to have this conversation with him, own up to all your bad deeds. You have to, no more hiding. You gulp down the lump in your throat before speaking, “I know this is all probably…really bad. I know you’re mad at me, you have every right to be.”
Satoru doesn’t respond right away, leaning back on the bench with an air of nonchalance that contrasts starkly with the storm brewing in his eyes. He tilts his head slightly, his gaze fixed on the horizon, as if giving you the floor—but the weight of his silence feels heavier than any words he could’ve said. “Mad?” he finally repeats, his voice low and deceptively calm. He turns to you, a bitter smile tugging at the corner of his lips. “Mad doesn’t even begin to cover it.”
You wince, his words cutting deeper than you expected. Your hands grip the edge of the bench, knuckles turning white as you scramble for the right thing to say, the perfect way to explain yourself—but nothing feels sufficient. Nothing ever will. “I know,” you whisper, forcing yourself to look at him even as shame threatens to make you shrink away. “I know I should’ve told you—about Koji, about everything. I was just… scared. I didn’t know how to handle it, and—”
“Don’t,” he interrupts, his tone sharp enough to slice through your excuses. His gaze pins you in place, icy and unrelenting. “Don’t you dare try to justify it. You made the choice to keep my son from me. For five years.”
The raw anger in his voice makes your chest tighten, guilt clawing at your insides. “I didn’t do it to hurt you,” you plead, voice trembling. “I swear, Satoru, I thought I was doing what was best—”
“For who?” he snaps, his calm facade slipping for a brief moment, revealing the frustration bubbling underneath. “For me? For Koji? Or just for you?”
You flinch at his words, tears pricking the corners of your eyes. “For Koji,” you choke out. “I wanted to protect him. There’s—there are reasons why I didn’t…..” your voice trails off, unable to get the remaining part of your excuse out. But it’s true. You had—have—your reasons. And while most people still might not consider it good enough or justifiable, you truly believed what you did was for good.
Satoru lets out a bitter laugh, running a hand through his hair as he looks away, shaking his head. “Reasons?” he mutters, almost to himself. “And what, you think keeping my son a secret all because of ‘reasons’ makes this situation any better? Are you that fucking stupid?”
“No, no, I…know it won’t make anything better,” you whisper, voice barely audible. “I know that. But back then, I just… I just thought that…he wasn’t ready for your world, like I’m not.” By world, you mean quite literally that. Satoru grew up spoiled, his inner elite circle is all he’s ever known. Responsibilities at such a young age, responsibilities no child should face. Expectations, public display, people constantly butting their heads in your business, you have absolutely zero privacy. Satoru would vent to you about that, and you knew—just knew—you couldn’t put your innocent baby boy through that. There’s a class divide between you and Satoru, the main reason as to why you two broke up in the first place.
His jaw tightens, and for a moment, you think he’s going to lash out again—but instead, he exhales sharply, leaning forward to rest his elbows on his knees. “You didn’t even give me a choice,” he says quietly, his voice laced with hurt. “You decided for both of us. For him.”
The weight of his words crushes you, the reality of your actions settling in your chest like a stone. “I’m sorry,” you whisper, tears finally spilling over. “I’m so, so sorry, Satoru. I just… I didn’t know how to face you.”
He doesn’t respond immediately, his head bowed as if he’s trying to gather his thoughts. When he finally looks up, his gaze is softer, but no less intense. “Do you have any idea what it’s like,” he murmurs, “to find out you have a son—your son—after all this time? To realize you’ve missed everything?”
Your heart breaks at the pain in his voice, and you reach out instinctively, your hand hovering over his before pulling back, unsure if he’ll accept your touch. “I know I can’t fix this,” you say, voice shaking. “But I want to try. I want to make things right. For you. For Koji.”
Satoru studies you for a long moment, his piercing gaze searching your face for something—truth, regret, maybe even hope. “Making things right?” he echoes softly. “You can’t make this right. Because you did something so fucked up, I think I’m starting to hate you.”
“I don’t expect you not to,” you say, sniffling as you wipe your eyes. Now’s the time to be transparent.
“Tell me,” he commands, looking at you with an unrecognizable face. “Tell me every single fucking reason why you thought what you did was okay. Then maybe—only maybe—I’ll decide how we should move forward from this.”
You nod, swallowing the lump in your throat. “I thought I was doing what was best for Koji,” you repeat softly, though the words feel hollow even to your ears. “Your world, Satoru—it’s suffocating. The spotlight, the responsibilities, the pressure... I didn’t want him to grow up with that. I didn’t want him to be molded by something he never asked for. I–I just wanted him to have a normal childhood growing up, something you weren’t able to have…”
He stares at you, unblinking, his expression unreadable but his jaw visibly tightening.
“And then... there was us,” you continue, your voice faltering slightly. “We had just broken up, and I—I didn’t think you’d want to settle down with a kid so soon after everything. I didn’t think you were…ready.”
His eyes narrow, sharp, and cold. “So you assumed I wasn’t ready, just like you assumed it would be better to keep him from me?”
“It wasn’t just that,” you say quickly, the tremor in your voice betraying your desperation. You let out a shaky exhale, willing yourself to continue, even though it’s getting harder to breathe. “After the miscarriage... I couldn’t handle the idea of telling you I was pregnant again. I was terrified, Satoru. Terrified of losing him too, and what that would do to both of us. I thought... if I kept it to myself, maybe I could protect him, protect us from that pain.” The words of your past are extremely hard to get out. You vowed to yourself to never even utter or think of the word miscarriage ever again, though that’s hard to do when you’re explaining yourself. It was hard, so fucking hard for you. No words or exercises can prepare you for the pain of having a child, just like nothing can prepare you for the pain of losing one. It happened two years into your relationship, and although it was completely unexpected and accidental, you felt something in your bones that told you to keep it.
Satoru tried, as hard as he could, though you’re not sure that means a lot. You could see the exhaustion and fatigue in his face, feeling guilter by the day for wanting to keep it. While he never explicitly voiced out getting rid of it, you knew he wouldn’t be upset if you did. That alone was the start of your relationship’s downfall. Maybe it was your own version of stress, anxiety, and whatever else you were going through back then, but you lost it. Your body wasn’t strong enough to house and grow a production of your love, which you hated yourself for. Maybe even a small part of you started hating Satoru, thinking about how happy he must have been behind his soothing words and even more soothing hugs. You thought how ecstatic he must be, lying straight to your face after crying with you. Of course, you never voiced these malicious feelings out either. The memories you’ve locked away for years now come crashing through your defenses, spilling out into the open where they can’t be ignored.
You remembered the nights spent curled up on the bathroom floor. The heavy blood clots, mixed with strong abdominal pain. Sobbing silently so Satoru wouldn’t hear you, your hands pressed to your stomach like you could keep your child safe just by willing it. But it hadn’t been enough. Nothing you did was enough.
The moment you’d lost your first child, a part of you had shattered beyond repair. The guilt was unbearable, the self-loathing even worse. A horrible thing for a twenty-one year old to experience; for any woman to experience. Every reassuring word from Satoru felt like a lie, no matter how sincerely he meant them. It’s almost like you could see the shadow of relief in his eyes when he thought you weren’t looking, the slight easing of tension in his shoulders that felt like a betrayal even though you couldn’t blame him for it.
It had eaten away at you, little by little, until the mere thought of being pregnant again felt like a cruel joke. You’d failed once—what if you failed again? When you saw the test, you didn’t cry out of happiness. You cried out of fear, choking on your sobs as the weight of the decision pressed down on you. Keeping Koji meant risking everything again—your heart, your sanity, your relationship with Satoru, already frayed and stretched thin. Could you go through that pain again? Could he?
You didn’t think you could, and that thought was what finally broke you. Because if you couldn’t handle it, how could you expect Satoru to? You’d already seen the exhaustion in his eyes, the way he’d tried so hard to comfort you when he was barely holding himself together. And the truth that you never said out loud, the truth you could barely admit to yourself, was that you didn’t believe he’d want to try again.
You were terrified he’d ask you to get rid of it this time. Or worse—he’d do what he did last time: try to be there, try to support you, while secretly wishing for a way out. You couldn’t handle the idea of hearing him say it. You couldn’t bear the thought of watching his love for you chip away under the strain of something neither of you was ready for.
So you decided. Alone. After the break-up. That is when you found out, after all; three weeks later.
You told yourself it was for Koji. That keeping him away from Satoru’s world—the world of power, expectations, and relentless spotlight—was what was best for him. You told yourself it was for Satoru, too, because he deserved to live his life without being shackled to a family he might not have wanted. But deep down, you knew it was also about you. About your own cowardice, your fear of rejection, your inability to face the possibility of losing everything again.
Sitting here now, with Satoru’s eyes burning into you, the weight of your decisions feels unbearable. The excuses you clung to for so long sound hollow, even to you. But they were your truths at the time, however twisted and fragile they might have been. “I thought I was protecting all of us,” you whisper, your voice cracking under the strain of holding back tears. The words hang in the air, raw and exposed, as you finally let yourself feel the full weight of the choices you made and the people they hurt.
Satoru feels his world pause when you mention the traumatic event you both went through. His stomach twisting in a disgusting feeling, a hint of bile rising in his throat. Memories, painful memories playing on repeat in his mind. He even feels the familiar tickle at his eyes, blinking rapidly to avoid any pour out.
Then, for a moment, his gaze softens, just a flicker of something raw and unguarded crossing his face—but it’s gone as quickly as it came. “So…by protecting, you decide to hide it, him, everything from me. You decided I didn’t deserve to know him,” he says bitterly. “That I didn’t deserve to be there for him—or for you. Did you just think that I wouldn’t be the man I was supposed to be towards my children? You didn’t give me a second chance, to—to prove to you we could’ve done this, together. You…You didn’t even give me a chance, Y/N.”
“It wasn’t just about you,” you snap, the frustration bubbling up despite your guilt. “I was scared, Satoru. Scared of rejection, of what your family would think, of how we’d even make it work with everything stacked against us. I didn’t have your money, your power, your family name. I was just... me. And I didn’t think that would ever be enough.”
His brows furrow, and you can see him processing your words, his fists clenching at his sides. “You think I care about any of that?” he asks, his voice low and dangerous. “You think I’d let a class divide or family politics get in the way of being there for my son?”
“I didn’t know what you’d do,” you admit, your voice cracking under the weight of your emotions. “You were so far out of reach, Satoru. And after we lost... after everything we went through, I didn’t think you’d want to try again. I thought it’d be easier for you—easier for both of us—if I just disappeared.”
“Easier?” he repeats, his voice rising slightly, his calm facade threatening to crumble. “Do you have any idea how much I’ve hated myself for the last five years? For losing you? For wondering what could’ve been?”
You blink at him, startled by the crack in his voice, the sheer vulnerability in his words.
“You didn’t,” you whisper. “It wasn’t you, Satoru. It was me. I was scared, and I made the wrong choice. I know that now. I know I can’t fix this, but I want to try. For Koji’s sake. For your sake.”
He leans back slightly, exhaling sharply as he runs a hand through his hair. The silence between you is deafening, the weight of everything you’ve said hanging heavily in the air. “Do you know what I’m feeling right now?” he says finally, his voice quieter but no less intense, “How it feels like to find out you have a son you’ve never even met, to know you missed his first steps, his first words, his entire life so far? And why? Because you took that from me.”
Tears spill down your cheeks, but you don’t wipe them away. “I know,” you whisper. “I know, and I’m sorry. I was selfish. I thought I was protecting him, but I was just protecting myself.”
Satoru looks at you for a long moment, his piercing gaze searching your face for something—truth, regret, maybe even hope. Finally, he exhales, his shoulders sagging slightly. “You’ve done a lot of damage, Y/N,” he says quietly. “And it’s going to take more than an apology to fix it.”
You nod, wiping your tears away. “I’m not asking for forgiveness, Satoru. I’m just asking for…a chance to make things right.” Your head lowers, vision blurry as you focus on your trembling hands in your lap.
He doesn’t respond immediately, his gaze shifting to the horizon. “This isn’t about you and me anymore,” he says after a long pause. “It’s about Koji. And I’m not going to let you shut me out of his life again.”
“I wouldn’t,” you say quickly, shaking your head. “I–I swear, Satoru. I’ll do whatever it takes to make this work. For him.”
Satoru lets out a slow breath, standing up and shoving his hands into his pockets. “Then let’s start now,” he says, his tone firm. “Take me to him.”
Your heart skips a beat at his words, the reality of the situation sinking in. This is only the beginning—and there’s no turning back. “H-he’s at home.”
“So take me there.”
You stand, fumbling with your words. “I…I can’t just have you two meet out of nowhere, I have to tell him in advance.”
His lips purse, and downturn into another frown, a look that lets you know he’s this close to stop being lenient with you. However, he concedes. “Tomorrow. Here.”
“Whe–”
“Ten in the morning, I’ll leave my meeting early.” he glances at the pristine, gold watch on his right wrist. “Give me your number, in case you try to run and lie again.”
A pang of hurt flies through you, though you can’t blame him for being cautious. Even if that cautiousness is riddled with snide remarks and insults. He gives you his phone, to which you go to contacts and place your new number in, marked by your name. Without another word, he pockets his phone. When he looks at you for one last time, it looks like it hurts, like he’s forcing himself to. After a second, he turns around and walks away, leaving you to your own devices.
Letting out a breath you didn’t even know you were holding, you sit back on the bench, head in your hands and lightly tugging at your strands of hair. Things still don’t feel right. You know you two still have a lot more to say to one another, unspoken words being your enemy. It’s far from over, actually.
But at least you two have come to a small conclusion, for now. However, you don’t know how tomorrow will go. You can only hope you don’t cry too much, and that Koji and him will get along well.
Still, you can’t help that lingering sense of anxiousness. Is it okay for you to feel this way? To be wary? Or are you stretching your already little luck?

The walk back home feels boneless and empty. Taking your time, going through small detours, and whatnot. You get back home after a few hours, it’s already twelve in the afternoon. Regarding Sana with a muttered greeting and haphazardly giving her her money. When she leaves, you’re left alone. Koji’s surprisingly down for a nap. Usually, you would question why he’s sleeping this early in the day, but you could honestly use the peace and quiet right now. You could use it every day, actually.
You sit on the small, worn-out couch. Letting your body sink into the thin material, head leaning back against the cushions. You’re in your mind again. It seems like every day is more exhausting than the last. As the saying goes, you learn something new every day. And today, one of the things that surprised you most was how Satoru said he’s been miserable in these past five years. He missed you? He hated himself for losing you? Then why didn’t he fight for you? Why’d he just stand there and take everything? If he really wanted you, he would’ve begged you to stay, he would’ve come up with some solution to your deteriorating relationship. Unless he said all that now just to make you feel even more shitty. You don’t know what’s right anymore.
The thoughts spiral like a storm in your mind, each one crashing into the next without pause. The quiet apartment, usually your refuge, feels stifling now. The weight of everything Satoru said—and everything he didn’t—presses down on you like a heavy fog. You pull your knees to your chest, wrapping your arms around them as if it could keep the memories and doubts at bay. It doesn’t. His words replay in your mind, over and over.
"You think I’d let a class divide or family politics get in the way of being there for my son?"
