this ones pretty good
#im lying im obsessed with this its all ive been listening to#that and lana club mixes. but those dont count#this album is like if oasis were in a transporter accident and the double version of them that came out made good music#its got this deep melancholy groove rhythm playing underneath it that brings everything together even when it strays into prog or trance#its alarmingly elegant and succinct#and everytime i listen through it i find myself repeating songs before i even finish the album because they stick in the mind#the drugs dont work is an all timer. and obviously bittersweet symphony i dont even need to talk about this#and sonnet is soo catchy. and then you move through and they hit you in the head with rolling people which is so good#then it gets a bit vaporish for me but its still good and then you come out into weeping willow and lucky man#and its like the musical equivalent of spinning around in the tundra at night or something its so well done and intricate#and it ends so angry its explosive#(listening to myself) bro i have got to get out of britpop#personal#the verve