"Do you have any idea what it feels like to find out you have a son you’ve never even met?"
It’s not just his anger that haunts you; it’s the pain you saw flickering behind his icy facade. You knew it would be there, but experiencing it firsthand feels nauseating. Satoru Gojo wasn’t the type to wear his emotions on his sleeve, but in those fleeting moments, his vulnerability was almost unbearable to witness.
Still, you start to wonder. Why didn’t he fight for you? That thought burns the most. It’s a question that’s lingered in the shadows of your mind for years, one you tried to bury under the weight of your choices and responsibilities. The truth is, you don’t have an answer. Maybe you never will.
You glance at the small coffee table, littered with Koji’s coloring books and the half-empty mug of coffee you didn’t finish this morning. It feels like a snapshot of a life you’ve tried so hard to hold together, but now the cracks are impossible to ignore. You think of Koji, sleeping soundly in the other room, blissfully unaware of the storm brewing in your chest. He’s your anchor, the one thing that’s kept you grounded all these years. But now, with Satoru back in the picture, everything feels uncertain.
A part of you wants to believe he meant what he said—that he missed you, that he hated himself for losing you. But another part of you wonders if it’s just anger talking, a need to lash out and make you feel as miserable as he does. The exhaustion pulls at you like a tide, and you let your head fall into your hands, groaning softly. You want to scream, cry, or maybe just disappear for a while. But none of that will solve anything. You can’t rewrite the past.
The soft hum of the refrigerator fills the silence, a dull reminder of the life you’ve built here, brick by fragile brick. And now, in just a single morning, Satoru has shaken the foundation of everything you thought you knew.
You sigh heavily, forcing yourself to stand. There’s no use drowning in your thoughts. You glance at the closed door to Koji’s room, then at the kitchen. Maybe you should prepare something for lunch. Maybe you should sit down and write out everything you’ve been feeling, like the therapist you saw briefly after Koji’s birth suggested.
But instead, you just stand there, frozen in place, as the weight of your choices and the uncertainty of what comes next presses down on you. He’s gonna meet his dad. Koji’s finally getting what he’s wanted after so long, after so many curious questions. You think about how happy he might be, a little shy at first, but he’ll grow to become best friends with his dad. Bitterly smiling, you walk to the kitchen, forcing open a locked cabinet. You pour an unknowing amount of small white pills in your palm, dry swallowing them to quell your monstrous cluster migraine. The pills burn slightly as they go down, a sharp reminder of how raw your nerves are. You grip the edge of the sink, your fingers curling into the cold metal. The thought of Koji meeting Satoru feels like a knife with two edges—one gleaming with hope and the other with fear.
Once Koji wakes up, you’ll need to have a talk with him. Koji’s been asking about his dad for as long as he could form the words. His innocent curiosity, his longing, had always been a reminder of the choices you made, and now…now, you’ll have to confront what those choices mean for him.
He’ll most likely be jumping off the walls, but…you start hoping he doesn’t. You imagine his face lighting up when he sees Satoru—those wide, curious eyes sparkling with excitement and the kind of joy you could never quite give him on your own. That should make you happy, shouldn’t it? He deserves to have both parents in his life. But the thought of him bonding with Satoru, looking up to him, and maybe even loving him more than you…that thought digs into your chest like a splinter. You hate how petty and small it makes you feel.
You’ve done your best, haven’t you? You’ve given everything you could, sacrificed so much, and tried to shield him from the harshness of the world. But Satoru has something you can’t give—a life free of constant worries, opportunities Koji can only dream of, and a charisma that pulls people in like gravity. It’s stupid, you know it is. But you start worrying that Koji will begin to prefer Satoru over you. That he’ll find more comfort and happiness in a parent he just met than the one who’s done everything she could.
But that’s the thing.
Maybe your everything, your all, it just wasn’t enough. It still isn’t enough. Because while you’re giving Koji the bare minimum, you can’t do the littler things. Vacations, buying him toys he loves that he constantly sees on TV, newer clothes and not the thrifted kind, going out to eat dinner. None of that, and more.
You glance at the clock. Koji will hopefully wake up soon. There’s no more time to wallow in your thoughts. You rinse your hands under the cold water, hoping it’ll steady the tremor in them. "This isn’t about you," you remind yourself firmly, staring at your reflection in the window above the sink. The woman staring back looks older than her years, her eyes heavy with exhaustion and worry. But beneath all of that, there’s still love—a fierce, unrelenting love for the boy who’s about to have his world turned upside down. You can’t control how Koji feels about Satoru, just like you couldn’t control how things fell apart between you and him. But you can control how you navigate this moment, for Koji’s sake.
You take a deep breath, forcing a smile that feels like it might crack your face. When Koji wakes up, you’ll talk to him. You’ll answer his questions, help him prepare, and do your best to hide your own fears. Because this isn’t about you.
"It’s about him," you whisper, as if saying it out loud will make the truth easier to accept.

“What I say, baby, I want you to listen well, okay? Can you do that for me?”
The young boy nods and grins. “I can listen, Mama,” he admits proudly.
You should also probably bring up the issue Mr. Ito expressed to you, but that’s for another time. Also, you feel as if you weren’t getting the full story there. Whatever, that’s for another time. You steel yourself, choosing the correct words to say. “So, you know how Papa is always busy?”
He nods.
“Well,” you continue, taking his much smaller hand into yours, presenting a warm smile. “Papa won’t be busy tomorrow.”
He gasps, already seeing the twinkle form in his eyes, and you feel a tad jealous at how happy he’s already getting. “He is?!”
“Mhm,” you nod back. “Do you want to see Pa—”
“I wanna see Papa!”
He cuts you off, causing your jealousy to momentarily skyrocket. You catch yourself before the feeling twists any further, biting down the sharp edge of jealousy threatening to creep into your tone. This isn’t about you—it’s about Koji. It’s always been about Koji. “That’s great,” you say, forcing your smile to stay steady, even as a part of you aches at how easily he lights up for someone who’s been a ghost in his life until now. “But, Koji, baby, you need to listen to me first, okay? Seeing Papa is a big thing, and we need to talk about what that means.”
He tilts his head, the excitement in his eyes dimming just a little as he picks up on the seriousness in your voice. “Is it gonna be like when we see Uncle Ren?”
Your heart twists at the innocent comparison. Ren, for all his faults, has been one of the only constants in Koji’s life outside of you. But no—this isn’t like Ren. This is his father. Ren’s the nicer, older man who runs the sweet shop down the corner. He always greets you two with such warmness, even giving Koji a free lollipop most of the time.
“Not exactly,” you say carefully. “Papa is... someone very important. He’s not like Uncle Ren. He’s your family, Koji. Your real family.”
He blinks, trying to process your words. His little brows knit together in confusion. “So... he’s gonna stay with us?”
You feel your stomach drop at the question. You hadn’t prepared for this. You hadn’t thought about how to explain that Satoru isn’t coming into Koji’s life as a permanent fixture—not yet, at least. How do you tell a child something so complicated when it’s barely something you’ve figured out yourself? “Not right now,” you say gently, squeezing his hand. “But he’s going to start spending time with you. He’s been waiting a long time to meet you, Koji.”
“Really?” His face lights up again, his tiny frame vibrating with excitement.
“Really,” you confirm, though your voice feels thick. You clear your throat, forcing the emotion back down where it belongs. “But when you meet him, you have to be on your best behavior, okay? No running around like crazy or talking over people.”
“I’ll be good!” he promises, practically bouncing in his seat. You hope so. More than anything, you hope this meeting is what Koji dreams it’ll be. That he gets to see the man who is half of him and feel nothing but joy.
But as you watch his wide, excited smile, your stomach churns with doubt. Will Satoru disappoint him? Will Koji’s expectations crash under the weight of Satoru’s complexities? Or worse, will Koji grow to love him so much that he stops looking at you the same way?
You push the thought away, leaning forward to kiss Koji’s forehead. “I’m proud of you, baby,” you murmur, even as the ache in your chest refuses to subside. “And I’m so excited for you to meet Papa.”
Koji giggles, his little arms wrapping around your waist in a hug so pure it threatens to undo you entirely. You hold him close, pressing your cheek to his soft hair, and try to anchor yourself in this moment—this fleeting, fragile peace—before tomorrow comes and changes everything. As Koji pulls back, his eyes are gleaming with uncontainable joy. “Do you think Papa likes dinosaurs?” he asks suddenly, his voice pitched with excitement. “I can show him my dino book! And my drawings too!”
Your lips twitch into a soft smile despite the heaviness sitting in your chest. “I think he’ll love them, Koji,” you say gently. “But remember, it’s okay if Papa doesn’t know everything about dinosaurs. You can teach him, right?”
Koji nods eagerly, his little hands fidgeting as if he’s already planning how he’ll show off his collection. “I can teach him all the big words, like pachy... pachycephalosaurus!” he declares proudly.
Your laugh is small but genuine, breaking through the weight of your thoughts. “That’s a big word, alright,” you say, ruffling his hair. Koji’s excitement is infectious, and for a moment, you let yourself bask in his enthusiasm. It’s easier to pretend that everything will go smoothly, that tomorrow won’t bring possible complications you can’t predict or control. But as he bounds off to his room, presumably to organize his dinosaur books and drawings for tomorrow, the silence that settles over the apartment again feels excruciating. You glance toward the kitchen, where the locked cabinet hides the pills you’ve been relying on far too often these days. For a moment, the thought crosses your mind, unbidden: Would it even matter if I wasn’t enough anymore?
You shake your head sharply, disgusted with yourself for even entertaining it. No. You have to be enough—for Koji, if nothing else.
Sighing, you push yourself off the couch and move toward his room. You lean against the doorframe, watching as he carefully stacks his books into a neat pile, his little hands moving with purpose. “Koji,” you call softly, and he looks up at you, his face lit with the same pure joy it’s always had.
“Yeah, Mama?”
“I just...” You hesitate, the words catching in your throat. I just love you so much. It feels too simple, too heavy all at once. Instead, you force a smile. “I think Papa’s really lucky to have you.”
Koji beams, his smile wide and toothy. “And you, Mama!” he says, matter-of-factly, before returning to his project.
You linger for a moment longer, letting his words wrap around your heart like a fragile thread. You don’t know what tomorrow will bring—if it’ll heal or shatter you further—but for now, you let yourself hold on to the hope in his voice. Because like always, Koji is your guiding light in a world so dark, he’s the hand that pulls you out when you’re sinking too deep. If you begin to question your love for even yourself, your love for him is enough to keep you going.

Today’s a little more warm than usual, though that doesn’t say a lot considering it’s winter and the air feels crispy; still sunny. You hold your son’s hand, guiding him along the sidewalk and to the inevitable meeting spot between father and son. You left a little early; it being 9:30. It feels slightly calmer within your mind, probably because Satoru isn’t here yet.
You sit with Koji on the bench, letting him find placement on your lap. Adjusting his red beanie and gloves. “Are you excited, Koji?”
“I’m really excited, Mama. do you think Papa will like me?”
You coo. “Of course he will. Papa already loves you.”
“Really? Even though he’s never seen me?”
Koji beams at your words, his small hands tugging at the ends of his gloves as if to keep himself busy. “Do you think he’ll play with me? Maybe dinosaurs or tag?” His little backpack is full of things he wishes to show his father, most of them being either dinosaur or car-related.
You smile softly, stroking his cheek. “I think he’ll play whatever you want. Papa will want to get to know you, Koji. You’re very special to him.”
His grin widens, and he leans into your touch, the warmth of his trust settling heavily on your chest. You wish you could bottle this moment—his innocence, his excitement, his unshakable belief that everything will turn out fine.
The minutes pass as you and Koji wait for Satoru, the latter being more excited than the other. Finally, the sound of footsteps crunching in the frosty grass pulls your attention, and your heart skips. You glance up and see Satoru approaching, his tall frame unmistakable even from a distance. His coat flutters slightly in the breeze, his pace steady yet reluctant, as if he’s as nervous as you are. He’s wearing sunglasses, per usual. A voice in the back of your mind berates him for that fashion choice. “There he is,” you murmur, nudging Koji gently.
Koji hops off your lap, his tiny hand still clutching yours tightly. He squints toward the approaching figure, his expression a mix of curiosity and awe. “Is that Papa?”
You nod, your throat tightening. “That’s him, sweetheart.”
As Satoru comes closer, his steps slow, his gaze fixed on the little boy beside you. His expression is unreadable—somewhere between wonder and hesitation, like he’s trying to process the reality of seeing his son for the first time.
“Koji,” you say softly, giving his hand a reassuring squeeze. “Say hello.”
Koji looks up at Satoru, his shyness momentarily overtaking his excitement. “Hi, Papa,” he says, his voice small but filled with hope.
Satoru stops a few steps away, his hands shoved in his coat pockets. His usual cocky demeanor is gone, replaced by something softer, almost vulnerable. His blue eyes flicker to you briefly before settling on Koji. “Hey there, little buddy,” he says, his voice quiet. He crouches slightly to Koji’s level, offering a tentative smile. “You must be Koji. I’m Satoru.”
Koji nods, gripping your hand tighter. “That’s me. Are you really my Papa?”
Satoru chuckles, though there’s a faint crack in the sound. “Yeah, kid. I am.”
Koji’s face lights up, and he lets go of your hand to take a step toward Satoru. “Mama said you love me already. Is that true?”
For a moment, Satoru seems at a loss for words. His gaze softens, and he nods, his voice rough with emotion. “Yeah, Koji. I do. I’ve always loved you.” The boy beams, closing the remaining distance to hug Satoru’s waist, his little arms barely wrapping around it. Satoru freezes for a second before carefully putting his hand down, his large palm resting gently on Koji’s back.
Your chest tightens at the sight, and you quickly look away, blinking back the tears threatening to spill. This is their moment, you tell yourself. A moment you’ve waited so long for, no matter how bittersweet it feels.
Koji pulls his head back, a wide and toothy smile as he regards his father. His head tilts, staring at his own reflection within the tinted shades of the glasses before Satoru reaches and pulls them over his head. It’s like a mirror, almost uncanny how similar the two look; you seem like an outsider. There’s an unspoken moment as the two continue to look at each other, as if finally saying this is really him. Their eyes are like when you place two mirrors in front of one another.
Satoru’s lips twitch upward into a faint smile as he holds the glasses out, letting Koji’s small fingers curl around the frame. “Here, try them on,” he says, his tone light but carrying a hint of something deeper—an unspoken acknowledgment of their connection.
Koji’s eyes widen with delight, and he eagerly slips the oversized glasses onto his face. They sit crookedly on his nose, far too large for his small frame, but his grin stretches even wider. “Do I look cool, Papa?” He asks as the glasses slide down his nose.
Satoru laughs softly, a sound that feels warmer than you expected. “Cooler than me, for sure. Guess I have to step up my game now.”
The boy giggles, and you watch the interaction with a bittersweet ache in your chest. This is what you’d imagined all those nights when you wondered how the two of them would get along. The way Koji lights up under Satoru’s attention is both heartwarming and a painful reminder of what’s been missing. Koji pulls the glasses off and holds them out to Satoru. “Here, you can have them back. Mama says sharing is nice.”
Satoru takes them, sliding them back over his forehead. His gaze briefly flicks to you, a flicker of something unreadable crossing his face before he looks back at Koji. “Your mama’s right. Sharing is pretty nice.”
You clear your throat, feeling like an intruder in their growing bond. “Koji,” you say softly, “how about we sit down for a bit?”
Koji nods eagerly, pulling Satoru’s hand as he moves toward the bench. Satoru lets him lead, his expression softening as he glances down at the boy. It’s a strange sight—Satoru, who’s always seemed larger than life, brought down to such an intimate moment. As they sit, Koji climbs onto the space beside him which is in between you two, his legs swinging with restless energy. “Papa, do you like dinosaurs? Mama says I know a lot about them!”
Satoru leans back, crossing his arms as he smirks. “Dinosaurs, huh? Bet you’re smarter than me already. You’ll have to teach me everything.”
“I can do that!” Koji declares proudly, bouncing slightly in his seat. Satoru hums, his gaze shifting to you again momentarily. There’s an unspoken question in his eyes, as if silently acknowledging the effort it must have taken to bring this moment to life. It’s gone before you know it.
You offer a small, shaky smile, unsure if it’s enough. But for now, it seems to be all you can give. Koji digs into his backpack, pulling out his dinosaur drawings and books. Koji’s small hands fumble with the zipper of his backpack, his excitement palpable as he pulls it open and begins rifling through its contents. “Wait, Papa! I gotta show you something!” he exclaims, his voice bubbling with enthusiasm.
Satoru leans forward slightly, resting his elbows on his knees, curiosity piqued. “Oh yeah? What’ve you got in there, buddy?”
Koji triumphantly pulls out a stack of slightly crumpled drawings, held together by a paperclip, and a well-worn dinosaur book with a cracked spine. “These are my favorite! Look!” He spreads the drawings out on Satoru’s lap, pointing at each one with his little finger. “This is a T-Rex—it’s the king of dinosaurs. And this one’s a Triceratops! It has three horns, see?”
Satoru’s gaze moves over the colorful scribbles, a mix of crayons and markers. He chuckles, tapping the corner of a particularly fierce-looking dinosaur. “This T-Rex looks like it’s about to eat someone. You’re a pretty good artist, Koji.”
Koji beams, his chest puffing out with pride. “Mama helped me with some of the colors!”
You can’t help but smile at the way he gives you credit, even as you hover a few inches away. “He did most of it himself,” you say, your voice softer than you intended.
Satoru glances at you, his expression unreadable, before turning back to Koji. “You’re really into dinosaurs, huh? You know, I think I might need some lessons. I don’t know much about them.”
Koji’s eyes widen. “You don’t? Oh, Papa, I know so much! I can tell you all about the Velociraptor! They were super smart and super fast, like this!” He hops off the bench and runs a small circle in front of them, his arms tucked close like claws.
Satoru laughs, leaning back and watching his son’s animated movements. “Fast, huh? Guess I’ve got a lot to catch up on. You think you can teach me everything in one day?”
Koji stops, his hands on his hips as he considers the question. “Maybe two days,” he says with a solemn nod, as though he’s made a grand concession.
“Deal.” Satoru holds out his pinky, and Koji eagerly hooks his smaller one around it.
You watch the scene unfold, a lump forming in your throat. It’s a simple, tender moment—a glimpse of what could have been all these years. The sight of Satoru interacting so effortlessly with Koji stirs something deep within you: a mixture of relief, regret, and longing. For now, though, you let it play out, quietly holding onto the hope that maybe—just maybe—this is the start of something better.
Watching Satoru and his little carbon copy switch from topic to topic so animatedly, laughing practically in the same tone, hopping up from the bench and making their way over to the playground a few feet away where they play tag and other parently things, it’s bittersweet. Their voices overlapping with excitement, is nothing short of surreal. They laugh at the same things, sounding so bright, carefree, and unrestrained. It’s uncanny how similar they are, from the sparkle in their eyes to the animated gestures they make when they’re especially engrossed in a story.
Satoru follows Koji without hesitation. His long legs make exaggerated strides as he pretends to struggle to keep up with Koji’s smaller but determined ones. They dart toward the playground a few feet away, the father pretending to stumble dramatically as Koji tags him with a triumphant giggle. “Gotcha, Papa!” Koji exclaims, hands on his hips in victory.
Satoru clutches his chest, feigning defeat. “Oh no! You’re too fast for me! How am I ever gonna catch you now?” Koji’s laughter fills the air, high-pitched and unbridled, and Satoru’s laughter follows—louder, but just as genuine. They move seamlessly into other "parent-y" things: Satoru helps Koji up onto the monkey bars, playfully pretends to lose at rock-paper-scissors, and even kneels in the dirt to “help” Koji build a small castle from wood chips and fallen leaves.
It’s poignant.
On one hand, this is what you always wanted for Koji: the joy of having his father present, the sense of belonging that comes with it. Seeing them together, it’s clear they’re already forming a bond—one you never doubted they’d have. But on the other hand, it’s a painful reminder of what could have been. Of all the moments you and Koji missed out on, of the milestones, Satoru wasn’t there to witness. It feels like watching a puzzle finally fall into place, except you’re the piece that doesn’t quite fit.
You sit on the edge of the bench, arms crossed tightly over your chest, trying to focus on the joy radiating from Koji rather than the ache in your heart. The past five years feel heavier than ever as you watch them, your mind flipping through memories of bedtime stories, scraped knees, and birthdays spent alone. You did your best, but sitting here now, it feels like it was never adequate.
Satoru glances over his shoulder at one point, catching your eye. There’s something obscure in his expression—maybe it’s a touch of hesitation, or something softer. For a moment, you hold his gaze, unsure of what to say or do. Then, Koji calls his name again, and he’s pulled back into the moment, grinning as he lets the boy climb onto his back for a piggyback ride.
You smile faintly, blinking back the sting in your eyes. This is for Koji, you remind yourself. This is for him. Even if it hurts, even if it feels like you’re standing on the outside looking in, it’s worth it for him. Always for him. Because at the end of the day, no matter what his parents are going through, he needs Satoru just as much as you, and vice versa.
What if he starts needing Satoru more? Fathers and sons always have that special bond that can’t be replicated by mother and son, it’s like how daughters and mothers have a relationship like no other. Fathers and sons, they always seem to share a unique connection, one that feels effortless and almost predestined. The kind of connection you can never quite replicate, no matter how hard you try; and daughters naturally gravitate toward their mothers, a coalition that feels like it was written into their DNA.
But Koji’s all you have.
What if he starts asking for Satoru more? What if this new relationship between them becomes so strong, so unshakable, that you’re left standing on the sidelines? A shadow of the parent you’ve always tried to be. The thought sends a jolt of panic straight through your chest, cold and unrelenting.
What will you do then? No, you think, that can’t happen. It won’t.
You shake your head, trying to banish the thought as quickly as it came. That can’t happen. It just can’t happen. You’ve been there for every scraped knee, every bedtime story, every nightmare that needed soothing. You’ve carried the weight of being both parents for five long years. There’s no way Satoru can just step in now and take your place, no matter how effortlessly he seems to connect with Koji. But that was because you chose that, a voice in your head reminds you.
Still, is it bad to hold your son this close to you? Fearing that he’ll be ripped away from you before you can even blink? Is that co-dependence? To want to shield him from a world that feels like it’s constantly trying to take him away from you? Is it selfish to want to keep him tethered to you, even as you know he deserves the freedom to explore this new relationship with his father?
You swallow hard, your hands fidgeting in your lap. Maybe it is selfish. Maybe it is in fact co-dependence, this need to keep him as close as possible, as if letting go even a little might mean losing him completely. But how could it not be? He’s been your everything for so long, the only light in a world that’s often felt impossibly dark. You glance at the playground again, watching as Satoru spins Koji around in his arms, both of them laughing like they’ve known each other forever. And maybe they have, in a way. Maybe some part of Koji has always been waiting for this, for his father to finally show up and fill the space you couldn’t. Wait, you know he’s been waiting for this.
Your chest tightens, and you force yourself to take a steadying breath. This isn’t about you. It never was. Koji deserves this, and you owe it to him to put aside your fears and let him have it.
Even if it feels like it’s breaking you apart in the process.
Tumblr media
It’s been a few hours and if possible, it’s like Koji and Satoru are best friends. That’s good, right? Satoru has always been a charming person, one you could easily find comfort in. You’ve lived that. Koji’s sweating by the time he comes over to you. “Drink water,” you gently instruct, handing him his small Spiderman water bottle, and wiping at his sweaty face and neck with the sleeve of your coat.
“Energetic little boy,” Satoru sighs in mild exhaustion as he comes over. He seems to be sweating too, cheeks flushed a nice red, chest heaving up and down. He undoes another button on his casual button-down, giving you a view of his Adam’s apple bobbing up and down. You catch yourself staring too intently and look away before he can say anything.
He notices.
“Mama, Papa is so fast. I wanna be fast like him.” Koji breathes out, smiling at you, his cheeks red in similarity to his dad.
With a light chuckle, you take his water bottle back once he’s done. “You’re already fast, Koji. But when you grow up into a bigger boy, you’ll be really fast, maybe even faster than Papa.”
“Hey,” Satoru cuts in, giving you a frown that teeters on the line of a playful pout. “He’s not there yet, let’s cross that bridge when we get there.”
The word let’s makes your stomach twist a bit. A reminder that he does want this, he does want Koji, he does want to be a father. You entertain the idea of him wanting you, before quickly shuffling that away.
“Papa, are you coming home with us?” Koji innocently asks, unaware of the way his two parents simultaneously stiffen. The question hangs in the air like a weight, heavy and unrelenting. Koji’s wide-eyed innocence is almost cruel in its purity, completely unaware of the way his words have sliced through the fragile peace you and Satoru have been clinging to.
Satoru’s eyes dart to yours, his expression unreadable, though the slight twitch of his jaw betrays his tension. You can feel his gaze searching for some kind of answer, some indication of how you want him to handle this. But how could you possibly guide him when you don’t even know what to say yourself?
You force a smile, though it feels more like a grimace, and gently brush Koji’s hair back under his red beanie. “Papa has his own home, sweetheart,” you say carefully, your voice soft but firm. “He’s not coming home with us today.”
Koji’s face falls just slightly, but he doesn’t argue. Instead, he looks back at Satoru, his small hands clutching the hem of his sweater. “Can I see Papa again?”
Satoru crouches down to Koji’s level, his long fingers lightly ruffling the boy’s hair. “Of course, you can,” he says, his voice warm and reassuring. “I’m not going anywhere, buddy. You’ll see me again real soon.”
The promise is sincere, and it makes something in your chest ache. For Koji’s sake, you want to believe him. You want to believe that Satoru will keep his word, that he won’t somehow put his work over his own son. But a small, bitter part of you—the part that remembers how he let you go so easily all those years ago—can’t quite let go of its doubts.
Koji seems satisfied with the answer, his smile returning as he hugs Satoru tightly. “Okay! I’ll see you soon, Papa!”
As Satoru hugs him back, his eyes flicker to you over Koji’s shoulder. There’s something there, something unspoken but heavy. Guilt? Hope? Regret? You can’t tell, and you’re not sure you want to. When they finally pull apart, Satoru stands, his hands slipping into his pockets as he looks down at you. “I’ll walk you both back,” he offers.
You hesitate, your first instinct to decline, but Koji’s excited cheer cuts you off. “Yes! Papa can come with us!”
And just like that, you’re outnumbered. You force another tight smile, nodding as you gather Koji’s things. “Alright,” you say quietly.
The three of you set off together, Koji happily chatting away as he skips in front of you, completely unaware of the tension simmering just beneath the surface. Satoru walks close enough that his shoulder occasionally brushes against yours, each touch sending an unwelcome jolt through you.
It’s a painfully wistful image, the three of you walking together like some semblance of a family. But deep down, you know it’s just that—an image. A fleeting moment in time that doesn’t change the years of distance and pain that still stretch between you and Satoru. And yet, for Koji’s sake, you try to hold onto it just a little longer. Even if it hurts.
The closer you get to your apartment, the more the houses look a little run down. Trash on the streets, beat-up cars, the way the number of people slowly dwindles down as if they know not to cross an unspoken line of the city. You suddenly feel extremely self-conscious; you know Satoru is having internal questions.
You live here?
Is this even a safe neighborhood?
You’re raising my son in some place like this?
He stays quiet, but you know he wants to say something. He has to want to. Because Satoru was given everything growing up, all in pristine condition. He’s never had to worry about whether those were fireworks or not, he’s used to the kind of neighborhood where your neighbors are mowing their lawns at seven in the morning, greeting everyone in a happy way.
The tension is stifling, stretched thin by the unspoken judgment you feel radiating off Satoru. You don’t dare look at him, your eyes fixed on Koji’s little form skipping ahead, blissfully unaware of the tension simmering behind him. Your cheeks burn with shame, and you hate yourself for it. This is your reality, your life. You’ve done everything you could to provide for Koji, and while it may not be perfect—or anywhere close—you’ve kept him safe, fed, and loved. But under Satoru’s unspoken scrutiny, it suddenly feels like none of that is enough.
He’s used to opulence, to security, to the kind of life where struggle is nothing more than an abstract concept. What could he possibly know about living paycheck to paycheck, about stretching every dollar, about the fear of your son asking for something you just can’t afford?
Still, his silence grates on your nerves, each step you take toward your apartment building making the tension in your chest tighten like a vice. When he finally speaks, his voice is calm, measured—but you can hear the edge in it, the careful restraint. “You’ve been here the whole time?”
You stop walking, Koji a few feet ahead now as he fiddles with a crack in the sidewalk. Turning to Satoru, you feel your stomach churn at the unreadable look on his face. His hands are still stuffed in his pockets, his posture casual, but his piercing blue eyes burn with an intensity that makes you feel exposed.
“Yes,” you answer, lifting your chin slightly as if that could shield you from the vulnerability creeping up your spine.
“And this is where you’ve been raising Koji?” There it is. The question you knew was coming, coated in a thin veil of curiosity but laced with something deeper—concern, maybe even disappointment.
“Yes,” you say again, your voice firmer this time. “This is where we’ve been.”
Satoru lets out a slow breath, his gaze sweeping over the street, the cracked pavement, and the graffiti-stained walls. “It’s not exactly... ideal,” he says carefully, though the criticism in his tone is unmistakable.
Your fists clench at your sides, a rush of defensiveness coursing through you. “I know it’s not ideal,” you snap, your voice low but sharp. “But it’s what I could afford. It’s where we’ve made a life, and Koji is happy here. Isn’t that what matters?”
His jaw tightens, and for a moment, he doesn’t respond. Instead, he looks at Koji, who’s now crouched down and inspecting a dandelion sprouting from a crack in the sidewalk, blithely unaware of the storm brewing between his parents. Satoru then sighs, running a hand through his hair. “I’m not saying you haven’t done your best,” he says, his voice softer now. “But...he deserves better than this.”
The words hit you like a slap, and you take an involuntary step back, your heart sinking into your stomach. “You think I don’t know that?” you hiss, your voice trembling. “You think I don’t hate myself every single day for not being able to give him more? I’m doing everything I can, Satoru. Everything. And if that’s not good enough for you, then maybe you should’ve been here sooner.”
“Then maybe you should’ve told me sooner,” he’s quick to quip back.
Well, you walked right into that one, didn’t you?
The silence that follows is deafening, and for a moment, the two of you just stare at each other, the weight of years of pain and resentment hanging heavy between you.
Koji’s voice breaks the tension, cheerful and oblivious. “Mama, look! A flower!”
You force a smile, blinking back the sting of tears as you walk over to crouch down to Koji’s level. “It’s beautiful, honey,” you say, brushing a hand over his soft hair. “Just like you.”
Behind you, Satoru says nothing, but you can feel his eyes on you, heavy with something you can’t quite name. And as you take Koji’s hand and lead him toward your building, you can’t help but wonder what he’s thinking, what he’s feeling, and what this moment means for the three of you.
You three finally get to the poor excuse of an apartment lobby, making your way to the elevator that always makes questionable sounds. Once inside, you press the 3 button, and you’re off. The doors creak shut and the small, dingy light above flickers during the ascent. During this time, you wish Koji would mask the awkwardness with his childish nature. Too bad he’s pretty tired from playing til his heart’s content, leaning his cheek against your arm.
The elevator hums and groans as it ascends, the sound filling the uncomfortable silence that hangs between you and Satoru. Koji’s small, warm weight against your side is a comfort, but it’s not enough to dispel the tension. You steal a glance at Satoru, who stands a step away, his hands shoved into his pockets as he leans against the elevator wall. His expression is unreadable, his blue eyes fixed on the faintly glowing numbers above the doors.
You wonder what he’s thinking. Does he regret coming? Is he silently judging everything—the elevator, the building, you? You hate how self-conscious you feel, how his presence has peeled back layers of armor you didn’t even realize you had put on. Koji shifts against you, mumbling something incoherent. You brush a hand over his head, smoothing down his messy hair, and whisper, “Almost home, sweetheart.”
Suddenly, there’s a sound of a ding. Followed by another. And then another. And then another. Confused, you glance over at Satoru who subtly pulls his phone out to glance at his home screen, a frown pulling at his lips. You can’t see who’s texting, but it looks and sounds like a lot. You know you have no right asking, but you can’t help but speculate about who’s blowing up his phone, and why he looks so annoyed by it. And why he also looks like he’s trying to hide the phone from your view.
The elevator jerks slightly as it reaches the third floor, and Koji stirs, blinking up at you sleepily. “We’re here?”
“We’re here,” you confirm with a small smile, gently nudging him upright.
Satoru stuffs his phone away again as the doors creak open, revealing the dimly lit hallway beyond. The carpet is worn and the walls are scuffed. You promptly feel another intense wave of embarrassment. You’ve grown used to this place, its imperfections blending into the background of your daily life, but seeing it through Satoru’s eyes makes you painfully aware of every flaw. “This way,” you say, your voice tight as you step out, leading them down the hall.
Koji perks up a little, his steps are more energetic as he tugs on your hand. “Papa, wait till you see my room! I have dinosaurs everywhere!”
“I can’t wait,” Satoru replies, his tone light and easy, but there’s something in his eyes as he glances around. He’s taking it all in—the peeling paint, the faint smell of dampness, the creak of the floorboards under his expensive shoes. You stop in front of your door, fishing your keys out of your pocket. The chipped paint and tarnished doorknob seem to scream your insecurities aloud.
“This is it,” you say quietly, unlocking the door and pushing it open.
Koji rushes inside, his earlier fatigue forgotten as he kicks off his shoes and heads straight for his room. “Wait here, Papa! I’ll show you my dinos!”
Satoru lingers in the doorway for a moment before stepping in, his gaze sweeping over the small living room. It’s cluttered but clean, with Koji’s toys and drawings scattered here and there. The couch is worn, the coffee table scratched, and the kitchen in the corner is cramped and outdated.
“It’s... cozy,” Satoru says after a moment, his tone careful.
You bristle instinctively, crossing your arms over your chest. “It’s what I can afford.”
“I didn’t mean—” He stops, exhaling softly. “You’ve done a good job, really. Koji’s happy. That’s what matters.”
You study his face, searching for any trace of condescension or pity, but all you see is sincerity. It catches you off guard, and you look away, busying yourself with tidying up. Satoru takes a few steps further into the room, his gaze lingering on one of Koji’s drawings taped to the wall. It’s a crayon depiction of you and Koji holding hands under a smiling sun. Next to you, there’s an empty space, as if waiting for someone to be added.
He doesn’t say anything, but the slight tightening of his jaw tells you he’s noticed.
Koji rushes out with his toy dinosaurs, holding them up for his father to take. The two move to the couch, the weight of Satoru causing it to creak weirdly. Once more, Koji is giving his father a lesson about dinosaurs, their names, and what they were like—even what sounds they made.
“Do you want a drink?” you ask, looking over to the kitchen. “I have water and some juice.”
He looks up momentarily. But just as he’s about to answer, his phone rings, this time a call. The three of you look down at his phone, Koji tilting his head in confusion before focusing on making his dinosaurs fight again. However, you’re a little more focused. Seeing a name, a woman’s name, accompanied with a picture of your ex kissing a woman you’ve never seen before.
You feel your muscles stiffen, a tug at your heartstrings. As if he notices your behavior from his peripheral, he locks his phone and lets it ring, putting it back in his pocket. “Sorry.” is all he mutters before looking at Koji. “Hey, buddy.”
Koji looks up at him. “Mhm?”
“Papa has to go home now, I have work to do,” Satoru responds slowly.
“You work today? But Mama doesn’t.”
The older of the two nods. “I know, but it’s special work.”
“Special?!”
“Special.”
“Okay!” Kojis nods, grin widening. “When will you come again, Papa?”
Satoru hesitates for a moment, his eyes moving to you, then back to Koji. You notice the brief pause, the weight of his words hanging in the air. He doesn’t look at you directly, but you can feel the shift in the space between you both. “I’ll come back soon, buddy,” he says finally, ruffling his hair affectionately. “I’ll see you again. We’ll play more, alright?”
Koji’s eyes light up, and he nods vigorously. “Okay! We’ll play dinosaurs again!” His excitement bubbles over, as if nothing has changed, as if the uncertainty of the last few minutes never existed.
Satoru smiles, ruffling Koji’s hair. “You’re the best, Koji.” He stands, looking over to you now. There’s an awkwardness that lingers, like the space between you two is suddenly filled with things unsaid.
“Thanks for letting me come by and meet him,” he adds quietly, the words sincere but tinged with something you can’t quite place. His gaze flickers down to his phone again, but it’s almost as if he’s avoiding it now, like he knows the reminder of what’s going on in his life is right there.
You nod stiffly. “Of course. Thanks for spending time with him.” Your words feel distant.
Satoru turns towards the door, his steps slow. “I’ll text you about when I can come back,” he says, his voice a little more subdued than before. He opens the door, then stops, his hand resting on the handle. “Take care of him. And yourself.”
You can’t tell if the last part is meant to be comforting or a reminder, but you nod anyway, your own thoughts swirling. With that, Satoru steps out, and the door closes behind him. You hear the faint click of his shoes as he walks down the hall, and then everything goes quiet.
Koji is already back to his dinosaurs, chattering to himself, completely unaware of the complexities unfolding in the space between his parents. You stand in the living room, your gaze lingering on the spot where Satoru had been, a thousand different emotions crashing inside you. The woman’s name on his phone, the kiss, the way he shut down the moment you noticed—it all gnaws at you, but you don’t know how to confront it. How do you even begin to ask? And what would it change, anyway? Why do you even care in the first place?
You take a deep breath and walk over to where Koji is playing, forcing a smile for his sake, trying to push everything else to the back of your mind. For now, it’s just you and him, and that has to be enough.

Hi can i pls request a lando x reader where he mentions in many interviews that he wants an army of kids and the camara always pans to other drivers teasing reader
ofc you can baby <33 thanks for helping me celebrate! here's that kiss i promised xoxo
requests are open!
852 words.
Tumblr media
it wasn't unknown that lando wanted kids. it's not like he went out of his way to to talk about having children either, he just went on half an hour tangents anytime an interviewer brought up the topic is all. you didn't find out just how many until you decided to ask him about it one night, not long after lando had gotten slandered on twitter for being 'obsessed' with having a mini version of himself running around.
"so.. you know how you've said you want kids?" you start, voice a little hesitant knowing he was a bit peeved about the bullying he was getting online for that very thing. if looks could kill you swear you would be a dead girl.
"don't you start." he groans, eyes rolling so hard to the of his head you thought they may get stuck.
lando, who had just gotten ready for bed, slips in beside you and you immediately know he's not actually pissed off at you because he is pulling your arm to get you as close to him as he physically could.
"i don't mean it like that, i just wanted to ask you about it." lando watches as you strain your neck up to be able to see his reaction from your very comfortable position on his chest. it does bring the smallest of smiles to his lips.
with a joking sigh he asks "what do you want to know?".
"well, i guess the most important one is-"
"if i want them with you?" lando interrupts, sending your brows into your hairline. you smack him on the back of the head and he just laughs like it was actually funny. dickhead.
"no! how many you want. but now i don't want any with you if they're going to turn out like you." you cross your arms over your chest, trying to convince him you actually were in a huff. a strong hand running down your front seconds after ruins your plans for any further annoyance though.
lando hums in thought before he answers your question. his hand now drawing random shapes on your hip bone.
"you're going to hate me when i say this, but i only really wanted a few maybe two max? but being with you? i want minimum four."
your gasp makes him wince. you're shocked, there is no way he is actually being serious. you tell him as much but he shakes his head and assures you just how serious he is.
"honestly baby. i want a big family with you."
his words may or may not rile you and you guys maybe get started on that big family that night, but you don't kiss and tell..
˗ˏˋ꒰ 🍒 ꒱
lando wasn't one to hold back on his thoughts or feelings and with his rants about wanting to start a family were proof of this, well you had thought so. the next time you're at the paddock is the next time he's asked about starting a family. you're watching from the side with max and oscar as he gets interviewed and you can see the say his whole face lights up at the question, as if racing was a chore he was getting forced to do every few weekends and not the second favourite part of his life.
lando takes a quick glance in your direction before he starts and it's like your conversation on the topic opened the floodgates in lando's mind as he reveals his every thought on having a baby or two or ten.
"me and my girlfriend were talking about this and it made me realise i want a full on norris army of children behind me. i want minimum four with my girl. ideally two of each but wouldn't even complain if all i had was girls because then that means that there would be so much more of my girl out there in the world, and little parts of me i guess too." lando's smile is splitting and the interviewer smiles back at him, loving seeing him being so open and honest about it.
"would you encourage your little ones to get involved in karting and racing?" she enquires. you can already picture taking your imaginary children along to watch lando in his races. it does make your heart skip a beat or two.
as the interview continues, unbeknown to you and the other two drivers who are making kissy faces at pretending to cradle a child in their arms just to tease you and how much lando was infatuated with the idea of kids with you, the camera pans in your direction to get a nice reaction shot to your boyfriend's words.
all they capture is your bright red face, from the teasing and lando blunt words, and the boys childish behaviour.
that night is then filled with lando teasing (and comforting) you as it was now your turn to get teased on twitter, millions of fans already making your reaction a meme. you knew you'd never live it down and a small part of you was excited to explain the video and reaction picture to those future kids.

reader! who’s stuck in a rom com x male lead John Price cw: meet cute, sfw
reader! who’s stuck as a back up character with one single line in rom com and keeps getting transported to different movies. And they’ve tried to get out of whatever simulation or timeline they’re in. Trust me, your favorite narrator, you’ve tried. From going against the script by interrupting the main cast when they’re about to say their line, or showing up drunk or just plain not showing up to the important scenes multiple times but nothing ever workers.
Reader decides to just play their role in every movie theyre thrown into, praying to whatever higher power is out there to save them. But their true personality pops out as soon as theyre alone. All is fine and well with the world until the main male lead, John Price, starts noticing readers little quirks.
Reader mouthing everything the the other characters are about to say, rolling their eyes at the female leads choices she makes even when the friend group they’re apart of is supposed to be supporting her, or the funny way they say their one, singular line and John can’t help but laugh on the inside because, what the fuck is going on with them? Why are they acting like that?
Was he missing something?
And one day he decides to ask the reader about it. And maybe it’s your 10th time running through John’s movie, so you’re completely zoned out to what’s actually happening around you because you know it like the back of your heart— some party scene, the female lead has dragged you to again and John is supposed to be arguing/flirting with her at the bar for the soon to be montage of them proving each other wrong. Blah, blah, blah. Instead, he comes next to you on the lounge seat you’re sitting on; whiskey in hand, the big, muscular, handsome bear sits next to you and you barely notice him.
You still keeping your eyes on the bar, anticipating the interaction you’ve seen plenty of times, peering through the dancing randoms who are never important. Nursing your second glass of wine because you had to have something in your system to go through any of this agin. You feel a tap on the shoulder, your eyes meeting the prettiest ocean blue eyes.
“Who are you looking for?” His voice is so utterly perfect, rustic and deep, just like it is when he’s talking to the female lead. But your head snaps from him to the bar and back to him. Then back to the bar and back to him. The most confused look forming on your face. You can’t even make up an answer to maybe get him back to the script because you’ve never been actually acknowledged by the male lead in any movie.
“That’s not apart of the script.” You say, words haughty as ever.
And oh— John Price likes that. In fact, he adores your voice and the way your tight outfit clings to your frame and that you gave the most arbitrary answer to his very simple question.
Congratulations reader! The director is finally changing its cast members— time for you to be the main character.

I <3 NERDS (c.s)
Tumblr media
PAIRING: nerd! soobin x afab! reader SUMMARY: just y/n not expecting nerd! soobin to be a sex god inspired by this very long thought with @gyuthmics WARNINGS: smut, basically no plot, afab! reader, switch! reader, dom! soobin, big dick! soobin, oral (m rec.), fingering, unprotected sex, creampie (please it's soobin i can't not include it), usage of the words "slut", "baby", "good girl", snowballing, literally like one spank WORD COUNT: 1.7k
you thought playing around with the cute little nerd in your class would be funny. he was absolutely harmless, you thought, blushing whenever you made eye contact with him and always watching anime in the back of class. all you wanted was to make him your partner for the project and watch him get flustered at every moment. so now you're left wondering: is this really happening? are you really getting the best dick of your life from some guy who has openly said his favorite anime is bunny girl senpai? how did he manage to have you crying and screaming his name?
you remember how his cheeks and ears reddened when you invited him over to your place to "work on the project," when you just wanted to see how long it'd take before he'd beg for your pussy.
oh, how you've missed having someone to play with. you wore a low-cut tank and shorts, leaving little to the imagination. gently patting the spot on your bed, inviting him to sit beside you. relishing the way he stutters each time he looks to talk to you. constantly looking up at him with doe eyes, brushing your shoulder against his, and pushing your breasts into his arms. how badly you're just waiting for him to snap. look at you through those overgrown bangs and grovel for you to give him a sweet release.
he did break, just not in the way you were hoping.
it was a swift motion, with soobin taking you by the wrists and pinning you down. "well, someone is acting like a little slut today." never would you have thought this absolute nerd would have you at such a loss for words. those words make you have to take a pause and leave your mouth slightly agape. "what's wrong? cat got your tongue?" he says this, cocking his head to the side and chuckling.
you're completely lost as to who the man in front of you is; this isn't the nerd you were toying with all day. this is some sort of demon you decided to summon. "c'mon, baby, use your words. i know you want this; you've been messing with me all day. don't back out now." he says, staring into your eyes, and all you can do is let out a broken please. "that's what i like to hear," he says right before planting a kiss on your lips.
you're needy for him, and soobin can't help but chuckle. the way you try to grind down on his knee between your legs, he thinks it's cute how you're slowly becoming putty in his hands. he wants to—no, he needs to ruin you. he's having to hold himself back, and you can tell. for now, he's content with just the taste of you. moving his lips from yours to your neck, you can't help but let out a moan and squirm more. "you're absolutely insatiable; tell me what you want." you're not sure how, but he's already managed to make your head dizzy. "i need you—i need you inside me, please, soobin." you can feel him smile into your neck as you plead. "of course, baby, but i need something from you first." he says letting your wrists free and using his other hand to unbutton his jeans. "get on your knees and suck my cock like the slut you are."
you feel like a woman possessed by how quickly you get on your knees for him. staring up at him in anticipation and hoping he won't notice as you rub your thighs together. when he pulls his pants down, it almost hits you in the face, and you can't help but stare. he's huge. "soobin, you're going to break me." he nearly throws his head back and laughs, "i thought sluts like you were supposed to like big cocks. c'mon, don't be shy now. suck." his order sends a jolt of electricity down to your core.
opening your mouth, you try to take as much of him as possible, and what you can't, you wrap your hands around. bobbing your head up and down his cock, your eyes never leave him. the way his breathing becomes gradually more labored as he groans. his eyes are hungry as he looks at you. "good girl, i knew you could take me," he tells you, and you can feel your walls clench around nothing, and you can't help but moan around him. it's enough to make him curse and grab the back of your head. you can feel tears pricking at the corners of your eyes as he pushes your head down. feeling his head hit the back of your throat and his cock twitch. you barely have a second before you feel hot cum spill down your throat.
soobin pulls you off his cock and places a hand under your chin. forcing you to stare up at him through those thick-rimmed glasses and overgrown fringe. he pulls you up to him and forces his lips on yours. swapping his cum between you before you finally decide to swallow it. "you're nasty," he says before giving you a light spank, making you let out a yelp. he grabs you by the hand and guides you back to the bed.
his eyes are blown with lust, and suddenly your clothes feel too hot for your skin. you're telling him to pull off your shorts as you tear your top off, and you're left in only your underwear. soobin is quick to start marking and playing with your breasts, telling you how perfect they are. feeling his right hand on your clothed core, you can't help but grind against it. he notices the way you grind on his hand and moves your panties to the side. watching how drenched you are, he decides to dip two of his long fingers inside you, and it has you reeling.
feeling his fingers inside your gummy walls is enough to have you screaming for him. he reaches places your pathetic fingers could never reach. he's so mean and fast with them too; the noises made by them are so lewd, you'd be embarrassed if you weren't enjoying it so much. you think you can't get enough of his fingers until he uses his thumb to circle your clit. the stimulation is so great that he has you chanting his name. his name is dripping like honey from your lips as you try your hardest not to cum. soobin knows you're close; how couldn't he? with your walls fluttering against his fingers and your thighs trembling. "it's okay, baby, you can let go for me," and it's almost as though that was the final piece of a puzzle. you're suddenly seeing stars, and your walls are convulsing around him as you cum.
"is that all you can take, or do you want more?" he asks you as if he doesn't already know your answer. without a second thought, you're screaming once more for him, "please, soobin, i need you inside of me—going insane—need your big cock inside me." you're so needy and desperate for him, it's borderline pathetic. "okay, let me just grab a condom," he says, going to get up, but you grab his arm, pulling him back in to stop him. "no, i need you raw." such a simple sentence, but it's enough to make his cock twitch. "you really are insatiable," and his lips dive back into yours.
as you kiss, you can feel him lining himself up with you, his large cockhead teasing your opening. moaning into the kiss and telling him to put it in already, only making him smile against your lips. when he slips into you, you swear you see heaven. the stretch like nothing you've ever felt before; he's so big, and he's already hitting you so deep. when he bottoms out, you're already grinding against him, begging him to move. soobin is more than happy to oblige, digging his fingers into your hips and slowly pulling out of you, only to ram back in.
you think he'd be rough with just that one thrust, but he continues to be hard and fast. as he thrusts his cock inside of you, you can't help but stare. he makes your head fuzzy, and all you can do is lay there and moan. feeling him lay his hand over your stomach and press down has you clenching around him, making him twitch deep inside you. "god, you're so tight, and you take me so well, like you were made for me," he says. all you can do is moan at his praises, making you teeter closer to the edge.
his groans sound like heaven, his glasses are foggy, and his fringe slightly hangs over them. you don't think you've ever seen anyone look hotter. you don't realize how long you've been staring until he says something like, "see something you like?" and in that moment, you realize you're drunk on him, and you don't ever want to get sober. he chuckles and gives you a smirk right before playing with your clit again. "i can feel the way you're clenching down on me; I know you're close." he's acting almost as if he isn't close, too. "please, soobin, i need to cum—need you to fill me up too, please, soobin." you punctuate your words by wrapping your legs around his waist.
his thrusts become sloppier, and his head falls into the crook of your neck. feeling his hot breath as he curses. "cum for me, y/n" it's not a request but an order. your legs tighten around him as you cum, locking him in as you let out loud moans while your body is wracked with pleasure. you barely get a second to recover before soobin's hot cum floods your insides. there's so much, and you don't think you've ever felt fuller than you do in this moment. after he slips out, you can feel his cum starting to dribble out of your hole.
your head is fuzzy, and you're barely coherent when soobin tells you he's going to grab something to clean you up. however, even with the burn in your legs, gasping for air, and cum spilling from your hole. you can't help but think there's no way this absolute sex god of a man is a damn nerd.
but god, you love nerds.

༺──────────────༻
He catches her attention at the worst time. She's currently standing under an archway behind her best friend on Lake Geneva in Switzerland as Dina gets married to her boyfriend of five years. He sits in the fourth row on Nico's side between two guys that look similar to him, so she assumes they're related. Brothers, probably.
She tries to keep her attention on the ceremony going in literally right in front of her, but she is having a hard time keeping her gaze away from those pretty blue eyes that she can even see from where she stands.
Finally the ceremony ends when Nico kisses Dina for the first time as husband and wife. The crowd cheers for the newly wed couple as they walk back up the aisle together. With the biggest smile on her face, she can't help but spare one more glance at guy with the blue eyes. Even his smile is pretty.
This isn't supposed to happen. She's not supposed to find someone sitting in the crowd at her best friend's wedding. She's supposed to be the maid of honor and making sure the day goes smoothly.
Though, she can't help but wonder who he is. No one in Nico's family has bright blue eyes like that guy does so he can't be related to him. A friend maybe? A teammate? Someone else who plays in the NHL? Maybe she should find out.
It feels like thousands of pictures are taken by the time the bridal party and the newlyweds make their entrances to the reception. The bridesmaids make their entrance to P!nk's "Raise Your Glass" while the groomsmen make their entrance to AC/DC's "Thunderstruck". Dina and Nico come in last to Bruno Mars' "Marry You".
She sits beside Dina and another one of the bridesmaids for toasts, dinner, and dessert. Drinks are brought to the bridal party table and she is very glad because she's trying to save her feet for the dance floor once they open it up.
There's one thing that's really on her mind though. Who was the guy sitting in the fourth row at the ceremony?
While dessert is being served, she leans over to Dina. "Can I ask you a really stupid question?" she asks her best friend.
Dina swallows a bite of the cake and nods. "It can't be that stupid," her friend teases.
"Um," she hesitates. "There was a guy that I couldn't stop looking at during the ceremony and I was hoping you can tell me who he is? He has blue eyes, brown hair? He was sitting in the fourth row on Nico's side of the room between two guys that I think are his brothers?"
Her friend looks at her with raised eyebrows, then bursts out laughing like the funniest joke was just told. "I'm sorry," she laughs. "It's not funny. I'm sorry. I think you're talking about Jack. He's one of Nico's teammates in New Jersey. He's basically hockey royalty and comes from a well known hockey family."
She nods and sips her glass of wine, needing some kind of alcohol in her system. "Thanks," she mumbles under her breath.
Dina laughs and stands up. "Come on," she laughs. "I'll give you an introduction to him and his brothers. You'll probably see them a lot more often now that I'm married to Jack's captain."
"Oh, no," she quickly says as Dina pulls her out of her seat. "I don't think that's necessary. I just wanted to know who he is. I don't need an introduction."
Her best friend looks at her, squinting her eyes at her. "Listen, you have been in such a crabby mood since Alex broke up with you like six months ago," Dina points out. "You need to meet someone and get laid. Where else to meet someone then at a wedding?"
Oh God, she thinks as Dina hooks her elbow with hers while walking over to one of the table. She tries not to look like she might drop to the floor with nerves as she crosses the room with the bride.
The pair walk up to a table of six guys, one of them being the guy she saw in the audience during the ceremony -- Jack. His brothers she still assumes are sitting with him as well as five other very well built guys. She sighs softly as they stop walking.
"What's up, guys?" Dina greets. "How was the food?"
Casual. Nice.
One of the non-related guys speaks up and answers for the table. "It was really good. The steak was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were seasoned well," he says, looking between us.
Dina smiles, still playing it casual. "That's great," she says. "My maid of honor (Y/N) is probably very glad to hear that. She was the one that really put together the menu for the reception so I'm glad it was good."
She smiles when her name is brought into the conversation. She tries her best not to stare at the blue eyed guy from the ceremony. Her eyes still steal an occasional glance, and she feels very self conscious of herself.
"Right," she says after Dina is done talking. "That was me. I'm glad the food was good ..." She trails off, leaving it open for the guy to give her his name.
The guy smiles at her. "Dawson," he says. "That's Timo, Seamus, Jack, Quinn, and Luke." Each guy waves their hand when introduced. Her eyes linger on Jack for a moment when he's introduced to her.
Dina nudges her with her elbow. "Right, well, I hope you all gave a good night," she says. "Have fun on the dance floor in a little bit. Nice to meet you all. I have more rounds to make."
Then she walks away. She tries to make it look casual when she just wants to run far, far away. She walks to her seat and downs the rest of her wine. Dina sits back beside her, laughing. Nico looks between the girls.
"What's so funny?" he asks.
"(Y/N) was scared to meet your teammates," Dina tells her new husband. "More specifically Jack. He caught her attention when we were saying our vows."
Nico smiles at her. "Jack's harmless," he explains. "He's like a puppy dog. He also likes to make terrible jokes to try and make you laugh. Don't laugh. It only boosts his ego."
"Who's ego?" a voice suddenly asks.
The three of them look in front of them to see a confused Jack. She wants to crawl under the table when he appears in front of her.
"Yours," Nico replies with a smile on his face. "You and your terrible jokes."
Jack smiles and she swears her heart flutters in her chest when he does. "What can I say? Everyone loves a good joke," he says, looking directly at her. She can't help but give him a little grin.
Both Dina and Nico shake their heads. Nico grabs his new wife's hand and stands up with her. "We have to go make some rounds to see our guests," he explains. "Will the two of you be okay by yourselves?"
She nods, looking at her best friend and Nico. "Yeah," she says. "We'll be fine."
Her friends leave the table and she turns her full attention to Jack. He extends his hand to her. "Can I get you a drink?" he asks. "Well, I guess accompany you to get a drink since it's open bar."
She doesn't have the heart to tell him that she gets drinks brought to her so she just nods and walks with him up to the bar. She orders her usual strawberry margarita and Jack gets a beer.
"So, how do you know Dina?" Jack asks. "I assume you're close since you're her maid of honor."
"Um, yeah," she replies. "She's my best friend. We grew up together attached at the hip because our moms are best friends too. She's a few months older than me so we weren't in the same class together but we have always been close despite that." She pauses for a beat when they are served their drinks. "How do you know Nico?"
Jack takes a long sip of his beer and looks at her. "We play together for the New Jersey Devils," he explains. "He's my captain, and one of my closest friends on the team. We've played together since I was drafted in 2019. We were both number one overall draft picks in our draft years so I always felt like I could go to him if I was feeling stressed out or overwhelmed by the pressure on me. We've grown close since my rookie year. My brother Luke looks up to him too."
She smiles and sips her margarita as Jack talks. "That's sweet," she says when he's done talking.
He lets out a breathy laugh at the same time Dina gets on the mic to speak to everyone.
"Nico and I would like to take this time to thank you all for making the trip to watch us profess our loves and marry one another," she begins to say. "We appreciate it and we hope the food was good. Now it's time for the real fun to begin. The dance floor is now open!"
As the last sentence is said, the DJ plays "Can't Stop the Feeling" by Justin Timberlake. A lot of the crowd makes their way out to the floor, especially the kids. She smiles at the sight of most of the guests on the dance floor.
When she looks over at Jack, she finds him looking at her. "What?" she asks, a smile forming on her face.
"Nothing," Jack replies. "I just thought this wedding was just going to be another boring wedding."
"It's not so boring now, huh?" she teases, half joking with him.
"Definitely not so boring," he tells her, serious. She raises her eyebrows when she realizes he's being serious.
She was worried that the wedding was going to be kind of boring. It sounds like doesn't have to worry about that now. Jack seems to have the same idea.
They finish their drinks and Jack invites her to go dance with him. He finds his brothers, Luke and Quinn. From their brief conversation they had while they drank their drinks, she knows that Luke is his younger brother that plays with him in New Jersey and Quinn is his older brother that is captain of the Vancouver Canucks. They formally introduce themselves to her when she walks up with Jack.
She's not sure if she'd ever admit it to Dina, but this is probably the best wedding that she's ever attended. Not only was she maid of honor, which is something the two of them have talked about since they were kids, but she met Jack.
He might be about to change her life. She doesn't know how they haven't met before tonight with her being close with Dina and Jack being close with Nico.
Either way, they've met now. She also really likes Jack and wouldn't mind staying in contact when they get back to America.
Rascal Flatts' "Bless the Broken Road" -- Dina's favorite song off the Hannah Montana movie soundtrack -- begins to play. All of the couple get on the dance floor to sway to the beat of the music. Not that she was expecting Jack to ask her to dance, but she's slightly disappointed that he's not even around.
She makes her way back to the table to get a drink and take a short break from dancing. She sips off her glass of wine that she got not too long ago and watches Dina and Nico dance. They look so in love with each other that it's disgustingly cute. They smile and talk to each other while the song is on.
Suddenly, someone taps her on the shoulder. She turns her head to see who it is and is surprised when it's Jack. He's extending his hand out to her. "May I have this dance?" he asks with a sweet smile on his face.
With a smile of her own, she accept his hands and goes out onto the dance floor with him. She drapes her arms around his neck and he rests his hands on her waist. She looks up at Jack, who is looking around at the rest of the crowd on the dance floor as they begin to sway to the beat of the music.
"I don't think I've ever actually danced at one of these things," Jack admits. "Slow danced, I mean. Unless it was with my mom. I love her but sometimes I wished I could've danced with a friend or someone."
She lets out a soft laugh as Jack looks down at her. He's got half a foot on her with heels on. "Is that right?" she asks. "Well, I'm glad I got to be the first to dance with Jack Hughes at a wedding. Truly, I'm honored."
Jack smiles at her comment. "Is it really?" he asks. "I'm just a guy."
"And I'm just a girl," she replies. "Dancing with a cute guy at my best friend's wedding."
"Oh, I'm cute now?" he questions, teasing her. "I should've known when you couldn't stop looking at me while Dina and Nico were right in front of you getting married a few hours ago."
Her jaw practically drops at his teasing. "You saw that?" she asks. "I thought I was being subtle."
He laughs and shakes his head. "You were anything but subtle," he tells her. "There were a few times where you stared. I could see you looking at me despite my attention being on Nico and Dina."
She feels her cheeks get hot when he tells her that she wasn't subtle when she was looking at him during the ceremony. "That's so embarrassing," she pouts. "It was that obvious that I was looking at you? Really?" Jack nods. "Oh my God."
Jack's smile widens while looking down at her. "It was cute," he tells her. "I don't blame you though. I am a very attractive man."
With a roll of her eyes, she gently and playfully swats at his chest. "You're impossible," she laughs.
"Yeah, well," Jack sighs, wrapping his arms around her waist rather than just resting his hand on her. "You like me anyway. At least, it looks that way since you couldn't keep your eyes off of me."
She rolls her eyes and wraps her arms around his neck. "Oh, shut up," she says, not actually being serious. She wants to keep listening to what he has to say.
Then he does something she never expected him to do -- he kisses her. In front of a room full of people. Then she does something she didn't think she would do -- she kisses him back. Her arms tighten slightly around his neck and she presses herself against him as the song ends.
Their kiss is slow, hesitant like they're both testing the waters. She rises onto her tiptoes so he doesn't have to bend down as much to kiss her.
It's a very quick kiss though. As soon as the song changes, Jack breaks the kiss and looks down at her. She looks up at him with slightly wide eyes since she didn't think he would do that. She'd happily kiss him again.
And that's when a potentially bad idea quickly crosses her mind.
"I'm sorry-" Jack begins to say before she grabs his hand and pulls him out of the ballroom without saying a word to him.
She pulls him down a maze of hallways until the music can no longer be heard.
They turn one corner and Jack opens his mouth to say something else, but he doesn't say anything because her mouth is back on his. She pulls him down by the collar of his suit jacket and crashes her lips to his. Jack hesitates for a moment before he deeply kisses her back.
He walks her backward until her back finds a wall. She slides her hands up to cup his jaw as their exchanged kisses get deeper and hotter. Jack's hands pin her hips to the wall behind her as their tongues find each other in a passionate dance.
This is the last thing she ever expected to do tonight. She thought she would be stuck at that table all night or talking to people she barely knows. Instead, she's making out in a dark hallway with a guy that she just met tonight.
Jack's hands dip below her hips, cupping her ass. She giggles against his lips and he pulls her closer to him. She arches her back off the wall so her chest is pressed flush against his. She can feel one of his hands on her bare back where it's exposed. She shivers a little bit.
She breaks the kiss and looks up at him.
"You couldn't wait to kiss me when we weren't' surrounded by literally a hundred people?" she asks, breathless from the hot kisses she just shared with Jack.
He laughs and looks down at her. "Hey, I took the biggest risk of my life when I kissed you while we were dancing," he tells her. "And I play professional hockey for a living."
She shakes her head with a smile on her face and looks around the dark hallway before her eyes land on an open door that leads to a dimly lit room. She takes Jack's hand and leads him toward the room. It looks like a conference room or something. It's small for a conference room. The lights are dimmed since it's nighttime.
Almost as if Jack knows what she's planning, he shuts and locks the door behind them. She turns and looks at him as he walks up to her. He reaches out and cups her jaw gently while he looks at her. She tilts her head up to look at him.
"Is it okay if I kiss you now that we aren't in a room filled with literally a hundred people?" Jack asks.
She brings her hands up to grasp his suit jacket before she nods. "You can do whatever you want now that we're not in a room filled with literally a hundred people," she replies.
No sooner than the last word passes her lips, Jack's lips come crashing to hers. The force of the kiss causes her to take half a step backward. He walks her toward the conference table, pinning her against it gently.
She pushes his suit jacket off his arms, and Jack tosses it on a nearby chair without breaking the kiss. She untucks his button-up from his dress pants and begins to work at undoing the buttons on it.
Jack deepens the kiss at the same time she begins working on the buttons to undress him. At least partially undress him. His hands slide around to her lower back, playing with the zipper of her dress.
As soon as she gets the last button undone, Jack pulls the zipper of the dress down. She reaches behind her and undoes the clasp that's holding her halter neck together. She breaks the kiss and looks up at Jack as she lets the top of her dress fall, revealing her upper body and breasts to him. She pushes the dress down until it pools around her ankles and she jumps up onto the table.
He looks her up and down where she sits almost naked for him. Jack undoes the belt and button holding his dress pants together as she reaches out. She wraps her fingers around his tie and tugs him toward her. Jack's hands rest on her thighs and he pulls her to the edge of the table.
She looks him up and down, his upper body exposed since his shirt hangs open. She licks her bottom lip before meeting his pretty blue eyes. Jack lifts his hand and cups her jaw for a second before his fingers slide to the back of her head. His fingers curl in her curly locks and he pulls her toward him, but he doesn't kiss her. Their noses softly brush against each other.
"Are you okay with this?" he asks. "If you'd rather do this in a bed or in the privacy of a room then we can but-"
She leans forward and kisses him to shut him up. At this moment, she's tired of hearing him talk. More touching, less talking.
A switch flips in Jack and he's slightly rougher with his movements. His lips move harshly against hers, but she reciprocates the energy. She reaches between them and unzips Jack's dress pants. They fall and pool around his ankles.
Jack leans into her and pushes her until she's flat on her back on the conference table. She bites her lip and watches as he pushes his boxers down, exposing himself to her. He's big. Just seeing him hard makes her moan softly.
He pull her lace thong to the side and lines himself up with her with one hand. His other hands runs over her torso and between her boobs. He pays attention to each one, squeezing and massaging the skin. "God, Jack," she sighs softly.
Just as she lifts her head to look at him, Jack pushes into her. She gasps at the unfamiliar stretch of Jack inside of her. His dick is bigger than the others that have been inside of her. And by "others", she means the one ex-boyfriend that she had. Jack is so much bigger than he was.
She adjusts to his size before Jack starts to rock his hips against hers. She slams her palms down on the table and tries to use her nails to grab onto the smooth top. His movements are slow and steady at first to make sure he doesn't hurt her, but as soon as she's adjusted, he's moving deeply and roughly into her.
"Fuck, Jack," she gasps as she sits up. She presses her chest against his and captures his lips in a hot kiss as he lifts one of her legs onto the table to keep her spread for him. She moans against his lips and he swallows every sound she makes.
Jack reaches between them and gently begins to rub her clit with his thumb. She gasps softly and Jack pushes his tongue into her mouth with the opportunity he has. He moves his thumb in gentle circles around the extremely sensitive bundle of nerves, careful not to apply too much pressure. Her legs begin to shake with slight overstimulation between his dick inside her and his thumb on her clit.
She grinds against his thumb, moving her body in sync with his as they continue to exchange hot kisses filled with tongue. Soft moans pass her lips with every movement he makes.
His movements slow but he thrusts deeply into her, filling her with his cock every time he moves into her. One of his hands slides into her hair to keep her close to him. Not that she was going anywhere. She's enjoying this closeness way too much.
The knot that formed in the pit of her stomach tightens to a point where it threatens to explode then and there. Her entire body shakes and Jack's movements get sloppy.
"Gonna come," Jack pants against her lips. "Fuck."
She nods and moves as close to the edge of the table as she can without falling off. Jack hooks his elbow under her bent leg that's on the table to make sure she doesn't hurt herself.
Jack's thrusts pick back up but they're sloppy movements. She rolls her hips against his.
His thumb picks up speed on her clit and that's the end of her.
"I'm coming- fuck!" she cries out as her entire body clenches around his cock. Jack fucks her through her orgasm. She grasps his upper arms, digging her nails into his skin as she releases around him.
His movements get sloppier and sloppier before he quickly pulls out of her and comes all over her thighs. Their heavy breathing from their respective orgasms is the only thing that fills the room. She gently lays herself back on top of the table.
He presses his hands into the table on either side of her, leaning on the table. He pants and looks at her. "Okay," he sighs. "I can officially check hooking up with someone at a wedding off my checklist."
She laughs and looks up at him. "You did that a little too well, Jack," she points out in a teasing voice. "Need to tell me something?"
"I don't normally hook up with women I meet four hours prior," he tells her. "Well, sometimes but it's not a regular thing. I don't tend to make it a regular thing."
"I know," she says. "Relax. I'm just messing with you." She begins to sit up and sees his come rolling down her thighs. "Can you go grab paper towels or napkins or something for me please?"
His eyes fall to her thighs and grins. "Give me a second," he sighs. "I need like thirty more seconds."
A giggle passes her lips before she softly kisses him. She couldn't resist stealing another kiss from him before they have to return to the reception.
Jack fixes his clothes then runs off to find something so she can clean herself up. He returns a few seconds later with some paper towels. She cleans her thighs off before she fixes her thong and pulls her dress back on. He zips up her dress and she clasps her halter neck together.
He fixes her hair as best as he can and she finds a mirror right outside of the conference room where she can quickly fix her makeup.
They make their way back to the reception with shared smiles. She definitely can't keep her eyes off of him now.
Jack goes off to the table with his brothers and she returns to her seat at the bridal party table. Dina looks at her with raised eyebrows when she sits down with a stupid smile on her face.
"And where have you been?" Dina asks, a smile on her face when she realizes where her best friend might have been.
"Nowhere," she lies. "Went to the bathroom."
"Right," Dina says. "And you didn't want to fix your eyeliner while you were in there?"
She looks over at Dina. "I was a little distracted."
Her best friend squints her eyes at her. "Was his name Jack Hughes?"
"Possibly."

I have no idea why I have thought this was a smart idea.
I could already feel the regret bubbling the moment when Max walked in with a scheming face and a clipboard.
A clipboard filled with questions - questions he has kept a secret.
George is trailing behind Max, holding a take-away tray containing three drinks - spotting my favourite drink, a smile graces my lips.
"Right, lovebirds, who's ready to get exposed?" Max announces plopping down on a single chair at my kitchen counter. George and I both immediately spoke over each other with awkward laughter and mumbled denials.
"We're not - what? No."
"Don't be weird Max."
George break the awkward silence as he walks in my direction, handing me my drink. "It's not even switched on yet and I feel nervous." George chuckles.
I give him a playful nudge, ignoring the way my heart jumped at how close he was, "don't worry George. Just tell the truth and the machine won't fry you.
We'd been friends for years, filming the occasional collab, laughing our way through chaotic group trips, and more recently stealing glances at each other.
He had this way of looking at me when he though I wasn't paying attention - like his thoughts were louder than he wanted them to be. I wasn't exactly subtle either, catching myself staring at his hands while he talked, or noticing how my mood lifted whenever he smiled in my direction.
And our friends - they definitely have notice this tension between us, always joking around about when we were going to get together.
Max clapped his hands, "all right, children. Let's get you to hook up - whoops I mean hooked up to the machines."
∘•···············•∘ʚ ♡ ɞ∘•················•∘∘•···············•∘ʚ ♡ ɞ∘•················•∘
Five minutes into filming and Max acting as the host, was already thriving in his role as professional chaos gremlin.
"George," he said, dramatically checking his clipboard, "have you ever fancied someone you've filmed a video with?"
George blinked. "You're going straight in, huh?" George gives Max a stare down, subtly saying something with his eyes, a possible threat to Max.
Max grinned. "Don't play innocent, Clarke. Yes or no?"
George looked over at me. Not long - just for a second. But it was enough to make me forget how to breathe.
"Yes." Truth.
Max cackled, "spicy!"
I tried to keep a straight face, fiddling with the wires on my lap.
Max turned to me, "Y/N, same question. Ever fancied someone you've filmed with?"
I forced a clam shrug. "Yeah." Truth.
George's eyebrow raised slightly, but he didn't say anything. I tried to pretend I didn't notice.
Max, of course, noticed everything - and decided to further scheme. "Okay, okay, okay," he said, rubbing his hands together and looking down to clipboard. "Let's talk types. George, what's your type?"
George paused, chewing his bottom lip. "Someone kind, funny, creative, and shares the same passions as me. She has nice eyes and doesn't take life too seriously, can easily get along with my friends."
I felt my stomach twist in the best way possible. I ticked all of those boxes - remembering back to every time George has complimented my eyes.
"And Y/N? Let's hear it." Max asks, eye glinting.
"Someone who's good at listening. Makes me laugh with trying. A little chaotic, but also grounded for our future... and oh I like tall guys."
I quickly steal a glance at George and see him trying to suppress a smile. He is tall - and then I realise, I've described everything about him as my type.
Max leaned back in his chair, grinning like he'd just won a bet. "Interesting. Very specific, you two - almost like you knew someone who you were describing."
∘•···············•∘ʚ ♡ ɞ∘•················•∘∘•···············•∘ʚ ♡ ɞ∘•················•∘
The questions moved away from the relationship ideology, and onto some ridiculous questions - whether George had ever peed in the sea (yes, truth), if I secretly hated their podcast (no, also truth), and whether we'd ever lied in a brand deal of which we both dodged that question.
Then Max struck again, a question of which was so abrupt it shocked both George and I.
"George," Max said smoothly, "do you fancy Y/N?"
George's eyes met mine, and everything went still. I could practically hear the blood rushing in my ears.
"...Yes."
There was not point in George lying, he was hooked up to a machine.
Truth.
I blinked.
He what?
Max grinned like a kid on Christmas morning. "I KNEW IT. I've not for months!"
George looked sheepish now, rubbing the back of his neck. "I didn't want to make it weird." He said, turning to look at me with a plea in his eyes.
"Too late!" Max said, point at me. "Your turn, Y/N do you have a crush on George?"
There was no point in lying now.
"Yes." Truth.
We both stared at each other for a long moment - the secret finally out. The stolen glances, and inside jokes had finally led to this.
The camera was still rolling and Max looked delighted.
George's smile was soft this time - no teasing, no nerves. "I was hoping you'd say that."
I laughed, probably blushing to the ends of the earth, "you could've said something sooner, Clarke."
He raised an eyebrow. "You were the one who made me get strapped to a lie detector to admit it." George jokes.
Our attention is stolen from starring at each other as Max stood dramatically, "well, my work here is done. You're welcome YouTube."
I glance over at George, still processing the fact that they boy I'd been crushing on for months had just admitted he the same - on camera, no less.
George leaned closer, bumping his shoulder against mine. "So... post-video dinner?"
"Only if you promise to tell me more truths, No machine required."
He smiled. "Deal."

Your parents were out of town, and your girlfriends were coming over. It isn't exactly out of the ordinary that your parents both traveled for work, which often left you home alone for long periods of time. Over the years, you had a revolving door of babysitters before you turned thirteen, and they decided you were old enough to watch after yourself. It was around this point that you started dating Paige and Azzi as much as a thirteen-year-old could date. This mostly involved going on “Dates” around town and inviting them over to watch scary movies when your parents were out of town. This evolved into three or four-day-long sleepovers, which led you to now. You are setting up your bedroom for the Stab movie marathon you had planned. Paige and Azzi were supposed to be picking up a pizza before coming over, though, knowing them, they were probably fooling around with some of their basketball teammates.
The ringing of your mother’s ancient landline pulls you from your doom scrolling. You have no idea why your mother insists on keeping the thing connected. The only calls you ever get are scams or wrong numbers. You pick up the phone rather aggressively, bringing it to your ear. “What do you want?” The words are almost a growl. “I just wanna know… What's your favorite scary movie?” The voice asked whoever it was to use the Ghostface voice modulator. “Nice try Page, you're really fucknig funny. Trying to give me nightmares so I cling to you in my sleep. Real Mature” You can’t help but feel frustrated. Paige does this at least once a year, and she thinks it is the funniest thing ever. “This isn’t Paige. Now answer the question.” The voice hosts more hostility now. “Azzi, you know my favorite movie. Did Paige put you up to this? C’mon, you know how much I hate it.”. “This isn’t Azzi. I am only going to ask you one for time know answer the fucking question”. You hang up the landline. You turn to walk away when it rings again. You let it go to voicemail and listen to the sound of your mother's voice asking the caller to leave a message.
“I know youre there pick up the fucking Phone before I gut your pretty little girlfriends” They have to be lying Paige and Azzi are on their way here now. You pick up the phone, bringing it to your ear. “You're lying.” You spit the words out.”I’m not. I can see them right now, and if you don’t answer the question. I can have them gutted in the next ten seconds. I’ll even leave you a little surprise on your bed. Now answer the fucking question.”. “My favorite scary movie is Stab the original with Billy Loomis and Stu Mocker. Everybody knows this asshole. I talk about it all the time”. “Your girlfriends will live another day. The next time I call, you better pick up the phone.” With that, they hang up. You drop the phone and turn to find Paige right behind you. “Oh, you scared me, Paige.” You throw your arms around her, and she follows through, slightly delayed. “Who was that?” She asks curiously, resting her cheek on the top of your head. “Some stupid prank call from a dumb kid. Where is Azzi? “She is bringing the pizza in. Why don't you go get in bed, and I will grab us a drink.” Paige offers, and you nod, heading upstairs to your room.
It takes all of five minutes for Paige and Azzi to join you in bed. Neither of them says anything, only cuddling up while you start the movie. With each of them beside you, safety should be felt, but you can only feel fearful. What if it wasn’t a prank call? What if someone is really going to kill you in your girlfriend's? “Stop thinking so hard and enjoy the movie, babe,” Azzi whispers, running her hand down your exposed chest. “Don’t be sorry, just relax. Paige made you a drink. I am sure that will help.” At that, Paige hands you your drink. It looks just like a Shirley Temple, but when you take a sip, the acrid taste of acholahe overtakes your senses. You take one sip after another until you're sure you will be able to feel the effects. “Just lie back, Azzi and I will keep you safe. You know that, baby,” Paige takes your glass and sets it on the nightstand. “Everything is going to be alright.” You lay your head down on Azzi’s chest and watch as the movie progresses. The situation is all too similar to your own.
When you wake up, it is also an empty bed, and the TV is still on. You creep down the stairs and into the kitchen to see Paige and Azzi making breakfast. “Did you sleep okay?” Azzi asks as you sit at the kitchen table and turn on the TV. “Seventeen-year-old Ayanna Patterson was attacked and murdered in their home last night.”The image shown is blurred, but it’s clear her whole stomach has been cut open. “Holy shit” You mutter. “They’ve been showing it all morning. It’s really unfortunate.” Paige speaks up. “Wasn’t she on your team?” you ask, turning to face the two of them. “Ya but we didn’t know her that well,” Paige explains, rolling up your guy's breakfast burritos. “She kind of kept to herself,” Azzi adds, pouring herself a cup of juice. “Cmon, we gotta go.” Paige slings her backpack over her shoulder. The three of you head outside and load into Azzi’s car.
When you get to school, there are police cars on every corner. News reports attempt to interview several students to no avail. “Oh god, why do they have to be here?” You complain, finishing your burrito. “They need to latch onto the most relevant story, babe, you know that.”Azzi opens your door, and you trail after her. “ Did you three know Ayanna Patterson? “An interviewer questions as the three of you attempt to go inside. “ No Comment.” Paige pushes the woman out of the way so you can continue on to class. “ We heard that she was on the basketball team with the two of you.” Paige ignores her and ushers you inside. “I need to tell you something.” You stop in the middle of the hall, waiting for them to give you their attention. “Not here.” Azzi grabs your hand, pulling you into the bathroom. The three of you crowd into a stall. “Couldn’t we have had this conversation in the car?” Paige asks, slightly annoyed. “I was flustered. Stop being a jerk,” You whisper, shout. “Someone called the house last night, they were using that stupid ghost face voice.” “Why didn’t you tell us last night?” Paige looks terrified. “They said they were going to kill you. I thought it was a prank until the news this morning. I think we’re next.”. You're silenced when someone enters the bathroom. “Well, they better pray 'cause I have a gun.” Azzi Whispers. “We’ll be fine,” Paige adds, opening the stall door and slipping out. “You guys are too calm they is a fucking killer on the loose.” You whisper following the two of them out into the hall. “We are the best prepared. We’ve watched every scary movie.” Paige holds your shoulders as she speaks. “ When you finish class, come to the gym, we have practice, then we can go to your house.”. You nod, as scared as you are, they are pretty good at calming you down. “Okay, but we have to go home right after practice.”
“Did you hear that the killer wore one of those Ghostface masks?” A girl in your chemistry class whispers not so quietly to her friends. This is getting out of hand. Sure, there are copycat killers every decade, that’s why there are six stab movies, but you didn’t want to end up smack dab in the center of Stab Seven. Sure, some of these girls would die to get famous, but not you. “Do you think they’ll kill again?”. “They always do, just like they always work in pairs,” Another girl answers. “They kill until they get caught or they die,” Someone else adds, and you try to space out. The last thing you need is to induce a panic attack right now.
As soon as you get out of class, you make your way to the gym. The lights are on, and the whole team is inside. You sit on the bleachers and watch as they take a moment of silence for their teammate. You look over the girls for anyone not taking it seriously. That might help you locate any suspects, but everyone seems to be genuinely upset. You’re back at square one. You watch as the girls start their warmups. After a while, it gets boring, and you start on your homework.
Once Paige and Azzi have showered, the three of you head out to Azzi’s car. Your nerves seem to be getting the best of you. You jump at every little sound and move away from anyone walking too closely to the three of you. “You need to relax. Everything is going to be fine. We are going to go home, watch a movie, make some dinner, and go to bed. No killer is going to get you with us around.”Azzi slings her arm around you, pulling you close. “Paige will get you all relaxed by the time we get home.” Azzi opens the door, pushing you onto your back in the backseat of her car. Paige crawls onto you, and Azzi slams the door shut. The car rolls out of the parking lot, as Paige leans down to connect your lips. She pulled back slightly, out of breath. “Paige, I’m scared,” you whisper as she moves to kiss your neck. “Don’t be scared, baby.” Paige’s voice can barely be heard as she whispers against your skin.
“You can’t tell me not to be scared when there is a masked killer in our town.” You roll your hips against her. Paige pulls your shirt up so she can press soft kisses against your breast. “I can when I know the killer won’t kill you.” Paige mumbles. “You can’t know that.”You groan as she bites hard enough to indent your skin. “Can you wanna know why?” Paige asks, moving up to kiss your lips again. “Why?” You roll your eyes as she kisses you again. “Because I killed her, and I would never kill you.”She whispers, her hand holding your body in place. “You’re not serious.” You are asking more than telling her. “I was not, I was joking, ”She laughs, letting her head hit your breast. “That was not funny,” you say, smacking her lightly. “Inside you two,” Azzi’s shouts, apparently not hearing Paige’s cruel joke.
Once you eat dinner, the three of you settle on the couch. “So if not Stab, what should we watch?” Paige asks, laying her head down in your lap. “We could watch the new Hunger Games. It is supposed to be good,” you offer, running your fingers through Paige's hair. “ Sounds good, babe,” Azzi answers, tucking herself into your side. “Are you guys okay? You’re being weirdly clingy?” You ask, turning the movie on. “We just missed you. With everything going on we just wanna enjoy our time together.” Azzi grabs your hand, intertwining your guy's fingers. “You say that someone is going to die.” You try to keep your panic down, but it's hard with them acting like this. “I didn’t mean it like that, just watch the movie.”Azzi quits after that, forcing you to actually watch the movie.
You’re half asleep by the time the movie finishes. Paige carries you upstairs and lays you in bed. You try to get her to stay, but she walks to the door. “I’ll only be a minute. I’ve gotta help Azzi clean up,” Paige promises, blowing you a kiss before shutting your bedroom door. You must have fallen asleep because when you wake up, the bed is still empty,y but you can hear the two of them talking. You exit your bedroom and walk across the wall to the bathroom. Paige sits in the shower in a blood-soaked top and boxers while Azzi sits on the counter cleaning a set of blood-covered knives. “What are you doing?”
You seemed to have scared them because both their heads twist at an odd angle, and their eyes seem wild as they take you in. Azzi is the first to react, trying to pull you close, but you push away and stumble slightly on the doorframe. “Babe did have a nightmare, let's get you back to bed.” Azzi steps into the hall, and you dart downstairs. “Babe, come back. It’s not what it looks like. Please come back.” Azzi corners you into the kitchen, the knife still in her hand. “ You know what you are so afraid of?”Azzi smiles, but it seems more threatening than sweet. “I am scared because my girlfriends are the fucking ghostface killers” You shout throwing a Vase at her. It makes contact with the ground and shatters just short of her feet. “Now, that wasn’t very nice, babe.” Azzi steps over the glass, trapping you between her body and the sink.
“You’ve known us forever, you know we wouldn’t kill someone unless they deserved it.”Azzi uses her free hand to wipe your face. “You killed a girl on your team, not to mention whoever you killed tonight. “You try to pull away but can’t due to the lack of space. “She deserved it, you didn’t have to listen to the way she talked about you.”Azzi, let her head fall into the crook of your neck. “She talked about me.” You questioned, looking down at her, panicked. “She talked about you alot about how much she wanted to fuck you. About how since you already had the two of us you wouldn’t mind letting her fuck you too.” Azzi growls, lifting her head to hold eye contact with you. You lean forward, capturing her lips with your own. While kissing, you slip your hand into the sink behind you, searching for anything. Your hand closes around a frying pan. You bring the pan around, smacking it into the side of Azzi’s head. She stumbles back, leaving you with room to run for the back door.
You sprint through the hall and throw yourself against the door, pushing it open from sheer force alone. You run barefoot through the backyard trying to get as far as you can. What you may have forgotten is that your girlfriends, or were they your killers, were now great athletes. You're surprised when Paige snatches you around the waist, picking you up and throwing you over her shoulder. She carries you inside while you kick and scream, trying to get away. She drops you on your bed upstairs, and you sit up quickly. Azzi stands at the door, keeping you trapped. Paige sits at the edge of your bed.
“You have to understand, baby,” Paige starts, her voice soft. “Understand that you killed people.”You shout. “We killed them for you. To protect you, Paige sets her hand on your thigh, and you fight the urge to pull away. “Then why call me, why say those nasty things?” Paige sighs, rubbing her free hand over her face. “To keep you from being a suspect. You are the only thing connecting all the victims.” Paige states as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. “I still don’t get why you had to kill her. “If we just beat her up, she would talk, that's why. There can’t be any witnesses,”Azzi explains.
The three of you startle as the garage door opens. “They must be back early. Probably watched the new” Paige explains. “We need to know if you're in or out. If you're out, just know we will have to kill you and them. We don’t want to, but we will if you force us to.” Azzi leaves the door open to sit at your side. You take a breath, considering your options. “I'm in, but the killing stops tonight.”

“Megumi.”
You greeted the teen as he fell in step with you as you traversed the hallway. Any other day, the boy will be going on a mission with his classmates. However, it seems like he has gotten a day off.
“Y/n-sensei.”
You smiled slightly. You remember when you first met him. It was at breakfast after your wedding night. You both were sitting at the dining table. His face was neutral while your’s was smeared with tears.
“So, you’re G-“
“Don’t call me by his last name,” but when you looked at the boy, you did feel a tinge of regret. You didn’t mean to snap at him like that, “just please… call me y/n.”
The boy nodded and introduced himself as Megumi, and from that day on you both have become sort of friends. At least, he was the only human being around you that didn’t kiss the ground that Gojo walked on.
“Sensei?”
“What is it?”
“Can you train me today?”
You glanced at him. Usually that stuff would be handled by Gojo, “sure,” you decided not to question it.
Though, even as you knocked Megumi on his ass for the tenth time that day, you did start to get a little curious. And Megumi seemed to sense that curiosity just fine.
“Well,” you said as you helped him up, “unless you’re trying to figure out how to fall gracefully, you haven’t exactly been learning anything. I can tell your mind is elsewhere.”
Megumi sighed as he dusted himself off, “I guess I’m just wondering about something myself.”
“Like what?”
“You and Gojo.”
Your face was quick to contort into something bordering on annoyance making Megumi smile ever so slightly.
“What about him,” you managed to mutter.
“I guess I’m just wondering why you two don’t like each other…”
“And why are you wondering about it now? Why didn’t you question it when you were younger?”
“Because I saw how Gojo acted with you in that sushi restaurant. He seemed like a normal husband then, as for why I didn’t question it then… well, my dad already walked out on me. I guess I just didn’t want to say anything to you because I didn’t want you to leave like he did.”
As he was talking, you did pick up on one thing immediately. Gojo hasn’t told the kid that he killed his dad.
The second thing…
“You know, at one point I thought Gojo was the one. We knew each other throughout school, went on missions together, but we never dated. We didn’t even know our clans were setting us up on an arranged marriage.”
“If you two were friends, then what changed?”
“A loss of freedom.”
Megumi frowned at that, “what do you mean?”
“When we first got the news. I was ecstatic. I was going to marry my friend who I’ve always had feelings for. But, unlike me, it had the opposite effect on Gojo. He started avoiding me, acting colder. Even on our wedding day he acted like marrying me was even worse than fighting a cursed spirit. It was then that I realized what was truly happening. He didn’t have a choice anymore, and I ruined that for him. If I fought with my parents, begged them to reconsider, then I imagine Gojo would be free man right now…”
You smiled at that before turning your attention back to Megumi, “understand now?”
“Have you ever gotten anything you wanted, sensei?”
You mulled over the question, and even thought back to when you would see Gojo smile so genuinely at you. How he would hold your hand without his infinity as a barricade. How he would lean into you and whisper in your ear something funny and you both would laugh at the joke whilst everyone else was unaware. Or at how he confessed that he really loved-
“No. But I once got very close.”
“Y/n.”
You turned your head to see principal Yaga.
“Yes?”
“You have a mission.”
“Understood,” you looked to Megumi, “don’t miss me for too long. I’ll be sure to come back and wipe the floor with you again.”
Megumi shook his head at you, “right. Be safe, sensei.”
“No promises.”
Even when you left and Megumi was left on the training field, he could tell that you were sad.
"Maybe i shouldnt have brought it up at all."
"Brought up what?"
He felt someone throw an arm over his shoulder causing him to groan internally.
Gojo.
"It's nothing."
"It can't possibly be nothing! Especially since you look like you got the shit beaten out of you!"
Megumi glared at his teacher, but the man only grinned at his student.
"And judging by the cursed energy on you, I'm guessing it was my wife, huh?"
"Yeah..."
"Can't hear you~"
"It was!"
Gojo chuckled lightly at his student's obvious annoyance.
"So, mind telling me why you're sparring with her and not me?"
"I just wanted to ask her a few things was all..."
"Like what?"
Before Megumi could say it wasn't anything important, they were interrupted. Gojo's ringtone was alarmingly loud as it broke through the hanging silence.
Gojo answered it with a groan when he noticed it was Ichiji.
"What is it now? I just got done with a mission-"
"It's y/n! We need- we need backup immediately!"
"I'm on my way."

I would love a smut fic about Arthur leclerc, where y/n goes to a yacht party and where all the yachts are gathered, on Charles Leclerc's yacht there is a friend of y/n's, they talk a little and there is also Arthur who flirts with y/n. After the yachts are far on water the both parties start to mix and y/n and Arthur end up in a room !!!
I love all your fics and I would be very grateful to read one about that !!!! Please ❤️❤️
You can make them be cocky at eachother like a flirting game “I am interested in you/im not”
A/N: Ooooo ok, loving the back and forth “Will they won’t they” type vibes. Thank you for your support! Hopefully this is written how you imagined, enjoy! My inbox is open :)
Yacht a Day
(Like what a day, but yacht. I’m funny sometimes, I promise)
Tumblr media
You and your best friend decided to stay in Monaco for a little vacation. It was a wild 2 weeks. As soon as you landed, your taxi was hijacked by some asshole in red, causing you to have to walk to your hotel. You were trying to drag your suit cases up the steps when you bumped into someone.
Someone who was solid enough to knock you to the floor.
“Ow—excuse you,” you snapped, rubbing your hip as you looked up.
The man blinked down at you. “Maybe try watching where you’re going.”
You narrowed your eyes. “Maybe try not being built like a Formula One car.”
He smirked — that kind of smirk that practically had a passport from Monaco itself. “That’s a compliment, non?”
It should’ve ended there. It didn’t.
Because that man — smug, unfairly hot, and annoyingly familiar — turned out to be Arthur Leclerc, the same Arthur who somehow kept crossing your path over the next few days. At cafés. On the beach. At that overpriced juice bar you’d sworn you’d never go back to.
By the time you and your friend received an invite to a private yacht party hosted by Charles Leclerc himself, you already had a gut feeling Arthur would be there.
And you weren’t wrong.
The sun had started to dip low on the Monaco coastline, the sky a hazy gold when you stepped onto Charles’ yacht. Laughter and soft music floated across the water from other boats, drinks were being passed out like candy, and everyone looked perfectly polished and half-drunk.
You were standing at the rail talking to an old uni friend you’d bumped into on board when you felt it — that gaze. That Leclerc stare.
You didn’t need to turn around.
“You following me, or is this just fate again?” Arthur’s voice purred in your ear.
You sipped your cocktail calmly before looking over your shoulder. “What can I say? Monaco’s small.”
He leaned against the railing next to you, all lazy confidence and sea breeze. His shirt was unbuttoned just enough to show off the golden tan of his chest, and those swim trunks should’ve been illegal.
“I didn’t catch your name,” he said.
You gave him your first name only.
He nodded like he’d just won a prize. “I’m Arthur. But I’m sure you’ve Googled me by now.”
You laughed. “You think very highly of yourself.”
“I just know what I bring to the table,” he said smoothly. “Want me to show you?”
You turned to face him fully, smirking. “Is that how you flirt? All ego, no substance?”
He tilted his head. “Depends. Is it working?”
You pretended to think. “Not yet.”
It should’ve stayed light. Casual. But after a couple more drinks, more boats began linking up with Charles’. The water party expanded. People started jumping from yacht to yacht — laughing, dancing, making poor decisions.
Arthur found you again on the lower deck, away from the crowd. “Still pretending not to be interested?” he asked, stepping into your space.
You stared up at him, playful defiance simmering beneath your skin. “Still pretending to have a personality?”
His grin was wolfish. “I like you.”
“I’m not here to be liked.”
“Then why are you still standing here?”
Touché.
You didn’t remember how you got into the bedroom. One second you were teasing each other at the edge of the party, and the next, you were stumbling into one of the yacht’s suites, lips locked, fingers tugging at clothing like you were both dying of heat.
Arthur backed you toward the bed, his mouth relentless, his hands impossibly sure.
“So much for not being interested,” he murmured against your throat, nipping at the skin there.
“Shut up,” you gasped, nails raking down his back. “You talk too much.”
His laugh was dark, low. “You’ll be the one begging in a minute.”
You arched a brow, breathless. “Confident.”
He pushed you back onto the bed with a smug look. “Accurate.”
Clothes fell away. Hands roamed. His body fit against yours too well, all heat and tension and pressure in all the right places. He took his time — not out of patience, but possession.
Arthur made it very clear he knew exactly what he was doing.
And he wanted to ruin you for anyone else.
“You’re so fucking hot,” he whispered as his fingers slid over your thigh. “I knew it the second I saw you—flat on your ass with fire in your eyes.”
You didn’t even have a clever retort. Not when his mouth replaced his hand, not when he devoured you like he had something to prove.
You grabbed at his hair, whining, moaning his name as he pulled the most sinful sounds from your body, over and over, until the world blurred.
When he finally pushed into you, it was slow, steady — but the way he watched you as he did it? Eyes dark, lips parted, hands tight on your hips like you were something sacred?
That nearly broke you.
“You feel unreal,” he rasped. “God, look at you.”
Your head tipped back as he started to move — teasing at first, hips rolling, drawing it out until your toes curled and your nails dug into his shoulders.
“I can’t—fuck, Arthur—”
He pressed his forehead to yours, smile softening just enough to melt you. “Yes, you can.”
He kissed you again as your body locked around his, the rhythm turning desperate, sweaty, wild — until you shattered beneath him with a cry, dragging him with you into the dark.
Afterward, tangled in sheets, he traced a finger over your bare shoulder. “Still not interested?”
You turned your head, grinning. “Still not your type.”
He hummed thoughtfully. “I think red flags are my type, actually.”
You shoved his chest, laughing. “Asshole.”
He caught your hand, kissed it, and grinned. “Yours.”

I love what you did for the last writings that you made, I love how your writing is both intricate and very detailed in both situation and inner thoughts. You captured the personality perfectly of ENA and I can’t wait to read more of your work! Splendid work!
I got inspired by a certain post on TikTok! Here’s the link!
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTjPBeFN8/
If you don’t mind, could you write about Dream BBQ ENA speaking differently when she’s around human! reader? Like her Salesman is still about business but the mischievous isn’t trying to sell cons but rather with praises and teasing. And her Meanie side is still scolding and angry but it’s usually about the wellbeing over the reader and yells at them at a lower level.
She clearly speaks more fondly and sweetly to the reader compared to how she is with Froggy, Dratula, the Receptionist, and anyone else. It be so funny to have everyone see this clear favoritism during their day to day and call her out on it one day. 🤣
I hope you can consider this request. Thank you for your time and effort!

ENA has a soft spot for you and everyone can tell. When she comes into work, she passes Froggy and Dratula with a “Good day,” and a “Greetings, o creature of the night.” She gives a short wave to both, but it’s clear that she’s a targeted advertisement who is headed straight for her demographic. You perk up as ENA slows near your workstation and props herself up on her elbows to greet you. “Hellooo~ How is your car running? You look positively punctual today.” A pale hand leaves its station to calmly rest on yours. You both blush and smile at each other, exchanging a tender moment which is unfortunately surveyed by your coworkers. Froggy and Dratula watch on. “Why are they nicer to them?! Is that even allowed?” “At least ve got a good mornink. I am Dratula!” “Wait, why am I talking to you!?”
One time, you accidentally dropped a letter opener off the edge of the Hub and tried to fish it out with a stick. ENA was busy listening to Froggy debrief her on her next mission. “You need to go straight to the heart of the mountain, got it?” “Yeah, yeah. Shut it with the spiel. Can I fulfill my stupid purpose now?” She looked to the side and caught the sight of you leaning precariously over the blood ocean. Deciding not to watch for too long, she ran over and yanked you backwards by your collar. “Watch what you’re doing, moron! You could have been a soggy ingredient deep down in the soup!” You tell her that your letter opener had fallen into the blood and scissors were horrible for opening letters. ENA’s eyes narrowed as she helped you to your feet and brushed you off. “Whatever, I’ll just get you one while I’m out. Now hightail it back to your workstation before I put you in a brochure for poor life choices!” You nervously thanked ENA before skedaddling away according to her command. Froggy was beginning to suspect chemistry between his coworkers—that or cursed magic. They hadn’t filled out any paperwork for the latter if so.
The others start to notice that ENA hangs around you constantly, like some sort of contradictory perfume. She’s always sliding over to your workstation to lean on your desk or sit on a filing cabinet, chatting with you, and, get this—laughing with you. Not a conspiratorial chuckle uttered from a sly smile, nor a manic cackle shaking with fury. A real one, a soft one. Coral Glasses tries to work nearby but can’t help being appalled at how different ENA sounds with you. She subtly listens in out of sheer wonder. A harsh, crackling voice sounded out with a laugh of true joy—it was an odd combination to hear together. “Ahaha! Listen, listen. You’re smart and I like that. Don’t let any numbskull tell you otherwise, got it?” Confused by the sound of banter, Froggy goes to your cubicle to see what you’re doing, but gets blocked by ENA standing in the doorway, facing you with arms akimbo. Her head turns around to fix Froggy with a thin, red smile. “Can I offer you some sort of business solution?” He tries to peek around ENA to see what she’s laughing at, but her colorful head darts around in the air like a foo fighter to block his sight. “...They’re closed. Please come back tomorrow!”
When the Hub is filled with smoke, Froggy doubles over, coughing and retching, claiming that it’s “hitting his nerves with a folding chair”. ENA isn’t terribly concerned about his condition, fixing him with the fierce, focused stare of a sniper about to hit their mark. “Quit being such a baby. It’s a bad look on you, toad.” Standing next to Froggy, you begin to suffer a light cough, pounding your chest to clear your throat. Her face draws close and examines you, blue shadow falling over a sharp eye. “Really?! You too?! You all need to toughen up if you’re gonna survive the winter!” Her reproach makes it hard to notice at first, but you start to feel something firmly tugging and brushing against your collar. Looking down, you see that ENA’s hands are busy fixing your tie for you.
Coral Glasses scratches her cheek nervously as Froggy stands near, watching you and ENA talk from a distance. “I’m not overly concerned with work friendships or anything, but… She’s so much nicer to them than us.” Froggy crosses his arms. “I know. She’s a great worker, but she’s also insubordinate. I need to have a talk with her! Oi, ENA!” ENA glances over and pauses in your softly held conversation, adjusts your collar slightly and then draws near to Froggy’s call. “You rang?” “I just want to know… your priorities, you know?” ENA stares blankly, breaking Froggy’s professional facade. “Why are you so nice to them?! You’re not like that with us at all! You’re so much meaner to me!” Coral Glasses mutters something about not wanting to be involved before ENA explains herself. “Oh, is that really why you called me to this meeting? Well, the answer can be quite easily outlined. They bought out my feelings a while ago; I like them more than you. I’m glad we could clear up this confusion.” ENA turns away and walks back to you before Froggy can ask anything else.

i keep writing collegeau!f1 drivers, and honestly that has me thinking: (carlos, charles, max, lewis, daniel, lando and oscar! and this is sfw surprisingly lmfao)
→ carlos sainz is always out playing sports with his friends, but after a quick shower he will meet up with you in the library to study. he genuinely is really good about locking in, even if it's only for a few minutes and he manages to soak up all the information pretty fast. he's always willing to help you out, even if chooses to endlessly tease you if you get something wrong. he'll point out your mistakes, giving you more practice problems or drawing something on a board to visualize it for you. and while you do appreciate his help, it's hard to focus on the board when his hair shines like that under the light. you mutter some curses under your breath and get back to studying unaware that he secretly enjoys it when you get frustrated at him.
→ charles leclerc is awfully quiet at first and only shows up to piano rehearsals if you're there. he's very shy at first about his talent, but slowly opens up and let's you accompany him to classes and even recitals! he likes to laugh to himself if he messes up some notes, and loves when you'll lean forward to correct his fingers on the piano, his face just inches from yours. he just wishes you'd finally turn around to meet his expecting gaze, lips aching to be on yours. he plans on kissing you after his first major recital.
→ max verstappen and you both game regularly on the basis. whether it's in the computer lab, or at each others' dorms. he sometimes wishes you didn't just come to his dorm to hop on a game, but he appreciates every second he gets to spend time with you. when it comes to studying, both of you start off trying to lock in but it quickly turns into the both of you talking about how awful your professors are, or some funny story that happened to his friends. he likes to see you laugh, because it's when you really are yourself.
→ lewis hamilton likes to tag along with you when you're at karaoke events with your friends. he insists he can't sing, choosing to shy away from the spotlight. but after a couple drinks, and the way your hand wraps around his arm, tugging him to your warm body, he eventually gives in. the two of you spend most of the night screaming lyrics at each other and giggling hysterically when either of you mess up a line or two while singing. lewis swears he would love to live the rest of his like this with you.
→ daniel ricciardo ends up in your cooking class that you took solely because you needed a free elective. most of the class however is spent with dealing with his antics. he's tossing the flour at you, cracking the most awful jokes while cracking eggs (don't even ask) and all you can do is sit there and groan out loud. however, after a few classes, you realize that the class genuinely was boring and daniel was the only good thing about it. you'd sometimes grab his finished dishes and munch on it, which only causes him to lunge at you and now the both of you are on the ground laughing trying to explain to your professor why your casserole is now on the ground.
→ lando norris unfortunately decided to work at the university's daycare since all his money was going down at the clubs, and you show up to help him because you knew he was going to get overwhelmed. he was currently tackling a 3 year old who refused to let go of his curls, and you laugh out loud before running over to help him. when you manage to calm down the toddler and sing a few lullabies, lando's gaze softens and he can't help but secretly dream of having kids with you after you both graduate, having a small lovely family.
→ oscar piastri sits in the front of the class besides you. it's a hobby for the both of you to listen to the answers your peers give you, and turn around to give the nastiest side-eye ever. outside of class, the two of you laugh about what some of the responses were and you sometimes ask him if he ever judges you like that. he shakes his head, and says no. deep down, he wants to tell you that he thinks the world of you, but he keeps his mouth shut for now. what if you end up judging him instead?
